The Asian girl at the front desk was unrespectful, she never responds to the salute and in the hiring process, she tried to bully me about my English understanding and speaking. When they will deliver the car to you, they may record a video with the current status of the car, but she recorded a video with faster movements that don't show anything and I had to ask another attendant (a Brazilian girl) to take pictures of the car scratches. The car is a bit old and with balancing and alignment problems, which makes me feel that the rental was very expensive and I would prefer to rent a car at the airport, for the same price and I'm pretty sure that the car is newer than this. I don't recommend this site.

When I tried to adjust the timing of my rental, I was told the only way to do so was by cancelling and rebooking my car. When I did that, my rate doubled. Additionally, I didn’t know until I picked the car up that my booking was actually with Drivo instead of Ace. They then couldn’t find mind reservation - when they finally did, I was told it had been cancelled. Luckily they still had a car and created a new reservation for me, and gave me a discount for the trouble. But that was about the only good part of the experience. Then I was told they did not offer liability insurance, which seemed a bit shady to me but it was the day before Christmas Eve and I needed a car, so I begrudgingly said yes. Everything was squared away, I had the car and I drove away. I only made it a few miles away before I pulled over to let them know I was bringing the car back. The car would not stop rattling and squealing. They were definitely upset when I brought the car back and insisted on a full refund/termination of the reservation, but it was too many issues piled on top of each other.

They are located in a parking lot, I arrived before employees. The employees seem to use cars to commute to work. Watched employee arrive in the same car they rented me. Car was filthy, stains all over every seat, dried coffee in cup holder, left over receipts in cup holder. No one sanitized or bothered to clean anything, like hello covid! I stopped at Walgreens and bought Lysol wipes to clean inside of car. Luckily during pickup The parking lot attendant was sure to take photos as I pointed out all the damage, so much minor damage, scratches, cracked taillight, small dents. During return drop off there were 3 employees, one much more interested in his game on his phone, the other greeted me and the final seemed upset I was dropping off. He rushed past me , no greeting, no words, went to car I dropped off and said there’s damage to the car but the employee that greeted me stopped him before he could continue and said they found photos of all damage on their system. He looked disappointed. So if your renting from here, please bring Lysol wipes, inspect and take detailed photos of everything and don’t expect curtesy.

Only had a half tank at pick up. Alignment and steering was off on vehicle. Drop off was difficult to get to by GPS. Shuttle was not direct to terminal and they did not inform me of this at customer service desk.

The rental process was and easy. Staff was very friendly and useful. Location amazing and easy to find. Would definitely rent from them again.

Super long line. Contract agreed to after long wait and long explaination was not what was billed. It was a bait and switch on some line items. Overcharged by $100.

I like that they fixed the problem when i arrived to the closed location with no vehicle. I Drivo representative found me a car at JFK location but it was a big set back for my road trip. Overall i was thankful to still get a car last min for my family trip and i still got the same rate which was good.Being advise before hand it would have save me a lot of time and less run around if i new the coney island location was closed. But all in all it worked out.

NothingI had a sketchy feeling about booking this through Kayak (it was way cheaper than other providers in the same area) so I called ACE Rent a Car directly and they told me that this location is completely out of business... thank God I called before I showed up there. I don't think I would ever book a car rental through a service like Kayak again if they aren't aware of what locations are out of business ... I ended up booking directly with a different rental company so I didn't have to worry
