Cons: Bedroom was dark and dingy, and a bit cramped. Bathroom was very good and clean. Bread at breakfast was too hard to eat.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very Good Basic Hotel - very clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were spotless, tidy , bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean and fully functional. We only stayed overnight as we were breaking a long journey - but it was perfect for that. The Hotel is easy to access from out of town. there is plenty of parking as its located next to a shopping centre - that had everything including a fuel forecourt. We didn't eat in the hotel as its only a short distance from the town centre - on the canal ( useful tip is to use the shortcut thru the Car dealership next door - it cuts 5 minutes off the walk into town). Redon was surprisingly interesting and very picturesque - with the canals meeting the river and all the old building around it. plenty of bars and restaurants within a 10 minute walk of the hotel as is the town centre. All in All we enjoyed our stay in Redon.
Cons: No complaints here- the Hotel is a basic 2 star -the views aren't fantastic but very well kept and managed and well located for amenties.
7.5 Good
Pros: Easy to find, but access through shopping carpark was not easy on a bike. Secure parking for bikes Small but quiet, comfortable rooms Good breakfast..
7.5 Good
Pros: Good Hotel, shame it's so close to a shopping mall, we stayed in July when it was hot , difficult to ventilate the room hence the uncomfortable nights stay, would have been fine if it was dull or raining. Plus some person had a long telephone conversation at approx 3 am which i'm sure everyone else could hear.
Cons: lack of ventilation and noisy guests
8.0 Excellent

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good buffet breakfast. We could walk in a few minutes from the hotel to a nice pedestrian street, and beyond to downtown.
Cons: We had a bit of trouble finding the hotel, which was back in the corner of a new shopping mall. But once we had found it, we could tell it was really nice, inside and out. It was actually convenient to have stores so close by.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast. Clean. Safe bike parking.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Just the job for a stop over. Room practical, excellent shower. Staff very helpful. I had lost my adaptor and a replacement was found from one someone else had left behind! Big thanks. Good restaurant within walking distance. Our bikes were securely locked up. Ticked all the boxes for us.
Cons: Nothing

ibis budget Redon - Redon - Bedroom
7.8 Good (997 reviews)

The ibis budget Redon hotel (formerly Etap) is 10 minutes from the town center. Ideally located where the Morbihan, Loire Atlantique and Ille-et-Vilaine departments meet, it is the perfect base for visiting La Gacilly, Rochefort-en-Terre, Saint-Just and more. The whole team will be delighted to welcome you before 11am or between 5pm and 9pm.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very impressed with Ibis Budget, great value for money and excellent location, very helpful and friendly staff who spoke excellent English, top class breakfast for the money, this was my first experience of Ibis budget and I will definitely stay with them again.
Cons: The staff, the location and above all the value for money.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful lady running reception. Arranged for our bikes to be stored overnight on the premises. Very clean room.Located on the outskirts of Redon opposite a small retail park with supermarket and fast food restaurant. Nevertheless a quiet location on the outskirts of the town.
Cons: Nothing
5.5 Okay
Pros: The price
Cons: Car park not secure. Cleaning patchy. Smelt of cigarette smoke. Room very small. Shower very small.
4.5 Okay
Pros: everything would have been fine except for the poor management - see below
Cons: The towels weren't clean and I had to ask for new ones. The drain plug in the basin did not work. The right-hand bedside light did not work. The waste bins had not been emptied.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, happy to store our bikes. Room was well appointed, comfy bed and lovely hot shower, advice given for eating in the evening which was brilliant.
Cons: We were cycling so a little too far from the city centre for us and up a hill at the end of a long day. In a car no problems but we had to get a taxi back in to the city for something to eat.
7.5 Good
Pros: The Bed was very comfortable - but only one very small pillow, and the room was very clean although very basic. We were visiting friends and family around Redon, so for us the location was fine and it was very easy to find. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful.
Cons: The room wasn't very well insulated so we could hear a lot of noise from other rooms and from people talking loudly in the corridors at night. Thought it was a bit overpriced for the standard of the room - have stayed in cheaper hotels that have had better room facilities eg Kettle.
7.5 Good
Pros: Shower was nice and hot, the welcome could not have been better.
Cons: Hairdryer would be useful but realize that budget hotels do not have this facility so may not use again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice helpful staff - looked after our bikes.
Cons: No air con.
7.0 Good
Pros: The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, everything worked okay. Perfectly adequate stop-over place for not very much money.
Cons: Considering the price I don't have any quibbles. Such hotels are almost always in the commercial zones - ideal for the commercial traveller, not quite so for tourist who may want to take a look around the town or city. But for the price...
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing, we only wanted to have a bed for the night, nothing fancy but to be quiet and clean and we did not found that unfortunately. Nathalie Field
Cons: Everything from the strong cigarette smell through the night, even though it is a non smoking hotel, very thin walls, so much so that the family next to our room and the surrounding rooms for that matter could have been in the room with us (that is hearing them talking, going to the loo and so on...) and not because they were particularly noisy, just because of the shoddy construction of the building to finish with the state of the quilt - I was told it was fine, just burnt!!!!
