wonderful experience. Staff was very cooperating and helping.
The room is clean, and it was quiet at night. The restaurant is just on the ground floor, very convenient. The staffs are friendly and helpful.
We liked everything about our stay at Primavera. The staff was warm & welcoming, despite the language barrier (which wasn't much of a barrier as they were always able to find someone to interpret and translate for us). The rooms haven't been "updated" lately but who cares....the size of the room was much much more then we ever expected (with two balconies!). They have a bar for every occasion, i.e. apres ski, quiet time, or late night fun. The whole town was fun and welcoming. We had an excellent time at the Primavera and the town of Saas-Grund! The pillows weren't that great...other then that, the staff made this the most comfortable hotel we've experienced!
Location right next to the Hohsaas cablecar is very handy. My room was available very early, which was good because I also checked out very early the next morning. Nice room with balcony looking up towards Saas Fee and Allalinhorn. Very good value for money.
Clean and comfortable rooms with lift access, very good staff, very good restaurant, good location for touring the area by car or bus,
Location, Staff - just make better breakfast :)
well located, next to the cable car station, courteous, friendly staff
Very friendly helpful staff, excellent meals, wireless internet access, large room, located only 30 steps from the ski lift, close to other shops, reasonable rates, an excellent hotel for a ski vacation As non-smokers, we would have preferred better separation from cigarette smoke in restaurant.
Good location friendly staff and good supply of breakfast
Family friendly + Hotel staff kindness + comfort
SPA area no
Dinning, spa, area, equipments Staff - arrogant, impolite
We had a wonderfull stay in the hotel. The waitress remembered our facourite dish, the favourate coffee recipe and made all effort to make us feel at home. (please note in May it is low season.
Hotel staff is very attentive to my needs, location is perfect.
The room was excellent and the breakfast delicious !
We had booked a room with a half board inclusive, however on our arrival we were told that the hotel offers the rooms with breakfast only, not half board. The lady at the reception apologized for the booking error via Booking.com and gave us a room upgrade and a bottle of champagne. The wellness area is very nice. The towels and bathrobes have definitely seen better times, we missed a hair shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, the toilet needed to be flushed 3-4 times. Once we had used the towels for the wellness area and wanted to go swimming early in the morning on the next day, we had to come down and ask for clean towels at the reception (nobody picked up the phone after long ringing), which is not a 5* hotel standard. The breakfast was not that generous due to the fact that hotel was being only partially operated during the days of our visit.
The staff were extremely nice and helpful. We will return
Smart comfortable hotel with very friendly staff. The nudity in the spa / wellness area which is accessable to children is not very nice
Very peacefull, staff very friendly, we got a room upgrade
very good service, good location, good food !! no
Already at questionaire hotel: smoking in restaurant allowed. And cheesfondue cold at the table, returned to kitchen. Other days diner not at the hotel.
We got such a low rate on booking.com that we were expecting a bare-bones hotel. However, this hotel is a historic hotel that has been recently renovated and is very centrally located. Though we didn't pay for the upgrade, we got a suite with balcony facing the glacier - a very pleasant surprise indeed. Absolutely recommended, particularly during off-season (July 1-2 for us) and book through the website for a great deal.
Frıendly and helpful staff, bıg spacy rooms, good kıtchen
Character, charm, excellent location at very centre of village, homely, friendly staff. The Feeloch restaurant is very good. The bar lacked atmosphere. Not really the hotel's fault I suppose.
staff was quite responsive and room worked well for family of 4 corner room on street side problematic with the noise from the bar that went on till 3 AM. should not note whirlpool as it's single-individual capacity and must put coins in to operate.
second ski room next to the lift was handy, as well as the passage directly to the wellnes in adjecting hotel. Breakfasts was so rich and the staff was wery agreable smaller bathroom and quite loudy air exchauster (running along with turned on light)
It was a great place to stay. The staff were extremely friendly and the wellness facilities were great. Breakfast was substantial. Rooms were comfortable but the heating was a little high and we couldn't regulate it ourselves. About 5 minutes to the ski lifts and the hotel has a free ski/boot room by the slopes, which was very convenient.
Warm, friendly welcome and hospitality. Cleanliness and tidiness throughout. Fresh decor. Use of the excellent spa facilities in the sister Hotel Europa. Use of the ski room in a another sister hotel near the ski slopes to store our skis and boots in after skiing, letting us walk through the village unburdened and in comfortable boots. No.
I think Artemis is a very good choice if you want to ski in Saas Fee, stay in hotel but not willing to pay a fortune... Rooms are rather simple and not the biggest, but they are clean and cosy, decent 3-Star Standard. Everything else was perfect - very welcoming and friendly staff, good breakfast, and surprisingly good spa with sauna and whirlpool (two separated areas: naked and not-naked). The hotel is around 10 minutes walk from the lift but there is a locker room just next to the lifts so you dont have to carry your skis and ski boots on the way back to the hotel.
Very friendly staff, clean, good value for money
Very very friendly generous owner with good English. Beautiful bar with local wines and excellent beer. Room was perfect, spotlessly clean and included a sauna, large balcony with amazing views, great shower and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very tasty with local produce, high chair provided for our one year old child. Can't wait to return to this fantastic place.
The hospitality of the owner. It was a pity that the studio that we had reserved was given away to somebody else. The owner gave us an appartment which was ok. At departure she gave us a discount on the price
Simply a fantastic hotel, one of the best I've stayed in, in the mountains or anywhere in Switzerland for that matter. Wonderfully helpful staff and great restaurant. Excellent, spacious modern rooms and a short walk to Hoh Saas cablecar. Highly recommended
Convenient restaurant/bar below rooms Not soundproof ... stayed on 1st floor and noise from hall/rooms/restaurant/and even kitchen, could be heard above. We also had no satelite tv ... whole system out in hotel but no attempt made to resolve!!
Super clean hotel and excellent service. The owner tried to do everything to let us have a great stay. Separation on the balcony and a parasol
The hotelier was very helpful, and very keen that our stay should be as comfortable as possible. The rooms were of a good size, and the wood- burning stove (and jacuzzi!) were a real pleasure. None
Hotel Tenne was really good place to stay and meal were good as well.
Good pizza's in the restaurant.
The kindness and helpfulness of the owner. The big very comfortable room with jacuzzi, terrace and free wifi. The lovely bar restaurant It has no lift and no garden. You have to wait too much to be served in the restaurant
Fantastic Hotel. Very friendly. Thoroughly recommended No
locatiodn and viwes not a real option to go bed and breakfasrt
The staff of the restaurant was extremely professional and friendly. The staff at the reception was neither pro-active nor very professional. When approached at the reception desk, they did not get up from their chairs immediately, nor did they know the times of bus services or how to obtain cinema tickets. Relevant training of this staff would be highly recommended. No hotel shuttle bus to the skiing lifts is offered by the hotel on Saturdays as according to the hotel is the main arrival and departure date during the week. Unfortunately also no official buses operate on Saturdays. So the hotel guest staying over a Saturday is required to walk by foot to the skiing lifts.
can enjoy breakfast and dinner. recommend to take "Halbpension" One thing that I am disappoined at is that all single rooms have no bath.
very friendly staff excellent food comfortable room good location in a pretty vibrant town close to lots of things to do. noise from the street late at night.
Quality of location and spa facilities. They charge for tap water in the restaurant.
Centrally located hotel offering some of the best value accommodation in Saas-Fee. Excellent breakfast buffet with plenty of fresh fruit. Good 6-course evening menu. Drinks bill brought with last course so no hanging around waiting at end of meal. Pool small but good depth and temperature for swimming. Spa small, but good. No noise from other guests or from outside. Good size rooms. Box of chocolates when paying final bill was a nice touch. Try and go to dinner between 7 and 8 – the one day we went later we felt rushed. Some serving staff not very happy, but good service. Resort is very quite from early evening onwards. Rooms / duvets too warm.
Excellent location right in town with balconies overlooking a spectacular view of the valley and the glacier. Large room with comfortable bed, couch, and breakfast table. Complete and delicious breakfast included. Great food for dinner in the restaurant. no complaints
We stayed in a beautifully renovated room with a great view of the mountains. The manager was very helpful in selecting hikes in the Saas-Fee mountains. At dinner the food and service were excellent. The hotel Allalin provided better value than a comparably priced Zermatt hotel where we stayed later in our trip
Hotel rooms were excellent , being recently refurbished. The staff were friendly and efficient. Hotel is in a good position , being very near the main car park, village centre and cable car to the sledging run
The family room was very comfortable and spacious enough for 4. The shuttle to the ski hill and bus was a welcome bonus, and the driver very pleasant. The breakfast was very good. The woman at the front desk would not send the shuttle to pick us up from the ski hill, even though the driver had told us to call to arrange this.
A nice hotel with a lovelly restaurant interior and fairly good location (a bit far from the lifts to the mountain but close to the central street)
Sloping wooden beams and quality of design of room Can't think of anything
The sheets in one of the beds were shredded
We had to wander around abit to find any staff when we arrived, and she spoke no English (luckily I speak German) but that was the only downside... the rooms were nice, good bathrooms, glad there was a lift all the way up to our room. The staff were most friendly, good breakfast. They let us leave our bag there for 2 weeks while we hiked around Monte Rosa - which was incredibly convenient for us. Really nice option.
Breakfast service is good, and the restaurant food also good too At night the customer talk a little bit loud, just this things
We stayed at the Hotel Marmotte during the Christmas holidays and had a blast. We've never been to the region and were welcomed with great hospitality. They picked us up from the parking deck with our luggage and took us to the hotel. Wifi was only 5 CHF for 24hrs...which is a great deal anywhere. They'll even take you to the slopes and provide you with a locker at the base of the slopes to keep your skiing equipment. We didn't have dinner at the hotel but the breakfast was included and is your typical european breakfast (cold cuts/cheese/bread/cereal/boiled eggs) and the staff was extremely nice and accomodating.
Close to the mandatory parking center (Saas Fee is a gasoline-engine-free resort). Clean room (although with minimum comfort) with a big flat screen TV. The room has a big flat screen TV, which is very good, but what a surprise not to find CNN or BBC included in the program!
Clean and comfortable hotel in a quiet location a short distance from the Hannig chairlift.
The room we had was quite clean and very spacious. On our balcony there were 3 or 4 satellite dishes, bit much I thought.
The Marmotte was well up to three star swiss standard (quite high) and friendly.
Good staff and cosy feel to the hotel.
Saas-Fee is a beautiful destination village in the Swiss Alps. It's the perfect location for a quiet and relaxing weekend. nothing.
The food (1/2 board) was mediocre at best> The dinners were overcomplicated and fussy while the breakfast---boiled eggs underdone, constantly out of bacon and/or scrambled eggs. The hotel needs fresh management approach
Quality of meals, room facility and cleaness. None
Excellent food, very good chef. Hotel receptionist, misinformation about Wi Fi, not very helpful although hotel very empty. Tell the staff to smile occasionally!!
I have been several times at the Metropol. and my sojourns there have always been very mice and comfortable. The owners and the whole staff are very kind and friendly. The restaurant is very good too. Incredible good location in the very center of Saas fee.
Central location, evening meals Cooked breakfast was often dried up and not replenished often enough. "Romantic" room and table decoration overdone.
We really enjoyed the meal which was delicious and the spa was a real blast There are only twins beds matched together in the rooms and no queen size bed or king size bed.
Good location, close to bus terminal and centre of town. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Free use of cablecars in the area a real bonus. Spacious room with balcony and great views over to Allalin/Alphubel.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The owners invited all guests down for an Easter apero and came and spoke to all guests individually which was very enjoyable. The food in the restaurant was fantastic quality and our deal for half board including ski passes was great value. Also getting to the ski lift was very easy as the hotel drove us each day in their small electric cart, and also dropped us off at the bus station for our return trip.
Good food We did not use the bar as there was no atmosphere.
Great room for a family, and wonderful care and service from the owners.
We really enjoyed our stay. Very friendly and helpful owners, will pick you up and drop you off at the bus terminus. The hotel has a good location in town, close both to the ski hill and resturants/bars in town. The owners were really helpful when things went wrong with our flights home, couldn't ask for more.
The owners very nice and helpful, the location excellent, the place great
We were made to feel most welcome. Thank you No
I liked the country and cosy decoration. Very clean and comfortable. The staff are very gentle and nice. If I had the chance to be back in Saas Fee, I would certainly stay at Christiania.
I liked the spa room, the terrace and the different bar rooms as well as the restaurant room The relatively late starting time for breakfast, especially in a ski resort, only little or no variation on the breakfast buffet
The spacious and comfortable rooms with sufficient cupboard space; very good bathroom; the sauna an steam bath; the location within easy reach of the ski area; the efficient service. Breakfast is rather basic and stinhy with no fresh fruit.
It was fairly close to the ski lifts in Saas Fee and the room catered for 3 of us quite well We couldn't find any information about Saas Fee itself in the hotel and we couldn't get a taxi back to the main car park when we left at 6:45am. (Saas Fee is a car free village so you can't drive to the hotel itself)
Great location Clean & well appointed rooms with balcony. Nothing major - some tea & coffee with the kettle provided would have been a nice touch.
