The car had not been cleaned when I picked it up and as it turned out way more expensive than advertised with all of the extras mostly insurance.
Can't get a hold of them if you need help, simple as that. If nothing goes wrong, you're fine.
Good discounted price at the cost of extra time to walk to bus stop and wait for their shuttle; then drive to a remote location. Given a very nice car, almost new, but much bigger than the car I wanted. When driving in Europe, I prefer a smaller car because the roads are so narrow. Upon return, tried to contact them for a clarification on early opening hours, and could only email - they responded with a question back to me and then did not respond to my query. It worked out because they do open at 7:30am; had to wait 30 minutes for the next shuttle to the airport - I had given myself one hour, so it was all fine.
Loved the car, a hybrid (Yaris). A smooth, quiet ride, ample space for 2 people and moderate luggage and good performance on all roadways. Easy to park and easy on fuel. Check-in was not pleasant however, with a counter person who wasn’t clear on procedure. My check-in took much longer than others around me because he entered incorrect information in the wrong places. I understand that newbies need some patience. I have lots, but please ... if staff aren’t sure what to do they should be asking for help from a co-worker. Also, too much pressure to purchase more insurance. As a seasoned driver with many miles (and rentals) behind me I do my research to ensure I am adequately covered. Stop trying to upsell me.
Better description about their non insurance on the rental page. Ie if you breakdown you will need to solve it as it is not insured. This would have made me book with another rental company. More clarity on what is the booking paying for and not so that a better choice could be made
