Pros. It was a room with a roof and four walls. That's about as good as it gets. The desk staff were alright.
Cons. The sign on the door said no smoking, but the room had been smoked in. There was a cigarette burn in the comforter, as well as the smell of smoke. The floor had not been well swept, the shower floor looked a little mildewed. The first hand towel I grabbed had not been washed, and still had eye makeup and a crusty yellow stain. My door was knocked on by a man and a woman looking for someone; they knocked three times before moving on. There were people outside talking loudly until about 11:30. The bed had it's own odor, which I think was in the mattress. I got a strong whiff every time I rolled over. I got a total of about 2.5 hours of sleep, but when I woke to the smell of the bed again at 2:45 am, I decided I'd had enough, got up, and checked out at 3:30. Will never stay there again. It was gross, and I did not feel safe during the 5 hours I was there.
