9.1 Excellent (89 reviews)
Overview Reviews

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully maintained garden, golf cars are an advantage for every apartment house and they are perfectly driven. Villa beautiful, perfectly equipped, clean pool, access to the sea was from the stairs not suitable for children.
Cons: Wifi connection worked only on the ground floor, tv on the first floor did not work at all. The staff is not very friendly, and are mostly oriented to Russian clients In the supermarket there was almost nothing to buy, no vegetables, no fruit, no butter or a choice of cheeses Fitness closed on sunday, works on fingerprint No children's corner, a few old toys and one little house On the sandy beach 6 deck chairs for the whole resort !!! It's not worth the money - everywhere is overpriced and you are dependent on the services of the resort
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Accommodation was great! Clean, spacious with amazing view!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location on Eden Island is great - close to the marina, a couple of nice beaches right there, a very nice shopping mall and nice restaurants within walking distance. The house itself was even better than we expected! It had everything we needed and more. Even a golf cart to drive around Eden Island with.
Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The environment was clean and serene. My apartments were beautiful. I loved driving the buggy everywhere. Was a different experience. Best place in Seychelles.
Cons: It was a little bit ridiculously priced. Especially cabs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Villa was as mentioned on booking.com. The facilities were great and the view was excellent. Michael was a great host and assisted us well.
Cons: One minor issue was the air conditioning in the main room. It was not cooling and needed to be fixed. Not a deal breaker though.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a great hotel which definitely jusitifies its five star rating. Rooms are very big, comfortable, and extremely quiet - we managed to have a very relaxing stay indeed. They are also well supplied with coffee, mineral water (I found it really tasty), and first class shampoos from Salvatore Ferragamo. The bed is very comfortable. The service is excellent - fast, precise, and non-obtrusive. The beach is great, so is the pool. The hotel is also very secure (there is a guarded private road leading to it). The restaurants are not cheap (which is to be expected) but I have to say that I had the best grilled tuna fish in my life there. Breakfast is great with many different options, including local jams and fruits. Best of all, however, are the Ladies In Red. Lavinia and Victoria were extremely knoledgeable and helpful and responded quickly to all our requests and questions. They give to the resort that little extra special thing. Thanks!
Cons: Nothing negative to say, really - it was a great stay. One of the lamps did not function properly and there was a small leak from the humidifier but these were quickly solved.
6.7 Good
Pros: Beach, sea, beach bar. Turtles have (compared to others on the island) nice space and is well cared for. The restaurant in the adjacent forest is very unusual I recommend to try it at least once.
Cons: Too many people. If you want to have a nice place by the sea you must occupy the chairs before breakfast. The upholstery of furniture in our room smelled of musty.
7.0 Good
Pros: The setting is incredible.
Cons: The staff were nice but inflexible and not especially accomodating. They could not offer change for my $100 because Kempinski "doesn't have a banking license" which sounded absurd. They offered us late check out the day before our intended check out date but on the day we were told we had to check out at the normal time. I couldnt sign F&B to the room because I hadn't opened my credit card apparently, which no one asked me to do at check in and the waiter seemed all too happy to announce audible to the surrounding tables. No one thing was bad it was simply a collection of "4 star" level guest services that really made me wonder why am I paying €600 per night, other than having booked late it seems an unjustifiably high price for the service offered. The location is great but service was mediocre.
7.1 Good
Pros: Amazing location and great staff!!
Cons: Property out of date and fairly overpriced. Little quality entertainment
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The resort is very nice, the beach is calmer than other places on the island. The resort is more family oriented, but overall very nice. Clean and beach is incredible and calm, good for snorkeling. Definitely recommend walking all along the beach.
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding in every respect
Cons: Tea/Coffee service slow at Breakfast the first couple of days. I made an observation to Reception and it was rectified immediately. Couldn't ask for better
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff, amazing breakfast and overall atmosphere. Very nice beach. Great Kids Club, very friendly for small kids
Cons: The lighting in the room not enough. A good reading lamp could have helped. The room and vicinity was not always clean enough.
Constance Ephelia - Port Glaud - Building
5
9.1 Excellent (2,602 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Constance Ephélia in Mahe Island, you'll be on the beach and 8 minutes by foot from Morne Seychellois National Park. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Immaculate. Great service. Very intimate as a resort, it is spread over a large area.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff are very welcoming, always smiling and happy to help. The room gets cleaned twice a day. They have nice entertaining activities like kayaking, paddling, zip lining, tortoise feeding, bike rental and many more. We were told that this resort is the biggest in the indian ocean and it truly is huge. They even have their own forest! We wished we could have stayed more.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The size of the resort is massive which makes you feel like you are exploring something new simply by staying within your resort each day. I loved that they have plenty of restaurants to choose from. Adam and Eve restaurant has to be their best! Also loved the number of activities they offer each day in a schedule. Guest relation staff is really great. We informed them that we are visiting for our first anniversary and they gave us a complimentary beautiful LED candle lit bedroom setup.
Cons: The two major annoyances would be the club carts/buggies used to transport to/from reception and the beaches take anywhere from 5-15 minutes. In prior resorts I’ve been to it is the standard to call them to your room and they arrive promptly. Especially annoying when you stay at south side and need to change 2 different club carts to reach north beach which is their main beach and the total time it takes exceeds 20 minutes which makes it frustrating when you want to get to your room fast and get all the sand off yourself and shower. Secondly in my worldwide travel experience I have not encountered any additional fee for room service/in room dining. Here they charge 150scr (10 Euros) JUST to order anything!! Which means you could crave a sandwich late night which may cost 12 Euros and have to pay an additional 10 Euros just to bring it to the room which makes no sense. Other than these issues the stay is perfect.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was so friendly it felt like family. Our room was comfortable, well appointed. We were on half board and found the daily buffets to be plentiful with something for everyone. The fresh fruit and fish dishes were excellent.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The property is beautiful. The rooms were comfortable and always clean.
Cons: The Seychelles in general and the property itself is fairly expensive. I would recommend going with the half board. Wasn’t familiar with the term at first so didn’t purchase that package. It includes breakfast and dinner. There really aren’t too many restaurants close by so unless you are out and about your captured at the resort.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 4 breakfasts and 2 lunches and dinners. we did not use any motorized activities
Cons: Difficulty in getting around the long distances. Buggies sometimes hard to find
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so nice and friendly and helpful Breakfast amazing Activity perfect Lovely gym and pools
Cons: Just WiFi is slow

7.0 Good
Pros: The rooms.
Cons: No ocean
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The resort is pefect in its details and tge way every thing was setup and crafted with nature
Cons: Perfect location for get away
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice ocean view villa on a good position. Clean and well maintained.
Cons: Service is below 5 star, from the breakfast when they are slow to take the plates, till the dinner - not caring much, no smile, trained to look the other way :( There was no hair conditioner in the bathroom, they forgot to bring clean towels, communication regarding transfer was not so smooth etc. I espected much more since price per night was quite high, even comparing with other two 5* properties we visited fed days before. Location a bit remote.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Style of property/houses, infinity pools and location of restaurants/bar
Cons: Beaches could be nicer
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was done to help and ensure that we enjoy our stay
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The private villas, options at breakfast and very helpful staffs.
Cons: Value of money. The rooms charges are on higher side.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are designed for relaxation by the sea view, with ample breeze.
7.0 Good
Pros: We thought the staff were tremendous. Suga/ Susantha , a gentleman from Sri Lanka, Marie Michelle and many of the staff who served us in the restaurant were fabulous. Even the gate keepers were very kind. I can’t say enough good things about their quality of service.
Cons: Of the 5 night 2 days the room was cleaned well by the housekeeping staff. One of the days we left a note as to our request and the other 2 days were poor and as a result we left a note. When we say poor we are referring to the expectation for A 5 star facility. The basics were done but the attention to detail was missed. Debris in the corner of the bathroom bathing area, washroom flush buttons not wiped and the main counter at the entrance to the room not wiped are a few details missed. My wife and I both work in a hospital setting with her as a nurse and I as a team leader for the housekeeping staff so we are familiar with standards of clean. Needless to say many of my colleagues are also former hotel employees for some of your rival franchises including the Four seasons. So for us especially in the midst of the current world situation, the attention to detail for cleanliness seems imperative. If anything it may require a bit more to ensure you guests feel safe. 2. We found that the seating section with the lookout area near the snorkelling booth that was below the restaurant wher you had breakfast was not kept well. Many of the chair cushions needed a clean or good brushing and most of the body of the chairs need to be washed or wiped down in order to reflect the excellence of the Hilton name. To be frank it looked un cared for and a few chairs I would not even sit on. 3. I also cook as a hobby and have a former industry chef from India also as a colleague and he had asked me to give a report on the food when we return. He has often given me his regime as a former chef I a hotel cabin and unfortunately I found the food mediocre. Breakfast was fabulous. We only ate at the Ocean view Bar as the Hilltop was closed and my wife did not fancy the maiN dining menu as a Vegan. Of the meals I had the beef medallions , Calamari and Caesar salad were mentionable. Everything else , once again as a 5 star establishment, did not meet the expectation in our opinion.

I am a regular customer of Four Seasons hotels & resorts. This one is the best I have crossed over. if I have been asked to rate this resort, I will definitely give it 10/10. Special thanks to Ritika Sood. She was a great help and an exceptional person with the help of customers.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is good, rooms are very nice, spacious modern bathrooms, great pool and direct beach access. Spa was good with lovely Balinese staff. Reception staff very helpful. Late check out was very helpful too.
Cons: Breakfast was average by hotel standards but acceptable. Other restaurants were limited for choice. Avoid the pizza at Pescado if like me you prefer a light crispy thin base, because it was thick, doughy and no way was it home made, looked like a bought frozen base was used. Gecko bar is decent enough and convenient, but limited choice again. Location is good for the excellent beach, but very limited for other nearby restaurants near the beach, only a handful and quality and decor is average to poor. It’s kind of stuck in the past. We had informed the hotel in advance that we were coming to spend 9 days to get married and honeymoon there. They had promised champagne and fruit in our room, which was a lovely gesture, and not expected. Unfortunately it didn’t materialise at any stage of our stay, including our wedding day, despite the lady on reception asking for our room number when she complimented my wife on her wedding dress as we left the hotel to go to the wedding. Despite all of the above we were relaxed all week and really enjoyed our stay on Mahe and will return.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The location was great. We also liked the cake, sparkling wine, and fruit plate for our honeymoon.
Cons: First, in our opinion the staff were often incompetent. For example, room service could not make change. For another example, it took over an hour to check in and we were forced to fill out a registration card multiple times. Second, our American Express card which was used to book our reservation was no longer accepted by the hotel. Third, the hotel property felt dated and in need of repair. Fourth, our room was infested with millipedes upon check in - the hotel staff would only remove them and did not offer us another room - the infestation continued throughout our stay. Fifth, we were promised a free 60 minute couples massage as part of the honeymoon package (it is listed on the hotel's website) - when we asked about this benefit, the staff told us we could purchase the 60 minute couples massage despite the fact it was listed as complimentary for honeymooners on the hotel's own website. All in all, in our opinion this resort presents itself as a five star property but in actuality more honestly a three star property. We felt like we did not get what we paid for.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: The Gheko bar served an excellent red snapper meal.
Cons: No air conditioning in bedroom, unbearably hot, we could not sleep, reception kept saying, ooh is it still not working, it never worked! Check in is very long and hot. Very dirty disgusting carpet and floor in room, you could not dare to walk barefoot in the room as it was so awful. The Seafood buffet served raw prawns which is unforgivable they could of poisoned us so I only ate dessert, the staff did not seem to be concerned about serving raw dangerous food. The hotel booked a car to take us to airport for 6:00 am, this was confirmed by reception the day prior to departure however on day of departure when we asked where the car was we we were told it was booked for 6:30 which meant we could possibly miss our flight, after a lot of stress we got a taxis at 6:15, very unprofessional and thoughtless staff. The gardens are nice but you feel wary as there is a security guard guarding the garden entrance. The breakfast had a lot of choice and there is a limited breakfast available for early checkouts. If you walk to hotel gates there are taxis available from 8ish so you can get into Victoria easily. Overall we would not recommend this hotel and certainly not revisit it, it is not a Savoy Hotel from the Fairmount Group, it is a russian company trading using the name Savoy which reception boast about!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was my birthday trip and I was travelling with a friend we had a small incident on our third day from 7 night stay we sent an email about it and the managers went out of their way to see what happened and how they could help. We returned from a day trip to a welcoming front desk personnel called Abedil, lovely guy make sure to check in -out with him on your next day who apologised on the hotels behlaf. Went back to the room to find an apology letter from the food and beverage manager Daria and got to meet her on last day when she wanted to personally ensure we had a good stay. Lovely staff and very attentive. A small extra was a towel swan made by a sweet housekeeper to brighten our day. That guy needs a raise :)
5.4 Okay
Pros: Good location near the beach
Cons: Hotel is quite old and not well maintained. Tables at the restaurant and even in the lobby as well as sun beds near pool were always sticky and dirty. Hotel staff is not helpful. Food at breakfast is ok but lacks variety, definitely not what you expect from 5 star hotel. I don’t recommend to have dinner at the hotel, it is super expensive.
7.0 Good
Pros: Hotel staff very supportive and welcoming
Cons: resort’s location is not that great, and the whole hotel is rather 4* not 5* facility
5.0 Okay
Pros: Very good breakfast and dinner
Cons: Very long waiting time during checkin
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room beautiful, beach fantastic and great breakfast and dinner. Thank you Melisa TOMAS for her reactivity and support !!
Cons: After dinner the entertainment could much better and longer; at GEKO bar they stop at 22:00 and you have to go out from the hotel to find a place with music. You have to do some improvement regarding this activity !! as well the consomption inside the hotel could be better!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is on the beach, very good swimming pool. Nice restaurants, very good breakfast. Indian restaurant also nearby.
Cons: Everything okay

Pros: Great location. Right next to the beach. Staff was really nice. Colin specially helped us book day tour to different islands. He was really helpful and welcoming. He answered all our questions and gave great suggestions for food and hiking.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was fantastic. Each and every member of the staff was always willing to help and the property itself is really nice. Well maintained, clean and beautiful, like being in the middle of a botanic park. Thanks for this week!
Cons: If I have to metion something, and being super picky, I would appreciate a bit more of variety in the breakfast buffet. However everything was fresh and tasty.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good service and experienced staff with good standards for a 5 stars unit.
Cons: There was some moll on the walls of the suite, not expected on a 5 stars suite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: loved the facilities , staff and the resort was stunning
7.0 Good
Pros: Room was excellent above average good bed and ac. Food very average not 5 star. Needs more supervision. Prawns on one occasion Soft too long frozen. Returned
Cons: The resort Needs more monitoring by managers. More supervision. No up to 5 star service although staff pleasant.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here, the Hilton Northolme and Raffles on Praslin. Both of the other two resorts were much more expensive (almost double) and to be fair the actual rooms at both other resorts were incredible. Other than that The H Resort was a much much better value. The junior suite we rented was brand new and very nice. Staff was extremely helpful and the hounds were very nice. Right on the beach. The food for breakfast was the best of any restaurant we stayed at while we were there. Definitely rent a car and go see the rest of the island. The west side is unreal.
Cons: Only thing that we were disappointed with was the Trader Vics restaurant. Everything in the Seychelles is overpriced but the food really just wasn't that good. That's the only negative thing I could think of and its not even of the hotel. Highly recommend
7.0 Good
Pros: The sea and beach.
Cons: The restaurants.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the time you step out of the car you realize the difference. The staff are the best. Lovely service and the staff pay attention to detail. Lovely rooms and the facility is outstanding.
Cons: Nothing

The year-round soothing climate, turquoise waters and beautiful beaches make this destination highly recommended for an island getaway. Stay with us and experience one of the best Seychelles resorts.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Simply nothing not even the food 3 starts overrated resort.
Cons: I didn't like anything not even the food. That's an overrated 2 - 3 stars resort at the max. There's no way this resort is a 4 stars.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and good staff specially front disk manager..
Cons: Nothing
6.0 Good
Pros: The room was comfortable. Good bed and nice amenties. Aircon worked great. Wifi was good. Pool was nice. Great location right on the beach.
Cons: The hotel is in need of some serious refurbishment - old, outdated - outside pool area is just messy. Casino was shocking - ugly looking room with around 4 tables, the name casino should be taken out the title. Staff in the restaurants dont seem very happy, service is very average. overpriced for what you get. Would not stay here again.
6.5 Good
Pros: Amazingly beautiful beach location and nice deep pool. A separate kidding pool is provided. Nice pool towels. Bus stop and two small grocery stores are located right off the property. Rooms were very clean.
Cons: I live in Germany and I’m quite used to the different customer service approach here than from America, but for a nation whose economy is dependent on tourism, I really did expect a bit more customer service oriented approach from the staff. As individuals they were nice, once engaged, but we felt like we were intruding on their work day at the resort. We had issues every day, while each one was relatively minor, and let’s face it, stuff happens, the issues stacked up during our stay. We were early for the 1400 check in, not a problem as that was on us and we were told to return at 1330. We grabbed some lunch and returned at 1400 only to wait another 20 minutes. Then the AC did not work in our room and after waiting for an hour for it to “kick in” we had to go to the front desk. They did send a repairman by quickly and the issue was resolved. But it took hours for our room to become comfortable. We had to ask for our laundry back twice (after waiting for 24 hours) before we got it back and some clothes were mixed up. One day housekeeping didn’t leave any towels at all and we had to ask for towels twice before any were delivered. At dinner I politely mentioned to the server that we had been waiting for over 30 minutes for our food he shook his head “no.” We were one of two tables in that dining area. Then I watched the staff discuss our ticket, which had obviously been overlooked. Finally another waitress came over and said that our food world be ready in a few minutes. Then they served fish to my friend that is allergic after assuring her that the menu swap was not a problem. The least they could have done was bring some bread out. Then one of the starters was served and billed as a main portion. The “mattresses” were nothing more than box springs and not comfortable at all. On top of that, the pool closes at 1900. So much for an evening swim. Forget about getting a lounge chair during the day as people camp out, leaving their belongings but not being anywhere in the vicinity. They really need more chairs, loungers and umbrellas. This is a resort for goodness sakes.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Its right at the ocean and not far from town
Cons: The customer care isnt all that good .... Guests carry lagguage them selves sometimes .
6.0 Good
Cons: Staff Service really needs improvement. thanks to Mr. Prem Singh for always being around to assist in any problem
4.0 Okay
Pros: The receptionist attitud is Cold and rude, it like you owe them huge money. Lunch i ordered Was poorly cooked and the breakfast made me had diaria
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is located on Beau Vallon beach and has a variety of restaurants on offer. Sadly at this time only 2 were open due to a dwindling number of tourists as a result of travel restrictions imposed for corona virus. It is a very large hotel with a lot of rooms and some chalet accommodation. The swimming pool was clean and had plenty of sunbeds available as people tended to head to the beach instead. A good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice was on offer. Food at the Pizzeria restaurant was very good and reasonably priced.
Cons: The mattress on the bed was exceptionally hard which made sleeping uncomfortable.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was really good. And the Indian food was great.
Cons: I was given twin beds when I had specifically requested for a double. Changing it was a hussle so I just gave up on that. Last two days the room was not cleaned to standard.

5.8 Okay
Pros: The Beach in front of the hotel is good for snorkeling. Although it is full of seaweed, still has some small crystal clear water part to swim. The swimming pool is big enough for all hotel guests. Room is good size. Bed is comfortable.
Cons: The hotel is over price for the quality, especially 2 days before we traveled the price was 45% dropped less than we paid for the same date of travel. The room and facility are very old need to renovate. The wood floor in the room is uneven. You could get your feet hurt, if you don’t walk carefully. The toilet is very difficult to flush. The A/C is not working well, although it is set at the lowest temperature. The wardrobe is big, but only 4 hanger in there. The napkin at the restaurant by the pool is very nasty. A lot of stains. Breakfast and coffee could be better. In front of the room could have some water to clean feet.

Pros: Nice people
Cons: To big
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Only the beach.

Cons: Please improve elevator service.
6.0 Good
Pros: Very good location, great stuff, great breakfast.
Cons: Had trouble with one of two rooms - smelly toilet. Got it changed quickly next day though.
7.0 Good
Pros: Good location, very helpful management and staff
Cons: Furniture and furnishings are tired, showing their age
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff makes up for the age of the hotel. Rooms and bed are up to date. Technical infrastructure is outdated.
Cons: The building / construction is overaged, but you know that when you boo it.
6.0 Good
Pros: Great location exactly on the beach and the beach is wonderful. Hotel has a number of restaurants (Japanese, bar food, Indian). The staff were very friendly and helpful, they checked on us and tried to make up for our lack of AC with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine (which was a nice gesture).
Cons: Our AC did not work the first night, we called in the middle of the night but it was not fixed until the next afternoon which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep in an expensive room. Breakfast was underwhelming. Limited number of chairs in the shade around the pool. The Seychelles is expensive as is, but I don't feel this place was worth the money.

Pros: the owner is friendly and was able to answer questions promptly before my trip. i was able to check in early as i arrived in the morning and the room was ready. Pippa also arrange transfer to and from the airport for me. the driver was punctual and reliable. i stayed in one of the apartments in the house with shared kitchen and dining/tv lounge. did not use much of the kitchen utensils but all seem to be in good condition. there is also a terrace with amazing view of beau vallon for meals etc. beautiful garden lots of outdoor space with sofa, table, hammock etc overall very comfortable stay, a/c, lights, shower all in working order.
Cons: steep hill as mentioned in other reviews and website but you will be rewarded by amazing view. only 10-15mins walk to/from beach, perfectly manageable.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Property was located very close to the Beau Vallon beach. As described, it is on a steep hill - so make sure you take your rental car. The view from the balcony was great. Room was clean and facilities were as described. Enjoyed the stay.
Cons: Cleanliness in the kitchen area was not there. Found a spider in the kettle. Could have been maintained better especially because most travellers tend to bring back food from the supermarket and cook themselves.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing garden and view over it on the mountains and the sea. Delicious star-fruits and avocados hanging on the trees. Room with the kitchen annex meet our expectations. With a car you can easily access everything you might need. Good contact with the owners and the staff. Beautiful, almost empty beach nearby, thought a bit challenging to climb up the hill by foot. Anyway, we'd come back to Lemongrass lodge if back in Seychelles. Our family had a really good time there.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: My small house was quite nice except a bit old. Especially, kitchenware. Down the road was the best part of the beach in Beau-Vallon area
Cons: It is up the high hill. For me it was quite okay but this accomodation is not suitable for elder people without rented cars.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Property was clean and well maintained
Cons: AC only in the bedroom which made the other room unusable. Mattress needs replacement. Property is very far off the center, up a very stern hill.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff, Good kitchen equipment, everything very clean. Fantastic Sunset- view over the Seaside. Due to the Resort is located up the hill you are good advised to have a rental car.
7.0 Good
Pros: nice balcony view, clean, kitchen well equipped with a big fridge, owners helpful with problems (when reachable though), comfortable room downstairs rooms don't have the view but theyre temperaturewise cooler met a lot of other cool tourists in the common area
Cons: bed sheets not changed once in 5 days, although promised to (in that heat needed) can only sleep with the a/c on, since they ask you to lock the doors and windows, luckily didn't get sick wifi on the first days very slow, then got a new router thankfully so steep up the hill, that you only do it once a day if you don't have a car, which is sad if you'd like to change before dinner the fridge in the rooms not really necessary with the big fridge upstairs, i think it only heats up the room but we didn't wanna make a mess turning it off, since it was icy inside
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great, Beau Vallon has everything you need, as well as the accommodation, not to mention the exceptional view from the terrace. The hosts were really nice and helpful. All in all, it's a good choice for a good price.
Cons: The lamp didn't work in our room but our hosts fixed the problem quickly. Wi-fi signal was really week, sometimes didn't work at all, but we could live with that :)

Pros: Location and the tranquility
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning location overlooking the bay. Private beach was gorgeous that we had to ourselves most of the time. Pool area was lovely too. Rooms had everything you needed - we were super lucky and had a full sea view. Literally the rooms/suites are nestled in the trees and our balcony had a direct view of the ocean. Food was great too. Breakfast had a good selection, we had 5 and didnt get tired of it. Lunch was al a carte, again had 5 lunches and they were mixed and varied. Dinner was great too - you choose a starter, main and desert at breakfast/lunch (from two-three options for each) which varied everyday and we didnt get bored of the menu. If you stayed here for more than 7nights I could see it being repetative. All the staff were fantastic and very accomodating. The free equipment was used but functional, no complaints here.
Cons: We loved every minute of our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, staff, food, accomadation were all excellent.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location and nice for snorkelling. They offer free guided snorkelling at their reef. Kayaks are available to explore the marine park. Nice hill side villa’s with lot’s of space and great outdoor shower. Food offered is okay but nothing special.
Cons: Drinks and food even more expensive then on Mahe main island. Also lots of mosquitoes, bring DEET containing repellent.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice quiet secluded island with beautiful villas. Amazing stay. Staff were lovely. Hostess meet and greet with a smile. Free boat transfer from Cerf island to Eden Island. Free snorkling they even provide equipment and leaders. Etc.
Cons: Nothing much not to like. Would be nice to have a fitness place. Would have Been much nicer if the beach front was very visible from the villa but it's still amazing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect. Wiev, nature, stuff are very firendly
Cons: Mosquito:(
Le Méridien Fisherman's Cove - Bel Ombre - Bedroom
17
8.0 Excellent (764 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Situated in Bel Ombre on the island of Mahe, the origin of Seychelles hospitality, Le Méridien Fisherman's Cove is nestled in a lush tropical paradise. The resort overlooks Beau Vallon, the largest and most popular beach on Mahe and the aqua blue Indian Ocean. Whether walking on one of the most beautiful beaches in the Seychelles, pampering yourself at the Zen Spa or savoring the extraordinary nuances of Creole cuisine, a stay here creates memories for a lifetime.
6.0 Good
Pros: - The design of the rooms and the style of the room balcony. - Mr.Bryno the F&B manager and his quick action, actually he moved as soon as I checked in to help to do some preparation for the proposal. - Mr.Dipok he works in the down stairs bar, he did his best to prepare for the proposal dinner and he went the extra mile. - Some of the staff is really friendly and smile and genuinely want to help you. - The compensation with two cocktails vouchers as an apology for the noise from next room.
Cons: - The buffet for dinner is repeated. - Taste of food is not what you expect when you enter a Meridien, on a certain day of the week the food was unbelievably salty. - I have been In different hotels for Meriden, never got to pay for drinks in the buffet atleast for soft drinks. - I sent an e-mail when I booked the room, as our stay was for marriage proposal, I got the reply on it after I checked in!! - The entrance to the beach is very dangerous and actually it's not an entrance, keeping it there just for sake of saying that you have an entrance to the beach is kind of tricking your customers, somebody could loose their life there. - Few times the reception was left out without anyone there, you have to call few times until someone picks up your call. - As a suggestion, when people talk about Seychelles the thoughts that come to your head is how it's romantic over there and it's a couple holiday, however some people also like to bring their kids and do it as a family trip so if you can make a separate wing only for adults or without kids that will be great, more appropriate for the families and the couples. We were woken up by the babies in the adjacent room crying in our first night. - Meridien is a big name in tourism and hotels world, when I chose the Meridien to propose to my girlfriend, it's because I trust the name, I know I will get what I paid for and extra mile not necessarily materialistic stuff but atleast small actions and things that makes the experience memorable and special but I was honestly disappointed, I didn't get that extra mile at all I barely got what I paid for. Maybe I would get the same treatment if I went to a bit lower class hotel or maybe better treatment as they would try to build a name for them selves.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The property and room were exceptional. The room was big and had a beautiful balcony and direct uninterrupted views of the ocean. The room was styled uniquely with a shower in the middle, which suited us as we were on our honeymoon. The bar-restaurant had exceptionally good food and the staff were more friendly.
Cons: The staff were not pleasant or hospitable. While leaving one of their restaurants, I often got stopped by random staff members and asked if I have signed or paid the bills, in one instance they asked me to wait while they checked if I have. If this happened once I might excuse it as a random mistake. However, I got stoped over 4 times during my stay of 3 days. I suspect this is to do with some form of profiling. At an esteemed brand such as Le Meridien, you expect to be treated with a certain courtesy which we did not experience. I was severely disappointed by this behaviour. Our experience at the spa was very poor. We booked a 90-minute massage package for couples that focused on the feet. The brochure specifically said 30 minutes of feet massage and the rest as body massage. However, once we were in the room, the massage we got was nothing related to the massage we booked. For instance, they spent more time massaging my head than my feet. The masseuse didn't ask once if the pressure was okay. The massage staff seemed untrained, it felt like they were just rubbing oil over the body as there was no technique or pressure, which our particular package required. Worst yet, my masseuse was massaging me with one hand, half the time. I can easily say it's one of the worst massages I've had, which I was not expecting from a brand like Le Meridien. We spoke to the duty manager (I forgot their name but I think it might have been Lin) about our experience and she said she would look into it and get back to us. However, we never got any formal explanation regarding our poor experience. The dinner buffet food was okay but nothing to write home about. The closest beach to the resort is Beau Vallon Beach, however, there is no access to it from the resort and the easiest way to get there is by walking 10 minutes via the main road but the road doesn't have footpaths, hence it's not easy to use.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very friendly and helpful personnel. Thanks a lot!
Cons: The rooms are old. The beach is closed and there is a difficult access to the neighbor beach. We wanted to swim after 5 pm and had to walk by a car road without a sidewalk
7.0 Good
Pros: location is very good breakfast is very good access to the beach very friendly staff shuttle service to victoria town
Cons: unfortunately due to stormy weather the pool was closed during our stay lack of night entertainment
6.7 Good
Pros: Great staff
Cons: The pool was closed during our entire stay. The beach access was closed and it was very difficult for us to go and come to the beach.
6.3 Good
Pros: I loved that the staff later during the day & evening through out my stay were super friendly and supportive as apposed to the early morning shift on the morning of my arrival , the location otherwise is great to.
Cons: I felt the hotel needed serious up grading with respect to all of its facilities including the rooms , everything from lobby , reception and room is outdated . for the same price you can find newer hotels on the Island for cheaper rates . As well Maybe consider adding entertainment on other days of the week for hotel guests and not only weekends . Weekdays are dead .

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely amazing location, the island and the resort are stunning. Staff is warm, friendly and helpful. It is an exclusive and natural place that is perfect to be cut off from the world !
Cons: Service at the restaurant can be extremely slow.. but it's holidays so you're not in a rush! Quite expensive food, as this is the only available restaurant on the island. Sometimes booking at the spa can be a bit tricky, better to check in advance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: JA enchanted was just that, enchanting in every way. From the moment you step onto the transfer boat with the friendly crew to the minute you step onto the island welcomed by the inviting Moses with a huge smile. We had the most incredible honeymoon, the food was excellent and the staff were full of character. A special mention to Buan (sorry if I’ve spelt incorrectly) he was outstanding, giving us so much care and attention. All of the staff were impeccable. We will return to JA enchanted Seychelles. Thank you for making our honeymoon so memorable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's hard to begin with how amazing this resort was, so I'll start with the pros and then move on with the cons, which are honestly almost a non factor if you know why you chose this place. The resort is located in a small island close to the main island of the country (Mahe Island), and a complimentary boat takes you to and from the island. The first thing you will notice is the fantastic scenery this place has to offer, with EXTREMELY welcoming staff. We were treated to breakfast and juice while they finished setting up the private villa. The villa itself was secluded, it's like being in your own house, extremely private. My wife and I enjoyed this aspect the most. The swimming pool is amazing and offers views of the Indian ocean like no other. The villa was clean, and was cleaned daily. The showers and toilet also offer views of the Indian ocean, it truly felt like I was someplace magical. Now onto the restaurant, I just want to get something out of the way, you will not find anyplace that serves food as delicious as this resort across the country. You see, the food and cuisine of Seychelles is not well developed, so the resort manager Mr. Borac told me one of his goals was to make the food amazing. And to that I say, he did and impressive job. The seafood was one of the best my wife and I ever tasted. The crown jewel of this place though is the extraordinary staff, who are very welcoming and extremely attentive, and went the extra mile towards pleasing the guests. All my requests were made and they were made swiftly. The restaurant staff were very friendly and spot-on with their timing and orders. The reception and front desk employees were beyond helpful, a special thanks to Jean-Luc and the rest of the reception crew. Mr. Borac, I highly praise you for such a great staff and familial feeling that you have managed to achieve. Thanks to all the staff for making this stay one of the most memorable for my wife and I.
Cons: The only con that I feel should be put here, is that the complimentary boat transfers end at 4:30 PM. So It's difficult to plan a full day if you want to do activities or if you came here for the night life, which I am sure will not be your goal if you chose this place for relaxation.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is magical. The surrounding sea is speechless. If you are searching for a crystal clear sea, I bet you this is the place that you will dream of it. I have visited many beaches in the past, this one is premium among others.
Cons: The speed of the internet is very slow.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Our villa had a direct acess to a small beach. Very polite staff and great service.
Cons: Choice, quality and presentation of the food in the restaurant could be better, especially regarding the price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My visit to this resort made my year! Words are short to describe how much I enjoyed my stay over there. I was amazed by everything. My special gratitude goes to Mr. Murad who made our stay unforgettable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The island proximity to Mahe, Iles moyenne and Saint Anne is an added value to the property. The staff are over-friendly, kind and are available around the hour to serve us.
Cons: Outdoor bathroom and the beach is not ideal for diving and swimming due to the shallow water.
