Pros: Although our taxi driver had a few problems to find the correct location of the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised to find everything as pictured on the website. All rooms and especially the lounge were very tastefully decorated and radiated calm and peacefulness. We (3 couples) were made to feel very comfortable from the first to the last minute. The bedrooms were well appointed with lots of attention to detail. In spite of the smallness (4 rooms) Margarita made sure that we got a 5-star service including being able to enjoy a night cap late in the evening and an excellent breakfast. Highly recommendable.

Pros: Booked junior suite which was lovely as we met our daughter (adult) there. Bath tiny. Bedrooms luxurious. Arrived early (about 45 -50 mins) after picking up our daughter from Gatwick to be told we’d be charged extra as early. Not such a warm welcome. Disappointing as read such good reviews. Continental breakfast very nice. The host (man) not sure if manager or owner was friendly
Cons: Lack of welcome, seemed all about the money

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for Gatwick Airport Lovely Food
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Maple Manor Hotel was a beautiful structure that was well maintained. Our room was quite clean with a comfortable bed and a powerful shower. Staff was friendly and the continental breakfast included was free, which was good for a light snack in the morning. My husband and I stayed overnight once which meant we had free parking available. A taxi to Gatwick North Terminal was £8 one way (took approximately 10minutes to get there, if so much) which was cheap in comparison to Uber. We would definitely stay there again when we’re flying from Gatwick as it’s an affordable and comfortable room that’s near to the airport.
Cons: The room was on the smaller side but we were only staying overnight so it was fine for our needs. (Just letting readers know what to expect.) Our taxi which they ordered for 8 30am came at approximately 8 45/50am. We had put in the request when we checked in the previous day. While it may not have been at any fault of Maple Manor Hotel, it’s best to book your taxi a bit earlier than you plan to so you won’t be rushing about at the airport. (We we’re still on time for the flight.)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We arrived at 11.30pm after a cancelled Gatwick flight. The receptionist was welcoming and even helped take luggage upstairs. He was still present and smiling as we left at 6am the next morning. The hotel is just a 15 minute taxi drive from the North Terminal.
Cons: As am older style mansion, there are no lifts.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and convenient

Quality WiFi. A lot of power outlets, allowing for connection of all the chargers (laptop / phone / tablet / headphones). Everything was working fine. There's a kettle in the room and a tea / coffee to choose from. 2 minute walk to the nearest pub (recommended too) :D

We arrived at 11 pm, and were able to check ourselves in with no issues. Breakfast was good, with fresh coffee, yogurt, pastries, toast, jams, fruit, etc... No one went hungry! The hosts, Tony & Linda, were great; they were extremely friendly and helpful, and we had a few minutes of great conversation with them. Linda was so kind as to call a cab for us, and went out of her way to make sure that it arrived on time. Unfortunately, we only had a few hours to spend there, but between the comfortable beds, friendly hosts, good breakfast, and a beautiful church & cemetery that was part of our morning walk, Gatwick House was perfect for us!

Pros: Everything else. Room was huge. Strong wifi, great surroundings and helpful staff.
Cons: Room only had a bath with shower head which was disappointing given the size of the bathroom. Minor point though.

Pros: The location is very close to Gatwick - around 10 to 15mins in the car. The environment was very quiet and relaxing, not to mention beautiful. Oh and they have Guiness on tap
Cons: Lights outside the room were not on when trying to enter the room at night, made thing a little difficult to open the door - small issue. Maybe lights on a photocell or movement sensor would be handy. A stand to hold the shower head incase you want a standing shower.

Cons: No dislikes.

Pros: perfect location for the airport. friendly service. taxi run to the airport super helpful.
Cons: the room was very hot, a little smelly and no soap - nothing that couldn't be fixed there and then I'm sure, but I arrived late and was very tired to inform the staff at the time.

Pros: Both dinner and breakfast were excellent The staff have all worked there for a number of years and care..... great to have found this place. Gatwick is no longer bottom choice for airport
Cons: All good
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was small but adequate, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the transfers from and to the airport we're on time and quick.
Cons: The door to my room was hard to close. A shower in the room would be good and a bit more space. Overall the room was very small but clean and comfy.

Pros: Nice welcoming staff Fast and swift shuttle to the airport Comfortable bed
Cons: Smell of the kitchen/cooking when entering the hotel Shower with low water pressure Describing the hotel as "fabulous" on booking.com is a bit over the top
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location was the best thing about this hotel if we had know that we was going to be put in one of the chalet rooms we wouldn't of booked here and to make matters worse the toilet seat was hanging off would not stay in this part of the hotel again
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were brilliant will stay here again
Cons: Nothing not like
7.0 Good
Pros: The location is excellent. Although I arrived in the middle of the night the courtesy bus took no time at all to pick me up. Breakfast was fine but not outstanding in any way. The whole place had an air of efficiency. The bathroom was small but everything worked well and was clean.
Cons: It's a long time since I stayed in such a small room. I had two cases and the only place I could put them in the room was up against the door. Thank goodness there wasn't a fire. That being said I was only staying one night and the room was clean, and the (single) bed confortable enough
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great proximity to the airport and very convenient shuttle to get to my flight in the morning. Really comfortable sleep and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
9.5 Excellent

7.9 Good
Pros: Lovely building (think there's an old pipe organ in the main hall!), fab breakfast, with obviously local produce!!! Bag of old character!
Cons: A little bit out of the way (or at least for me - might not be for you) and a tad on the expensive side...just a bit for an overnight business stay. But I'd come back, which says rather more!!!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Stunning views and beautiful location
Cons: The mattress was really springie and very uncomfortable. Given the price we paid I would have expected a better nights sleep! I have stayed at this hotel many times for work and this weekend was for our anniversary - the poor nights really spoilt the weekend for us

Pros: The building was fabulous
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Hotel full of character with amazing views. Room very comfortable. Breakfast good.
Cons: Being handed a confusing map of the hotel layout on arrival and expected to find my way to a distant room, up and down stairs, with a case, with no other guidance from reception staff except "take the lift to the first floor and follow the map".
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so professional, friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much and they placed a bottle of Champagne in the room whilst we were dining as I requested!
Cons: Nothing!
