The Melbourne Hotel

The hotel offers a variety of lunch and dinner options with on-site restaurants, Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King and Grand Orient. Each evening, guests can wind down in the comfortable lounge bar. There is also the added advantage of an in-house restaurant and pub where guests can socialize and unwind with a drink.

Car parking is either at the adjacent car park ($30 per entry) or at a Wilson car park just around the corner ($17 per entry, quite good by Perth standards). Unfortunately, the Hotel desk staff did not communicate the location or name of the Wilson car park well enough to my husband, so he parked in another car park 100m down the road by mistake (costing $32, not a total disaster). When he realised this, the hotel staff would not take any responsibility or provide any actual help. They need to be much more clear about how to find the correct car park – guests may arrive tired and disoriented, so need extra consideration for things like this.

Clean comfortable and with the little extras supplied made it a very pleasant stay.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean and the location was perfect close to everything. The staff greeted us with a lovely friendly nature and explained everything we needed to know about the hotel.

Staff were fantastic, fresh hotel with great restaurants and bar. Tonkotsu King was delicious.
