Wonderful
Anonymous, Sep 2018 - Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Bangkok Menam Riverside
Pros (+) the first night we stayed in a delux room, and the airconditioning was very lousy, so we complained to the reception. The reception staff was helpful to upgrade our room to a junior suite. Moreover, we asked the concierge for the directions and spots of interest, and they were so helpful and willing to help. A plus staff!

Pros (+) The room, bed, bathroom, breakfast, and service were very good.
Cons (-) The pool was a bit meh and the fitness room was under equipped. I also, for some reason, decided to book the package with the 'club benefits'. I ended up not using them and found the staff concerned with the 'exclusive' services a bit up themselves. I'd definitely return here but wouldn't bother with the club stuff.

Pros (+) Awesome location, just a one minute walk to BTS Nana. The BTS Skytrain System is the best way to get around Bangkok, and it's almost right at your doorstep. The breakfast at Grand Swiss is fabulous. Great selections for Western and Asian customers. One word - Bacon.
Cons (-) Our room faced an outdoor bar, and we could hear muffled bar noise, but not enough to keep us awake or bother us, and I'm a very light sleeper.

Pros (+) it was close to a temple we needed to go for funeral services.
Cons (-) I paid the same price as my cousin, he had "Deluxe" and I ended up with "Superior". Nothing suggested the difference between "superior" and "Deluxe" room when we booked on the website. Bare minimum for "superior" room, hard bed, no coffee service in room, old TV set, no bath robe, no slippers.

Pros (+) Price. Location is very close to a subway station (MRT) WiFi performance has improved compare to my previous stays
Cons (-) Very dated room. It has not changed in 8 years. Lots of tour groups. They can be noisy if you are on the same floor with them. The 'Superior' room category is really dated - no flat panel TV, no coffe in the room (only tea). Towels are really thin. Avoid it.

Pros (+) Conveniently located close to BTS, only a very short walk to station which connects you to multiple shopping options. Good comfortable beds and room size is excellent for families. Great option for families needing adjoining rooms.
