Love this place, I would rate higher but the room although clean had a musty odor and a little noisy mostly due to a bird outside are room who gawked loudly all night.

Pros (+) The food here is great! You can also bring in your own food to cook (the rooms have full kitchens and there are grills outside), but I would consider eating at the restaurants. A tip: The wifi is not free, but if you buy something from the restaurant in the market, you can ask for a wifi code that is valid for the entire day. Otherwise, the charge is $10 per day per device. I was never approached ...
Cons (-) The hotel is not close to downtown, so a cab ride is required. Also, there are plenty of people trying to sell you things on the beach and that can get a bit tiring.

Pros (+) The staff are the friendliest you'll find in PVR. The food was excellent too. We were surprised with prime rib at the seafood restaurant. Yum!
Cons (-) I didn't like that we basically missed our last day of vacation because of Hurricane Patricia. It barely rained and I never saw any high winds.
