Pros: Súper cute and clean inside. Comfortable beds. Really nice facilities. Hosts were friendly, and very interesting people to chat with. I have to visit Renfrew for work occasionally and this was a surprise little gem that I will use in a heartbeat over local hotels.
Cons: Pulling up to the place after sundown, neighbourhood looked a little sketchy (morning showed it wasn’t) but what a find inside!

Pros: Janet and Barry were great hosts! There B&B was clean and cute. The breakfast was exceptional.. wonderful home cooking and great homemade jams. We also liked the hand picked flowers that were on the dining room table. We would definitely recommend this B&B to friends and family.
Pros: Very nice people. We had a really good breakfast with homemade cornbread and jams. Our room had a lovely enclosed balcony, which was nicely decorated. The house is very clean and comfortable.
Cons: A queen size bed would be better than the double that we had, but I cant really complain - I knew this when I booked the room.

Pros: The place was very nice. Comfy beds. Kitchen with pretty everything you would need. We used the bbq area for some sausages. It was great! Great pressure in the shower. Hot water. We came for a fishing trip. It was close to all the lakes we wanted to visit. Very peaceful place. We will definitely be back.
Pros: Although the motel is older, it is very clean and comfortable! Loved having the kitchenette and the outdoor bbq's!! We didn't get to use the campfire but appreciated that it was available! Definitely would stay here again!
Pros: Great place to stay when visiting nearby friends with a cottage.
Pros: Allo The place is beautiful. I loved to do bbq near the room. The kitchen is really practice and functionnal. The bed and the pillow are really comfortable. I’m really happy to choose that place. I crossed the road and i can swim in the lake, take a seat on the little Beach. I recommand that place no problem.
Pros: Very clean. Great site. Well kept property. Awesome quilts on bed !
Pros: Excellent motel room. Huge room and great beach. Everything you need is in the room! Would definitely go back!
Pros: The check in person was nice.
Cons: First I would like to say that this review is honest and not meant to be harmful to the property owner, yet has to be written because we feel the listing and booking.com site is misleading. I booked this place on booking.com because the pictures showed a beach side HOUSE with rooms and a kitchen and comfortable amenities. What we got was a small, dated room in a Motel that is no where near what you first see on the booking site. When we arrived late at night, the check in was in a basement where apparently someone lives. We were surprised to find out that we were not in a beach house on the lake but a BEACH VIEW room in a dated motel with a dirt parking lot, and a mosquito infested room. There was a fly swatter on the wall so you could kill these nasty bugs. While you slept, the mosquitoes would attack and wake you. My assumption is that there was some vent they were coming in from or the cleaning person would leave the door open and let the bug in. We did not hear from any staff the whole time which was fine nor did we want to approach them regarding the bug issue. Our neighbors at the motel appeared to LIVE there and every evening there would be one man sitting outside coating himself in bug spray while smoking and watching some show on his device. Later in the week we accumulated more neighbors who would hang outside their room with shirts off and plenty of beer. Honestly, it did not feel safe and if I were with my wife and kids, I would have left as soon as I saw this place. What is most upsetting is the fact that there are 48 4- 5 Star reviews of this place. It is deceiving and in my opinion a sneaky attempt to get you to stay at this less than desirable RESORT as the title claims to be. That leads me to the last point. This place is called a RESORT. Resort implies that you have pools and sidewalks and on site food and drink. This Motel has none of that. It is at best a LAST RESORT if you can not find anywhere else to stay WHICH is by far not the
Pros: The room was spacious

Cons: There must have been cats in there in the past as I developed bad allergies all night specific to cat fur - which I can tell very quickly as I react to it very specifically
Pros: Lots of space, great kitchen.
Cons: Hard water.
Pros: Very nice room, I would of liked a spot nearer to the parking lot for my elderly mother. Either than that it was a beautiful spot, even in the winter. I look forward to seeing it in the summer.
Pros: Joanne texted us the details the day of our stay. Which surprised me. No hotel ever does that, so I appreciated her concern. She really cared.
Cons: Nothing really. It’s the perfect spot if you’re a couple in Calabogie for the weekend.

Planning an event in Bristol? This cabin has 2000 square feet (186 square meters) of space consisting of conference space and a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Lodge has a very peaceful and family friendly atmosphere! It has a beautiful sandy beach on the lake and a large playground for children! The cabins are really old but it adds to the rustic feel. The cabin itself had a very nice picnic and fire pit area. The beds could have been a lot comfier and some floor boards were dangerously rotten...but you really can't complain for the price you pay. Everyone we ran into was extremely friendly and this park just has a great atmosphere! We had problems with our car but immediately we had other cottagers come to our rescue without even asking! The young girl who works there is an absolute super star! She had to run the entire restaurant and patio area, all while checking in guests at the front desk with no help. She literally ran EVERYTHING! We could not believe the amount of work this poor girl had to take on, but what an absolute champion! She was smiling and giggling through it all even though some people were being completely ignorant to her. Koo-dos to her!
Cons: The shower is only open 8am-8pm as you need a key to access. Beds are not comfortable. Rotten Floor Boards in the Cabins.
Pros: The location is beautiful
Cons: The cabin was dirty and old, and needs maintenance. In adition no heat in the cabin, and no warm water and it wasn't mentioned on the site, before I have booked it. We booked for 2 nights, and had to leave after the first night because it was way too cold for the kids to stay. Got No refund for the second night. So way overpriced for what you get.
Pros: It is very rustic and has a nice beach
Pros: I did like everything. The cabin was exactly what I needed. My daughter had rented a private cottage with 3 bedrooms and it was a 2 minute walk for me to get there. So I could take a shower if I wanted to and had my meals with them. Bonus, my 5 years old granddaughter decided to have a sleepover during my stay. I had breakfast twice at the restaurant and I can rate it 10/10.
Cons: There is nothing I didn't like really. I just would have liked to have a frying pan in the cabin.
Pros: Loved the fire pit. Cabin was a nice size. Breakfast was a good price and very delicious Staff was excellent
Cons: The cabin Floorboards are quite damaged, also no hot water.
Pros: The location close to our event The beach! The setting in the pines.
Cons: Beds were futons so not very comfy. Thought Sunday brunch was a bit pricey for what you got.
Visit Days Inn and Conference Centre Renfrew hotel, within driving distance of Arnprior South Renfrew Municipal Airport, adjacent to the Trans-Canada Highway, and just 80 kilometres from Ottawa International Airport (YOW). Rooms have complimentary wireless internet, TV and desk. Amenities include 4 meeting rooms, restaurant, gym, outdoor pool and complimentary continental breakfast. Attractions include Bonnechere Caves, McDougall Mill Museum, NHA/NHL Birthplace Museum, CFB Petawawa Military Museum, Canadian Airborne Forces Museum, Shaw Woods Outdoor Education Centre and Coulonge Falls Park.
Pros: The location is great. Directly off the highway, close to amenities. Also, not many choices for accommodations in this area so this was handy to access.
Cons: The hotel is dated and expensive for the location. My daughter and I stayed overnight for a wedding in Quebec. There are not a lot of accommodation choices in this area. It is like the owners know people are going to have to stay there so the quality of the facilities are not in line with the price per night. We were there in July and there was a Christmas wreath hanging in the foyer.
Pros: Pool, bed was very comfortable, price was reasonable compared to other hotels
Cons: Breakfast was cheaper than other hotel I stayed at on my trip
Pros: Good for the price. Convenient location.
Cons: A little old so it’s got a bit of musty smell, but it’s generally clean. Bedding and sheets look a bit old. The stay was generally good and pretty satisfied.
Pros: it was quiet and clean
Cons: couldn’t check in early
Pros: The hotel was close to everything, friends going to the same event were staying there as well so we were able to share travelling
Cons: Hair dryer did not work and I had not brought one
Pros: I was very happy with the room. Recently renovated, very clean, comfortable beds. Noteworthy points to me: they accommodated early checkin without issue and with no additional charge. USB charge Ports by the beds are a nice feature. Most important to me: the room was already cool when I walked in. Most hotel chains' rooms are hot when you walk in, and it takes 4hours before the room is comfortable enough to sleep, later waking up freezing. Good job on this
Cons: Breakfast was Ok, but minimalist
Cons: June bugs in the room. Clerk could not, would not give the usual government worker discount. Refused to ask for assistance from a manager. Food at breakfast was not fresh. Pillows were the size of couch cushions ( too small). My fat head had trouble staying on the mini pillow.
Cons: Everything is run down and falling apart. The AC is ancient and very noisy. There was a letter in the room warning about an insect infestation. FYI we stayed in two other Days Inn hotels in other cities the nights before and after this one (at a slightly lower price too) and they were palaces compared to this dump.
Cons: There was a large electrical box on the lower roof that made a loud humming noise all night. This electrical box was right outside the window of our room. It was very difficult to sleep with the noise. Otherwise the hotel met my expectations.
Pros: Clean and comfortable.
Cons: The included Continental breakfast it's a joke. Open at 6h30, it was almost gone by 7h00 with no refill. No eggs, no cold cuts, nothing warm or hot. Just some pastries and one type of cereal.
Pros: room was just, "ok"
Cons: gardens overgrown hallways dingy and had an unpleasant odour
Pros: Nice people clean
Cons: The room are very nice The beds were a little to hard for us so had a sore back in the morning. But over all was a nice stay.
