Pros: Spacious and clean room Great location Kindness of the owner
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely! Patrizia & Salvatore were so welcoming & kind! As I travelled solo, and didn't drive - they happily organized transfers for me from where I was staying in the Umbrian countryside to the train station to head back to room. They gave me a room with the most gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside & roomy balcony! I didn't have the breakfast as I'm not a big breakfast person.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Truely brilliant. Good location, smart stylish design, bright spotlessly clean rooms, good breakfast, a careful and helpful host... And a stunning view over the valley. What more could you want?
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing experience. Staff was wonderful. Location, room and views were incredible. Greeted us with coffee and water which was lovely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous decor, fantastic breakfast selection, comfy beds plus the cleanliness. Car parking on premises. No ZTL issues. Walking distance to all attractions. Brilliant view over the valley towards Assisi in the distance. The Restaurant our host suggested was amazing. A lovely property in all respects.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the best little hotel, we've stayed in. It was a pleasure to spend time here and relax. The staff are really helpful and the place is very clean and fairly new. The view from our room was amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better place! We'd love to come back again and spend more time touring around Umbria.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great property, one of the cleanest places I've ever seen! Lovely design, with much attention to detail. I particularly appreciated the lighting of the room, an aspect often neglected in most of the B&B's. Friendly hosts, excellent breakfast, both savory and sweet, with home-made cakes. Spectacular views of the valley and Assisi in the distance.
Cons: A bit of a walk to the city center (15 min), but worth it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: big quite room with wonderful panoramic view
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was great with a beautiful view. Staff were extremely helpful and we felt really happy and welcome in the Reisdenza. Breakfast was really good too.
Cons: Crossing the road outside the Reisdenza could be scary although this is something that is beyond the control of the guest house. Otherwise brilliant.
Locanda Stella - Perugia - Building

Overview Reviews
When you stay at Locanda Stella in Perugia, you'll be near the airport, within a 10-minute drive of Arco Etrusco and Oratorio di San Bernardino. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Comfortable bed. Close to Perugia.
Cons: If you would like to sleep before 1am, I would not recommend this Locanda which is located directly above a noisy restaurant with windows overlooking the patio and parking lot and a busy road. No air conditioning, so windows need to be open for air circulation. To make matters worse during our stay work started on the roof with hammering at 9am. We were rushed to checkout before 11am so that they could clean the rooms. Owner insincere and not genuinely concerned about guests or experience.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Silvia was helpful. Good restaurant.
Cons: Noise from restaurant guests’ children on playing terrace beneath our room kept us awake to midnight. Restaurant guests should be reminded there are residents who should not be disturbed and children should be kept under control.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful stay near the country of Perugia. Idealy you have a car 10min for the centre of Perugia. very good breakfast and nicely designed rooms :)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Authentic food, warm welcome and helpful owners. Great clean rooms, with lovely views
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Silvia Is the real anchor of this lovely accomodation that combines a small boutique hotel and superb restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well, the owners made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed-even though we arrived early. The room decor is creative and fun and the bed was very comfortable. The view of the valley looking toward the old city of Perugia from our room (Room 5) was outstanding! We had a wonderful crazy lightening storm on our first day that was awesome to watch from our windows. In addition there is a lovely small communal room to sit and read, play cards or make yourself a cup of tea or coffee. They really have thought of everything to make your stay a comfortable one. The real standout was the breakfast! It was beautiful and abundant with a variety of special treats and baked goods offered. We looked forward to it each morning. Do not miss booking in for dinner as the food and wine menu is very nice and our meal both nights were delicious! We loved Laconda Stella and getting to explore Umbria and will definitely return.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The concept is very thought through and everything made with fantasy and passion. The dinner was fantastic delivering the same high quality as the room facility. We also appreciated the home made breakfast!

Cons: Bathroom sink
7.9 Good
Pros: Very comfortable room. Very helpful staff especially with the parking of the car.
Cons: Getting to hotel with car was a bit difficult. We were not sure how to get to the hotel car park which we had booked. Explanation beforehand would have made arriving a bit easier.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location, staff is so nice and helpful, hotel is fully renovated, rooms are very clean, excellent breakfast!
Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect for exploring Perugia, as most of what the visitor wants to see is within walking distance. The rooms are decorated in very modern, minimalist style--e.g., no wardrobe, only a sort of clothes rack. Good bathroom and decent amenities provided. Very good breakfast. Pleasant, helpful staff. The hotel has a garage (essential if you have a car, as casual public parking is almost impossible to find in Perugia and actively discouraged). You must telephone the hotel before arrival to arrange for a staff member to meet you at an agreed place for them to direct you to the garage--it is not part of the hotel. Use of this garage is quite expensive but there is no alternative if you have a car.
Cons: Minimal public space such as entrance foyer, but otherwise, not much to dislike. Its location makes up for any shortcomings.

Cons: The property was filled with flies , everywhere. The food was mediocre ( except for the bread was exceptional) . The location was very remote , too remote. 8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice family run hotel in the center of town. Providing parking for free was a great attraction
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our visit to Hotel Morlacchi was wonderful in every way. Three of us spent a week there recently. What made it really special was our interaction with the members of the family who run the hotel. They were communicative (we discussed everything from olive oil to international affairs!), helpful, gentle, kindly and goodhumoured. They helped us when we had a problem with our online return check-in. Our room was spotlessly clean and there was a plentiful supply of linen and towels. The fresh croissants and juice served at breakfast were delicious. The location is absolutely perfect - just beside all the historic buildings and near a number of excellent restaurants. We only wish we could return in the very near future!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly & attentive staff, very clean rooms
Cons: Breakfast
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, friendly staff.
Cons: It`s possible to hear all the movement and noise outside the room.

Pros: Wonderfully tranquil location overlooking the Umbrian hills, lots of character with a superb basement spa centre. The trapiste beer brewed onsite is delicious.
Cons: Can't really find fault, other than to mention the main house lighting is a little flat/dim. Mood lighting would really bring out the period features.. The spa/meditation areas are beautifully presented however.

Pros: The location is fantastic, food is great and staff very kind. The place is peaceful and surrounded by beauty.
Cons: Top floor rooms are dark and lead onto the patio so it can sometimes be noisy at night.

Pros: We had such a lovely time here in this super-central apartment with a stunning rooftop view of old Perugia. The incomparable National Museum is next door, as is everything else from a supermarket to the gelateria. Eva and her mother Anna went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. There was even a washing machine- very useful if you are, as we were, mid-trip. Highly recommended.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: GREAT PLACE! Everything has already been said in previous comments. We really appreciated the retractable awning (sunshade) on the lovely terrace and the very effective air conditioning in both living room and bedroom.
Cons: Not a problem for us but the bathroom can be a challenge for people taller than 180 cm. And the air in the small alcove/dressing was a bit musty. But these are insignificant details compared to all the apartment has to offer! We will be back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Never wanted to go home & we cannot wait to return! Grazie tantissimo!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Luxurious hotel, historical building with breathtaking view in some rooms.
Cons: Very little: if you wanted perfection perhaps only a bit of more personality to the hotel - which could be managed through small symbolic gifts reminding about Perugia in the room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location almost at the pedestrian area of Perugia. Extremely nice room with a nice view, friendly and helpful staff. Recommendation to book a parking at the location in advance, otherwise it is a great challenge to park there. Very well organised and supportive Reception, even at peak check out and cars handling.
Cons: The breakfast was nothing special, a bit too expensive. Coffee was great and the staff was very friendly and nice.

Pros: View from the superior rooms was worth it and the rooms were very comfortable as well, interconnecting with each other. Breakfasts were great and the pool fun (though a little small for real swimming). Staff multilingual and very friendly.
Cons:

Pros: Probably the nicest hotel in the centre and ideally located for a stay in Perugia itself
Cons: The pool and sports facilities were closed for restoration.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location, building, decoration
Cons: The rate for the internet connection was outrageously expensive. Should be a service at this level of hotels, or have a reasonable rate

Cons:

Pros: Beautiful setting, surrounded by sunflowers and mountains, fantastic restaurant, traditional rustic design.

Pros: Beautiful gardens and site. Lovely room with terrace and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant twice and the food is local, fresh and delicious! Breakfast was also very nice.
Cons: Nothing really.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Situated with a stunning view over sun flower fields. Lovely pool with levels. Rooms clean and had a castle-y feel about them. Good parking space. Wished we could stay longer. Will defenitely come back.
Cons: Breakfast was a bit short and the wait was a bit too long when we ate at the restaurant.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The place is very beautiful, peaceful. Staff very attentive. The hotel is close for visiting of Perugia, Assisi and Spello. Room and bathroom is spotless clean. Diner at the hotel restoring was both romantic and delicious.
Cons: The room for 2, 3 or 4 person is the same. You get the same room with less possibility to move in. I wasn’t impress with breakfast. From the one hand it has all list of 4 stars breakfast, from the other hand you expect from Relais to be more indulgent. The bakery part wasn’t tasty and didn’t feel very fresh. We have 2 vegetarians That was very unhappy that omelette served in the same dish with bacon. Frankly speaking we had better breakfasts during our trip.

Pros: Alberto is an amazing owner and host. He truly makes you feel at home at B&B Spring. The view was incredible and I spent a lot of time soaking in the view. The breakfast was a full spread of cakes, yogurts, croissants, juices, etc that were all made by the owner's wife. I was served my coffee and breakfast on the terrace and it was a great way to wake up. Overall amazing experience!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view to Perugia
7.1 Good
Pros: Very welcoming & friendly owner. Views althought misty in the morning.
Cons: Up a very steep road which made it difficult as my car was fully packed. Arrived in the evening & didnt want to negotiate the road again in the dark to go to the nearest restaurant. No food facilities at the B&B which meant I had to wait for breakfast the next day. Limited breakfast . Did not consider it good value for price charged.
Hotel Rosalba - Perugia - Building
2
8.7 Excellent (170 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Rosalba in Perugia (Old Town), you'll be a 5-minute walk from Rocca Paolina and 7 minutes by foot from Palazzo dei Priori. Featured amenities include express check-in, luggage storage, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Decent room in an excellent location. Excellent parking recommendation nearby.
Cons: It was a room in the basement and there was 1 window which couldn't be blacked out, which was annoying due to light seeping in, especially when the garbage was picked up during the night right outside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy access to Centro via escalators.
Cons: The shower door had three panels. One fixed, two slidding to close the shower stall and contain the water. The last panel was sticky and took some jockying around to close it, to seal the stall door. Needs a fix before someone pulls it off the sliding channel with the channel and the other slider. Easier and less costly to fix it now. It was annoying to have to deal with for every shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Near the center of the city and very confortable. A good view from the room.
Cons: Breakfast could be better.
5.0 Okay
Pros: location was good
Cons: the room was poor, no hot water in the shower, the access to the room was difficult, breakfast was way too light , during the night there was no ac and the room was hot
4.6 Okay
Pros: The hotel is very central and in close proximity to the station. Staff try to be as helpful s possible.
Cons: The room is dated and somewhat shabby. There was an unused tatty frigo-bar in the corner of the room which is an eyesore. The furniture in the room is antique and unappealing. The bedframe paint terribly chipped (no, not purposely distressed) There is a fruit and veg market in front of the hotel so you can get some noises in the early hours with the stall owners lugging their wares. We had to cancel the breakfast on the last day as it was not worth it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant location. The Italians have escalators up to their hilltop towns and the hotel was right next to one. We were on the ground floor. May have struggled a bit if up the stairs. Room was lovely with good bathroom. Excellent value for money
Cons: Google maps sent us around in circles from the link so parked and walked
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was located just outside the old town centre and we were advised about the escalators nearby which carried us right up to the centre. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke some English. Breakfast was in a small cafe just round the corner from the hotel and was basic but adequate. Good value for money.
Cons: Very happy with our choice of hotel.
7.9 Good
Pros: Close to the center, small property, clean & the staff was extremely helpful and friendly!
Cons: A little noisy in the early morning.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: the staff were delightful, a lovely hotel!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Kind and very helpful staff.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location; historical significance of building; staff
Cons: The hotel although clean can use a facelift. Some basic paint can go a long way. The building is so historically old that you expect some signs of that but there is no excuse for mold in the bathrooms, walls that could use painting; furniture that could be updated.
7.0 Good
Pros: Amazing location - perfect for exploring Perugia. Views across roof tops were great for getting a feel of the area from the bedroom. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Cons: Whilst the decor was interesting and created an unusual atmosphere, it was a bit dated in places. Bathroom could have been nicer and the bed wasn’t amazing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Kind and helpful staff, good location, amazing view from the terrace. Everything was clean just a little bit old fashioned like whole Perugia :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this very friendly hotel. We were fortunate to have a room with a balcony and an amazing view. Everything was spotlessly clean and functional. There are bars, restaurants and shops on the doorstep. All the staff are very welcoming and helpful. We arrived in Perugia by train and took the Mini Metro (walk to end of platform 1 and the Metro is directly opposite) to Pincetto. There is a ticket machine near the entrance barrier and costs 1.5 euro per person per ride which takes about 5 mins. Turn right out of Pincetto and the walk to hotel takes about 10 mins. Dalla Bianca restaurant was excellent for simple tasty home cooked food at a very reasonable price. The house wine was perfect with the food and just a few minutes walk from the hotel.
Cons: The no smoking rule is not observed by many guests and you can smell it coming into the room as the corridors are very narrow. We just left balcony doors open but it could be a problem for some people.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was incredibly friendly and ready to help me with everything at any time. I was very impressed with my room, for a relatively low rate it had big and comfortable bathroom with a bathtub, a fireplace, and a full kitchen. There was a gorgeous view from the window. City center was a few minutes walk away and there were cute shops all along the way.
Cons: The decor was a little old fashioned, but perfectly serviceable.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Mario and Michael went out or their way to make or stay most enjoyable,,,,Nice shower, good wiFi.
Cons: Parking was a ways away.

Pros: Very well located with amazing views. Very close to the old part of town. Absolutely stunning.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was really well situated for all the main site. The staff were generally very helpful. The breakfast was really good. The restaurant was good too. My son loved the pool!
Cons: My room was very warm and it was not possible to lower the temperature of an individual room as it was set by a central thermostat, I was told because I was English that perhaps I found Italy a bit too warm (I did advise that we had been living in Italy for nearly 2 years!). The beds were a little hard too.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The check in was super nice, staff hekpful and smiling - the place is amazingly located, the room is spacious, everything was super fine!
Cons: The check out. I left the room at 06:30 because I needed to take a taxi at 07h. The breakfast was not served before 7 am and I understand that. But I explained that I was going to take a train in a station without a bar (Ingegnaria) and if it would be possible to have a coffee or something little to take away. The guy at the desk simply answered: I am sorry but I cannot do anything, the kitchen opens at 7 am. I insisted, asking if he could at least bring something small and he repeated: Im sorry but I cannot. I left the hotel without a cup of coffee (and I thoght about the previous place I stay in Florence, much simpler but where the staff offered me, for example, a box to go when they knew I was leaving Florence before the time breakfast was served. If was not for the gentle taxi driver who drove me to the train station (and who even offer to stopped by a coffee place to help me) I would leave the fabulous Perugia not feeling welcome.
