Pros: Kate was a lovely hostess. The room was small but well equipped. She provided a lovely breakfast and had good suggestions for things to do. Overall a good stay.

Pros: The hotel and reception/restaurants are aesthetically very pleasing The beds were comfortable, Dinner restaurant food was good.

Balmacara Hotel is a great choice for a stay in Balmacara. Guests looking for a bite to eat can check out the restaurant, and the 2 bars/lounges are nice spots to grab a drink at the end of the day.
Cons: The carpet on the landing and stairs was threadbare with many holes in it.
Cons: Whole place in urgent need of upgrade. Not what was expected for the money paid.
