Also they have fire pits by the river and they supply the wood.
7.0 Good
Pros: Situated on the river and very close to downtown.
Cons: It’s a budget hotel so you’ll encounter budget travelers. For instance, there was a family staying in the room above us and the children (or a small pony) were racing around, making lots of noise, until almost 11:00 pm. The room we were in appeared clean but had just a hint of an odor that reminded me of my dear grandmother’s nursing home.

Pros: Room very clean
Cons: Because this hotel is right next to the highway, so it's very noise all the night. The noise is came from the fan in the bathroom and from the air con.

Cons: There was hair in the shower. Staff should have been more detailed in cleaning the tub.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great desk help
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: Air Conditioner caused a severe allergic attack because it was not regularly cleaned. Suspect mold. My husband is extremely allergic to mold. He couldn't stop coughing. After 3 hours he went out to sleep in the car!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great. Friendly and accommodating. Recommended a place to eat before we asked (it was our next question).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pool and hot tub. Very nice staff.
Cons: Beds were fine. Room small. Tiny shower.
6.8 Good
Pros: The location of Sleep in was great and the motel sign could be seen from the freeway. Breakfast was great. It was obvious that the breakfast staff was working hard to keep the breakfast area clean (garbage taken care of, tables wiped down etc.),paper products stocked, and food cooked and stocked all with a smile.
Cons: My parents and I stayed for two nights on the first floor. Although there was obvious movement (feet movement) heard late into the night (approximately until 10 pm or 11 pm). Since we were very tired the second night, we reported the movement to the front desk about 8 pm; an obvious time to be settling down for the night. Although the person at the front desk said that the movement was due to the elevator; they did say that they would check into the movement situation; which almost abruptly ended for the entire night. The comfort level of the beds and pillows was very poor. The beds are very firm; on the verge of hard; and the pillows; although they look very fluffy; they do not provided any support for your head while sleeping.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Very Friendly staff and very resourceful
Cons: Room was dirty. Hair on pillow cases looks like a drop of old blood on my blanket. Looks like the blankets were never changed from last guest.

Cons: The hallway carpet was pretty dirty.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is extremely nice and friendly.
Cons: There is some smell in the room
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean, comfortable and quiet place. The staff was friendly and cordial. The breakfast was typical of such places, but was warm and fresh. The location allows easy access to town and to Crater Lake.
Cons: The hotel is acutely understaffed. It is family operated and appears to be on a learning curve with new owners (?). My overseas friends travelling in US were accidentally overcharged 4 times for the same room for a one-night stay and after nearly 10 days, are yet to receive the credit for the overcharge. It has led to consternation and undesirable anxiety to them in their travels. This is simply because the ineptness of the staff in the use of the electronic billing systems they have. The front desk telephone does not get answered routinely because of acute shortage of staff. There appears to be just one person handling all duties and he is busier than the proverbial "one-handed paper hanger". Additional trained/experienced staff could alleviate the situation, assuming the owner is sensitive to serving the guests as a means to succeed in their venture.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Rate received / Location
Cons: A bit noisy, not super clean but acceptable, there's a reason the breakfast is "free", lighting over vanity is at best average.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing and helpful
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff and location were great.
Cons: The shower was missing a curtain, so we had to get one at the front desk. The shower head was very low. It made it very difficult to wash my hair.
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff was really nice and the breakfast was great!
Cons: The bed was hard and the bathroom had a weird smell.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff at counter
Cons: Breakfast food ran out before breakfast time was over.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations. For the price, I was expecting much less. The hotel staff was very courteous and friendly. The room itself looked like it had recently been updated. The decor was very nice, it was clean, and in great condition. My hotel room looked as nice as one I stayed in the night before, and payed double the price for. I would highly recommend this hotel. It has a great, convenient location, and gives a traveler everything they need. It was perfect for me, traveling with my kids.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very nice to me.
5.8 Okay
Cons: We had to change our plans and leave a day early. They said they would get back to us to let us know if we would be charged for the last night but haven’t heard anything.

Pros: Great staff, such a quiet beautiful location. I am happy we decided to stay here.
6.2 Good
Cons: Beds were too soft Breakfast was mediocre
9.4 Excellent

7.7 Good
Pros: Comfortable, clean and roomy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was a step above continental, but it's right next door to an Elmers. Easy access to the freeway.
5.7 Okay
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: For the price, I would have expected more than I could get from the discount motel down the street. The building is old so the freeway noise can be heard all night, even over the loud heating system. The rooms have that old musty smell to them and look like they haven't been updated in decades. The bed was very firm and though advertised as King, it much closer to a queen.

10.0 Excellent
Cons: I love tbebreakfast. The beds are extremely comfortable and it's quiet and peaceful
5.8 Okay
Pros: Well, it was convenient. The staff were friendly.
Cons: That this is the highest rated property in Roseburg makes me want to avoid the town at all costs. Noisy AC that was totally ineffective. Open the window and the loudest sound is the neighbors AC. Hard, saggy, springy mattress. A digital clock so bright that I required eyeshades. Big ring of light around the room door. A clangy bathroom fan on its last legs. Super slow internet. Paper thin walls. I knew exactly what the neighbor was doing in the bathroom. A sparse breakfast with no tea and stale biscuits. A difficult night that I wouldn’t want to repeat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The quietness, customer service, and friendly staff
7.5 Good
Pros: The woman checking us in was extremely welcoming, sweet and helpful. I have a leg injury and was struggling to get up the stairs (no elevator). She took some of my luggage and helped me with it. She had to come back to our room 3 times to get the tv working. Each time, she had a smile and was very polite. The next day, a young man cleaning rooms helped my husband out as well. The rooms were very clean.
Cons: NO ELEVATORS and all of the rooms were on the second floor. In this day and age, that is unacceptable. I urge this hotel to look into getting elevators put in.
1.0 Poor
Cons: Did not get to stay at this hotel because I booked a pet friendly room and they didn't have any available.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff was very nice and helped us find someone to jump start our car when our battery was dead.
Cons: The room was not clean. There was even hair in the tub and shower. Air conditioning unit was very loud.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We were there for Graffiti Nights weekend. Location was great, very clean & the staff was even better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful. Expected just coffee, toast, maybe donuts or muffins. Instead was pleasently surprised with a hot breakfast, including waffles
Cons: Nothing I did not like. My stay was wonderful
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast. Cooked, which is rare. Great WIFI. Quiet. Wonderful room cleaner carried our bags to help us get upstairs.
Cons: I’d lose the Fox News on the office/dining room TV.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The front desk guy was extremely nice and wanted to make sure we had everything we need for a comfortable stay!
6.8 Good
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful
Cons: The ceiling in the room was cracked and peeling.

Pros: Breakfast was good & staff was friendly.
Cons: Rooms were dirty. Bathroom had hair on the floor and carpets had not been vacuumed. There was garbage left outside our hotel door.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable!!!
Cons: Nothing!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent, price was very fair, upgrades were nice
Cons: Bathroom was approaching dated, QC on room cleaning was below average, dental floss and small pieces of garbage missed in the middle of the floor
9.5 Excellent
Cons: 7 of 8 nights at Choice properties and every one has the same cold biscuits. The ketchup bottles were all almost empty and dirty. Questioning my loyalty to the brand.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The shower was good, and it worked without problems.
Cons: Our incredibly small room in the most distant spot in the property. We discovered that we had no wifi in our room. and the desk clerk came up and was also unsuccessful in getting it to work, although it worked without problems in the lobby. When we asked for a room closer to the office, he told us that there was nothing available at this price range in the building. I'd guess that the property was no more than 15-20% occupied, if that, and I'm surprised that the $120 we paid was for the least desirable room in the facility. When we asked for a price reduction, he gave us the general manager's email and suggested we contact him. He clearly had no authority to do anything else, and by that point we just gave up and put up with things. It was only one night of our 13-night journey, but I can honestly say that everywhere else we stayed was far superior. We were at Larkspur Landing in Renton, WA for five nights, a king-bed room with a kitchen and lovely bath. and the total bill was $506 including tax. The room was spacious and we were very comfortable, and we will definitely go back there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was fine, clean, Comfortable our only issue was the man and woman right next door had a domestic dispute that escalated until after one a.m. Fortunately the female left before law enforcement was called but it was loud and unnerving. At checkout staff was apologetic.
Cons: Fighting neighbors!
7.5 Good
Pros: Bed comfy, accessibility good, shower good.
Cons: Toilet was sticking, tile at threshold was cracked and loose, breakfast offering was fair, parking was a bit tight in some spots.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great
4.3 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Beds, pillows, no coffee, dirty bathroom and table, tv 4 channels of fuzzy junk. Suggested by management that I should stand in dark corner of property to vape, instead of 25 feet away from all buildings. Never going back.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: No breakfast available. But had coffee in the room. Bonus.
Cons: No breakfast.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location and parking
Cons: Not as nice as other hotels for the money.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, new bed. Everything worked. This is a no frills basic old school motel but it had everything needed for an overnight stay. Clean accommodations and everything worked. What more do you need for a bargain price. Hosts were plesant and accommodating as well.
Cons: Literally nowhere to hang clothes except the shower rod.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Being overcharged bait and switch
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room clean, comfortable bed n pillows
Cons: N/a
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Older motel, and only one I could find at the last minute that would take pets. I was actually impressed that it was very clean, no weird smells, and comfy. It was also quiet, but my unit was way in the back off a Main Street. The desk lady was very friendly.
Cons: The room had no heat on when I arrived. Didn’t take too long to heat up, though. And the bathroom floor is tile, and FREEZING cold on bare feet!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was quiet, didnt hear the neighbors at all. It had everything that was needed, and close to everything in town.
Cons: Was right on the main road, but it was quiet at night. Not much grass for walking dogs but there is an outdoor carpeted kind of area for them.

6.8 Good
Pros: The room was clean and we were able to find it reasonably well. We appreciate that it is a completely smoke free hotel - as long as they keep up on the battery replacement in the alarms.
Cons: The smoke alarm started chirping at 3:30 am (due to battery needing to be changed) this started us awake and it took several minutes to locate as it would not stop chirping. Once we were awake the sound of the freeway was so overpowering it was extremely difficult to fall back to sleep. We had to get up and drive another 5 hours to our destination having not fully rested. The office staff when i checked out did not seem interested or concerned about our experience. Will look for another option next time we are up that direction.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There was nothing non carb for diabetes. The beds were great

10.0 Excellent
Cons: The motel was right next to the freeway. Very noisy
7.5 Good
Pros: The bed was comfortable. The place was clean. Microwave in the room
Cons: Location on busy road so lots of traffic noise. Only carb options for breakfast. No hot tub.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Really large room, comfy bed, friendly and efficient check-in person. Had free freshly popped popcorn in the lobby as a perk for tired travelers.
Cons: Could use better lighting in the bathroom.
4.3 Okay
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful
Cons: My room had no shower curtain and a window in the bathroom making it impossible to shower with privacy. The room smelled like dog. The bed was terrible so uncomfortable.
7.0 Good
Cons: The breakfast was unacceptable
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We loved the swimming pool and the popcorn they made every evening. It's in a good location just off the freeway and there were several places to choose from to go get food. Overall not to bad
Cons: Beds weren't all that comfortable.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Nothing I will never stay here again
Cons: Rooms were unsafe for children I had to move rooms multiple times due to them being unsafe room 205 had paint peeling from the bath tub that my toddler was trying grab and eat The front desk clerk said room was safe because it was lead free paint peeling from tub then I moved to room 207 it did not have a cable box for tv. I attempted to latch the safety chain on the door and the trim and hardware fell off. Then I was moved to room 257 and there was no safety chain or deadbolt up high to secure the door. By this time I was so tired and frustrated that I just gave up on safety and pushed the couch in front in front of the door to secure it from my toddler from opening.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The staff tried to be accommodating. The hotel was inexpensive especially for a "3-star" hotel, BUT I think that rating needs to be re-evaluated.
Cons: We booked 2 queens (2 adults+2 kids) but were given 1 king. We asked to move, showed reservation, they didn't have anything else. They offered fold outs "at no cost" which were rickety, old and covered in brown stains.

Cons: room was slightly small
5.1 Okay
Pros: Reasonably priced, never asked for a pet fee since I'd booked on Kayak and hadn't had the option to check for a pet.
Cons: The room was clearly supposed to be decorated in a somewhat modern style, but the cheap laminate floor and simple design made it feel like it was just made that way so that they could hose it out if they needed to. The mattress wasn't particularly comfortable either.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The price is great and the rooms were clean
Cons: Staff in the morning was wonderful and friendly but this was not the case with the person who checked us in.

Pros: that it was so quiet . And the room was very clean. It was a large Room.

6.3 Good
Pros: Price for a Very Run Down Hotel , No new towels or beds made , could see through the door when closed , and Spiders I had to kill four of them
Cons: Under maintenance, needs a lot of work to get the price there asking, If I had another place I’d never stay there again.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Room was in poor shape. Security hook latch on door broken/missing. Fan in bathroom extremely loud. Sketchy neighborhood. Overpriced for this level of property.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Older property in great condition. Very friendly staff. Very clean and well kept up.
Cons: Nothing. Probably the best budget lodging I have used in recent memory.
7.5 Good
Pros: Room was fine. Good parking.
Cons: Breakfast very average
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The pancake machine was the best part of our experience.
Cons: We got there very late and awoke the person at check in, and we pushed the buzzer once. She unlocked the door and quickly retreated behind desk without any welcome at all. She was obviously irritated of our arrival time, even though we called ahead to notify. She was not very welcoming. We had 2 rooms and 5 people. She gave us 2 rooms w/ a queen bed. I didn't know we could get a roll away bed and she didn't offer although she saw my 6'2" 16 yr. old son, who was to room with us(we all came in to register). She didn't offer any extra bedding or the roll away. We ended up going to our truck and getting a sleeping bag for him and he slept on the floor. The room could have used a better cleaning and there weren't very many breakfast options, but the pancake machine was a life saver.
7.5 Good
Pros: Room was clean & big. Good continental breakfast. Was able to check in at 2am. Check out at noon.
Cons: No fridge, paint was chipped in sink, small toilet
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was quite clean and very comfortable. Absolutely no complaints. A Chinese restaurant next door. Very good & inexpensive. If ever in Roseburg again, we will definitely stay here.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Not many guests so the breakfast options were few. coffee was good.
Cons: Breakfast
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The evening and morning desk clerks were both delightful. The young man on duty in the morning also handled the breakfast room cheerfully and efficiently.
Cons: If it hadn’t been for the Cheerios, I would have been out of luck for anything gluten free for breakfast.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: A kitchen with no refrigerator.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Location, that's about it.
Cons: Celing of the 1st Floor (floor of the 2nd Floor) was way too thin, esp. with early AM check ins of guests that pace the floor upstairs until nearly 3 AM.

Pros: The owners are extremely pleasant. The motel is quiet and peaceful .
Cons: The motel is old and needs updated badly. The carpets are worn and very dirty. There is only a hot water pot--no coffee maker. We did not even have a bar of soap in our room.

Cons: Staff not trained at all and had no business being left in charge.
7.5 Good
Pros: Country cottage atmosphere. Rested well
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was the perfect accommodation for one night for my family of four, plus an infant. I was especially pleased that the room was held for me and my family even after arriving at 2 a.m.
Cons: The restroom walls looked a bit dinged up, but it was clean. I would have rather had a bath tub to bathe my 1 year old, but she handled her 2nd shower well.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: bed was noce
Cons: Carpet was gross - keep shoes on room. Very outdated and rundown.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: the couple who owns this place were very accommodating. They let me take home clippings from their garden. The price was the main attraction for me.
Cons: not a whole lot, they said they're renovating the bathrooms so its being addressed.
7.0 Good
Pros: The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, but the woman's accent was soooo thick I often had to guess what she was saying. She was trying but....
Cons: Coffee makings, but no coffee, though the hot pot was so far away from the wall it would have been unsafe to plug it in with the short cord. No hair dryer, shampoo, body wash. Few wall plugs to charge. No clock. TV reception VERY grainy. Never saw any sign of breakfast. At 7 am when we checked out he was still in his pj's as he took our key.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location and relaxing.
Cons: Coffee pot and condiments. Electrical outlets need upgrade.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The owners are the best and most helpfull.
