It was perfect as soon as I arrived. The staff was friendly and my place had everything to make me feel right at home. I will always stay there and I could not have wanted anything more than what they provided.
Staff was helpful and friendly, beautiful location and hot tub., game room was fun. Kitchen had everything I needed. Will be going back soon! Ran out of time
It was an amazing place to stay! It was so peaceful, relaxing, and absolutely gorgeous! I loved the atmosphere, the elegance of the location, and the incredible feel of home. The staff was fantastic, was so very helpful and kind Nothing to dislike about the resort.
We booked the hotel so that we could drive up to Sunrise Park to ski each day over a long weekend. We got checked in quickly and the front desk had ideas for dinner, including places that gave discounts for staying at the hotel. Each day we had breakfast and went to ski/snowboard. Each night we sat in the hot tub; the kids went into the pool, and after dinner, we sat in the lobby area by the fireplace to talk and play games. The bathroom was roomy and even had some shelves to put all of our bathroom bags. Overall, the hotel was just perfect for our trip.
The staff was terrific. The location is great. The beds and bedding are old and uncomfortable.
The location is great, very close to ski rental shop we use and on the far end of Pinetop closest to Sunrise. Rooms are clean and functional. This could have been a home run but it totally struck out on the most important element--sleep! I have never been in a more uncomfortable bed in my life. I would have been better off sleeping on the floor. If you like sleeping on concrete slabs with 2 by 8s for pillows, this is the place for you. I tossed and turned all night and got up more tired than when I went to bed. I cannot emphasize enough how bad the bed was. I do not want t to take away from how bad the bed was but I must also mention the shampoo packets were annoying. Bring your own shampoo so you don't have to deal with them.
A very welcome respite from the heat of the Phx valley. The staff was wonderful. Room was spacious and very comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again. I see no need to pay chain hotel prices when you can support these local businesses for a better experience.
Had the heat going for the cold arrival!
Breakfast was ok Heater did not work well. Shower water went from cold to super hot in cycles of 3 seconds, very unpleasant.
Free wifi, free restaurant breakfast, cleaned rooms nicely
Always nice. I think the sheets were upgraded since my last visit.
the rooms were clean roomie staff was nice restaurant and bar on site everybody was friendly and the bar excellent time there you have a free breakfast till 10 wish it was longer more like 12 o'clock
I liked nothing about this hotel. The people working at the hotel were extremely nasty. no teeth smelled like smoke and alcohol. The office is below a bar. Was awful the bed was hard as a rock and the customer service was terrible. They give you a voucher sheet for breakfast but it is only for one person. So if you bring a wife or even a couple of kids only one person eats, whereas if you stay at a Days Inn anywhere else it's a free complimentary breakfast. This hotel is a JOKE!
The staff was very friendly. The room was clean, the bed and amenities had a feel that was better than other "value" chains that I have stayed at. The shower had nice stone facade walls. The bed was very soft, almost bouncy with how soft it was. The included breakfast was a full breakfast at the attached restaurant on the property. It was by far the best included breakfast I have ever had with a hotel stay. The shower water temperature was tricky to control. It went from scalding to ice cold very quickly, but I was able to find a "sweet spot" eventually. The breakfast was amazing, but it did take the restaurant a very long time to get the food out after ordering. I think we were waiting for a good 45min on food.
The KC hotel was a great value. Very clean and good location. Nothing
Room was Better than expected for the price. A nice surprise. Curtains were a bit shabby. TV was old. But for one night it was okay for us.
When called after we left they responded with support. We had left a bag in the room's fridge and had a misplaced jacket. They went to the room and retrieved these items and we were able to retrieve them on our return trip. Thanks again to the caring management.
The room was small but clean. The mini fridge was large and the full sized microwave was a huge plus. It was easy to locate and the breakfast spread was good for a small motel. The heater didn't work hardly at all and was practically impossible to get to actually heat up. The staff didn't check id when checking in or when asking to have the key I lost replaced. It made me uncomfortable that their security precautions were so lax.
The room heated up quickly There were no pillow cases on most of the pillows in my room. My towels had holes in them. And there was no way for me to hook my laptop up to the TV because they are still using tv's that only have A.V. hook ups. It was just a quiet place to get some sleep.
Room decor, friendly, quick check in. Comfort home feeling
I enjoyed the free breakfast and free WiFi. I did not enjoy the dirty pool, it had the odor of smelly feet and the vibe was old. We kept our curtains closed because the view was quite disturbing. When we called for a wake up call, no one answered. I felt rushed to leave after management tried to enter our room before checkout and our clock was set incorrectly to get us out of the room before 11am. I wish we would have booked a room at the Super 8 motel in Show Low...it was further but the motel is newer.
It was clean and the people were friendly. The whole floor smelled like someone was cooking ramen.
Price Continental breakfast was decent Dirty, bad smells, noisy, not maintained
Location is close to shopping, restaurants and hiking. Cabin is very cozy and has beautiful wood floors in the kitchenette and bathroom and a stone fireplace to enjoy. When I first arrived the Wi-Fi connection was not working. The owner, Robert got involved and promptly resolved the issue. I did not have any problems afterwards.
room was a cabin feel with the knotty pine, all updated, outdoor porch, grill if we wanted to use it, quiet, and new. previous people who rented it did not clean their dishes well. Did not see any dishwashing soap, dish rags or dish towels. THAT IS ALL, everything else, GREAT ! WOULD GO BACK !
Very clean and up to date decor. Bed was extremely comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Excellent value & would stay there again. Was only able to pick up the wifi from the kitchen area. Couldn't pick up signal in the living area.
I loved it! It was very cute and cozy. It was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again. Nothing
Fireplace, helpful staff, privacy Great place to get away, only problem I had was a soft bed. Felt like I was sleeping in a hammock
We stayed there for my Birthday Weekend to do some Mt Baldy exploration and Donna was an amazing hostess. She was helpful, informative and attentive. The room was so cute and cozy with a very comfy bed. She thought of everything for a nice romantic stay. There really was nothing that disiiked about my stay.
Cleanliness, wonderful management.
Very quiet. Room was large and comfortable. I was bitten by spiders during the night. I didn't see them when I pulled down the covers, but I had ten bites by morning. The room was older, bathroom very small. Shower head at my chest.
We were very happy with our room and it was SPOTLESS! Very, very clean which is what was important to us. Being there on a Thursday night it was very quiet. The WIFI was fast! We would highly recommend this motel. Well, the towels were scratchy but that's the only negative I can come up with.
Cost It was a little old and needs to be remo but was perfect finexpensive for the price we paid.
A small place owned by a couple that take very good care of the property
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
The best part of the hotel was the price. For what we paid it was almost perfect. Nothing
Would use again
Beds were very comfortable. Very simple arrangements and parking has something to be desired but overall manageable. The management was visible and on top of the function and duties of the motel. Management/maid service cleaned our room after we left even though we had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door (as we stayed 2 nights). We'd prefer them to not disturb although they were quite pleasant in their own way. The shower was quite small.
Very friendly staff, and breakfast was excellent Room was very clean
Very clean nice facilities friendly staff
Everything! Comfy beds, GREAT breakfast, clean, friendly Price I paid through kyack was HIGHER than booking at the hotels website (IHG.com)
It is cheap, but you get what you pay for. My girlfriend hated it so I had to cancel the day we got there. They charge for one night if you don't cancel in advance. The building looks pretty rundown and the rooms aren't very modernized. Would be great if you just need a place to sleep but there are much better places to stay in Pinetop for a vacation.
LOCATION WAS NICE BUT SO ARE MANY OTHER HOTELS WITH BETTER SERVICE THE LOBBY CLOSES AT 1030PM AND THERE IS NO SIGN INDICATING THAT THE STAFF IS AVAILABLE, YOU NEED TO USE THE PHONE LOCATED OUTSIDE. I PAID FOR 2 NIGHTS STAY ON A HOLIDAY WEEKEND AND WAS UNABLE TO STAY IN THE ROOM AS I HAD NO IDEA WHAT TO DO WHEN I SHOWED UP AND THE LOBBY WAS CLOSED. I HAD TO FIND A LAST MINUTE HOTEL WITH VACANCY AT 1130PM AND I WAS NEVER REFUNDED FOR THE 2 NIGHTS STAY. I WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!
Nothing. Linens dirty.. towels all stained.. shower control broken.. the room smelled bad when we walked in
The price was nice and the facility was clean. They offered a hot tub which the front desk stated "is working now" but I didn't have time to utilize it. We had to call the front desk on two occasions regarding the neighboring rooms and they seemed attentive. There were people running up and down the hall and banging on the walls both nights we stayed. After calling the front desk they quieted down for a short period of time but we're loud again before long. Also the continental breakfast was lacking with only oatmeal, cereal, waffles, toast as the offered items. There were limited options and only 4 tables to sit and eat. The hotel represents itself as one that doesn't stay very busy. I stayed at this hotel when it was a Sleep Inn and it was nicer.
Location. Bed was not supportive.
I like that even though outdated- still clean. Also, the beds were very comfortable. Great price! The staff. The manager to be exact... I called earlier in the day to ask if it was okay for me to do a late night checkin. I gave a specific time frame, and they said "no problem." We arrived at the time we gave them, and there was no one at the front desk to help. Had a little sign saying "be back in a few minutes, helping a guest." No problem, right? What's a few minutes? Then 10 minutes went by, 20, 30... By then I was furious. We had been driving all day, and were completely exhausted. It was late, and all we wanted to do was go to bed. I started calling their phone number to see if I'd get anyone on the line. The first time, no luck. Another 15 minutes go by, and I call again. Finally, a lady answered. She claimed there had been an emergency, and the front desk person would be back in 10 minutes. At this point I was too mad to care about their problems, I just wanted to go to bed! After almost a one hour wait, the manager comes storming in, looking pissed off at the world. Doesn't say a word to us, except for my name to get me checked in. I proceeded to explain to him my story... How long we had waited, that I was specifically told someone would be here to check us in, etc. he mumbled "sorry" and continued to pound aggressively at his computer keyboard. No explanations, no sincere apologies, no incentives for the inconvenience, nothing. So, I asked for the manager. Go figure- he was the manager. I expressed to him that he had poor customer service. Again, a quiet mumbled "sorry" as he handed me our room key. Had this man taken a minute of HIS precious time, to explain this supposed emergency, and sincerely apologized for the inconvenience.... I could've gotten over it. Very disappointed how it was all handled. Then at checkout, again... He didn't say a single word except "would you like a receipt?" Nothing like "how was your stay?" Etc. Bummer- if it wasn't for that I would've given it a high score.
Close to theater, walking distance to convenience store. Quiet area. Spa available. Got the single king room and it was a large room with a couch and dining table. Pets allowed. Wifi available. Directv with hbo. Good for short trip with basic needs. No continental breakfast, no scenic views. Ac/heater was a bit loud. Old tv. No real luxury.
