Pros: He property and room were amazing and staff were incredibly friendly and professional
Pros: The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the restaurant is very good. The hotel provides free canoes to take out on the lake.
Cons: Hard to find a anything to dislike about this property!
Pros: The staff was phenomenal! Made my stay so great.
Cons: There was limited parking, and a little confusing to find the reception from parking
Pros: Staff were outstanding, excellent location on the lake. Breakfast was best value for money- delicious. Looking forward to staying again.
Cons: Wish there was a doggie beach area just adjacent to the main beach.
Pros: The brightness of the place’ the location and staff. It is a beautiful view of Lake Joseph and a peaceful calm setting.
Cons: I was disappointed the lounge chairs and sofa were moved to the corner and the fireplace was not on nor accessible. This is one of the many things that makes Sherwood Inn special and what I come for yearly and that is the ‘ lodge feeling’ of a common room sharing stories with guests. Otherwise it disconnects the experience.
Pros: Lovely setting
Cons: Decor a little dated
Pros: Beds are comfortable. View is nice! Food is great. Felt really relaxed here. We will be back :)
Cons: Get an indoor pool :D
Pros: Comfy bed!
Cons: Lumpy pillows
Cons: Not enough supplies in the room, no tea or enough coffee

Pros: Got a lake view 2 bedroom suite, which was amazing. Room was clean and spacious and the beds were very comfortable. All the staff from reception, to housekeeping, to wait staff to the activities team were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was even able to provide some surprises as we went to celebrate a special occasion. Would definitely recommend this property and would love to return one day.
Pros: The facilities and the rooms are lovely.
Cons: Staff are very inexperienced and the service is extremely slow. Prices are ridiculously high in all the restaurants. We rented Segways and the staff at the waterfront didn't know where to sent us - gave us the wrong documentation to sign and we were brought back from our ride 15 minutes earlier. Also, the Segways are very old and need to be updated.
Pros: Meals were wonderful. Atmosphere.
Cons: You need a gift shop much larger than the one you have, perhaps selling clothing items.
Pros: The room is spacious and quiet. The location is beautiful. The staff is friendly.
Pros: apart from the location and unfortunate little in terms of activities to do for kids by the time we got there, the friendly and helpful staff (especially the concierge) , the more than comfortable room (sofa bed aside) with sufficient amenities ensured that our short stay was one that the kids enjoyed and will look forward to for next time.
Cons: sofa bed should change; uncomfortable and small. the spa should have longer hours and be more accommodating of incoming guests with short stays.
Cons: Majority of the staff had huge language barrier
Pros: Location. The location could not be beat. It was beautiful. The hotel is very nice. We upgraded to a balcony water view and it was very nice. The food was below average with better food being in teca and the chophouse. The buffet was very poor
Cons: The staff was unorderly. Very young and some unprofessional. For the money you pay your hoping service to be equivalent to a high end resort. It sadly is not
Pros: Our room was upgraded upon arrival, which was amazing! They had a birthday banner, bottle of wine and fruit platter waiting for us in our room as we were their celebrating my birthday. Totally went above and beyond. We will be returning in October!
Pros: The views, amenities, and restaurant options
Cons: I wish they had the outside patio better lit at night. It was too dark to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine, we had to go inside.
Pros: The location and pool and beach
Cons: Old beds and mattresses
Cons: Way to costly for food staff didn’t speak English very well didn’t understand what you want food was very poor quality and poor selection was cold
Pros: Gorgeous location
Cons: The food in the Italian Restaurant was terrible. The food and beverage overall was a big disappointment.

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Planning an event in Muskoka Lakes? This resort has facilities measuring 2000 square feet (186 square meters), including conference space. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The view of lake rosseau. Amazing golf course right next door. Very nice rooms. Great restaurant staff.
Cons: Some of the staff at front desk(specifically the first night) seemed a bit incompetent.
Pros: The location
Cons: The warmth? No fireplace or any special places to sit. Felt it was like a hotel in the city. Missing its small charm
Pros: Super comfy bed, beautiful bathroom and we appreciated the size of the fridge.
Cons: N/A we loved it all!
Pros: Just about everything
Cons: Pool surround could have been better maintained (just being picky though)
Pros: The property and comfortable bed.
Cons: We paid for a garden room and got a view of a road and a power line. When I asked about it the man at the front counter was SO absolutely aggressively rude I just walked away.
Pros: Location is pretty awesome.
Cons: Had to change our room.we had a great view of the air conditioning units.paid extra to get lake view did not get a balcony.they told us none were available yet hotel was almost empty.shower had no pressure,tv did not work the 2 days we stayed there.breakfast was mediocre eggs, bacon, sausage were cold.
Located in Muskoka Lakes (Parry Sound District), The Baldwins Resort is within a 5-minute walk of Windermere Golf & Country Club and Windermere Marina. Featured amenities include luggage storage, a library, and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: This is a great location and the staff were gracious and welcoming. Great play area for children.
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful, thank you Sherlie
Pros: Staff was excellent. Very clean and access to the lake was easy and so close.
Pros: Very quiet. Clean enough. Decent buffet breakfast well attended by staff.
Cons: Room needed an update, particularly the bathroom. The Venetian blinds were off the windows next to the door. The blind on the door was damaged. The mattress was not very good.
Pros: Exceptional customer service, A++ location, great indoor and outdoor activities and facilities, cozy comfortable rooms, breakfast was excellent, the staff went out of their way to make your stay memorable and most of all, it is extremely pet friendly and thats why, we are going to be back soon.
Pros: The breakfast was amazing, and the staff were very welcoming.
Pros: Casual atmosphere. Beds very comfortable
Cons: There is a smell like old carpeting or the place not aired out. The outdoors could be kept a little cleaner.
Cons: Poor value for money. $180 + tax should come with a couple of glasses in the room. No glasses, no mugs, nothing in the room to drink water with. Small uncomfortable room, with bare minimum furnishings in what is obviously a very old property in desperate need of an update. The surrounding area is naturally beautiful, thus the appeal for lots of folks.
Pros: Our room was great as we could sit outside and enjoy a drink on the deck as it was a beautiful hot day.
Cons: We had no hot water in the morning so we had no shower.
Pros: The pool was out of order but we received a 25 percent rebate.
Pros: You can’t beat the location. It’s a rustic, old world approach to cottage holidays unlike the sprawling mansions dotted around the area. Simplicity and enjoying the location are the main focus here. The owners are fantastic people and very accommodating. Water area is flat and shallow for quite a way, so ideal for families with kids.
Cons: Some cottages are a bit cramped for space. WiFi not great but it’s the area which is about to be upgraded to Fibre so that should solve that.
With a stay at Clevelands House Resort Muskoka in Muskoka Lakes (Parry Sound District), you'll be steps from Georgian Bay and Lake Rosseau. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great location
Cons: Coffee maker didn't work.
Pros: Amazing location, cottages very rustic. Eating pizza at Pie while overlooking the lake you will struggle to beat anywhere.
Cons: The amenities need updating.. 9 hole golf course is not taken care of, pool is closed due to damage, tennis courts are cracked etc! Basically anything sports related is not in good shape.
Pros: Beach - water slides and other activities Facilities for the kids Water skiing and other water sports Easy to walk around the facilities
Cons: Geese on the beach - fouling and disgusting especially for young children in bare feet Pool are ripped up and front break wall - hoping that will be repaired Lack of staff training- some tendency to be a little lazy and too laid back
Pros: Great staff and shuttle service. Big room, good water pressure. Love the landscaping. Quiet
Cons: The tennis courts are neglected and run down - they are using 2 courts for parking! This hotel had 14 courts and would make an amazing tennis facility for the community but it looks like they have given up - really sad as I thought they would be in better shape. The whole resort needs and injection of capital as you can see it was once vibrant but now many building are not in use and it is depressing.
Cons: Noise and the room plus the TV did not work no channels no cable
Pros: Great location on Lake Rousseau. Very scenic views. Nice walk to the coffee shop along the dock over the pond. We really enjoyed the waterski show. We had a great dinner at the restaurant.
Cons: The toilet wouldn't flush without taking off the back of the tank. It seemed like we were running out of hot water or it had to be left on a long time before the hot water would come through.
Pros: I liked the lake and I enjoyed Jimmy Williams music performance.
Cons: The place was decrepit and run down and unkept. The beds were sloppily made with sheets that were too small and did not fit. The grounds were full of weeds and pools were broken down and tennis courts did not even have nets and they had grass and weeds bursting through cracks. It needs some serious attention and repairs. We booked a place with a pool and we were so dissapointed when we drove up to see the poor condition of the place we booked for our Holliday weekend.
Pros: Location was good
Cons: Staff wasn’t helpful with getting an earlier check in. Facilities are old and dated, there are absolutely no lights throughout the property (can’t walk around at night). Bathroom wasn’t clean. I didn’t feel safe.
Pros: We liked the view from our room, the beds were clean and comfy, the staff friendly and solicitous.
Cons: Not enough power sockets, hard to get to the existing ones. One more chair in the room would have helped.
Cons: I couldn't stay longer, i wanted to stay 2 more days , everything was booked
