Pros: Awesome hotel. Value for money. Great location, staff and breakfast.
Cons: There is a construction work going on in second floor, and noise starts at 8 am. I woke up, and couldn't sleep further. I complained to to hotel management also for this.
Pros: Cleanliness and location
Cons: Hotel staff didn't know what the local channel for CBS.
Pros: Price of room was very reasonable. The room was clean and had adequate linens and pillows. There was coffee, juice, pastries available each morning. The bathroom was small but clean and tidy. The refrigerator came in very handy.
Cons: Construction on the roof (?) was noisy.
Pros: Nothing it was disgusting. Would never stay there again
Cons: The room was not clean - the pillows were all yellow and dirty - there was blood on the sheets - it was overall a terrible hotel
Pros: I love that this hotel is near Montreat and in walking distance to beautiful downtown Black Mountain. It is in the mountains, but there are good local restaurants (Trailhead, Louise's Kitchen, & Dobra's tea shop). Fun trip!
Cons: It was a bit expensive
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of fluffy pillows. It is located just off the Interstate exit so it's easily accessible. There are restaurants and a grocery store nearby.
Cons: The door in our room was hard to open. There was a gap at the bottom of the door and a gap where the curtain closed. There's a mirror on the wall that could be seen through the gap giving people outside a view into the room.
Cons: Bedding had stains. Not cool.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Decent complimentary breakfast. Nice view of the mountains. Dog friendly a major plus. Front desk manager even came around to say hello to our little furry traveler.
Cons: Not a thing.
Pros: Was very clean and better than expected for two star hotel.
Cons: too pricey for a two star motel
Pros: It was very clean and comfortable. Convenient location
Cons: The bathroom was VERY small!

Pros: This was a quaint old bed and breakfast and was exactly what I was looking for. The grounds were beautiful. Everything was clean, and breakfast was great!
Pros: The tub in the middle of the room. Innkeeper.
Cons: Bed and mattress... not suitable for making passionate love.
Pros: The hotel was conveniently located about 15-20 minutes from Asheville. It reflects all of the quintessential elements of 1800s charm, and visitors will instantly be transported to another era. The grounds are beautiful as well. It was a great anniversary!
Cons: It did not bother my husband and me, but this BnB did not have air conditioning, which might an inconvenience to some. The breakfast, although delicious, was a bit small. Overall, not many downfalls.
Pros: The historical house was great to see inside.
Cons: Very small room
Pros: The history/Chestnut walls/acreage/staff/windows/comfy bed/lots of room in B & B/good food/antiques
Cons: Everything was great except that someone arranging for something to do with seafood woke us up directly under our window at 6:30 am
There are lots of nice shops and galleries in downtown Black Mountain. it is a fun place to visit.
Pros: Lovely old, very old house set back in the trees. Our room had windows all the way around two sides. Nice view of the yard and trees. Lots of cool air. Breakfast was local strawberries, eggs with cheese and herbs and a fabulous cream cheese pastry roll
Cons: The house was built in the 1800's. The updating to include a bath in the room has reduced the size of the room. It was comfortable, but a bit small.
Did not like for the stars given.
Cons: It was very old, not a good neighborhood, no good eating places close. Lighting terrible. Needs a lot of work.
