Excellent food and very helpful staff
Its central location in the town of Ross on Wye
Staff very friendly, food in restaurant excellent and good value.
nothing, very happy with our stay
The Hotel has a wonderful atmosphere - old but comfortable - good food and friendly welcoming bar area.
warm friendly welcome. traditional country hotel with public bar attached. Situated in the main street of Ross on Wye.
Being traditional, creaky floorboards are characteristic of the hotel together with steep winding staircases leading to the bedrooms. Web site clearly states no disabled access.
What a great hotel! The room was really big and the staff were excellent-very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the facilities were first class, particularly considering that the price was very reasonable. Initially we booked into this hotel because we were attending a wedding in the area and just needed a bed, and we were a bit fed up that we didn't give ourselves more time to appreciate the accommodation. It would have been nice to spend the evening there, relaxing in the bar and enjoying the place. We have already decided to return to explore the area again and to stay at this hotel.
Good all round service
friendly and great value, convenient location
In need of update
It was central to the town and comfortable
The bar was far too "smokey" little or no ventilation Bedding & towels were left outside our door and was a safety hazzard The shower was not efficient enough and the shower hook was too far up the wall and you could not control the direction of it due to it being loose.
