Although I booked a single room, I was given a triple room (?!) with a balcony facing the lake. Staff are all very helpful and nice. Some staff at the restaurant cannot understand English very well, but it's still possible to communicate with them, with German or at least gestures. It's a bit far away from the bus stop at Entrance 2 (but I think not many people staying in this hotel take public transport like me).
The Location and proximity to the Lakes Rooms were tired
Little assistance given in advising guests about taking the trails around the park. No guidance. Had to buy a map from hotel shop and work it out for ourselves. Quite a mission when time is tight.
Proximity to Plitvicka Lakes National Park.
it's proximity to the national park I found some of the staff in the restaurant a litte rude
location not worth the amount of money for the room
Helpful staff and close to the national park. Rooms were comfortable. Internet access a plus. We also enjoyed the food -- nothing fancy but well prepared and nicely served at all hours.
good breakfast, great location very short walk to park entrance
The room were spacious and well equipped. The surroundings were great, Jezero National Park is wonderful.
The location was great. We just walked down to the entrance to the national park. The view of the lake was beautiful.
Spacey and clean
The location is perfect and the park is exquisite. The hotel has nice public spaces. Our air conditioning did not work properly and we could not keep the windows open because of the mosquitos (no window screens).
Its location. Fridge supplied. Need to be more environmentally frienly- ie suggest that towel only be washed when necessary. Fridge was overheating on outside- needed ventilation.
Ease of access to park, friendly and very helpful staff Rooms are reminiscent of a college dorm room.
Accommodated me excellently, checked in at 1400, and was able to store my baggage the next day. 10 minute (at most) walk from park entrance 2 bus station . Restaurant and bar in hotel. Weak WIFI .
Beautiful setting. Very good restaurant. nice staff. Clean and comfortable and very quiet. Great breakfast Heating up far too high - uncomfortable and a waste of energy
shower works well, hot water plentiful, comfortable bed. hotel difficult to find, no signs. Staff unfriendly, refused to allow us to check out one hour late. Poor use of space inside the building, odd design. No elevator. Way overpriced for this class of hotel.
great location, very close to lakes and as we travelled by bus ease and close to bus stop No
The location to the park was excellent!
The location. The reataurant was also good value. Whilt efficient, the staff were not friendly. The air conditioning did not wrk in our room, in fact it was hating, we wedre not told about this until the following morning, on the checkout. We were not offered an alternative room.
Nice setting and good location for visiting the park. The air conditioning did not work properly and made the night very unconfortable.
Location in the park, friendly staff, wonderful food, very comfortable food. We were delighted with the hotel...everything about it.
The vila is very beautiful and the room is comfortable. The staffs cannot speak much English but the body language can help. It takes about 25 minutes walk to the entrance of the National Park.
The location was only about 2 km from the main entrance to the lakes complex. The breakfast was good and the evening meal was excellent value for money. Only one other eating place nearby and not of a high standard.
It was a real family affair. Everyone was very helpful even down to doing a load of washing (muddy clothes) for us. Restful environment. Cooked an evening meal for us when we arrived late and had not ordered full board. Enjoyed our 2 nights. Thanks No internet but guess that was good allowed time out.
Good location to access Plitvice Park by car. The food was a little non plain and basic. We opted for the dinner but may have been better off at the park.
We enjoyed our stay at Villa Lika. Our hostess was very warm and helpful and the location was excellent for our visit to Plitvice Lakes. The room was clean and breakfast was delicious.
Very convenient to visit the national park (walkable) and the staff was very skilled for hospitality. Highly recommend!
no arrangement room during staying
It was close to the park and clean. We booked a room for 4(2 adults and two kids) and were given a "family room" It had one large bed. My son was exploring the furniture and discovered that the chair folded out into a bed, which is good because the bed was far too small for all 4 of us. We were not given bedding for it.
The staff was excellent, location perfect and very clean the shower drian did not drain well.
as described, the hotel was no frills, but the real star here is the park so you won't be in the room much anyway. The included breakfast was very hearty, and you will need it for the walking! the room was clean, and the water pressure would peel paint! no internet, but free wifi in the Hotel Plitvice across the drive.
The position, the environment. Not many rooms with "bellevue"
convenient location, close to the piers and stations
clean and comfortable. Good food available.
the location, walking distance from bus stop and to the park no restaurant in hotel
Excellent location The sheets were too small for the beds!!
location and good breakfast. staff was helpful sheets too short. restaurant choices limited.
We were allowed to check in early. The room had a nice balcony to enjoy the scenery. Excellent included breakfast.
Could hear the sounds of the waterfall, and was a very quiet environment. Of course the location is excellent for early starts. You could use the internet at Hotel Plitvice if you dont carry a laptop yourself. quite expensive considering the small size and outdated decor of the rooms.
Excellent location, great breakfast
We were dropped off by the bus in the town of Mukinje and called the owners of the hotel to find our way. They came and picked us up right away. They also drove us to the park entrance in the morning. Breakfast was good and dinner was delicious.
The hotel staff were very accomodating and drove us several times to the Plitvice National Park entrance a few kilometers away. Also, they made sandwiches for us to take with us from the left over food from our dinner the previous night. One thing that the staff could inform their guests who arrive without cars is that there is trail leading from behind Hotel Bellvue in Plitvice National Park to a small village about 300 meters from Ethno House (the name of this village bggins with M). This trail runs parallel to the very busy main road and avoids having to walk along this busy road to reach Ethno House.
The hosts are fantastic. Every guest was raving about the service and meals.
Honest and anxious to please and to help, Owner drove out to locate us and show us the way, even though in the middle of serving meals Room was very basic, net curtains only, so could not keep out the light, No where to be able to sit other than meal area. Meals of limited choice
Their food (fish:trout) that they cooked was beyond excellent. You cannot pay by credit card
Villa Plitvicka is a beautiful B&B. Clean and comfortable, friendly staff, it has a log cabin feel, close to the Plitvice Lakes, Breakfast was more than enough, free internet. I wish I could have stayed longer. It was perfect.
Good location, friendly owner. Mattress is very uncomfortable: old-school soviet springs yield backpain. Breakfast is very poor. I've never seen before such thin slices of ham and cheese - 0.5 mm! 2 slices per person. Instant coffee. Orange nectar instead of juice.
Functional room and bathroom, close to the Plitvice np. Breakfast a bit meager, tough ok.
Good location for National Park. Booking was intended to include evening meal. The hotel had no restaurant. Could not and never had been provided. Had to look elsewhere for this service.
Clean and owner was friendly Rooms not acceptable. You could see my bed through a window from corridor
The fact that the owner accepts to change our room (room 4) after the first night of staying, the quiet of this area and the existence of very good parking places. The room 4 is rent only to make money and is an offense for the tourists that are coming there. The windows are in fact skylights and are opening in a kind of hall. In this room you do not have fresh air and natural light.
Fifteen minutes walking away from the park entrance, through a nice forest. There was a temporary problem with water supply in the morning.
Host/staff are friendly and helpful; breakfast arrangement good; accommodation average.
It was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Did not have tea and coffee making facilities in the room or the hotel. Had to go across the road to the local cafe for hot drinks and meals which was inconvenient.
The quiet and beautifull environment. In the small room with smal towel without any handsoup and TV.
The house is pretty with lots of flowers. Rooms are small but clean. If you go the lake by car, the location of this hotel is very good. breakfast is a little bit disapointing.
staff is nice, close to the plitvickie jezera breakfest was quite poor,, the room was clean but tiny like for 3 person, price too high for this condition
We loved everything!! The family was so helpful and kind. The villa was wonderful and we had an amazing view of the sea from our balcony! It was just what we were looking for - quiet beauty, amazing private lagoon swimming, and relaxation. We can't wait to recommend this villa!
The building was neat, clean and tidy; the decor was good and the finishes excellent. Outside the building was decked with flowers and the setting in a National Heritage park hard to beat. Access by car was excellent. The room was good and efficient but extremely small. Clever use of space in the bathroom - a bit too clever.
The lady in charge was extremely helpful. The Villa looked beautful and well kept Location was bit far from Gate 2 and the Villas should pool and keep local transport available for guests
Location (very close to Plitvice park entrance); Breakfast is very poor. We had to pay in cash without notification (no cards accepted).
Location was nice, the enterance 2 to the national park was close. The rooms were not big, but clean and comfortable. Would come back here again.
I liked the friendly staff and the quiteness of the location There is no TV in the rooms; the only one is in the breakfast room and unfortuntaly it loses signal very often. The brekfast was very poor with no variety.
The vila was center of village. So it was very convenienced for approaching to market and bus stop. Hostess was also very kind and gave a lot of information for Plitvice. The room was clean, cozy and comfortable. People of next room were little bit noisy and the room has smoking smell.
The place is conveniently located less than 2 mins drive from the Plitvice Park. Boro speaks English and provided all the help and information we needed to accommodate us and tell us about the park. You can eat at the house if needed that's what we did as we arrived late, he was there to greet us and get some warm food ready. There is also wifi. Globally a friendly house with a friendly host.
House Boro was very comfortable, the service was excellent and the food delicious. We came to this area to visit Plitvice Lakes National Park, like most people I suspect, and the location was convenient for us. We had not intended to have dinner, but the food was local and it was excellent!
The dinner and breakfast are great with plenty of good local food. This was the reason we chose the hotel and the food did not disappoint and it was worth the extra price we paid for the room as it was a bit more expensive than other similar lodging in the area. Overall, the experience was exactly what we expected. A clean and simple room with great food close to the lakes. You could hear plumbing from the room upstairs.
The helpfulness of the owner; personal interest/attention of staff
The warmth of the staff
The staff were very helpful and attentive and the property had a comfortable homely atmosphere Limited, repetitive food selection. Beware of hidden costs - only divulged at last minute with no prior information and no invoice or receipt provided. Owner accepts cash only - no card or other means of payment accepted. Property is not ideally suited to visitors with no car and the main hotels offer a better location.
Nice quiet place near Plitvice Lakes. Good road from Zagreb.
The relaxed atmosphere, the amazing amount of food for the evening meal, the dvd of the lakes and on the day it rained, information on where to go and the rain coats they provided. The tea and coffee at breakfast was never really hot.
The staff was very nice and helpful. They picked us up from the bus stop after midnight and even made us a snack that night. The food was great too!
The room was correct and Helena was very nice person and gave us all informations and itinerary to visit the lakes . Her advise was greatly appreciated. The diner was very good - good quality-price .However the atmosphere was cold and the owner didn't care much about his guests.
Family was very nice and meals were fresh & tasty. It was a bit hard to find since we arrived after dark.
the prices are very high, there is no tv and air condition in our room and the weather is really cold, on the other hand there is a terrible toilet smell in room
friendly the weather
The owner lady was very kind. Only Croatian and German speaking no English... German is also not very good, but sufficient for basic communication.
Near to the Plitvice lakes Not easy to find
location is perfect, walking distance to entrance 1 (the more beautiful part of plitvice lake) and the best restaurant in town (opposite to ent 1). the owner is very nice (though don't speak much english), breakfast is good too, room is good and tidy enough for sobe.
This is a guest house which was easy to find by car. Traditional Croatian home with basic facilities. Ok for one night. The host was nice and despite her poor English, she a good effort to make us feel at home.
hosts are exceptional, behaved very well with us, we felt like home. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the house is situated in nature from 1 km to the entrance No 2 in lakes - can complete the route on foot. we felt very good. I do not regret your choice.
Friendly owner, the B&B is close to the National Park
House Samardzic was just renovated and chalet-lodge decor in light wood result is attractive and pleasant; dining area space rising to a peaked roof and flanked by railing along open second floor loft. Our room was spacious, modern, well-outfitted, clean, good mattress, good hot water bathroom. Hostess Verica friendly and attentive, speaks English marginally (son speaks English), but not a problem for our needs. She offered a superior breakfast every morning: hot milk for freshly made coffee, breads, cheeses, jellies, cold meats, cereals, cookies, fresh fruit). Husband considerately drove us once to a supermarket, and when we left to bus shelter at entrance 2. There's a slight disadvantage (esp for bus travelers) in that it's 2 km from park entrance; a 15-20 minute walk on woodland path. But the hospitality and ambiance offset that.
rustic atmosphere, kindness of hosts. web didn't specify distance from park, said it was inside the aprk =wrong! luckily we had a car to get to the park. what do you do in case of depending on other transportation?
Mrs Samardzic was really gentle and always willing to help. We don't know if in this kind of hotels is usual but we though they were going to arrange the room (make beds. new towells...)
Very friendly people. Definitely a good choice!
The owner of House Samardzic are very nice, offer extra service to guests. The family was very friendly & nice to us. They even helped us do the laundry & drive us to the Plitvice Lakes entrance.
The owners are very warm people. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was excelent. I enjoyed my stay there allot.
Just lovely. Very nice room, breakfast was more than filling to give us energy to see the parks. Very helpful family, easy to navigate from bus stop. They even drove us to park entrance. Felt like we were staying at home. Nothing to dislike about this.
The family was just lovely. They were full of great advice and suggestions. The husband took us to the park enterance both days and pick us up. The atomsphere was fantastic. Breakfast was also very good.
They moved us to another renter of rooms, nice people but poor facility, therefore we didn't stay there more than one night. size of the room, the hight of the miror in the bath room & bath room facilities
Very close to the park entrance, a lovely place to stay.
Room space, location, silence, breakfast. The best matress of 6 hotels we stayed this vacation! Breakfast starts too late - 8:00am.
The b and b was good, the breakfast was big and tasty. The people were friendly and picked up us from the bus station without request. The hot water heater was terrible.
I stayed at Villa Dada house for one night in September. It is a very nice family-run b&b, has a very friendly landlady, who makes a killer breakfast (this was by far the best breakfast I have had during my years as a b&b visitor). Room was clean and comfortable enough, all seems newly renovated. Wi-Fi is for free and was working all the time. Weather in late September can be a bit moody.
The room is clean, tidy, comfortable and clean. The landlady, Borjana is very kind to let us use the kitchen to prepare the dinner. The house is close to the Mukinj stop. It takes only 20 minutes walking to the entrance 2 of the Plitvice Lakes National Park. Nothing
Clean house and room, very obliging owner, satellite TV with many many channels The room was smaller than normal especially the tiny bathroom. The location was a long way from the MAIN entrance to Plitvica lakes nat park, own transport would be essential.Only instant coffee avail at breakfast.Room would be quite hot in summer,no fan
The guesthouse was very suitable for a night stay while visiting the Plitivice National Park. It was handy and as we had no vehicle the owners were very good picking us up and returning us to the bus stop. Recommend this to friends and family wanting to visit the area.
It is a nice house with only 5 rooms for guest and it is very quiet to have a good relax far from motorway. It is not very far from entry of park and it is good if you have a car to parking near the house. The family is very friendly and they are ready to help you if you need something in every times. In the morning the breakfast is very good and Miss Kajfes offer also madehouse marmelade more over a rich continental breakfast. The rooms are new and very clean but the bathroom is small.
Everyone there were sincerely nice, though some cannot communicate in English. The owner is willing to share their family kitchen. The bathroom should have the separate dry and wet area. There was flooding after showering.
Very clean rooms, easy to reach the entrance of Plitvice. The rooms a little bit small, but for 1-2 days staying is ok.
both the cleanliness of the room and the breakfast are excellent. Also the location is perfect.
