Poor customer service
Pros: The car itself was great, very clean, comfortable, and new.
Cons: The service was appalling. I went to the Budget at 333 Adams St in Brooklyn, and there was one guy in training helping about 5 customers. He was distracted with the phones and fax, so it took ages to get the car. Then, knowing I was stuck in traffic and wouldn't be able to return the car on time, I tried calling to extend my rental and got automated messages throughout, no real person, no ability to ask the cost of extending a rental. When I finally got through to a receptionist she was unhelpful in providing me with alternatives, and I ended up getting charged for an entire additional day because I had to return the car an hour after the location closed due to traffic. Very disappointing experience overall.
