Nice room, but restaurant was lacking
The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice onsite fitness center and pool. Hotel staff was pleasant and accommodating with the room request.
The service at their restaurant is severely lacking. We went for dinner at their new restaurant Jae’s and it took 45 minutes for our wine to come. At one point in the evening, it felt like the waitress forgot about us as we hadn’t seen her for almost an hour after our meals were brought out. No refills of our water or offer for another glass of wine. The food was also just okay. I ordered the General Lee’s chicken which was not crispy but rather soft and mushy. The next morning, we decided to have breakfast there before we left. You could order the buffet or from the menu. I ordered an omelet with home fries on the side, I received 4 pieces of home fried potatoes. My mother ordered the bacon, egg and cheese on an English muffin breakfast sandwich from the menu, but she was told she had to go the to buffet to toast her own English muffin. Then they would bring her the eggs, bacon and cheese and she would have to “build” her sandwich. Not to mention we never got our water after asking twice and were never offered more coffee until we had to ask for the check. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed with the service both at dinner and again in the morning at breakfast.
