Pros: What a fantastic hotel. Great location, clean, lovely rooms and great breakfast. The owners and staff are wonderful and cannot do enough for you. Lovely pool area albeit we did not use it much as there are so many lovely beaches which can easily be reached by water taxi or bus. Skiathos Town is a gem. Lovely little back streets filled with shops, bars and restaurants as well as a lovely port area packed with restaurants and bars. The hotel owners would recommend and book fantastic restaurants for us and also give recommendations on beaches and excursions. All in all a fantastic place to stay.

Pros: Great location in the middle of skiathos town, in walking distance of the harbour, lots of bars restaurants and shops and car/scooter/quad bike hire. Staff on the desk so friendly, went out of their way to help you including places to go see, to eat and what beaches to go to. They could talk to you all day about skiathos with very helpful information. Great breakfast and free water given out when sunbathing around the pool. Beach and pool towels provided too.

Pros: The owners family are the definition of helpful and hospitable! Follow their advise and your trip will be better because of it. The hotel itself has the perfect location for anybody, who wants to go out easily by foot. Restaurants, shops and small supermarkets are everywhere. The bus stop for the southern part of the island, which you need for most of the beaches, is just a 5 in walk away. The breakfast is local/continental/english and the food is very fresh and from good quality. All the plates are renewed constantly, so it doesn't matter when you go for breakfast. The service team is very attentive and kind. If you go to the beaches, you get freshly washed fluffy towels every day in a nice bag to carry, of course you can use them for the pool as well. Also the cleaning was perfectly fine. If you don't want to go out in the evening, you also can stay at the own bar "lobby" and get a snack/small dish and very nice cocktails, which reminds us of the creative cocktail creations of our hometown Berlin.

Pros: We are a family of four and we stayed at Villa Albanis for 9 nights. It was amazing! The room were big and bright and the view of the nearest "mountains" were nice to see each morning. We stayed in a very nice apartment with a small kitchenette which served us very well during our stay. The sheets were changed almost daily, and the towels on request. But the host, Stavros was one of the nicest men we got to know: friendly, always smiling, always eager to help. Thanks for the lovely stay!
Cons: The location could have been better, but the local buses can help BIG TIME reaching the most attractive places on the island.

Pros: Stavros the owner is a young and dynamic entrepreneur. He welcomed us with a big smile and escorted us to our family room. The room was fresh clean and decorated with modern taste. The residence is newly renovated and a small kitchenette helped us to prepare our morning breakfast. Highly recommend place to stay in Kolios Skiathos.

Pros: The owner, Stavros, was really friendly, met us on arrival and made us feel welcome. He told us we could contact him 24/7 and even gave us an unexpected homemade gift when we left. The apartment was modern with necessary amenities for self-catering and cleaned to a high standard on a daily basis. WiFi and air conditioning effective. The nearest beach is about a 10 minute walk away and there are bus stops at the bottom of the road if wanting to go further afield. Bar, supermarket and restaurants also close by.
Cons: The pool itself was a bit tired but the standard of the apartment and the attentiveness of Stavros made up for it.

Pros: Villa Albanis is exactly what you need for relaxing! The place is absolutely quite, but close to minimarkets and restaurants. Kolios beach is 5mins on foot and Agia Paraskevi only few mins more. The position is strategic: you can reach Skiathos town and Koukounaries in less than 10 mins by scooter or bus. The room was perfect, always clean, with all the necessary and the owner is so kind and helpful! Suggested!!

Pros: Fantastic location, we enjoyed the peacefulness of Kolios and easily able to enjoy the business of Skiathos Town which was easily accessible by bus. The Skiathos Diamond is family run, all of whom are lovely and ensure your stay is just perfect. The rooms are kept exceptionally clean, fresh linen and towels every few days too. The size of the room is generous too. The pool area is spacious and very clean. There are plenty of beds and shade if required. There is a taverna which offers a breakfast and evening meal. The food is freshly prepared and delicious. We only ate there once but that was only because there were so many other nice places to eat.

Pros: Lovely family running the hotel. Very large rooms with good sized balconies front and back. One looking onerous a very pretty Valley with fruit and olive trees sheep turkeys and birdsong. Wonderful. There are about 5 good beaches in walking distance of the hotel. Several restaurants and two pool bars nearby but not noisy. We had dinner at the hotel over half our evenings and nice good home cooking at sensible price.
Cons: There is nothing we don't like. After travelling independent to several Greek Islands for many years this hotel and island has become our favourite one. Our Thomas Cook flight was cancelled and they offered us to stay in our room and extra night even though it was officially closed. So kind.nothing was any trouble.

Pros: This immaculate family run hotel is centrally located and with the added bonus of a decent swimming pool which is a rare find in central Skiathos Town! All the facilities are of a very high standard and the bathroom is of a modern design with a great shower. The towels and linen are changed every day and the whole hotel is spotlessly clean and tidy. Stavros and Rania, together with their team made us feel very welcome and were the perfect hosts.

However we did walk to the local beach, a little up hill climb takes about 15mins but again well worth it. The host of the property cannot do enough for you. Its also very safe and secure.

Pros: The property was set is a lovely location with a private beach. Although there are spectacular beaches on the island this was perfect for our first and final days when we just wanted to relax around the hotel. The waiter service on the beach was a nice touch but make sure you put your towels out on the beds early doors or you might not get that first row umbrella! The gym and spa facilities were really nice and the hotel even offered a complimentary massage for our honeymoon which was a nice touch. I was very impressed that we were able to check into our room upon arrival (10 am) which meant we could make the most of our first day. Although we didn’t eat at the hotel in the evening, the breakfast was fantastic and varied, setting us up for the day. The lunch snack menu was also good and reasonably priced. The hotel didn’t feel overcrowded and was relatively peaceful whilst retaining a bit of life. Staff were incredibly polite and helpful organizing a boat trip, car hire and taxi without fuss. The rooms were cleaned and replenished daily. Whilst we hired a car we did take advantage of the bus stop directly outside and the water taxi which leaves from the beach - both very useful. If you want a place within 10 minutes drive from Skiathos but far enough away to escape the crowds I’d highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: Some reviews have said that this hotel feels more like a 4 star hotel as opposed to a 5 star hotel. In some respects I disagree: the facilities and location offer what you would normally expect of a 5 star hotel- we enjoyed a sea view apartment which offered amazing views. That said, the room definitely felt more like a 4 star room. Whilst it’s true that we didn’t book a premium suite, I think it’s fair to say that if you pay 5 star prices you expect a 5 star room- we were both a bit disappointed when we entered the room but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom fine. The fridge can be stocked but only upon request- all in all it was clean and comfortable but lacking the luxurious surprises that the more expensive (5 star) rooms probably offered. It was also a bit annoying to find out that the infinity pool which offers lovely views of the beach was only available to premium apartments, which just leaves you with the feeling that you’re somehow on the ‘budget package’- the same could be said for the separate breakfast room, again reserved only for premium guests- again, if you’re paying 5 star prices there really should be no restrictions for guests of a hotel.

Pros: Outstanding staff. Possibly the best service l have experienced . The hotel location is excellent and the beach access is great , such clean sea. We stayed in the suites so had access to private pool. The breakfast had a good selection and the al-a-carte restaurants food was top class (did not eat at buffet). Close to many excellent restaurants and easy bus access to the lovely town of Skiathos . We also had car hire and there was parking available at no extra cost. The rooms are spacious but the furniture is bit dated . We loved the veranda for lunch and evening drinks and coffees , nice atmosphere , quiet and relaxing

Pros: First of all, there is a great location of Aelia Studios (only 10 min walk to Koukounaries beach, 30 min walk to Banana and Mandraki beaches; some nice restaurants and supermarket 5-7 min on foot). Secondly, it's perfect choice for anyone who likes quiet and peaceful stay. Finally, the host was wonderful person! We would definitely come again.

Pros: The room was nice (beds were too hard for me), a bit outdated but with a nice patio overlooking the beautiful garden. It would be a great stay if it weren't for noisy people and childen around. I imagine June or September to be the best months for peace here. The place is great generally, near beaches and set in nature. But for people seeking complete peace, and quiet neighbours, it is not good enough. Of course, the owner is not to be blamed for this. He and his wife were great hosts. Very kind and generous. Thank you for everything.

Pros: The property is well located in walking distance on a steep hill to the beach with great taverns and to town (15-30 minutes). Bus stop is only 10 minutes away). The view is fantastic, the room was very accommodating and nice, very good bed, and quiet. Staff is really nice and friendly, good breakfast buffet and pool bar.

Cons: It wasn’t a problem for us, but it is on a high hill so be aware that if you walk down into town you will have to walk back up:) Therefore the excellent views.

Cons: Room number 1 has a balcony to the side. When sitting round the table on the balcony (with two people) one has a view on the balcony of the neighbours and one has a view on the sea, While the rooms next to us have a balcony on the front, so there is sea view for both people. If you're looking for a better view on the sea therefore take one of the other rooms.

Pros: Perfect location at the end of papadiamantis road and a very kind and helpful host. We had the chance to check in very late due to a delayed flight. After an intense problem with our toilet, they ordered immediate help and gave us another room till the problem was fixed. They even spended us a very nice dinner as an excuse, though it was'nt even their fault.
Cons: The equipment and the whole apartment was very basic (but okay for the price). What we did not like was cleanliness of the shower, it was very moldy in the corners and the showerhead extremly calcified. Some improvement of that is necessary.

Pros: We arrived at the end of the season on the 3rd of October, the hotel wasn't busy at all which was great! Staff were lovely and offered us an upgrade at check-in. We were only there for 1 night so didn't get a chance to try the restaurant but would go back if we were staying in Skiathos again.

Pros: We stayed here late September this year 2019. The hotel is beautiful with a fantastic bar & restaurant & lovely clean modern rooms. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. Every single member would allows greet you so warm & welcoming. Elena the receptionist went above & beyond to help us with anyone we needed or asked. She recommended day trips/ places to visit & things to do while on the island. She is a credit to the hotel. We would highly recommend La Piscine Art Hotel!

Pros: We had a Junior Suite with a private pool on the 4th floor. The location of the hotel is just 20 mins from Skiathos airport, we hired a car but buses are frequent. The hotel set on hillside with the most amazing views. We were welcomed by Maria on reception who was absolutely fabulous, a tour of the hotel facilities and left with a refreshing welcome drink by the main pool to take in the views. The beach is just over the main road. The walk a bit precarious but we found walking a few mins further down the road to the beach car park was a lot better. Straight onto the beach. We were half board which was hassle free. Lovely fresh breakfast. Evening meals were always a fantastic selection and themed nights of culinary delights. You don’t have to book so you can go into town for meals whenever. Our room had everything we needed. Wine, water and fresh fruit to welcome us. Clean, comfortable and cool. Air conditioning worked a treat. Fridge for water and drinks. Our room and pool/garden was cleaned everyday by a lovely housekeeper, always refreshed our towels and left my daughters pyjamas and teddy sweetly folded on her pillow everyday. Nothing was too much trouble for Maria, all the staff at the Atrium Hotel. As we had a pool of our own we did not use the main pool but it was always pristine, lovely sun loungers and beanbags around the pool. Beach bar open all day and although we did not have lunch it always smelt delicious. You are left to your own devices if you want to be but the staff are so attentive and nothing is too much trouble for them when you need them. The hotel is beautiful and clean. Lots of quiet areas to relax in. Amazing views. Friendly guests and brilliant staff. I will certainly be visiting again. We asked about availability of rooms as we left!!!
