Pros: A perfect location for exploring Tuscany. The location, the accommodation, the food, the service as well as the whole team are excellent and of a special hospitality, which makes the stay really a unique experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A wonderfully warm welcome from Alessandro and all of his team at Podere Spedalone. The location is tranquil and beautiful with amazing views. We stayed for 3 nights and ate dinner there on all three nights. Delicious food and excellent wine and we enjoyed the social aspect of dining with all the guests at one table. They gave us great advice about places to visit, good places for lunch and were knowledgeable about wines too. It felt like everyone enjoyed working there and wanted us to enjoy it as much as they did. To be honest we would rather keep how great it is to ourselves but that would be an unfair exchange after such a wonderful stay. Would recommend in a heartbeat. A special place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Words can’t really do justice to how good this place is. We loved our stay. The hospitality, the food, the views and location are truly special. The very best of Tuscany. I can’t wait to return.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: After a flight and a long drive down to Pienza it was a delight to turn up at Podere Spedelone where we were greeted with prosecco and a fantastic 4 course meal. We hadn't originally intended to eat there but the sun setting over the tuscan hills, the fantastic food and the cameraderie of the other guests sitting at the communal table and not having to drive back from a local restaurant was too good to miss and we ended up eating there 3 out of 4 nights. The setting is beautiful and the staff (Alessandro, Fabrizio, Massimo and Vincenzo) go out of their way to look after you, the rooms are comfortable and although it was in the mid thirties outside it was cool in the rooms. The location is also handy for Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, San Quirico. I would definetely come back again. Grazie mille!
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location (in the middle of nowhere), friendly hosts, views, prices, homemade olive oil
Cons: Food in Toscana usually exceeds expectations...., it was good but very conservative (basic, limited variety). Very hard to find if drive in at darkness. Be ready to defend self against mosquitos. Still worth staying...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A gem in the heart of Tuscany, this agriturismo is in an absolutely stunning area. The home is spotless and gives a great feeling of the Tuscan farm, the cellar and kitchen are amazing. The 2 cats are lovely companions - one of them followed us around the grounds for an early morning walk, meowing along the way. Breakfast is local, seasonal, fresh and delicious - set against the most amazing scenery. Dinner at the property was even better, with great food and a nice wine list. Alessandro and his team are amazing hosts - thoroughly enjoyed our short stay, can only hope to return for a longer time at some point in the future.
Cons: Nothing - this had it all.

Pros: New and modern design while keeping the authenticity of the city and culture. Extremely clean. Location is amazing. 2 min away from anything in the city. Parking is available around the property. Restaurants all over. The really fantastic thing is that Elisabetta and her husband make everyone feel home. They prepare breakfast for guests, do different cakes, explain about the city, share their experiences, have conversations etc..one ends up feeling as if they came to pienza and stayed home. Greatly recommended!

Pros: The host Elisabetta was so nice. The view from my room and also from the roof balcony was breathtakingly beautiful, The home made cakes and cappuccino were so good and the breakfast is just wonderful! Pros: Location is great as well as the hostess’ service. The welcome is warm, pleasant as you can get all the tips you need to experience Pienza. Pros: We had such a wonderful time in Pienza with our exceptional host Elisabetta. A beautiful connection to an amazing Tuscan town facilitated by the perfect host.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Elizabetta was an exceptional host. She made us feel at home from the very start and was able to spend time with us both in the evening and morning. She made a great dinner recommendation and was also able to connect us with a local olive oil producer for an informative, personal tour. Elizabetta genuinely enjoys hosting her guests. We recommend her B&B highly!

Pros: La Bellevita B & B is wonderful. We fell in love with Elisabetta, the owner! She couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Her husband prepared delicious fresh baked goods which was offered each morning. We can't wait to visit again. Simply magical!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything about staying at La Bellavita! Elizabeth, the hostess and owner, was lovely in every way. She helped us pick restaurants, make reservations, get a poster, see an artist, find our way around and generally made us feel as if we were staying with loving family. The room and overall space was tastefully renovated old space with all the comforts of new space AND a great location in the heart of Pienza. Our bed and the linens were quite comfortable and the en-suite bathroom was not large but functional and modern. The breakfast nook and rooftop patio provide common space with the ability to take in the AMAZING VIEWS. Elizabeth was also VERY kind in taking care of my nut allergy and not only buying special products for my breakfast but also letting me read the ingredients to confirm. The breakfast had fresh fruit, yogurt, breads, cheeses and meats. Also oranges and a squeezed so we could squeeze our own fresh OJ. Delicious! We loved staying at La Bellavita and hope to be able to return!!
Cons: There wasn’t anything we did not like. Some might not like that there is no way to drive to the property and a steep flight of stairs to get into the B&B. This was not an issue for us.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent European-style. Plus Elizabetta's (our hostess) husband made delicious cakes and tarts to add to the regular meat/cheese/yogurt options. Excellent coffee as well.
Cons: Really no complaints. Steep stairs and no lift for my 87 year old Mom, but she's in great shape and handled them fine.

7.5 Good
Pros: The view here is spectacular. Felt amazing to be out in nature. Our room was super sparkling clean with lots of lovely wine to choose from. The owners were welcoming when we arrived and check in was easy.
Cons: The pillows made it almost impossible to get any sleep. They were very flat and could use with updating. The downstairs apartment was very noisy. Could hear upstairs and the driveway noises. I would recommend being in an upstairs room. On arrival there was an overwhelming aroma perfume smell in our room which made it uncomfortable to be in there until we could air it out. Not sure what the smell was at breakfast either but it was also impossible for me to stay in the breakfast area. Having more savoury foods at breakfast would be good as there was lots of sweets.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely agriturismo in beautiful surroundings and good location for touring round. Staff were very helpful, our apartment was ideal, very comfortable bed and good choices at breakfast.
Cons: Our shower cubicle was very small.

He was wonderful.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Laura was super nice and helpful. If you wanted something or something was not working they get on it right away. It was a quite and comfy location. The breakfast was made fresh everyday and tasted excellent. The map Laura had prepared for visiting the nearby areas was very helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were hosted by a wonderful lady called Laura. At any time, day or night, she was available (in person, by phone or text), to help us with any questions or requests we had. She went above and beyond all expectations. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the homegrown food for breakfast and dinner was sublime. They have a farm shop too, at which we purchased their produce to bring home. We will definitely stay there again when we revisit the area.
Cons: The only requirement for this area in general is a car, as taxis are expensive and scarce. We cannot fault the property for this.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Castello Spedaletto! Our hostess, Laura, was delightful. Breakfast was really good, with all baked goods made at home by Laura's mother using flour produced at the family mill. They gave us a small apartment with a kitchen, sitting room, bedroom and bath, that had a backdoor to a semi-private yard. Everything was sparkling clean and comfortable. The grounds were stunning, almost fairy tale-like, and the location was convenient to many hill towns including Montepulciano, Montalcino, and Pienza. It was lovely, and we would definitely stay there again.

Pros: Home made breakfast. Location was special and the castle was spectacular. Modern yet historic. Just beautiful.
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great hosting, the lady was super nice and gave us some very good pointers where to go and what to do. beautiful place, very clean and comfortable. Very nice breakfast. Very good value for money.
Cons: A pitty we didnt have coffee and milk in the rooms or in the common area, we arrived in the afternoon back from a hike and the staff was on a day off so we needed to drive to a town to get coffee. A bit uncomfortable but it was a small bad thing relative to many wonderful things about this place
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best hotel in Tuscany I experienced so far. Laura and her family are very nice-they'll do everything to make you feel good. The domain is awesome, rooms are clean, cosy and nicely decorated, the breakfast is homemade and absolutely wonderful, advices for trips around are relevant. We had three perfect days there, not to mention the impressive castle and quietness. Thank you, Laura !!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is in the middle of Val d'Orcia, surrounded by beautiful, picture perfect landscape that you can actually see from anywhere on the property. We always knew and felt we were in Tuscany and it was better than we imagined it. The gardens of the castle are beautiful, with many many flowers, and the pool is actually a Biolake shadowed by lindens (Tilia), in blossom at the time. It was absolutely amazing! The rooms & kitchen had all the facilities we could need, wonderful breakfast, and most importantly, our hosts are a great family, helpful and nice. Thank you Cinzia and Alice!
Cons: The fact we could not stay longer!

Pros: If you are planning your stay in Val d'Orcia, Castello is a Great option. Everything you will be offered there is high quality, good taste and in a kind special. Just boutique. Their olive, wine and cappuccino is a must to try. Highly reccomended.

Pros: A real castle...great atmosphere.
Cons: nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Alice and her mother were amazing hosts! Were always attentive if anything was needed, if we enjoyed breakfast, and made sure we were pro iced with enough information to enjoy the Tuscan area. The location is in the heart of the UNESCO Val d'Orcia, easy access to any town around. The farmhouse its self was beautiful and exceeded my expectations. Their bio-pool has an amazing view overlooking the Tiscan mountain. And while sitting in the pool you have a beautiful view of the castle and the plants/flowers/tress. Breakfast was so delicious with perfect made eggs and homemade cakes. It was well worth the value with the property being super clean.
Cons: I give this place 10/10. The only thing I do want to mention is the amount of bugs and flies you will come across. I know it sounds silly because you are in the middle of nature where its inevitable. I'd still go back either way to enjoy another holiday at this beautiful castle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A perfectly charming place. Alice is a wonderful host and so very helpful. Breakfast was outstanding. Highly recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazingly beautiful, great location and wonderful family owners, very friendly. After seeing so many castles it was fun to sleep in one. Big rooms and by far the best Breakfast (included) I experienced in a month of travelling Italy. Fantastic pool you gotta see to fully appreciate. My highest recommendation, especially if you need to relax for a few days...so many roses! Beautiful!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is amazingly picturesque, near lots of wineries, and I wish we had stayed for a week! The pool is lovely, the hosts are wonderfully friendly, and it is so fun the stay in the ambience of a castle!
Cons: The breakfast options were incredible! However was more limited for us as vegans which is totally understandable. Not a deal breaker in any way. Loved our stay!

Pros: The house is really lovely and stylish which is decorate with amazing drawings. The host is lovely and sweet that prepared the traditional Italy dishes for us. Everything is just perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We ran a couple hours late but our host Carla was up to greet us on our arrival, and very graciously made her home ours. Casa Dolce Casa was easy to find in the Old City section of Pienza, and only about 500 feet from the free public parking. (cars are prohibited in the Old City, making our stay very quiet.) The rooms were large and airy and tastefully decorated; the private baths modern and clean; and the bountiful, home cooked breakfast was beyond expectation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Luciana was a super host. She made us feel at home. Her breakfast was excellent. The room and bed were comfortable. We would definitely stay at this location again. The room and other areas of the facility were very clean and pleasant. On the first morning of our stay we were given a small flower arrangement for our room. Luciana treats all of her guests like family. We would definitely stay there again.
Cons: We were lucky that the evenings cooled off because there is no air conditioning. Otherwise the location was excellent value.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very well located in the center of the old town, right next to the main place. Clean B&B. Nice garden but we were not using it as it was very cold in the mornings and evenings.
Cons: Isolation of the rooms and breakfast room is not good, so one in the room or shower can hear people in the breakfast room. Breakfast table is a bit small for 6 people. We were lucky the first 2 days to stay alone in the house, it felt like private. Hot water in the shower depends on the other rooms.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully restored large rooms in a historic and only seemingly small building ( don't let you get misled by the entrance in the small courtyard ). Very warm welcome by the hostess. Wonderful and very clean rooms and bathrooms. Lovely inner yard where you could have your breakfast or sit outside in the evening. Close to the center of the small and very lovely town of Pienza. Parking on Largo Roma and side streets nearby. Rich italien breakfast, they really try their best to make their guests feel like at home. A place you always want to come back to.

Pros: Very nice small hotel in the heart of Pienza. We were very nicely welcomed and could choose between two rooms. Very good breakfast. Enjoyed the stay very much. Could highly recommend!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming B&B in old town center. Courteous staff and wonderful continental breakfast in the garden patio. Wandering through the beautiful old town made you think you were in the Middle Ages although this was probably prettier
Cons: Difficult to find as the old city was a maze also parking was hard to find

Cons: Nothing.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was very good in heart of Pienza; room was clean and adequate; very friendly staff but no one on site. Quiet and safe. Good restaurant nearby.
Cons: It is really a B&B with no staff on site unless you call them. A bit difficult to find and no one there when we arrived; no parking nearby; Owner/manager does not speak English; breakfast was very basic with no hot items; lighting poor for reading
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was super clean and cute. Italian traditional breakfast was amazing! You can get yogurts, juice and coffee anytime from common kitchen. Kettle is in there too. Roberta is so kind and helpful. I would love to stay there again. Grazie mille Roberta:))

Pros: I am so impressed with this place, with it's common area, garden, rooms, breakfast and everything else. I was traveling with a friend and we both are very grateful for the hospitality of Roberta. I would truly reccomend it for everyone, the place is filled with love and care! La Chiocarella and Pienza are just perfect! Tutto belle, Eccellente, Grazie!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Roberta was welcoming and her attention to detail was evident in her cleanliness. The location is in the best part of town. Everything is just a doorstep away! The breakfast is beyond the normal b&b so it was a great treat.
Cons: I would have liked to be informed of guests present in the room next door as it was quite startling seeing a stranger randomly walking past you. Which we had for two days. Maybe just putting a pretty sign on the door handle or something so another person knows someone is/or will be present.

Pros: Breakfast was fantastic, excellent location and very kind reception.

Pros: Beautiful property in a stunning location. Jessica and her family were great hosts. Our room was immaculately clean and well equipped with a fridge, TV and kettle. We were the only ones that availed ourselves of the breakfast during our stay, but it was well worth the money. Cakes, fruit tarts, bread, eggs, ham, cheese, fruit, juice and coffee all of which was delicious. I would highly recommend this property and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Jessica for making our stay here a memorable one.

10.0 Excellent
Cons: I would prefer to have local cheece in the breakfast
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This was a super cute agriturismo. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. We were greeted by chocolates on the pillows. There was a mini fridge. The owner was super friendly and breakfast was delicious. It was all made with products from their farm: fresh eggs, homemade cakes, homemade jams... And more than enough to eat your fill.
Cons: Unfortunately the pool was closed because it had been unseasonably cold. The farm is a bit far from the nearest city (Pienza), so unless you enjoy walking 4+ km (uphill), you will need to drive, which meant for my partner that he couldn't drink with dinner. There's no eating facilities closer to the farm, though they do have some apartments with their own kitchen units.

Pros: Location is perfect. Surrounded by Pienza, San Quirico d’Orcia and Bagno Vignoni. All this beautiful small towns can be seen from the house and are reachable within 10 minute drive. Building is well maintained and very clean. Comfortable bed, huge balcony. Breakfast is highly recommended! Breads and cakes are fantastic! We enjoyed our stay and will visit again next year.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is nice especially the view outside the farm. The owner is also very helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This agriturismo is dead center of an extraordinarily beautiful valley, up on a little hill right in the middle like the king of the valley. It's incredibly peaceful and pretty. It's also perfectly located for a rental-car-based circuit of the many surrounding towns. Our host was so friendly! The breakfast spread was fantastic & the host will make eggs to order and espresso as well. He also had lots of good suggestions for local restaurants, many of which he will give you a 10% off discount coupon for. We were only there a couple days but realized later that we could have stayed much longer. We were in the 2-BR apartment, which had a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms (each bedroom has its own bathroom) and would be a great base for a larger group doing a longer stay. I'm already planning to return :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were warmly welcomed upon arrival by the host. He introduced the hotel as well as the towns nearby to us. We also got some great recommendations for food! The location is simply perfect and as imagined - right on top of a hill where you have a fantastic view of the field. The night sky here was beautiful; very worth it and surely a place for stargazers. The room was definitely clean and well equipped with all kinds of cookware. The beds were so much more comfortable then we expected so we had a nice sleep as well (the wooden cabinet-like “curtain” that can blocked the lights were very helpful). That aside, the breakfast is of great value. The coffee was one of the best so far and their olive oil tasted so good! We would surely want to come back again :)
Cons: Not really? Small issue is that there were few bugs in our room, which might be inevitable because of the very natural environment and the hot weather. Definitely some moths and insects outside but this is very much inevitable for such setting. Didn’t actually bother us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. View, location, service. Can’t fault it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The scenery is fantastic, the property is located near the top of a small hill in the middle of farm land. You can see all the little towns dotting the countryside from here. We were first met by Frederico who is easy enough to communicate with, even though he kept apologizing for his English (we're in Italy, we should be the ones speaking Italiano). He checked us in efficiently, gave a tour of all the rooms we had and even asked if we had dinner plans. Since we didn't, he suggested he make a reservation for us, to which we quickly agreed. He did the same the second night as well. Breakfast isn't included in the the room rate, but it's only 6 euros and was very filling. We were greeted by a table full of pastries, cereal, granola, meats, cheese, & juices. On top of that, they offered coffee or cappuccino, and the best of all, a fried egg! Everything was local from nearby farms and merchants. Before we arrived, I emailed the property to ask about wine tours and they put me in contact with Nadia, who went above and beyond to show us her home (Montalcino). The rooms were great; high ceilings and large bathrooms with normal sized showers.

Pros: It was amazong- one of those special places you know youre in when you're there! Massive views all around, beautiful one bedroom apartment with kitchen, lots of natural light in the apartment, great breakfast that we paid extra for, sun-loungers in the garden, and the best, the host, Frederico- happy, helpful and a gem. Highly recommended; will come back here myself. Stay for more than 1 night!
Cons: A bathtub would have been perfect for the environment

6.7 Good
Pros: Frederico was very friendly and helpful, directing us to great activities and restaurants in the region. The food we had the one night was some of the best we had on our entire trip. And the solitude and scenery plus size and cleanliness of the Tubruk was just what we wanted.
Cons: Nothing really. Probably should clarify that there is no restaurant, but rather dinner may be available upon request (FYI - plenty of great restaurants nearby). Also would be good to have better description of location on English website. Otherwise, great, great find.

Pros: Staying at Agriturismo Poggio Tobruk was definitely a highlight of our 15days Italy trip. This place is a GO to everybody who's tired of bastle of big city and just want to have quiet days off with beautiful scenery at the center of Val D'Orcha. This place is just 10 minutes drive from the city of Pienza. Federico, the owner of this property's brother, was very welcoming us with huge hospitality. He spoke good English, fluent French and said he was to study German as well! He helped us for giving much information of places to visit around there. Out of his recommed places to visit, "Vagno Vignoni", a hot spring 10minutes drive from the agriturismo was just great! Thanks Federico! We'll definitely come back to Poggio Tobruk next time :)
Cons: One thing that we couldn't extend our stay there :(

Pros: Very nice and quiet place. We stayed in an appartment with beautyful furnitures matching this wunderful restored old farmhouse. We even got an upgrade to a room on the first floor with a balcony and a marvelous view over the fields, and we enjoyed very much to sit there and watch the sunset. The place has a fantastic spa area with indoor pool, fitness and welness area which we enjoyed very much. We highly recommend Casa Picchiata.

Pros: From the moment we drove down the driveway, Gabriella was hard at work making everything for us perfect and it continued to be so the entire time. Breath taking views, perfect location, cleanest rooms, and the most care I’ve ever witnessed a property owner take in the quality of our stay. She even invited to dinner in her home for home made hand rolled pasta and local wine! The greatest experience in Italy comes from staying here with Gabriella. Look no further. Stay here. Thank me later. Loved the room, the bathroom, the bed, the cold AC, the balcony, the pool, the host, the staff, the food was amazing, walking around the property which reaches forever, totally secluded yet in close proximity to everything. Perfect place. Would come back EVERYTIME to this place. The most relaxed I’ve been while on holiday but there is fun to be had. I don’t know how she made it so perfect, but find out for yourself.
Cons: I wish I had time to stay longer

Pros: Thx is the perfect location for southern Tuscany touring, just a few minutes drive from Pienza or San Quirico and in the middle of the Val d’Orcia. Easy location for day trips all through the area. Casa Picchiata is so lovely - we had two rooms there and both were immaculate and comfortable. Air conditioning was great (not needed at night even in the head of mid-June). The indoor pool is very nice, and there are workout machines and other bonuses that you wouldn’t expect in an agriturismo. The grounds are lovely with beautiful flowers and nice chairs to enjoy looking out into the valley. Gabriella treated us like family and was so concerned that we found everything to be satisfactory. Breakfast each morning had a nice selection, with homemade treats for breakfast as well as eggs made to order. We had dinner there one evening, which was delicious - homemade pasta and cakes with an assortment of meats and cheeses and bruschetta. The view from the property is gorgeous, and there are great paths for walking or jogging. We couldn’t have been more pleased and would definitely stay here again!
Cons: Absolutely nothing.

Pros: Francesco is a superhost! He was always available to help, made a great breakfast, had super comfortable rooms and the location is fantastic. Montichiello has fewer tourists and is very serene. The restaurants are fabulous.
Cons: There is no public transportation that services this area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had the La Cocca suite all to us. This is a free standing little house with 2 levels, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The house is very old but has been remodeled with all the modern amenities. This is the best equipped AirBnB apartment I’ve ever stayed in. Of course the location is just wonderful. My family fell in love with the little town Monticchiello, such a nice quaint lovely place in the heart of Tuscany.
Cons: Really nothing. Everything about the little house is marvelous.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent friendly service from our host Francesco. Lovely breakfast really tasty scrambled eggs, enjoyed in very tasteful surroundings.
Cons: Having to leave.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Charming owner who lives next door. Quiet despite being in the centre of the village. Nice old furniture.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful B&B in a beautiful location. The host, Francesco, was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was good, with made-to-order eggs and coffee and some fresh fruit in addition to the breads and jams. Wonderful view out our window, very roomy. Located in a beautiful, quiet town within 10 minutes of Pienza with lots of walking trails and other wonderful Tuscan towns and cites to visit, so it is a perfect location for exploring the area.
Cons: It was not a problem for me or my wife, but some older guests may be challenged by the stairs (about 4 flights, but wide and they are not steep). Also, you may need to park your car down a bit of a hill from the B&B.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Francesco was a wonderful host, spent time offering us information on scenic travel routes, restaurants The room was lovely, very clean and modern, impressed with the lighting throughout all areas of the apartment The breakfast was delicious
7.5 Good
Pros: Francesco is very helpful and made us feel comfortable.
Cons: The parking is far away
8.3 Excellent
Pros: location, Francesco is very friendly and helpful, good breakfast.
Cons: The loft conversion apartment we stayed in meant the bathroom had a very low ceiling. We did not know this until arrival and it meant i couldn't stand in the bath, i'm 6ft, and we both banged our head every day having to always sit to use the toilet and the ceiling being very low. This should be mentioned when booking as we banged our heads almost every day.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The friendliest and helpful owner who always take care of his guests. Fulfills the request of customers without hesitation. Makes the living area and kitchen absolutely clean and organized. Prepares awesome breakfast everyday. Good location of monticchielo along with such accommodation is a highly recommended visit for everyone.
Cons: Sometimes in the nights of April it gets cold due to the old yet classic structure of the building. If heating is switched on then all is well though. Water pressure wasn’t that great but not a big problem.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Francesco was a wonderful host, cook and waiter. The room, though spartan by some standards, was very modern and provided us with everything we needed. The view out our window was awesome, overlooking the Montepulciano wine country. Montichiello is a sleepy, quaint Tuscan town worthy of a visit and Casa Di Adelina is a comfortable place to stay.

Pros: The owner was very friendly and we spoke in a mix of italian, english and Google Translate :) and because I wanted to leave early (to make my cycletour up to Radicofani) she made sure I was able to have breakfast in time. The pool was nice and I loved the hammock and chill out area.
Cons: The neighbours were a little noisy, but that wasn't the owners fault. I would recommend to maybe install some sound proofing though.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent a week in this absolutely charming place that exceeded our expectations. Sabrina, the landlady is a delight, so kind and caring, which made us feel really welcome and comfortable. Breakfast is great (prosciutto, eggs, amazing local cheese, tomatoes, joghurt, cereal, danish etc). They do not offer lunch or dinner unless enough people are staying there at the same time so we went to dinner to nearby little towns or cooked in our kitchen. There's not that many stores nearby (and closed between 1.30ish to 5) so worth buying groceries just before you arrive or drive a bit to get supplies. Got really good value for money, a two-bedroom apartment with a kitchen and a living room. (self-service, no cleaning during your stay but you can ask for new towels and toiletries any time). It's very quiet at night even though it's just off the main road. (not a very busy or big road). We didn't have air-conditioning in our apartment but we didn't really need it as it cools down at night (second time in Tuscany and had the same experience before).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful stay. The grounds were impeccable, a fantastic and well kept pool after a hot day exploring the Tuscany region. Also a great base to see all the region has to offer. A beautiful breakfast daily with many homemade goods by the host Sabrina who was an absolute delight to deal with and very accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend staying at this wonderful property
Cons: No shops in close proximity so ensure you stock up with what you need
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location in the heart of Tuscany. The rooms are huge and so are the bathrooms. The grounds are beautiful with a well maintained pool which was great! Breakfast was great too, huge selection. Only regret was that we didn’t stay longer!! Could easily have stayed a whole week instead of 2 days.

Pros: Such a little gem this place is! Beautiful, comfortable, with an amazing garden and lovely pool area. The family restaurant at the owners farm was a fantastic surprise, the meal served was absolutely amazing. The service was warm and attentive. Would love to come back here again! Pros: The location was very nice as it is close to Pienza and the panorama was wonderful. The staff was very kind and the facilities were very good. The place is very beautiful overall.
Cons: The room was warm and humid and even switching on the AC didn’t improve the situation. We had to sleep with the windows open. Also, the bathroom window was communicating with the one above us so that we were hearing our neighbors.

Pros: Very lovely! We stayed here during a mini road trip through the Val D'Orcia from Florence. Very comfortable room, amazing views, and super breakfast. Great location between Pienza and San Quirico. We found an amazing bar in Pienza called Idyllium - about a 5 minute drive from Bonello, also highly recommended, and enjoyed a lovely time visiting nearby sights (Terme San Filippo, Bagno Vignoni, lunch in San Quirico, Montalcino, etc.). Highly recommended for a charming, comfortable and picturesque stay!
Cons: Nothing to improve! We loved it just as it was.

Pros: Gorgeous setting overlooking beautiful countryside. Convenient to many pretty towns in the area. Lucca was a great host with good tips on what to see and do. Quiet. Nice breakfast (optional for a bit extra).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting for the agrotourismo is pure Tuscany. It is very conveniently located between Pienza and San Querico so we were able to easily get to grocery stores, laundromat, cafes and restaurants. We ate twice with other guests in the main dining room and I was very pleased that the owner was able to accommodate a gluten free diet. The food was great and plentiful as was the wine that was served.
Cons: In the one bedroom apartment that we had booked it would have been nice to have a small couch or a couple of armchairs to relax in. But other than that the place was very well fitted out for a one week stay.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, lovely room, amazing relaxing athmosphere. Waking up in the morning with such a view is refreshing! The location is perfect to travel the surrounding areas and cities/town. Really loved the figs jam at breakfast!

Pros: Wonderful Agriturismo a short drive from Pienza. Beautiful large room and bathroom. Fantastic homemade breakfast buffet, the best we had in Italy. We really enjoyed our stay at this working sheep and pig farm.
6.3 Good
Pros: Overall a pleasant stay. Booked through booking.com, which noted that there was air conditioning. We were also expecting English speakers. This agriturismo had neither. Also, note that we were required to pay in cash (was fine but didn’t know and had to run in to town to find an ATM before we left town). Besides these minor notes, the place was great. We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment (which was quite large for 2 of us), cooked both nights we were there and it was quite nice. Had a patio all to ourselves and the grass back lawn was fabulous for an evening drink before dinner. Would go back again, just not in the summertime.
Cons: No air conditioning. No English speaking host, and she was very cold and unwelcoming when checking us in.

Pros: We were a few hours late arriving but they graciously kept the reception open up for us even late. We were traveling with an 11-month-old a baby but the room was equipped with everything we needed, including a sturdy pack-and-play crib, and an electric kettle and an electric hot plate that made warming the baby’s food very simple. I would definitely stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rosella, the manager, went above and beyond her duties to help navigate us to her hotel – we were lost in the hill towns in the dark – waited for us that we were two hours late and then helped us find a parking spot for the car. Most of the restaurants were closed but she went and got us a restaurant to stay open and feed us that night. She served a wonderful breakfast… The pastries were all fresh and delicious and we could help ourselves to as much coffee as we wanted. Later that night she got us reservations at the best restaurant in town and all in all took very good care of us . The hotel was charming and comfortable and sitting in the garden for breakfast in the morning was enchanting. My friend and I recommend this place highly!
Cons: It was better than expected so we have no complaints about anything.

Overview Reviews
The beauty of Tuscany—its wines, its food, its pastoral pleasures—are all well known. What’s rare, however, is the chance to experience this sensual land in a stylish country house that feels as if it belongs to a good friend who knows the best local restaurants, towns, and vineyards. At La Bandita Townhouse—a 12-room luxury boutique hotel—one is immersed in a world that’s awash in wood beams, exposed stone walls, and comfortable vintage and contemporary furniture. Rather than creating something new and brash, the owner of La Bandita Townhouse aimed for comfort, familiarity, local immersion, and style, fashioning a place where one can relax, eat well, and get caught up in the rhythms of everyday life: the stillness of the main piazza in the morning, the townsfolk doing their daily shopping, and the evening hum of bustling trattorias. Set on a beautiful hill amid quiet cobblestone streets, the property blends in perfectly with the character of the village.

Pros: We were kindly provided an upgrade which provided us with more room with our baby. A crib/cot was provided with cute sheets. The communal space with wine and cheese in the evening was perfect for us while our baby was sleeping in a nearby room. The staff were very courteous and helpful. It’s really nice to not feel like you’re a bother.

Pros: Great location, 100m from the old city. Very good breakfast, wide choice of products unlike to most Italian hotels. Very friendly stuff. Parking is very convenient! And Pienza is beutiful...
Cons: Restaurant like most in the town is closed at 10.00 pm rather early for Italy...

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Awesome staff, super friendly and welcoming. Helped us in our arrival and guiding us around the city to really nice and local spots. Our room was really big and confortable, with a nice bed, a good shower with a bath tub and a large living room. The room was accessible by elevator. They have a really big parking lot underground. The location is really nice, and in a really confortable position to walk around Pienza.
Cons: The breakfast was good and had many options, but the juices where a bit artificial and some of the food wasnt super fresh. A good breakfast, but a bit under the quality of the rest of the hotel.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Best location with free parking , 50 m from the historical center , next to all shops , piazzas and restaurants. Large room and bathroom a little bit old but very clean . Great ac and good WiFi Very nice breakfast and very luxury public spaces . When back in Pienza I will choose San Gregorio again ( if the pool will be ready next year , even better)
Cons: The room needs new doors and the walls to be refreshed.

Pros: What can be said about Pienza and this marvelous hotel? Just perfect. Loved every minute of our stay. Friendly hosts. Perfect breakfast on the terrace with great cappuccinos delivered right to you upon request. Views from the terrace were spectacular. The pool is a dream. So is sunning in the private guest only yard. Clean quiet rooms. Would come again. And Pienza? Well the Unesco heritage site is all it promises to be and more. We agree, upon departure today from it, that we would spend a whole month here and do day trips out next time. Perfect town to stroll again and again. Each cheese shop deserves a whiff and taste. The local cuisine at the handful of places we went to was perfection. Including local pecorino served delectably on each menu. We had the best picci pasta with tomato, garlic, pepper sauce here of entire travels throughout Italy. The views all around are gorgeous. Have a drink at the local bar overlooking the Val d’Orcia. Also the palace is a must visit- it had a Zeffirelli exhibit on about his 1968 film version of Romeo and Juliet, that was shot in the palace and town, which was truly a a pleasure for any film buff. It likely will be on for awhile. Perfect compliment to the tour. All in all a truly wonderful escape.

Pros: Everything was excellent, the accommodation was very clean, the view from our room and the Terrasse was amazing, the breakfast was tasty, the outdoor pool was great. My family and I can really recommend to stay in the hotel! We would come back anytime
Cons: No negativ points
5.5 Okay
Pros: The location inside of Pienza old city is great, the breakfast was amazing with a marvelous view!
Cons: The room size for the standard was smaller than expected. Even in the pictures, the room has no pictures but only the bed. This room should be for only 1 person, it is so small that there is impossible to have 2 bags opened and you cant walk around the bed. However the bathroom was spacious, clean and nice. The bed wasn’t to my liking as it was really small for 2 people and not so comfortable.

Cons: Marvellous location. Breathtaking view. 5 star restaurant. Historical location
7.5 Good
Pros: The viene from the room
Cons: A bit old
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Have previously stayed at the hotel twice around nine years ago, it just seemed that not much has been updated with regard to the hotel which is maybe needed, appeared a little tired.
Cons: The terrace restaurant that has been taken over for lunch & dinner. They couldn’t wait to start setting up lunch tables while you were still eating your breakfast, I also think the restriction of the front tables that make the most of the view shouldn’t be restricted as the time. Also for hotel guests using the pool during the day, it felt as if you were in the way of restaurant guests. In fact some of the tables almost blocked the steps down to the pool.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great location but rooms too old and bed and pillows not comfortable, breakfast not great either, I don’t see how this is a 4 star hotel, it definitely should be a 3. Very pricey too and for that you expect more.
