Great facilities, loved all the techy details like the lighting options and the Bose speakers. Room was not large but felt quite spacious and very comfy. Great shower. Loved the breakfast buffet too!
The only thing that annoyed me was that they put a hold on my card for more than the whole booking, but then also charged my card again on checkout and the “hold” takes 7-10 days to come off! Would be extremely inconvenient if you were staying in several hotels and they all did this. Should deduct the bill from the hold amount and refund the difference in my opinion.
The Intercontinental in Perth lives up to its reputation and is an obvious step up from the other global hotel brands. The experience matches the price with quality fittings and comforts in the rooms. The rooms themselves are dark and quiet. For an inner-city hotel the parking is also conveniently provided nearby with either valet option or self park. The breakfast is of excellent quality and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Concrete jungle for a view. Room service is quite pricey and I was not blown away by the quality. I did not have the best experience with the staff there and have had much more personal experiences elsewhere. There was a miscommunication with my bill which led to some frustrations but was resolved in the end.
Great location, walkable to everything in the CBD. Rooms are modern, well appointed and spotless. Restaurants in-house are excellent. Good breakfast with even a fresh vegetable juicer available.
My only complaint was the bar staff on the level 1 bar could not get any of our drinks correct, they kept bringing the wrong drinks or something was missing. Also when we went to pay they could not work out what we had.
Great location, very clean.
The service and food at the lounge bar (1st floor) was terrible. Good view but extremely slow service and food was well below average. Waitresses & waiters were not attentive. Not worth the price. The $52 steak was not worth $52. The pasta napolitana tasted like it was tossed in a can of tomatoes. I cook a better steak and pasta. Not worth it.
Wrap yourself in layers of luxury found along the King Street precinct, admire the elegant 20th century architecture or explore the charming laneways just waiting to be discovered. This is life at InterContinental Perth City Centre; a place where sophistication is balanced with comfort and a rich heritage of global excellence is tailored with local cultural wisdom. Inside, feel the warmth of a personalised welcome, memorable dining experiences and a residential design.
