Pros. The breakfast buffet with omelet bar was great every morning. The coffee shop moved out of the gift shop our last day which was a great improvement. The service in adult lounge was always great and well as the food there. The staff for the most part was very friendly. The restaurant wait staff, the desk personnel, the entrance greeters, the cleaning staff were all amazingly friendly and helpful. We were always greeted with a smile and their salute.
Cons. The hours for the adult lounge were very restrictive. The swim bar closed at 6pm each night which was crazy. I experienced extremely slow service twice while I was there and each of times we left the venue. One of the instances was reported to staff who corrected it the next day, the food on the special nights was lacking flavor and didn’t seem all that special. The overall quality of the food was lacking when you compare it to the Grand Fiesta.
Pros. * Excellent service in many areas. * Asian and Buffet restaurants were outstanding. * Room service was great. * Each employee we encountered was very good. * Drinks were okay. * I want to stay if it had not been for the service issues at the 2 mentioned restaurants this would have been an outstanding review.
Cons. * The worst part of this restaurant were the Italian and Mexican restaurants. Service was extremely slow in the Mexican (took a group of 10 3 hours from start to finish.) Service was slow and our server was just rude in the Italian restaurant. We went back to the Italian restaurant a 2nd time encountering this same server and he was even worse the 2nd time.
Pros. The Resort was pretty spot on and the lobby was simply stunning. We stayed on the 9th floor and got a great view of the beach and the surrounding area. Hotel staff was friendly and there were plenty of drinks. Family friendly resort
Cons. Not exactly for younger couples looking to party. The resort next door looked like they were having a blast the entire time. Friendly Vallarta next door is where the party was happening: DJ, Mariachi, Banda, they had everything. I fee like Fiesta Americana should do something similar if not bigger. Not too much of a bummer though, quick taxi ride to where all the night life is happening

Cons. My only complaint would be that the beds could be a bit more comfortable.
Pros. The pool and beach were wonderful. The food was great. Loved the omelette, smoothie and quesadilla stations for breakfast. The fish tacos are a must! The grill not only offered hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken wings but guacamole and pico. The rooms were all pool and ocean view and very adequate. But what really stood out was the staff. Not only were they friendly and accommodating to the guests but never saw any impatience or aggravation between coworkers. We WILL be back to Puerto Vallarta and it WILL be at Fiesta Americana.
Pros. Staff is very friendly and polite, always willing to please the customer. Comfortable bed. . Hotel pillows very hard. Very nice small beach, pool. Nice bar in the lobby that stays open late. The Ceviche was great at the restaurant by the beach. Beach waiters are excellent.
Cons. Not being able to accommodate large groups in restaurants, only one table for 8 people in each restaurant, and always taken. Waiters were not permitted to join 2-3 tables to accommodate my party. Tables available at buffet but not too many choices of food, gets tiring after few days. In order to share some meals together as a family we end up eating out at La Leche and town restaurants, spending money not in budget. Would not recommend for groups with more than 5 people.
Pros. The staff worked realy hard to make a pleasant experience.
Cons. The food was satisfactory at best. Not a good value for the money. Service to time share holders was a priority, the rest of the guests were given less attention.
