Be very careful and aware when dealing with the sales agents as they will constantly try to upsell you and squeeze more money out of you. My flight was cancelled and rebooked for the following day and they "gave out" my rental car to someone else and only had more expensive models for me to pay an additional cost for eventhough my booking was for 2 weeks and I was less than 24 hours late... The sales agent said for an extra 30 euros they will add GPS navigation into the car and when I declined the car came standard with GPS navigation anyways so they were trying to get more money out of me without actually adding in any features. Price and car were fair, but be careful of their scummy techniques they use here as they will try to trick you.

I had made the reservation expecting to pay around €230, when I arrived, they told me I either had to pay €27/day for insurance or put down a €3000 deposit!! Which is just an insane amount. So I had to choose the insurance so I paid €490 instead of the expected €230, it really screwed up my budget for the trip and was a very unpleasant surprise…

One of the worst experiences with a car renting. Long line, each client takes about 20 min. But it's only the beginning. After you get the documents, you need to receive the car itself. No Budget representatives were found where I have been told to look for them. After another 15 min running around trying to find the guy, I finally found one who told that my car is not yet ready and I have to wait another 1/2 hour to get it. The car itself with 52k km, dents and scratches everywhere including the roof and the hood. Took picture of every dent and scratch to make sure I won't be charged later. The documents stated that the tank is half empty, but in reality it was almost empty, once I left the airport, the warning about empty tank has shown up.

Everything was horrible. The price was not honored. My Reservation was cancelled without my knowledge. I ended up spending an additional $1200 Dollars to get a car due to no good information from Renting from AVIS thru Kayak

Pros:

The car was ok (but still not too clean inside), all other things were not ok.

Cons:

They force you to pay an insurance which is twice more than the car price and if you don't want that, they say you must give them 10 000 euro deposit, which is impossible for a normal person. Stay away from them! The main guy who works there is unfriendly and they don't clean too much inside the car (we had some kind of two weeks coffee something all over the car).

beautiful country, wish I could have driven around more.

Cons:

upon arrival to pick up my car I found that the price was increased to 2.5 times the quote. The vehicle provided was in rough mechanical shape with a transmission that surged and breaks that squealed and ground when used. Due to the shape of the vehicle I was not able to travel but just stayed in the hotel for the week. It was not a good experience.

WATCH OUT! They purposely set you up if you don't buy their insurance. I booked online and also purchased insurance at the time. When I got to Podgorica to pick up the car the guy kept pushing and pushing to get their insurance and warned me that I could face charges because it happens quite frequently. I should have known then he was setting me up. When we inspected the car I pointed out several scratches on it and he just said "No Problem, No Problem." He also never said anything about a law there that if it snows and you do not have "winter tires" you can be given a ticket by police even if there is just snow on the side of the road. When I brought the car back, he accused me of having put scratches on the car and even said (and I quote) that there was a scratch on the undercarriage that he was going to charge me for. Seriously, when have you ever heard of this. What's next, getting charged for a scratch on the fuel tank underneath the car? The interesting thing is when we did the inspection, he never once looked at the under carriage. The car was an Opel and had over 125,000 kilometers on it. It had rust and other scratches all over it. He said he would be charging 1000 euros for the scratches. Be careful.

The car did not break down

Cons:

The representative at the front desk spoke minimal English, and made the rental cost more than 2x more than the quoted price. The car was provided with the gas light being on. There was no windsheild washer fluid. The worst part was that after charging an extra "snow tires and chains" fee, the car only had winter tires on the front. The rear were pure summer tires, and this proved to be very dangerous on mountain passes, amd not legal with the places where we told them we were going. After returning the car, we were hit with a cleaning fee from the same guy who took the car to their compound prior to showing us why the fee was charged. Extremely unprofessional service.

This was a scam. Deceptive marketing with hidden fees and predatory practices on the consumer. I canceled reservation onsite , didn’t take the car and will never use them or affiliate rental companies. I will never recommend them.

Online your able to pay with an American Express Card. When you get there after a long flight and a a long drive from Mimai Airport to get there....they tell you we do not accept American Express cards. Mr and two other customers went through the same thing...there was a lot of upset people in the same boat...yelling, arguing. I will never use them again! Stop accepting American Express online for carwiz!

They didn’t have a car reserved for me on arrival, and tried to charge a walk up rate. In the end, I lost the prepaid portion of my rental, sat in the coffee shop opposite and booked online with Avis (for cheaper than what they wanted to charge me). Really disappointed.

They had way too many hidden charges that more than doubled the cost of rental. First, my car wasn't available, so I had to pay extra to upgrade. The gas tank was at 7/8 when I picked up the car, and when I returned at the same level, they charged 60 euro to refill 1/8 of tank. There's also a 36 euro charge on my credit card that I never got a receipt for. I will not rent from them again

I came to pick up the car and nobody was in the office so I had to wait for them to reach and got the car late. Also, I asked for some extra to be deducted from the deposit but they made a mistake and I had to pay it separately. They did give me an upgrade because they were late but I just end up spending more gas because I got bigger car..

Had to return the first car like the front was gonna fall off exchange it. The next day upgrade was not much better. Told the attendant that I would bring it back on Tuesday, April 30 by 9 AM the original contract was for 22 April through 29 April and again I told the attendant that my flight was on the 30th so I have a receipt showing that and now they’re trying to charge me for an extra day so I probably would never do business with priceless again thank you

The facility was dingy and the pick up and drop off processes were over complicated and extremely slow. My experience was fine but at least a third of the other customers ahead of me had issues with their reservation. The car itself was fine and the price was good, but I feel like I won a lottery of sorts and I don't think I'll choose them again.

The car was dirty when we picked it up. It only had a single floor mat il and it was in the back. It was missing a hubcap and had body damage to the right rear. The final price was much higher than was quoted. The listing said that the car was "in terminal" but it was not it required a shuttle ride. Overall experience was poor. I would rather have a bus pass than rent from these people again.

Cons:

Drop off seemed like a scam. When I picked up the car, they assured me it was no problem to dropoff early, just put the keys under the window When I actually dropped it off, someone was claimed there was an early return fee of "€35" -- eventually he agreed to give me a "discount" of €10, cash only.

Pros:

There was very little, which is being generous, to like about this car or our rental experience with Hertz.

Cons:

We waited for over an hour, past our scheduled pick up time, for the car as Hertz said the car we asked for was not back. We were then given an obviously "spare" car that was an automatic rather than the manual that we had booked. It was to coin a phrase "battle worn" with not a single panel un-dented or scratched (including the roof) outside and shabby missing trim inside. It should have been consigned to the car rental scrap heap several thousand kilometres before we had the misfortune of being charged +€350 for it. It was only that there appeared no alternative any time in the foreseeable future that we accepted this dog of a car but would not be rushing back.
