The employees were very nice and went above and beyond to help us during our stay, especially with the car rental. The room was very comfortable and quiet too. Location is in walking distance of the heart of Trastevere, and very close to the tram, which is very convenient for visits.
Good location and comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom Flea market very near every Sunday
The property was very secure and Alessia came to welcome us when we arrived late. Gioel was great with communication from start to finish and resolved an issue we had with keys. The apartment was located 10 min walk from Trastevere, a great neighbourhood where we ate dinner and had drinks on 3/4 nights in Rome. There was also a night market on the edge of river Tiber which we enjoyed, that was about 25 min walk from the property. The apartment was air conditioned and the bed was comfy. We got the tram a few times into Piazza Venezia that takes around 10 mins. This was the quickest way to get to the centre and it only costs 1.30 a ticket. We would recommend staying at City Rooms whilst doing a city break in Rome.
The only thing that could be improved would be the breakfast that was provided. As the breakfast room was hot with no air conditioning, some of the food had dried out. We ate out most mornings at Giselda forno up the road.
The check-in was excellent - very friendly and efficient, and we were able to check in about two hours before the official check in time. For the price, the room was excellent. Modern and clean and most of all, the bed was very large and comfortable.
This cannot be seen as a complaint because we know the style of Italian breakfast (lots of small very sweet cakes and no bread or savoury food). So, personally we would have preferred some bread and cheese and perhaps an egg. Howwever, this is the Italian style so when in Rome, do as the Romans do... :)
