8.8 Excellent
Pros: The service, the bedroom, the location which is so close to the beach.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good hotel with strategic location in front of the ocean. Wide room with confortable bed and great bathroom with both shower and tub. Very clean
Cons: Disappointing breakfast - no eggs/proteins, just mean coffee and bread/muffins, milk
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location.
Cons: Continental breakfast could offer more selection.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: The brown carpet was dull and old fashioned - needs updated to beach house colours - dark blue or grey!!
7.0 Good
Pros: The location is awesome and the rooms are nice. The staff was very friendly as well.
Cons: Even with the GUARANTEED 4:00PM check in, we did not get into our room until about 5:00 and even then did not have our bags. And to top things off we were placed on the ground level. We had an event to attend and were forced to rush and were ultimately late. Very disappointed!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Breakfast: poor selection. Only bread, beverages (filtered coffee, tea, juices ), granola and one choice of packed yogurt. It is better to pay for breakfast and to receive more option than to have poor breakfast for free.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was excellent. Very clean! Good size room with a nice balcony.
Cons: Great location! Beautiful view. Staff were awesome and very accommodating.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent. Staff were friendly and courteous.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely! Staff was fabulous. Highlights were the view from our suite facing the marina and the rooftop jacuzzi. Excellent location and enjoyed riding bikes on the Strand up to Hermosa. Bonus: memory foam mattress! Staff was extremely accommodating and even brought us a microwave so that we could heat up some leftovers from a nearby restaurant. They even placed our kids' stuffed animals in cute positions on the beds. Really made us feel welcome.
Cons: Surprisingly poor quality sheets on the beds, but that was our only real complaint. (Towels and bathroom amenities were lovely! Kids enjoyed the patio soaking tub and bath salts.) Wish there was a discount offered for Marina bicycle rental because we needed kids bikes and the hotel didn't offer them. Complimentary breakfast was lovely if a bit sparse.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel. All of the staff is excellent. Leo and the customer service staff are fantastic. They work hard to enthusiastically accommodate any request. The restaurant is great too, especially the complimentary breakfast. Stan at the restaurant in the mornings is fantastic. Definitely will be back at the Shade when in the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We made the booking in the middle of the night and got an excellent room for a fair price. Breakfast was on a simple side, but the roof pool with a view over the harbour was great. Very attentive stuff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow! Fantastic stay. We began and ended our Thanksgiving week trip staying at Shade. Leo is amazing, as well as everyone else who go out of their way to provide the best experience possible. Very reasonable for all you get. The beaches were great and right there to enjoy in either direction. The continental breakfast and service by Stan at the restaurant were fantastic. Dinner was nice sitting outside with the personal fire pits and view. We'll be back!

Pros: Loved staying here and I’m sorry it was only for one night. But I’ll be back!
6.3 Good
Cons: Bath tub. Very strange!! When I registered the girl was not very knowledgeable or very accommodating! Not the best amenities for the the price. What is the problem with buying decent toilet paper. Also no makeup mirror, wouldn’t mind if I wasn’t paying as much.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location, clean rooms, comfortable bed, clean pool area, excellent happy hour and breakfast options, friendly/help staff
Cons: Lighting in bathroom is very poor, loud in hallways (poor insulation?), rooftop patio always seemed to be booked out for private functions so unavailable for guest use
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The bed was a little toosoft for my back. I’m used to a firm bed, other than that the room and location exceeded my expectations! Will definitely stay there again!

Pros: Great location. Very clean and well managed.
6.2 Good
Cons: The breakfast was very poor and if u need something more u have to pay

Pros: Lovely rooms, good pool and hot tub and kind staff. The extra amenities were much appreciated- happy hour, breakfast and even bike rentals!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable. Everyone was very friendly!
4.5 Okay
Pros: I was put in the first room by the entrance and the noise of the staff began around 6am. Visit to the front desk was as if I didn’t exist. Expensive for such horrible experience and zero concern for customer service. I flew in for a job interview and I was so tired and unable to rest or sleep.
Cons: The zero concern for me as a guest. Noise by staff was bad. My room was 138, how awful that I was even charged! Had I been asked or seen any concern for me as a customer during checkout I would have voiced my concern but I was barely acknowledged.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Having to rent the beach bikes , they should be free to hotel guests to take out . The entire stay they were just sitting there and not being used .
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazing, friendly, and very helpful
Cons: Elevator is slow. Lol
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I liked the wine tasting, swimming pool and jacuzzi when it was available, the cleanliness of the room and the appliances came in handy. Complimentary breakfast was descent and somewhat tasty; I liked the make it yourself waffles. The location of the hotel was great and the events/pier were nearby, super nice. My family enjoyed the fireworks and having their own rooms. We enjoyed our stay!!
Cons: The toilet paper is far back from the toilet seat; I hear the walking on the above floor while trying to sleep; and occasional door slamming.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: Staff and price for what you get.
The Culver Hotel - Culver City - Building
4
9.1 Excellent (719 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The upscale Culver Hotel is a charming historic property in the heart of trendy downtown Culver City. It is famous for housing extras during the filming of the Wizard of Oz in 1938, and plenty of Hollywood stars have called the hotel home over the years. The general atmosphere is upbeat and friendly and appeals to all travelers. Located in downtown Culver City, on the west side of Los Angeles, The Culver Hotel is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, theaters, film studios, and galleries, plus it provides easy access to Hollywood, downtown Los Angeles, Santa Monica, and LAX. While there is plenty of foot traffic, the area and the hotel are not overwhelming. The amenities at the hotel are slim, only featuring a small fitness and business center, but the dining options make up for the lack of physical activities. Meals are served around the clock at the hotel and guests can dine at the communal table in the Crystal dining room, in the lobby in front of the cozy fireplace, or alfresco on the patio. A free continental breakfast buffet, daily happy hour tea, and nightly live music are all popular with guests. Accommodations at the hotel are elegant and unique with a vintage and modern design and look. Pillow-top mattresses, marbled desks, mini-fridges, and snack trays are in-room amenities. Rooms vary in size and shape because of the historic nature of the building but all were renovated in 2013 and feature up-to-date amenities. When the rich and the famous have maintained part-time residences within the hotel, and the hotel has appeared in movies such as The Little Rascals; the destination is a must-see.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location Staff Complimentary Breakfast
Cons: Room maintenance
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful ambience. Very "homey", with a gracious and polite staff.
Cons: The room was relatively small, with an overhead and noisy air conditioner. The "Velvet Room" at the hotel appeared charming, but despite the fact that the hotel manager recommended going there on a Thursday night, we could not get served there at around 9:50pm because they were "shutting down". Ironically, we had tried to order drinks at the Velvet Room bar 10 minutes earlier, but there were too many people at the bar to get our order in, and by the time we located a table in the bar, which was about 80% occupied, we were told that management had instructed the bartenders to "shut things down". Needless to say, we were miffed that the hotel manager had highlighted the speakeasy as a charming amenity of the hotel at the morning breakfast , only to be shut out from the premises prior to 10:00pm on the very same evening.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The whole atmosphere of the hotel is great, and the rooms are really nice. The hotel offers free jazz in the hotel bar each night and shows old silent films on the wall which is something a little different.
Cons: The breakfast is a fairly long way below average - very limited selection and not particularly fresh. It's included in the price (seemingly a rarity locally) but paying a little bit to get something better would have been preferable.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: I had my 30th birthday at your hotel on my last night as a 29 year old “Saying Goodbye To My Roaring 20’s”!! It was the PERFECT spot for this occasion with the class and history of your amazing hotel. Your room blew me away with its classic 1920’s-1930’s style/decor. Every personal detail created a positive impression on me from the tub to the lamp shades to the chandelier. Thank you
Cons: 1) I was a little surprised to see that I did not have shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a toothbrush in the hotel room when I arrived. I have never not had the basic bathing essentials at a hotel - ever 2) The shower was difficult to use (although very beautiful)
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: None
Cons: Request a refund for two miserable nights. Shower system was broken the first night and we couldn’t use it without the help of a screw driver to tighten the shower head. Asked to have it fixed but the second night was worse. No repairs were done in spite of our request. Maintenance at the Culver Hotel is poor. Could have stayed at a better place for a better price. Will never stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Its was so comfy and cool
7.5 Good
Pros: Not a regular hotel, the bar at nights.
Cons: Breakfast was disorganized. Some mornings we couldn't find a table, or the tables weren't set or clean. There was always something missing from the breakfast table (cups, or fruit, or juice). There are shorthand of people. Was difficult to ask for expresso coffee or the bill. All mornings where the same, no variation. Asking for eggs was al odisea. The avenue can have traffic noise.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The common spaces are charming. Nice live music at noght
Cons: Not enough plugs in room. Air conditioning just fair. A little noisy,
7.5 Good
Pros: Olde worlde feel, a good social hub in the evenings, rooms generous in size and well furnished
Cons: Gym with one running machine isn't a gym, zero customer service at breakfast - help yourself unattended buffet, massive construction works next door
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Best hotel in the area, staff were great, continental breakfast was tasty, hotel bar and restaurant were very nice, very comfortable beds
Cons: Not a whole lot in the area, no pool, felt slightly pricey
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Safe, Clean, Comfortable, Upscale and friendly. I loved the bed and bedding. The flat steak was one of the best I have ever tasted. I liked that you could open the window and get fresh air or turn on the air conditioner.
Cons: Breakfast was good except the bacon was almost raw. I informed the management and they were very responsive and accepted my comment in a way that was appreciative. I was in a rush. I'm certain if I sent it back they would have sent me a new dish. Though they probably could have taken it off my bill. I did eat the eggs and they were delicious.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: High Tea was the best!
Cons: Not a thing

Pros: I like the hotel a lot. The room was clean and spacious. The property well kept and managed. Breakfast was excellent. The added security with the key card to access the elevator and on premise parking was great.
Cons: I have to prelude this comment that this is not the hotel's fault. The guests above my room had heavy feet and at 11:30 pm, they were still moving a lot that made it difficult to sleep.

Pros: Hotel shuttle was convenient, short drive from LAX. Front desk staff was awesome, Flight Deck's staff was friendly despite the late hour, we ordered at 10:15p and they close at 10:30p, pepperoni pizza passed the kid's taste test, the LAX burger and Ballast Point sculpin passed mine. Morning breakfast had numerous options, cold cereal, oatmeal, waffles, eggs, fruits, coffee, different juices. Most of all, the spacious room and bathroom was great.
Cons: Everything was great.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The decor was amazing with a beautiful scent throughout. The bed was unbelievably comfortable and the room was spacious. The lobby lounge area was a beautiful space to relax and have a drink.
Cons: The Wi-fi kept dropping out which I wouldn’t expect from a hotel with a $30 daily service fee. The water service in our room was hit & miss on the last couple of days. Loungers around the pool were very limited and there was no one monitoring if they were in use. We could not get one as they lay empty with used towels on. Would expect a hotel of this calibre to have a better poolside operation.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Facilities are beautiful, staff is super friendly. Lots of character - way better than the other nearby chain hotels. Pool terrace has a great view of the beach - Palm Terrace rooms are great since you get a patio!
Cons: Pool is quite small.

5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff was very nice and the location was convenient. The shuttle to the beach was nice.
Cons: The hotel was basically empty and they put us in a room across the hall from the washer an dryer/vending machines. The room had a buzzing hum that continued through the night. It sounded like a generator. Hot water dribbled out of the faucet.

Pros: Location was great! Good products.
Cons: Bathroom pretty tiny. No outdoor space at this property, i.e. roofdeck or patio dining
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Well- appointed room, good location, nice staff
Cons: resort fee was charged, but hotel does not have any resort amenities - no pool, spa, outdoor space
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel is very well located, one block away from the Ocean dr and a few blocks away from the Promenade. That was our main reason to choose the hotel. The rooftop restaurant is very nice and no so expensive, considering the prices in the area. The staff was nice, specially the people from the restaurant. The "breakfast included" offer consists in a $50 usd daily credit to use in the restaurant at breakfast hours; the credit is enough for a couple to have a good, tasty breakfast. When we had a problem, they tried to find a solution and compensate us for the inconvenience.
Cons: The hotel is quite expensive, in line with the area. But at that price you would expect a bit more from the property. There is no pool, and there was a bit of noise every morning from 7am (housekeeping). There are just two elevators for 18th floors and some times you needed to wait a while for them. I let them know in advanced that our 21th wedding anniversary would be one of the days that we were there and there was not even a small detail, not even a note at the room or something to let us know that they care about it; that was a bit disappointing considering the hotel level. The first day, we arrived at almost 4pm and our room was not ready although the check-in time was from 3pm; they apologized and invited us to have some snacks in the restaurant on them till the room was ready at about 5pm. The delay was not cool but they look for a way to minimize the effect. Overall, my impression was that it lacks the final touch that push you to come back.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff, location
Cons: Pool on property
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Literally Every thing.
Cons: It’s a bit far from the beach + no pool
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I love the location the most, its proximity to 3rd st boulevard, the beach, soul cycle and some great restaurants.
Cons: I would have loved a swimming pool but with the beach so close it wasn't the end of the world.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel, luxurious. Penthouse bar and restaurant is gorgeous and also where the gorgeous people hang out.
Cons: Parking is valet only and at $43.15 per day. No pool but who needs that when the beach is on your doorstep?
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and hi tech rooms
Cons: Little too pricey
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, ambiance, views and roof top restaurant were all excellent
Cons: of the 3 elevators in the hotel, only 1 was working while we were there....resulting in delays in getting around.
The Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey - Marina del Rey - Building
9
8.9 Excellent (1,306 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Built in 1991, The Ritz Carlton Marina del Rey sits on one of the largest human-made harbors in the country. With a waterfront location on a harbor, business travelers and boating enthusiasts are the main clientele at the hotel. The Ritz Carlton Marina del Rey is located in Marina Del Rey, on the water but not the beach. Just a short drive to Santa Monica and Venice and a painless drive to the Los Angeles International Airport, the hotel attracts business travelers who enjoy the upscale chain's rewards program and its consistent luxury. However, a 10-to-20-minute drive will take sightseeing guests to public beaches, shopping malls, Beverly Hills, and Hollywood Boulevard. Most of the clientele are there for events ranging from business meetings to bar mitzvahs to weddings, and the hotel offers ample facilities to accommodate them with more than 30,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space, including a beautiful wedding gazebo. There is also a lovely pool, nice spa, fitness center, two tennis courts, and a free business center. A delicious restaurant is on-site offering New American cuisine, and a poolside restaurant and bar also caters to guests. Accommodations at the Ritz are spacious and feature standard rooms with good sleeping options and features like Frette linens, featherbeds, and Bulgari toiletries. The Ritz brand is not known for its striking style, and the rooms at this hotel are highly nautically themed. While staying at The Ritz Carlton Marina del Rey, guests can wake up and walk out the back door to the water. However, the water only features docks and boats, perfect for boaters and business travelers needing a fresh start to the day.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: That was an unforgettable weekend at Ritz! Christina and Crystine from guest relations made our special occasion even more special and now we plan to stay there every year to celebrate our anniversary.
Cons: No shuttle service from the airport
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and mostly quiet
Cons: Got the parking lot view but I guess that shouldn't surprise. Would still do it again.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Dirty, does not meet 5 star hotel in term of decorations, building, bathrooms showers are old and so dirty, quality of food...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Bed comfort some of the best in the world. Fresh clean. This hotel is pure quality. Been 11 years since I last stayed here and there are few I have stayed in of same quality.
Cons: The reception staff. Bell staff and lady behind the bar were all first class. However seating waiting for evening meal guests were forgotten no drinks etc. To the point of people moving to sit at the bar for service. Breakfast a similar story dirty dishes not cleared from table and no staff around for service. This was a shame as apart from the restaurant everyone else was 10/10 for service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at this hotel was so attentive and accommodating. I also loved the view from our room onto the pool and marina.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great service especially Mr. Berry in the lounge. He took good care about us and gave us a wonderful service.
Cons: The location far away from everything. Around the hotel the area is nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Food was under average
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just a couple of beefs with the hotel. The bathroom could be updated. The bathroom needs a shelf. The room needs an extra mirror, Not just in the bathroom. Otherwise everything was great!.
6.3 Good
Pros: Pillows and bed was very comfortable, housekeeping very friendly and helpful
Cons: Prices too high for food that was below average. Could not use the sitting areas to relax due to filming a movie there. Had to not talk once you came down from you room. Was told to be quiet due to filming. This was the whole day. Really!!!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I love Ritz Carlton and the comfort of the rooms is exceptional along with the staff. All the staff are helpful and accommodating.
Cons: but this stay was disappointing only because I booked this hotel specifically for the spa services and the steam and sauna were not working. I will frequent the hotel but hope they are able to rectify this. I would have preferred a discount due to the unavailability of those services.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very hospitable; great Staff; very well maintained
Cons: People were smoking marijuana in room next door when there was a no smoking policy !

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is fantastic. Parking is free and accessible. Close to everything in MB.
Cons: Bed was not comfortable.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I really like having the "Coffee Bean" coffee machine at my disposal, 24/7 in the lobby area. You can make fresh coffee and hot chocolate to your liking! The staff is friendly, the evening "Happy Hour" was cozy (good food/drink/friendly). I'll return!
Cons: It would be nice to see cushions on the outdoor seating. They are huge, boxy, deep wicker seating that is not conducive to comfort or relaxation.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great service and friendly staff
Cons: No paper towels or napkins in room, no utensils and a very small flat screen tv
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was very nice.. the patio was charming..and the continental breakfast was delicious.. overall the stay was very pleasant
Cons: No ocean view
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice very clean!!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super clean and staff was awesome. Considering the location, I expected parking to be an issue and there was ample parking :)
Cons: Room was a little stuffy because it was so long and narrow, needs a bit more ventilation - but that is being extremely picky because it was still a great room for the price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet property despite being on a major thoroughfares. Cleanliness and nice size space to accommodate 2 adults and a 3 yr old. Computer desk space that works for doing homework online. Shutters on windows are a nice touch instead of curtains helps to darken room so much that 3 yr old had to ask is it daytime. Breakfast and dinner were a great value and helpful in saving on cost of meals. All staff were friendly and helpful. Best of all parking was FREE!! Landscaping in the courtyard was beautiful. Lots of lovely flowers in bloom to look at.
Cons: Difficult Regulating the water temperature while showering was a bit annoying and toilet malfunctioning in room 209. Toilet was continuing to run and then not flush a few times. However, it was addressed promptly. Also the parking deck is quite vicarious to access and maneuver with a large SUV like mine. The entrance driveway is a huge hill that curves around down into the-underground parking deck. Also, many guests go to smoke in the underground deck causing the smoke to go up the elevator shaft polluting the air of this NONSMOKING facility.
4.3 Okay
Pros: The staff was generally nice though not as helpful as I would have liked. Washer/dryer available Breakfast was included and not bad for what it was. Good selection including hot buffet.
Cons: I didn't like the room, the price and ultimately the treatment I received which was dismissive. I paid way too much for the room I received (king accessible suite) a which I booked through this website. 2 nights with tax was just under$500 I guess I got what I paid for but what I paid for sucked and cost way more than what I saw the same room available for the following week. It was a single room with a sofa which I do not consider a suite. Spartan and cold furnishings. When asked about changing the room it was met with resistance and than sure for another $40 a night. When looking I saw the queen suite (actually a suite) available for the price I paid for the single room. Instead of providing customer satisfaction the Best Western Manhattan Beach gets this poor review
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything it was a true oasis very comfortable, calm and amazing I have tons of pictures feel free to reach out I will share them a really nice and roomy. All accommodations were provided. Very smooth experience. I am coming back.
Cons: Maybe outside heaters for night hang out it gets cold toward the evening.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and modern. Beautifully furnished and appointed. Wonderful staff! Roomy refrigerator with freezer that works really well: best of any hotel refrigerator that we have ever used. We booked a single king suite with sofa bed. We wanted a double queen room, but none were available. We would be arriving late, so our two kids would need to go straight to bed. The manager offered to have the sofa bed made up so we could put them to bed immediately. Then, while on our way, when we called to let the manager know when we’d be arriving, she said that she upgraded our room to a double queen suite at no extra charge. We were really grateful!
Cons: Wish it had a pool. Somehow we were under the impression that there was a pool. Also, the elevator seemed to be unusually slow. We tried to walk to the beach, but with all of our beach stuff, and the steep hills along the way, and two kids, the one mile distance seemed like five miles. By the time we reached the beach, we were thoroughly exhausted. Highly recommend driving to the beach, but the metered parking spaces can be very hard to get—prepare to drive around from lot to lot looking for someone who is leaving!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very accommodating to our every need and made us feel very comfortable. The continental breakfast is a must:) Also the best western surpassed my expectations with the design, decor, and size of the room. Definitely a must for those looking to get away to the beach; with Manhattan beach about a 15 min walk or 3 min drive
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was great. The courtyard is a nice place to unwind and the end of the day. Underground parking was safe and always available. Front desk staff and housekeeping staff were very helpful and friendly.
Cons: The hotel is not walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. So, you have to try and find paid parking spaces each time you visit the Manhattan Beach tourist area.

Cons: There's nothing in particular to highlight. Everything was ok but not off the charts, given the price. It's a 25 minute walk from downtown... or just Bird all the way there!

Pros: Beautiful hotel. Very good restaurant
Cons: Room size. Full of itself.
7.0 Good
Pros: We liked the jetted tub. Nice breakfast. Charming room.
Cons: Noisy room. For the price paid we expected a quieter room.
5.5 Okay
Pros: For 2700$ its could not be restricted! Terrible
Cons: Water on the ground in bathroom. Wind Loud sound in room coming on front door , like AC Super small room size No refrigerator
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location and setting..
Cons: The food and food service.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The pool service was exceptional! As was the front desk when we checked in. Can’t beat cocktails served to you by the pool with an ocean view right in Santa Monica.
Cons: The dinning downstairs in coast was subpar. We sat at the breakfast bar and waiting 15 minutes till someone came to clean. We had to ask for assistance three times. It was a holiday, but there was plenty of open seats. They clearly were understaffed down here. Staff was a little short and rude. However I paid $1,000 for the night. I work hard too and wanted to enjoy my day off. So I was annoyed by this. The bags did take forever to get to the room and our keys stopped working a few times. Again it was a holiday and I’m sure nutty for the staff.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: International staff were very warm and welcoming. It was my Birthday and they did many special things to help me celebrate. All facilities are beautifully maintained.
Cons: Nothing except it’s quite pricey.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Bed and linen etc wonderful
Cons: Aircon too hot, turned it down but couldn’t open a window which I would have liked to do. Having to pay for bathroom amenities. No classical music fm radio station to tune in to
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great property - views location etc.
Cons: They had blocked off the street - no notice or how to go there
5.8 Okay
Pros: Only thing I liked was Deer the front desk bellman.
Cons: I was told at check-in that our room would not be available until 5:00 PM. Check-in is no later than 4:00 PM. The lady at the front desk said there was nothing she could do. Of course this was unacceptable so I asked to speak with a manager. After a lot of back and forth with the manager she was able to find us a room. We went to the room to wait for our luggage. After 40 minutes without the luggage I went back to the front desk. I was told it was on the way. I returned to the room and waited another 20 minutes. No luggage. I was on my way back to the front desk when I ran into the bellman bringing up my luggage. He apologized and said the hour delay was because the hotel had misplaced my luggage. I will never go back to Shutters and will advise anyone who asks not to stay there. Overpriced with questionable service.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location. Service staff and housekeeping , pool , cuisine , comfort of room.
Cons: Front desk reception when checking in were rude , not very helpful , insulted my friend , and we could not get into our room till 5:00 when policy clearly indicates 4:00 usually 3:00. For the cost of lodging , they should be more professional and at least make u feel welcomed. We always stay at this hotel and this was the first year we had such a difficult check in process.

The food was very good, the atmosphere great (very trendy and busy in the evenings). Very convenient also for the airport (only ten minutes away by car). I think it's much nicer and better value than the large chain hotels nearby.

Pros: Breakfast can do better. 9/10 on that.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to check in and park
Cons: Hallways really needed a cleaning and vacuuming.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I LOVED this hotel!! Very clean room, daily housekeeping, attentive and friendly staff. I especially enjoyed the fitness center, basketball court, and fire pit.
Cons: The shower was nice but kind of weird. It is a standing shower with a glass "shield". There is no door closure. Instead, the back part of the shower is open. This is kind of a nuisance if you like to keep the steam inside the shower.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: My checkin was probably thee fastest check inn the staff was super friendly the bar was lovely and the bartender very accommodating!
Cons: Paying for parking? Doesn’t make sense to add another expense when it should be included with the stay but hey I guess it is la ? I would expect paying in downtown la not this area.

10.0 Excellent

9.3 Excellent
Pros: the rooms was spacious, the pool area was nice, even had a basketball court, something additional for the kids to do.
Cons: the treadmills in the exercise room were facing away from the door, kind of gave me an uneasy feeling that someone could come from behind while I was working out.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We had driven for a few hours on very little sleep, and we were not feeling well when we checked in to this hotel. We were so happy to find a clean, spacious, and comfortable room for us to relax in and get back on our feet. We travel to the LA area often, and we feel that this will become our new temporary home base when we are in the area.
Cons: The water pressure in the shower was very low, and the modern design of the shower caused the water to spray outside onto the floor of the bathroom. This is my only complaint about our stay here, and relative to all of the other things we loved, this was a small inconvenience.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was beautiful and convenient.
Cons: All.
