The hotel was spacious, comfortable, fully equipped, with a delicious breakfast in a sunny room overlooking the whole city rooftops. Perfect for the travellor who needs to unwind quietly after a busy day.
The staff of this hotel were really friendly and helpful, the room was very spacious and the position of the hotel very central
Good breakfast, in a room with a nice view over poznan. Friendly staff, Excellent apartment, good parking underground.
Its was very modern and clean. Very nice stile and quite. Good space and very good breakfast. I travel very much, and this is one of the best hotels. Maybe miss a bar or so in the reception area, but not very big miss, since the city just outside the door. But thats the only miss, some area with sofa to meet people at the hotel.
location bang in centre excellent buffet breakfast perfict for city break very friendly staff nothing to much trouble i will stay again not a problem for me but if are are not used to traffic noise this could be disturbing. trams from 6.30am -11.30 pm every few mins. and hotel opposite hospital amberlances blues and twos almost none stop. but after all its a brill city centre location this is expected.if you want quite go outside city
Ideally situated for the main city centre and a short taxi journey to the airport. I have stayed at this hotel on two occasions now.
I liked the staff I met there. I was in love of paulina and olla and if I were gay, I will get married with roman but unfortunately im not by now. :-) Yesssss!!!!!! Paulina is going to get married on may and olla has italian boyfriend. No single girls in the reception
Location, price. Some of apartaments r not renovate. I had 2 change one for this after renovation and only this one I recommend. There's no shower in bathroom only a little bathtub :(
Walking distance to the Old Town Square and other amenities. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and provided a good start to the day. One of the lifts was out of order briefly.
Excellent room, modern and clean. Very central location in Poznan. Friendly staff. No complaints - it was a first class hotel
the peace and quiet no kettle in the room
Central location, professional service
location, cleanliness, the staff were always willing to help with questions and ringing taxis etc, breakfast is served unyil 11 so we didnt have to get out of bed too early.
Good breakfast, nice big bathroom, mostly very helpful staff (there is always one bad egg...) Double bed was not really a double but two singles put together, and when a different room was arranged it was the same. in the end we didn't mind too much...
Good Location : We can visit several sight seeing spots ( Square of Old Town, many theatres, museums, and agreeable parcs, etc. ) from this hotel, about 2 - 10 minutes by walk to go there. Though it's far from rail station ( Poznan Glowny ) by walk : at least about 20 minits, but we can go nearby this hotel easily by Tram no.5, about 10 minites. Staff : Very good receptionists. They are all kindhearted and did there job quickly, smoothly. Room : Very large and confortable ! Big bathtub and king sise bed, with separate living room. A littre worried about ... It hasn't safe box for valuables in the guest room. (But reliable receptionist keeps them at the reception, so may be not need to be worried)
Central, clean and reasonable Desk staff quite officious
The location was perfect for our visit. Ideally situated for the old town square which is where we wanted to be. Bar did not appear to be open at night for a drink when we arrived I know it was 10pm but would have thought it would have still been open, there was not mention of the restaurant either
I liked my room and the services of the Hotel. The breakfast was also very nice. Mainly all staff was nice too.
Location is excellent. There was no air condition in the room and it was impossible to sleep. The room faced the street and it was noisy and hot.
As the majority of restaurants and activity takes place around the old market square this hotel was perfectly located to the square. The room itself was as advertised on the internet in terms of space and the facilities such as the buffet breakfast were good given the price paid for the room. No hairdryer in the bedroom, I understand they possibly had previous issues with the two pin problem but nowadays most travellers are equipped with such gadgets and to specifically not allow them in the listing for the room (razors only) was disappointing, however, the Hotel did accommodate us when we requested one at Reception but all other friends staying in nearby hotels all had such a facility in their room.
The hotel was quite nice, comfortable and clean. Quite good quality for the money and 3 star standard. We also liked the quiet location - yet in walking distance from the center and most of the sights. No airconditioning - not good in the summer...makes the rooms a bit stuffy.
Staff very helpful area is noisey. Need to keep windows shut. There is no air conditioning
Friendlieness and helpful attitude of the reception staff Lack of tea or coffeee making facilities in room and poor surroundings, almost as if it had been built in a post blitz area.
central location, style of hotel, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast - overall, we were delighted with it an electronic room safe would be helpful and a fan for very hot weather
Parking at the hotel, excellent breakfast, great location, courteous and nice hotel staff Rooms are small, lack of any English language TV stations, Noise from trams at night and very early morning, immediate vicinity to hotel is dumpy
the friendly staff very helpful beautifuly clean comfy beds nice breakfast
ood location for exploring, only about 20 minutes by tram from the train station. A good hotel.
Very pleasant stay. Great location. Limited on site parking.
Excellent location, well equipped rooms (did not need to use hairdryer!). Superb reception staff, good hearty and traditional Polish breakfast. Secure parking available. Easy walk to the Rynek. A good hotel for exploring this fabulous city! Shower water pressure was only adequate (room 21). Cupborads had not been cleaned/emptied since the last guest
The character of the hotel was charming, and the skylight in the upper floor room was cute! Breakfast also sufficient, very friendly waitress and coffee pot on your own table.. :) Elevator went only to floor 4, and there's rooms in floor 5. Not a problem for me, but good to note if disabled.
The free wi-fi access, the sleeping room was clean. The kitchen had a bad smell of food probably left by the previous guests. The couch in the living room should be replaced.
It was like you were in your own home. Apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable ... you couldn't really ask for any more! I honestly could not find any faults ...
Re apartment no. 14. A very well kept, city centre apartment, which was excellent value for money. Nothing.
It was my second time at this hotel. The simple, confortable lines, the good access to the ciy center and the reasonable prices made me choose again to stay at "Apartamenty Pomarańczarnia". The staff was kind enough to call me on my mobile to tell me as soon the apartment was cleaned and ready to enter, as we arrived early in the morning and before the other guests' check-out. The apartment is slowly getting more modern and ready. There are, however, some very minor flaws (not big enough to keep us from booking there again, to be noticed!): the bathroom window had no curtain, so we had to use a towel to cover; the front door and ascending stairs "don't match" the good style inside the apartments (on our first visit, we were almost not going upstairs, because the access was so poor... fortunately we did see the apartment, and were amazed on the huge quality difference. We stayed!)
the apartment was great and big, all mod cons-sat tv nice decor.big rooms and warm.very clean, will go back again.stayed in a few hotels in poznan and by far this is the best as it had big bedroom, lounge, bathroom and kitchenhighly recommend...a++++
Very spacious and tastefully decorated apartments. The 4 flights of stairs to reach my room. Plus, there was no microwave in my room.
hotel has a great location, short walk to the old town and 5 minutes away from the Stary Browar shopping centre
This is a great location in Poznan, easy walking distance to shops etc, and the apartments are very spacious and tastefully decorated. Whilst my comments in the negative box may put you off, i do appreciate that the water and building work were circumstantial, but it did make our stay that bit less enjoyable and we maybe would have booked elsewhere if we had known We stayed from may 31st till 11th june and unfortunatly there is extensive work going on on the exterior of the building. This means scaffolding up and workmen from sometimes 7 a.m outside you windows! This was slightly annoying, also one day the water went off in the immediate vicinity. Only when we saw the locals filling up buckets etc from a water truck did we realise we had to do the same (no-one in reception) After 6 trips up 3 flights of stairs i was a bit knacked! Finally, make sure you ask in reception for changes of towels or cleaning rooms because they won't do either if you don't.
Great, comfortable room, plenty of room, and good facilities, location to the shops, and city centre couldn't have been better no toaster in the room, would have been nice to have had some tea and coofee already there to go with the kettle
Nice rooms, nice furniture, good beds, quiet (although in middle of city center). Very friendly people at reception, they waited for hours because we arrived too late.....! Never hired such a good appartment. It almost felt like being home....
The location is very convenient to see the old city and many beautiful places around. The staffs are so nice, kind, and friendly. They always provide good services, info. Since there is a bar downstairs, so a bit noisy during the night but i don't mind at all. Around the hotel, so many good restaurants (i.e. Sushi, Mexican, especially the best Polish restaurant Aventis with traditional polish plate, so good).
location lack of space
Excellent location. Friendly staff
Very nice and spaceful room for 4 people. Ideally located in the heart of the old city. Price unbeatable !
Very good help
privacy of the apartment strong smell of refuse in the downstairs entrance.
The friendliness and warmth of the hotel staff (Kamila and the team) were fantastic. We have stayed in lots of hotels in the past 10 years, and they were easily the best.
I thought that the Reception staff were exceptional. 24hr service is great, great knowledge of local restaruants. There were waititng for us with the breakfast much longer than opening hours which was really nice. The apartament was really spacious with good bathroom and very hot shower! And the most amazing location ever - old town of Poznan just round the corner. In the heart of all great clubs, caffes and attractions of Poznan. It has been bit noisy as there is a great Latino pub next to Hotel but absolutely acceptable.
Fantastic location, in the heart of the town and minutes away from the town square. Don't miss the goats at noon.
The hotel is in the great place, rooms are clean and nice. Stuffis helpfull, i would recomend this hotel to everyone traveling to Poznan.
Close to the center but still quiet, charming atmosphere, friendly staff. Everything was OK.
Food at the restaurant was excellent and well priced. Windows not noise proof enough.
Position is perfect if you want to stay in the city center. People who works at the hotel and the restaurant are very nice also. Wireless connection sometimes gave me problem...
Great Hotel. To repeat. No elevator.
The location(just off the old square not noisy) ,and Breakfast(lovely bread & almond croissants and a decent variation of Hams/Cheeses. Swipe cards for door security were problematic,Towels not cleaned properly,No Hotel services list in the room,no hooks on shower door,Little details, but annoying, probably because I feel the hotel does have great potential.
