All the staff was very nice. the place is very beautiful , in very good conditions and very well manteined. room and installations are very clean.
Clean rooms and kitchenette. Had to pay for the tennis court when the booking.com website did not indicate this and the hotel did not mention it when we asked for the tennis court. It was a shock when we got the bill for 48 Euro when we left. Please indicate on your website if these things have fees! We complained to the guy at the front desk but he was not prepared to do anything about it.Disappointed with hotel.
Good location for visiting area surrounding Naples by car (e.g. Baia, Cuma), and for motorway to other places. Nice pool. Comfortable room with kitchenette. Helpful staff. To find the hotel, do not use Google maps. It is on the main SSv7 Domitiana road - the Tangenziale west from Naples turns into this road. You see the hotel on the left behind a Q8 petrol station, so turn off at the next exit and follow signs to the hotel. The hotel entrance for cars is on the far right once you turn into the Q8 service station. Breakfast was poor (although not unusually so for Italian hotels), with little choice. Do not follow Google maps to find the hotel - it will send you to the wrong place.
beautiful gardens, quiet location and staff was very acommodating. breakfast and dining area were lovely.
Personal attention of the staff, they were great!!
accessibility,,,, hard to find ,,, address donot show on gps and staff could not give good directions
The pool was well kept and great for kids. The pool bar closed between pool closing time 1800 and as the restraunt didnt open until 2030 that left a period of time with nothing but BBC World to entertain.
The pool area has no towel-service, no toilet, no changing rooms. Annoyingly the pool area was closed early due to a private ceremony and it was done without any notice. On a very hot and tiring day this could come as a very unpleasant surprise, particularly after a day-trip to Pompeij.
The view was amazing. Clean rooms, Friendly staff. It was a little hard to find. When you finally find the right street it looks like a dead end. Go up the road on the left that looks like it leads to the back parking for the pizza restaruant, it's actually a road that leads up a very steep hill (alittle hard for my small rental car to climb) all the way to the top and take a left.
hotel room and pool not realy suitable for holiday makers as the hotel is predominently for occasions such as weddings, facilities for holideaymakers are poor.
we enjoyd staying and would have liked to stay more than a day. beautiful view the smell from solfatara comes with the wind and people should know that
good new hotel with very nice view
the location wich offres a panoramic view of Pozzuoli. the suite had an awfull smell, was not clean at our arrival and was too isolated. we didn't accept the suite and switched to twe separated rooms what resulted in an 80% increase of the price!
The view was fabulous, the hotel staff were very helpful, the mini bar wasn't over priced as some hotels are, and the breakfast was great. The wireless was free, but only available in certain areas. But there is a computer to use if you need one so that was nice. The swimming pool was not very clean and almost never available during our 5 day stay because there was always some event being held there. And finally the location is difficult to get to if you don't have a car - you have to rely on taxi's. But the view is worth the extra hassle.
It is a lovely hotel on the top of a mountain above the city of Pozzuoli. You will need a car to get there easily. The city of Pozzuoli you can reach by taxi or by car. Napoli is reachable with the taxi to a metrostation, and then within 15 minutes reach, you are in the citycenter of Napoli. There isn't public transport in the nearby that's why you always transport yourself by car or taxi. The swimmingpool looks very nice. It is a very clean hotel. We did not actually stayed in the hotel. We booked a room, when we arrived at the hotel we get our key. They informed us that the swimmingpool and the surrounding of the pool was closed for the 2 days we would be staying there (in the weekend) because of a wedding!! We were very disappointed about that. Because I also payed for using the simming pool. That area looks very nice. And after a long drive from Rome, with the heat. We really wanted to lie in the sun. Now, we were forced to visit the city. The thing I want to inform the bookers for this hotel is that you have to inform yourself if there is any wedding during the time of your staying. When there isn't a wedding, it is a good 4 star hotel.
I liked the location the most. Staying in Pozzouli was enjoyable. The view was great also. My flight itinerary was unexpectedly changed and I was unable to stay at the hotel for the first four nights of my booking. The hotel and booking.com would not refund me the money for the nights that I did not stay at the hotel.
Pepe was an excellent help. He always had the answer and the time to help us.
Clean comfortable straightforward
Good spa facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking. Free shuttle transfer up to restaurant. Allowed us a late check out. Breakfast was good. Easy to find. All in all, a nice place to stay! Shower water was luke warm in the evening, but minor problem.
We had originally booked 4 nights at the hotel, but when we got there and saw the horrible and dirty location, we changed it to just one night. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff so polite and helpfull, we have no complaints about the hotel, enjoyed the great breakfast and small but lovely spa. Unfortunately, the area is not what you expect at all, dirty, not alot of choice for eating out, disgusting beach, and no other choice of good beaches nearby, full of people and they expect you to pay at parts of the beach, not only for the sunbed and parasole but also to actually get into the water!!! It almost ruined our holiday, we were happy to leave the location but again it is a shame the hotel is here, as it was perfect!!!
visited Sofatara, Vesuvio, Pompei
I was quite surprised to learn that the rooms were suites. They were great. The hotel is comfortable, clean and I would stay there again should I return to Naples. the staff were extremely polite and helpful.
Wonderful, helpful stafff. rooms, service breakfast were excellent. Great SPA. Shuttle to top of mountain for dinner was an excellent service since there were not a lot of restaurants in the area. Location was not the best but convenient for our purposes.
great view of seaside
While the location was poor, the proximity to the train station was great The location and the trash in the streets. Not really the hotel's fault however.
hotel is fab really stylish, rooms are very spacious and plenty of nice extras and would recommend the corner room, great breakfast lots of variety and even had champers on offer!!!!!and lovely roof terrace. funny smell in bathroom and dinner was a bit disappointing.
the design the prices for drinks at the bar up theterrece are far too high!!!
The room was very nice and the hotel was close to the station. The information we were given by the staff about an excursion to Pompay
silent, clean poor breakfast, dark room
the size of room..and the "trendy' decor There was one front desk staff, that was "trying to be funny" but was rather rude. He assume many things, not very proffessional. Thankfully I have a good sense of humour, otherwise I would have been more put off than I was.
Close to Railway Station in Napoli The Bathroom smelt bad.
Every single facility was clean and fine. No problem with using hotel. Nothing special, but wifi is too pricey.
The front desk was great, big thanks to Jiovani who assisted often with getting around and travelling advise. The bus and train stations are very close. The heating is not great especially in the bathroom. The shower is very small. The hand/small towels are terrible. The location is not great, lots of street people and a feeling of unsafety.
Open garden at roof level We could not get served a dinner one night, told it would be 10minutes, 45 minutes later no menu given or water or an up date, waiters very scarcastic as we left, laughed at us and said Bye bye. Noise from street terrible, horns beeping all nite, extremely dirty outside hotel, staff on reception unhelpful, perhaps very little english, didn't understand us. Very poor selection of english speaking TV programmes. Internet access, no printer, very slow.
good neighborhood, close to good shoping district, nice rooms, but a little bit smal not so rich breakfast choise, no bar or caffe in the hotel
Helpfulness by the stay. The bar tender during he evening of our stay was very curtious and informative. prices for drinks at the bar much to high
Very well located
Excellent location...Walking distance to the seaside, right in the middle of the shopping district. Plenty of restaurants near by.
The room was immaculate and well kept. Beds were firm. Would definitly stay here again.
I like very much the hotel , all was perfect :)
perfect location very comfortable hotel!
The localization of the hotel is great, in the Chiaia region, the best neighboorhod in town. The hotel is very near to the best shops in Naples, such as Gucci, Armani and Louis Vuitton and another great shops, so you can reach the best of the city in a short walk. The hotel is also near to some good bars and restaurants (like the great pizzeria Matozzi) and to some streets that are closed to cars and are great to walk around, so within a walking distance, you have the best of Naples. It is also just three blocks form the subway station that leads to the central station. The hotel is very good, the room is very modern, new and clean, with a large ans clean bathroom with amenities. The only bad point is that they don´t have a safe box in the room, but they have in the reception. The staff is great, always ready to help you, the breakfast is very good and the hotel restaurant serves pretty good foods for lunch and dinner. I would recomend this hotel for everyone, me and my family really liked it. Just to put a safe box in the room
Excellent service all round . Excellent Room. Spotlessly clean. Excellent location. Though the restaurant not busy at night the food was absolutely delicious. Very nice staff. safe area of Naples. Walking distance to the main shopping area and Piazza Plebiscite. Not far from bay. Rooms lovely. One fothe best hotels I 've ever stayed in.
A good hotel near to the more expensive shopping area , the staff are excellent in the way they communicate and help guests. I have now stayed a few times in the hotel and find its location safe (especially for Napoli and nice to walk around, there are interesting bars, trattorias and restaurants nearby. Not this hotel in particular, but in general the price of in hotel breakfasts, and I do know real Italians and what they eat for breakfast I am not commenting on the lack of a big American fry up. Only looking for a cornetto and cafe latte variation for a sensible price.
The hotel staff were great and the room was terrific. There was a great balcony and the view was incredible. The shower was awful. There was only a partial "door", and water got everywhere when you took a shower. We had to cover the floor in every towel we had in preparation for the swamp that followed. The pool also required swim caps which was weird and a big bummer because who wants to wear a swim cap?
Staff were lovely. We had a problem with our room when we checked in initially and we were moved without any hesitation. Also, when we were leaving we asked for a recommendation for a hotel in sorrento and Monica, a fabulous lady helped us to secure a hotel for 8 days. This was completely above and beyond and we very much appreciated it. She had also recommended a beautiful place for dinner near the hotel. Good helpful staff working in a hotel in a new city for visitors are worth their weight in gold, this lady in particular was exceptional! No complaints about the hotel and the location was good. Naples is abit nuts though, 2 days is plenty!
The room was cleaned every day and the sheets changed daily. The decor was lovely but there was a lot of unfinished work in this area. For example a fixing had been put on the wall and the plaster had broken away and no one prepaired the damage.
I love the location and room. However, the breakfast was the only poor parts. Their coffee is a shame of Italy. If the tourist comes to Italy at the first time and drank that coffee, they will all think that Italian coffee is horrible,,but the truth is one of the best. They should really change that coffee and stop serving conserved fruits, Naples has wonderful fresh fruits!!!
Sorry, not much. Breakfast overlooking the sea but inside away from the traffic is the best I can come up with. Hard lumpy bed. Pool closed on arrival. Refusal to provide iron/ironing board to tidy my dress before going out, curt to point of rude reception staff but most important no one smiled - not even once.
The balcony and the seaview The room The central location.
The view was fantastic and the room was ok. Pool area was fabulous We were charged for items from the minibar which we never had. Were woken at 12 midnight on the first night of our honeymoon and told we had to change room. Told it was our honeymoon but got no welcome basket for it.
View is spectacular and the walk along the beach is great. Breakfast is good. Carpets and walls looking a little tired, but certainly everything is clean!
The hotel provided an excellent buffet breakfast which was included in the price. The view of the Bay of Naples was magnificent, particularly from the dining room. I also had dinner there and the service was excellent and friendly.
Beautiful view of the castle, the sea and the mountains.
Friendliness of Hotel Staff Amenities need updated Air Conditioning did not function very well if at all, room was very uncomfortable temperature wise.
Efficient and well organized, clean rooms. I would expect in a hotel to have a map of the city to be offered to the clients. Also, more care to have english in every leaflet and post.
The selection for breakfast was extremely poor. For a buffet breakfast I would expect a greater choice. I certainly in the past have found a better selection at lower rated hotels.
the location was grade because there are restaurants and bus station near by. The view from the high floors is breathtaken !!!!!!! the breakfast eas poor for 4 stars hotel . and the difficulty of aproaching the parking which doesnot belong to the hotel!!!
Breakfast was great. Room was nice. All italian channels (no variety) + impossible to order movies
The location In napoli is very good. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff. On the edge of being rude. We stayed 3 days and everyday, 1 lift was out of order. Considering this hotel receives a lot of tourist bus, imagine when you are trying to take a lift. For the same reasons of tourist bus, It was difficult to take breakfast, no table available or no food available. We had 3 rooms and in each room, the safety box was "out of order". The reception sent somebody to fix it but could not find the problem. The free internet service in the lobby was also "out of order". The lift to the garage was "out of order". Finally, except for the location, we cannot recommend this hotel.
Hotel location, restaurant staff Front desk was very impatient, the rooms from 21st floor and above are refurbished, so make sure you ask for these rooms because the rest of the rooms are really worn out and are not pleasant to stay in, breakfast was very basic and included very few vegetables
trough the window we can see all naples very beautiful panorama... stains on the wall in the room, broken bathroom glass, rusted bathroom tubes.
We wanted a view of the bay so got a room upgrade without having to pay extra. The famous AC Milan football team also stayed while we were here and Liverpool stayed the week before! The service in the restaurant was very poor. We waited over 30 mins for our drinks and over an hour for our meal which was ok but not worth the wait. The prices for the food and drinks in the bar and restaurant were ridiculously expensive. This also applies to the mini bar in the rooms.
The public areas were clean and atractive and the staff were pleasant. The bed was comfortable and the linen and towels were crisp and clean I requested a room near to a friend who was on floor no.25 but when I received my key I was on floor 17 when I pointed out my request I was confronted by a kirt "it is not possible". I aslo requested a non smoking room but was put on a smoking floor. They advertise a safe in every room I never found one in mine. The enamel on the bath was badly damaged. The razor socket in the bathroom was broken so much so that water could enter the mechanism. There was a smell in the bahroom. The air conditioning didn't appear to be working. It would appear that at sometime the room had been broken into because the inside door frame was damaged. The day before we were due to leave, our room was stripped as if we were vacating it that day, this was promptly resolved by a receptionist.Every time we wanted service from the bar we had to find the barman who appeared to double up in the dining room. You may wonder why I didn't complain but I was there to support a friend who had been mugged and badly beaten and was in hospital I therefore had more important things on my mind and spent very little time in the room. I may have to return but will consider a different hotel. The room was 1727
Good position good views good breakfast. But its opulence is fading fast and the spa/pool etc was closed as it was Sunday - this is not stated in the web site so the value was poor as we had expectations that did not come to fruition. No use of pool. Old fashioned.
Old. Needs a complete renovation of interior. Wi fi also needs to be updated and strenghthened. Location and rooftop restaurant are only selling points right now.
The staff was helpful and nice They need to update the hotel a bit it's very dated it's like stepping into 1945. They need to make the hotel like Thr terrace they have on the very top there is a restaurant there and it's the only area of the hotel that I would consider a 5. Star.they should use the style of that restaurant for the entire hotel.
best position in Napoli, very nice hotel and staff, especially the girl from reception who is very nice and beautifull
Excellent staff, fantastic room, bueautiful view, good breakfast, good decor. No
Close to dining and shopping. Close to the port to catch the ferry to Capri and the other islands. Its the best hang out spot in naples. Staff was friendly.
They implied that breakfast was included then we got whacked for 27 a head on breakfast. Most expensive muffin I ever ate
Amazing views, great location Limited catering, no evening meal and even basics like snacks in the evening were not available
The location is great. The music of a wedding in the hotel was loud until late hours in the night. this is not acceptable in a hotel like this.
Old world charm and great location. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were a bit dated.
Excellent hotel in perfect position with professional staff . Has everything anyone could wish for was an ideal base for three wonderful days in Napoli no
Reception by personel was terible:poor english, unfriendly (few persons starting by manager of reception) Very expensive for price paid. For breakfast large choice but personel disputing between them, not profesional behaviour. It is the first time when I see something like this. Our 10 days holidays in Italy (Florence, Genoa, Tuscany, Milano) were fantastic but not in this hotel. Sorry because behind are people & familly, but something has to change.
The staff were extremely helpful. I had no problem with the language and they could all speak English. All staff were eager to please and offered excellent advice on where to eat and where to go to experience Napoli. The services offered were exceptional and I was treated as a special guest. I recommend this hotel to anyone going to Napoli.
Luxury hotel, well situated. Great breakfast on the tarrace - excellent personel (Mr Mario). Good room service.Tasty meals. Perfect barman Not fully satisfied with Concierge and reception personel - they seemed to have something more important to do than paying you enough attention. Parking - you have to go on foot to pay and to collect the car
the staff and the comfort cooperation with staff, because of their poor english..
The location was great. Walking distance to many restaurants Seemed like one day this was a grand hotel. Today it's old and dusty. The room size was great but the sheets were rough and the hallways looked like they needed to be vacuumed.
The hospitality of the staff I was dissatisfied with just about everything else, apart from the staff. This hotel is, due to it's location, not suitable for business nor leisure. It lacks quite a lot of facilities and even to italian standards should have 2 starts instead of 4.
The best part is the location - right across from the train station. You can walk with your luggage directly to the hotel. The rooms were well appointed, spacious bathrooms, separate room for luggage - which was a plus.
Bed was super comfy, the rooms were very clean, shower was hot and had good water pressure, the included breakfast was amazing! Only thing not so good about this hotel is the location. Right next to the central train station, which is convenient, however the area is sketchy. Lots of pickpockets
We dropped some cash in the lift and a staff picked it up and sent it back to us even before we realised it. His honesty should be commended! Housekeepers woke us up every morning at around 9:30am. Perhaps they could do the rooms at around 11 am without waking up the guests.
Overall the hotel and room were very nice. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. Also, the restaurant was very nice for lunch and dinner. I was here to present at a conference and the conference rooms of the hotel were nice and they provided folders, papers, pens, and water for participants. The hotel was right next to the central metro station which was very convenient to get on the metro and do some sightseeing. However, I don't think this hotel is in a "tourist area" and it is more where the locals go to catch the bus and the metro. The hotel is in a sketchy area and the room I had was noisy. I would not go out after dark. I was sexually harassed on the street one night while I was trying to get dinner. During the day was okay though. The room was also cold at night and no matter what setting I put the thermostat at the temperature never changed. The tv and treadmill in the fitness center did not work. Also, the business center was not available due to renovations. In addition, I asked the front desk staff what/where there was to sightsee and I was just given a city map with no indication of where things were located. The woman just circled a broad area of the map and told me to go there. That was not helpful at all.
(1) Excellent location. 2 mins' walk from the station!! , (2) Cleanses of hotel lobby and (3) neat breakfast hall. Receptionist service could be better.
fitness room, parking poor breakfast, location
Internet access was an important feature of my choice of hotel, and this was inoperative for my stay, which as it was a business trip caused great inconvenience. On a more general point, I feel it ridiculous that wi-fi access should be charged for in addition to standard room rates, it is now such a general requirement, an essential.
Excellent location, clean room and good breakfast. Extremely small room with very soft/worn mattress, safe deposit box in room does not work and extremely small shower stall (can't even bend down).
very good ground floor staff... ie reception and concierge lot of construction work outside hotel
Small balcony overlooking city. Decent bathroom Service was abrupt almost to rudeness. Breakfast was poor - cold coffee and stale pastries. Ripped off by the taxi that the hotel called for us.
The service of the staff was great. The food and room facilities were all of a very good quality. Nicely decorated hotel. The hotel is on Piazza Garibaldi, next to the train station and a bit noisy. This area of Naples is very dirty and to say the least tends to detract from the hotel which was the best out of the 10 hotels in Italy we have stayed in so far.
We made reservations for three nights, and we stayed only hours and next day rushed out of there. It was the worse stay in any hotel we have ever been to. Imagine the location being in the worst part of the city you live in. The room was small, atrocious, the chair was so overused that none of us could even sit on it. The bathroom was atrocious; tiny, no shelves, cabinets, counter top. We had to put our toiletry bags on the floor. Italy is our favorite country, but this hotel should be ashamed of themselves for even using the word "Palazzo". Everything. We ran out of there like bats out of hell. Atrocious! We are not the kind of family seeking luxury. You get what you pay for, but this is an embarrassment to the hotel business not to say Italy. The surrounding area was so bad, that the hotel staff lock the doors day and night.
The hotel has excellent price-quality ratio, it was clean, comfortable and like an oasis of tranquility in the generally rather messy Naples area. No, everything was very good.
really perfect and compliant staff, very clean simple continental breakfast, repetitional every day, missing fresh bread
The proprietors were exceptionally courteous and helpful!
Very nice hotel modern clean and the staff very nice only a small place which we liked and we would stay there again
hotel staff loudness of the hotel facilities
The location of the hotel was excellent for my needs. It was clean and tidy.
museum visit Naples
room nice and large. large flat screen TV. hotel staff friendly.room and bathroom clean. No view from our room or decent balcony. Window very small. resturant out of use during our stay.
I liked the cleanliness of the room and the cable tv. Nothing
Friendly staff. Very old, tiny shower and bathroom, not in a very good neighborhood.
close to grocery store and walking distance to all attractions none
Clean and quiet. Good breakfast. Good location need the old city. The internet didn't work one night!
Central location, quiet, nice rooms, good value for money. Will come back.
The location was fantastic. The room was nice and spacious with a balcony overlooking the city and the breakfasts were good
location is great, breakfast ok, room fine works going on in the street and so a lot of noise. I know these kind of works can take a lot of time (years) so be prepared
clean big rooms. lovely breakfast too many midgers in the room got bit loads of times. that was after we killed at least 80,dont know where they were coming from, shame really cos everything else was lovely
Staff and services were top notch. Neighborhood environment; not near anything.
Inside parking, near the beach, sightseeing shower cabin too narrow
Excellently situated by the sea near Pozzuoli and Solfetara and many other sights as well as being handy for Naples without having to stay there! Good basic facilities. Comfortable room. Reasonable restaurant even out of season. The railway runs close behind but we found the occasional slight noise quite tolerable.
staff friendly clean hotel ok location for us to visit family beds were either rock hard or too soft
The view; the helpfulness of the hotel manager The location, necessitating a lengthy walk to either of the Cumana stations (Lucrino or Arco Felice) past huge piles of rubbish which meant having to walk out in the road among the traffic.
The hotel is nice, clean, excellent staff, good breakfast Shower need renovation
The hotel was quiet and familiar, with friendly staff, goog breakfast and nice type of guests. A sharp lamp (to prevent stealing of cars)was directed into my room in the night so I couldn´t enjoy the view.
This is a typical Italian hotel, with friendly helpful staff. They also had a lot of information booklets etc and gave plenty of advise on sight seeing . We had a room with a stunning sea view. The breakfast was standard but perfect for what we needed. In the locality there are bars and restaurants and is close to the motorway. We would stay there again. The address for the hotel is Pozzuoil, but it is in a suburb of Pozzuoil which is not mentioned on your website or the printout. This gave us an hour of trial and error with asking for directions in pigeon Italian before we found it!
We have been very well welcome at the hotel. I was visiting the area (Solfatara, Vesuvio, Pompei) with friends and we got all the information we need from the staff. In fact we discover there was a lot more to see around Pozzuoli than I thought. We only spent one night there but it was an excellent stay. I will come again here in spring season with friends for a longer stay. The hotel was a bit difficult to find because of the "one way streets" and also because it is difficult to find a name on a street, but it was already night and I didn't know the area ! Anyway, I know how to get there now, next time will be much more easy !
The staff are very kind, welcoming and helpful.
