Very helpful and friendly staff. Close to Zea Marina and not too far from the Great Harbour and Metro. Room a bit small.
Phidias is reasonably priced. The staff are very very helpful. The free shuttle service is fabulous. Breakfast was wonderful too. I would recommend Phidias to anyone starting and finishing their Greek Island holidays. Everything was perfect.
Nice place for a good price with good services. We can definitelly recommend this hotel.
Location, my room had a private balcony, very clean and very good service provided by the staff. Of course I will back. Maybe the area of the breakfast is very small but is adequate and comfortable.
location and price nothing
Nice and helpful staff. New renovation.
free hotel bus service no
i dont have anything to complain, the reception was great, the room was confortable, is close to the port, but a bit far way to the city, Athenas, meanwhile has a metro station close as well, about 15min walking.
Comfort, value for money, good!
Brand new lobby, spacious and bright. Excellent room facilities; include free wireless, satellite tv etc. The room was totally renovated. Great bathroom (with a bathtub) and huge double bed. In addition, very helpful staff. We were absolutely satisfied.
We came in too early to check in at their appointed time but they let us in the room anyway because it was empty, and only charged us partly for the first day. The breakfast was wonderful. Our flight arrived at 2:00 am but I had directions by bus to get to the hotel. The bus didn't go far enough so we were walking in the middle of the night trying to find the hotel. I advise taking a cab.
Location of hotel is good, walking distance from Port # 7. Looks like new renovation. Room is too small
Hotel is situated very near to Piraeus Port, about 2 minutes. You can check in 24/24, so its very helpfull when your flight is late or delayed. Little bit difficult to find it when you get out of bus X-96 direct from airport.
Great hotel. Very friendly staff. Nice central location near the ferries to the Greek islands. Also a great place to discover Athens. The subwaystation is only a five minute walk away.
a very comfortable bed, well appointed and well lit room, helpful staff and the excellent buffet breakfast nothing
Very nice people at check-in, keeping luggage without fuss. Location is perfect, close to the port; hotel is very moder and confortable. a very very good price for this spot
Very handy for taking a ferry to the islands. A 3 minute run by taxi if you have luggage. A 12 minute walk to quay side. An excellent choice of breakfast starting at a good early hour so time to eat before boarding 7.30 am ferry. Friendly staff.
Location to the ferry port. Good rooms
hotel is modern, free internet provided (but have one computer only, have to wait for other users), good view the broken wooden toilet seater not looks good and can't sure if that is clean enough to sit, and so I put some tissues on the seat before use
Near to all Pireaus facilities, simple, clean, stright forward at a great price.
The staff were really nice and helpfull the carpets in the rooms were a bit dirty and old and there was a glue smell in the room, apart from that the beds were very confortable
Excellent staff and location for early ferry travel Breakfast/coffee was not available when we needed to check out. Though this was not a surprise, the hotel clearly displayed breakfast hours (starting after when we left), but a coffee would be nice
Great hotel staff, clean and new- good location for ports. surrounding area not very safe but not hotels fault.
The kitchenette was lovely, except for the fact that there were no cooking utencils or pots and pans to cook with. Had to ask for them and the reply was we'll see what we can do. Breakfast was great, we got to watch a staff member eat and make herself 3 glasses of freshly squeezed juice before her manager who was on the phone for a half hr on a personal call told her to make us some juice. We specifically asked for a room with a kitchen so that we could cook meals for our children, there were no pots, pans, cooking utencils or dish washing liquid. With the exception of the staff member who checked us out, the rest of the staff we found to be unhelpful. We were made to feel as if we were being unreasonable in our requests.
nice hotel. Clean with helpful staff. Just a little too far from the harbour to walk with luggage, otherwise ok.
Nice big rooms Very poor breakfast, I travel a lot and this was bad.
Very comfortoble and large rooms. Very clean and silent. Breakfast was poor. There was no cheese in the breakfast buffet. Although I have asked for cheese, the manager told me this is continental breakfast. However I had cheese in all of hotels all over Greece.
My wife and I were catching a ferry the next morning at 0700 and this hotel -clean and convenient - fitted the bill perfectly. lwe walked to E9 to get the boat
Price and location, 15 min. walk to the harbour for the islands ferries or to the metro station to go anywhere in Athens. Natalia at the front desk always very nice and helpfull. Rooms recently renewed, everything clean and in order. Very good individual room air conditioning (a must in August). Breakfast is very basic but decent. Plenty of coffee shops a couple of blocks away for substitution or suplement.
Room, reception, lift & bar was as new. Cheap clean rooms
lose to port and metro station Location was a seedy street. Money had been put into a lobby upgrade, but not into the rooms. Our window looked straight across to an office. The inmates seemed to consider staring into the room part of the day's entertainment.
Helpful staff, convenient for ferry travelers, cute & cosy, …
Clean comfortable room. Not bit but better than most hotels of this price in Piraeus. Not too far from ferries. Nice little Thai restaurant close by. Area not great but same applies to most of Piraeus.
clean room ,clean bathroom , 25 mins walk from ferry
friendly staff, good location very close to the harbor, pleasant room breakfast was very poor
Loved the location and the view from the 601/602 (we booked a quadruple) was Amazing!
Nice clean (bath)room, good breakfast, helpfull staff Building activities
Only stayed 1 night so unable to form an indepth opinion but ok for the money. Good as a basic stopover hotel.
Location was good because very close to port and Pasalymani, and safe. Very friendly staff. No safety deposit box as stated in the description, very small bathroom.
Very close to the port and easy to find. Rooms were nice, clean. Same with the bathrooms. the 3 bed room is the same size as the 2 bed room but with a cot. You also lose your balcony.
Near the Port, convenient if you got off the ferry form Pireus Hotel parking is not in the building, but 200 meters away in private garage
We stayed at the hotel because it was close to the pier where we were catching a cruise
Rooms were clean. Staff very helpful. Rooms were very basic. Two uncomfortable beds. A couch you couldn't sit on. No drinking glasses. Old fashioned shower. Long walk to nearest restaurant.
Location nearby Piraeus safe area. Good value for money.
This hotel is very close to Pireaus. If you have to travel in the morning it is perfect for a one night stop. Less expensive and convenient to the port. This is not a luxury hotel, but cheap and efficient. The beds are hard.
Staff were very friendly and courteous.
Good location. Comfortable. Nice decor. Tea making facilitities not in room, but on asking we were given cups and kettle. Breakfast not served early enough in order for us to leave for the ferry. At least coffee could be provided?
Good value for family. Close to Port. Excellent for Port departures, only about 5 minutes by taxi to Port (5 euro by taxi). About 10 minute walk to Pireus subway station. However breakfast may be extra. Led to believe that breakfast was included, but was not. Had to pay extra. However the breakfast was good.
Location. In the Center of Pireus, Greece. TV, Room Service.
It is at the center of the city so you can easily go every way by feet.
A clean, cheap, conveniently located hotel. If you want somewhere simply to put your head down for the night in Piraeus then this is the place for you. The pillows weren't great - far too large and hard!
The hotel is situated within a 5-minute walk of port with its ferries/flying dolphins to many of the islands. The lift was extremely small for two people with suite cases but this was a very minor problem and would not put us off staying at the hotel again.
The helpfulness of the staff and the easy access to the port and central Athens. The possibility of having a smoking room. The lack of extra facilities, e.g an electric kettle, hairdryer and frige. The fold-up bed meant everything was rather cramped.
Extremely nice people. Very willing to help. Very good at speaking english. Good room for the price.
The schuttle to the ferry, friendly staff Room was very small, only 3 beds, and we were 4 persons -
kind and helpful staff, nice and big room a little far away from the port, but it's acceptable.
Close to Pireaus Port. Not a big room but cozy and clean. Room 41 is newly renovated and superb for couple. Staff are very friendly. Not on a main street and it's not easy to find at first. If you are taking the airport express bus, make sure you get direction from the hotel as of which stop to get off the bus etc.
o.k. I guess when we don't want to pay too much for a night before to take the terry. I wouldn't stay there for any other reason. The shuttle which transport us to the port is very convenient though.
It was close to everything, the stores, the port the metro system. I found the hotelier "Tasso" very competent and helpful. If you talk to him, please let him know that Easy Cruise was fun and age group varied from 20 to 80
Its located pretty good and the staff was very helpful. They by accident got us a smoking room, while we'd requested a non-smoking room, this was resolved very quickly and with good service. Also, the hotel has a bar and they offered to order us pizza if we were to tired to walk to a restaurant. The bathroom was a bit poor, with no real door, only a sliding plastic thingy. For the same money, or 5 euros more, there are better hotels. If they are full, this is a good alternative.
location the room was the smallest I have ever stayed in around the world and was very disappointing
That it was close to the port The internet wouldn't work because of high volume of traffic. The room and its toilet were too small.
The family atmosphere in the hotel, the friendliness of most of the staff, the variety of food items in the breakfast room and of course the fresh orange juice. The Restaurant had a big choise of dishes and the ones Ive had were very tasty Television in room needs upgrading
As a non smoker I was placed in a room which was clearly a smoking room with the room having a strong smeel of previous smoking
leaving Very poor facilities, dark and dinghy rooms, very basic bathrooms, water would go from scorching hot to freezing cold while showering, air conditioning to noisy to keep on and sleep, lock in balcony doors broken. Basically find somewhere else. Very poor value for money.
It was convenient for cruise ship terminal a (not b!!!) and ferries. The included breakfast was good value for money and a good selection. Staff were fairly helpful with directions. Sufficed for a business traveller but not particularly good value for money at all. Whilst convenient to the area I was working in, this is not a good area at night. However, if you walk through the rougher area, you will reach a busy shopping street eventually...
Close for Passanger terminal and Port Authorities Satelite TV is missing
Pleasant stay, quite place even though it is right downtown. Perhaps the A/C should be less noisy.
Room was large and clean. Neighborhood. However, we took a walk at night and it seems safe.
i liked the friendly staff and the cleaness of the rooms, also the ocupation of the hotel was excellent where its near the ferry port and the transportation to the airport or to athens. ther is no double beds in the rooms we stayed in. they were two single bed joined together where they were inconveineint.
easy access to the coast
24/24 desk, cleaness
Very friendly staff. Excellent location if you plan to take a ferry the next morning (5-10 minutes walk from departure to Western Cyclades). We had to insist to have breakfast before 7:00AM but they eventually accepted.
The friendliness + genuine helpfulness of the manager + staff. Also, the breakfast (which was delivered to our room)was the best we had in Greece! We experienced some noise during the night (sounded like doors banging repeatedly) but that was all.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, perfect location for access to the port.
Convenient location, we only stayed one night and we were able to walk with our luggage to our cruise boat in the harbour
Location, easy to find, friendly staff, welcoming.
Reception staff were particularly helpful and the standard of the room was excellent value for money. Nothing.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had a cozy balcony (small, but with 2 chairs) overlooking a little park, no big deal but ok for a late drink or a morning coffee. Very close to the major ferry harbor of Pireaus for many island destinations. Ten minute walk to the train station. Car parking was 10Euro/day but was secured in a private courtyard behind a large locked gate. The price was right.
Staff is very accommodating and it's centrally located with easy access to trains, buses, and walking distance to the port where ships leave to all destinations in the Mediterranean. Oh,this hotel has the best water pressure of anyplace we've stayed in the world!!! No free WiFi which is standard at most places and meals are purchased in advance in a package deal which in my opinion, while convenient are overpriced. Many great places to eat or grab coffe in a 2-3 block radius.
good position dirty and very old bathroom
Thank you, the staff was really helpful.
Basic but good value. V. small area around the toilet!
Location. Disappointing, dirty, expensive.
very little - air con worked restaurant closed, roof top bar closed, toilet leaked (v unpleasant)
Very friendaly staff, ready to help and inform about the city Really poor breakfast, don't worst 10 euros ...
Very Close to The Piraeus and the Staff offered to set us a Early Alarm Call
Front desk offered a map of the city and information about places to visit and eat. Very friendly. There is an elevator..a plus for those that struggle with lots of luggage.
Location - near to bus and metro connections One lift out of action (I was on 8th floor), but was being repaired while I was there. Shower did not have curtain or wall so water went evrywhere.
the only thing I liked was that the hotel was very close to the port. the rooms was very old, the bed was very uncomfortable, and some of the staff wasn´t very kind.
Location - could see the port where I was to get the boat Room very smoky, may not be a non-smoking option available however. Overall I found hotel very basic, but price was keen. Would only recommend for a very short overnight while awaiting a boat, but it is fine for that!
It has the best location as it is just across the road from the port's gate E7. It was fantastic as we had to catch a 7.10 am ferry. The room was very small. There was no shower curtain. The room smelt of cigarette although it was supposedly a non-smoking room.
Closeness to the ferry terminals Air conditioning was poor. Bed was lumpy
Located conveniently to the Piraeus port and ferries to the Greek Islands, less than 5 minute walk. Very noisy location in dirty neighborhood, shower and sink drained slowly, surly desk clerk.
closeness to the port and metro station very dirty
The staff were very helpful, the position of hotel close to the ferry port and the Metro station. Free use of the internet. Breakfast not available out of season.
Renovation work was beeing carried out and work started at 8am every day, also no hot water in room until 3rd day of stay
Great service cause of the free ride to the port if you going to the island on the next morning. Too little plug near to the table and bed... hard to charge handphone and laptop. The water pressure was not constant
it was easy to find, the hotel staff sent me an e-mail after I had confirmed the booking, we arrived late and the hotel were very helpful with finding us something to eat. Rooms were very clean and tidy.
Hotel was good for the value, clean, and close to the port at Pireaus. I would definitely recommend staying there overnight if you have plans to catch the ferries early the next morning. Hard to find. The hotel gave us directions but because there weren't any/or very few mark street signs it was hard to locate and we got turned around a lot. Once we took a cab and got our bearings it was easy to locate.
The style of the rooms was comforting and fun to stay in. We also took advantage of the bar. We didn't like not putting toilet paper into the wastebasket instead of the toilet.
close to habour and close to airportbus breakfast not inclded in price
very good first impression, staff very helpful and friendly, location good for port and airport buses.
Quiet, close to the port for onward travel.Free courtesy bus to ferry Arrived late and tired but no restaurant facility so staff very helpful in arranging to order food in for us. Option of early breakfast.Check in procedure very prompt, straightforward and courteous
The value for money!!!! And of course the cleanliness!
Close to port to get a ferry early in the morning (our primary reason for staying here)
friendly service and comfortable quite hard to find on foot from the port, perhaps a map with the booking would help
Waited for Ferry connection
Nice, friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Comfortable room. No complaints. It was a very pleasant stay.
Breakfast fried egg and bacon very good
Friendly staff. Clean and welcoming. None
convenient for the port of Piraeus, good choice at breakfast no
Nice looking room, comfortable bed and at the most I enjoyed free Internet. This is important for me. But we should not forget the breakfast - it was rally very good. Smell from drains in the toilet. Maybe too limited range of international channels in hotel TV, but this was minor inconvenience.
it was near pireaus port it is in a very bad neighboorhud without quiet
The hotel was well located and well priced. The staff was friendly, curteous and efficient. The room was rather small but comfortable.
Breakfast was good and location good for Ferry Boats Difficult to find the hotel
The room was a good size and we appreciated the studio facilities, kitchen sink, fridge etc. the hotel is in a convenient place for the Port and fish restaurants of Pireaus. The attractive cafe/taverna/ bar areas of Mikrolimano and such-like are a short taxi ride away. lack of parking facilities
It was near the harbour
The beautiful Parrot.
It was central and ideal for our needs The room was basic and reasonably clean except for the carpet which did not look as if it had been hoovered for a few weeks the shower was in need of repair and a bit grubby
Very convenient for travelling via Piraeus, especially islands reached from Gate 8, which it is opposite. No frills. Clean.
proximity to ferries and train station shower screen disgusting, bed and furniture doss house standard for the price paid 45 euros which included a pitiful breakfast - a cup of tea/coffee, bread and jam no fruit, no yoghurt
Proximity to port facilities at Piraeus, Greece
Rate charged was lower than I booked - very pleasant surprise. Couldn't turn around in the shower - too small.
We needed a hotel that was in the port of Pireas for an early departure on the ferry- we were EXACTLy where we hoped to be, and close to the metro for the evening prior (get downtown) too!
Handy for the ferries, helpful staff and friendly parrot. Very little else to like, it was functional and not luxurious. Shower was a joke, water shooting everywhere. There are early ferries, so the chance of breakfast would be appropriate.
needs tea/coffee facilities. a clock.
