Pros: Everything, the service was phenomenal!! They made us feel like we were at home and were very accommodating! We will definitely be coming back with our extended family!
Cons: There was absolutely nothing we did not like - it was an amazing experience staying here
Pros: We like the historic place, the staff and history, but we rearly need some facilities for making coffees and tea in the room. The food in the restaurant was very nice and tastefull. All over we like the Landhuis very much.
Cons: The need of coffee and tea making in the rooms.
Pros: Wonderful place, with a superb sunset and great atmosphere. Furthermore: super nice team of owners and staff. For us (but everything depends on taste -we like 'simple luxury' and are not into 5 star resort experiences-, this was simply the best place to stay on the island. And a bit of a hidden gem (booked by recommendation of friends). Drive from Soto to the North and you have the best part of Curacao. Find truly secluded beaches only 10 mins away. Every evening a magic sunset overlooking St. Martha bay. Super nice food and super nice breakfast. We had the Queen suite. Loved it!
Cons: we liked everything!
Pros: The hotel is beautiful and the location is a short 15-20 minute drive from the best beaches for snorkeling and diving The food at the restaurant is good but it’s great to have a mini fridge in the room so you have the option to have snacks and drinks handy if you don’t feel like getting a meal at the restaurant
Cons: I would have liked a coffee maker in the room. I wasn’t thrilled with the fact that you have to go to the bar just to grab a cup of coffee or tea. Also a hairdryer would be great
Pros: This place is beautiful and the staff were, not only polite, but accomodating in every way. We are bike touring and this is an ideal location to begin exploring western Curacao. Food was great!
Cons: We would have liked to see a few less expensive items on the breakfast and dinner menus.
Pros: Beautiful historic home in a quiet location and access to Curacao top beaches nearby. Steffi, Justin and Ro were all super helpful and kind! We loved our superior queen suite!!
Pros: Amazing location to explore the Banda Abou. Driving distance from a lot of nice beaches (snorkeling sites). The view from the hotel is just fabulous. I did enjoy everything, the common area, swimming-pool, restaurant.. By the way, we've had amazing meals at the hotel restaurant (they serve an absolutely delicious pumpkin pancake)... Friendly personnel and very very friendly owners :) .. I recommend to book the room nearby the swimming-pool
Cons: may be the absence of a coffee machine but this is not common in curacao anyway!
Pros: The best place on Curacao! From the moment we arrived we were so impressed — from the lovely people who make you feel like a part of the family, to our beautiful room, and the truly delicious food that's some of the best on the island. Also the location is next to all the top beaches and sites. Loved every minute!
Pros: Beautifully restored old “landhuis” on a hill overlooking the Santa Martha bay in banda bou. Friendly staff, good food, nice local artwork on display. Highly recommended.
Pros: Lovely place with nice views. Excellent staff! Great food in the restaurant. Good location for beach hopping and to visit the national parks
When you stay at Lagoon Ocean Resort in Lagun, you'll be on the beach, a 1-minute drive from Lagun Beach and 5 minutes from Grote Knip Beach. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Everything was super good. The location in front of the Lagun Beach is amazing. You will easy find turtles where you are snorkelling. Quiet place and good staff.
Pros: Excellen location. Close to a good snorkelling and swimming beach. Very good restautant. Our apartment was just perfect.
Cons: Teh WLAN was totally unreliable and sporadic. I had to go to teh pool area to get a reasonalble signel, but even there the WLAN kept cutting out now and then.
Pros: Great location Wonderful dive team
Cons: Very slow service at restaurant
Pros: The unit we stayed in was just spectacular. The views were incredible, it was private (as we had requested and was honored). The staff was very helpful and kind. The restaurant on site was quite nice and the snorkeling at the beach was really great. The kitchen was well equipped and clean as was the rest of the apartment. We were truly so happy with our stay here and would happily return.
Cons: I would have to be sooo picky to find something I didn’t love. Honestly if I had to say anything it would be the handrail was a little dirty but that is truly the worst thing I could come up with.
Pros: Excellent location, nice food at the restaurant
Pros: Nice and practically set up unit. Three of us stayed in the one bedroom with futon. Twin beds were comfortable. It was nice to sleep with the windows open. Pool was very nice after a day on the beach or as a mid-day beach break. Great views and sunsets were beautiful. Gated and safe.
Cons: Had to walk through the Bahia restaurant to get to the beach. Upsetting to see so many stray dogs in this country.
Pros: Was a very good vacation. Location is very good .Every one that works their are friendly and nice . Would recommend this place to everyone.
Pros: Lovely location and facilities.
Pros: Loved the location and access to beach. Staff was great. Pool was enjoyable.
Cons: Beds were a bit dated.
When you stay at Rancho El Sobrino in Sabana Westpunt, you'll be near the beach, within a 10-minute drive of Grote Knip Beach and Lagun Beach. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: The Internet and the TV was bad.
Pros: Very friendly staff. The rooms are the best. We had a room with the Kitchen on the balcony. It was awesome. The beds were very comfortable and the food was super delicious!
Pros: We loved the location away from the city, walk to a few places to eat, and close to less busy beaches. Restaurant on site was great. Staff friendly.
Cons: Beds fair were two singles pushed together and not the greatest for comfort.
Pros: The staff was really nice
Cons: The variety of food could’ve been alittle better
Pros: Curacao is amazing and I feel like we stayed at the best place to experience it. Many of the better known resorts are on crowded beaches that are quite commercialized. Here you are on gorgeous beach or a short drive from the most beautiful beaches on the island. The staff was warm and very helpful. I had read reviews that complained about the food variety. I would say that if you travel primarily for food, you might be better off in the crowded town. But the food here was plentiful, tasted good and served in the most beautiful uncrowded ocean view open-air place you could find. We'll be back to Curacao and hands-down would stay at the same place. Did I mention - great pool, and a cavern with its own natural pool on the property?
Cons: no complaints
Pros: It’s sooo relaxing. I am a return customer and so are my friends. It’s a very special, unique, stunning, romantic and relaxing location. The staff are AMAZING!
Pros: friendly and accommodating staff; location was beautiful and scenic, just what i was hoping for; good food at the restaurants for a reasonable price; clean rooms and excellent cleaning staff; great snorkeling!
Cons: Somewhat isolated - we knew it would be, but found it to be more so with a baby and staying for a full week; no wifi in the rooms (only in common areas) and no air conditioning in these common areas was a hassle with a baby; definitely required a car for the week and not a lot to do if it is raining, which it did for a day and a half - ended up going back to Willemstad for this time.
Pros: Kura Hulanda Lodge is such a special, romantic, magical location I’ve returned to many time. It’s good vibes all round, with an AMAZING view, a place where you can immerse in nature, tranquillity, feel looked after and recuperate. The incredible staff - the beautiful managers Ruth, Nirmila and their colleagues really make it a warm and inviting atmosphere. We are already planning a return visit and having spent three trips there so far, encouraging our friends to stay, we foresee the lodge will feature as a regular retreat in the future.
Pros: Great location for scuba divers
Cons: Place is getting run down
Pros: Location is perfect !
Cons: Could need a refresh
Pros: Our room was nice. Good view. Good A/C. Very responsive to getting microwave fixed. The grounds around the property were nice
Cons: Too much was not included in our ‘All Inclusive’. No frozen drinks, no beer except a local draft beer, no bottled water, no cocktails. There was no spa or spa services available. There were no pool activities or even music. No shuffle board, ping pong or other activity source. There were no options to do any activities except snorkel or dive. No jet ski, wind surf or other water activity. Food was not right. I actually think that some of it may have been spoiled or reused from a previous meal. We were sick most of the week as a result. We tried to find the safest thing to eat that we could. We ate a few meals at the dive shop grill and paid high prices just to get something different. Our ‘shuttle ‘ into town was a beat up van with no A/C. 95 degrees + for the 45 minute ride into town. Willemstad was disappointing. Really nothing to do except tourist shops.
Pros: The views and the beach were probably the best things about this place. The location would only be ideal for someone who wants to be away from everything and enjoy a quiet vacation
Cons: I know I’ll be nitpicking here. But there are many things that could simply improve the stay. Firstly we sadly had diarrhea due to the mixing of tap water with all the drinks. The food isn’t bad but usually the same and no variety is usually available. The rooms are great but the AC could hardly cool the room and is extremely weak. The TV are not flat but old style offering only like two proper channels. The area is secluded from the island and is an hour from airport or the main city. This place has potential just needs to improve.
Pros: Pro’s: The views are spectacular! Playa Kalki is great for snorkeling! Great price (but you get what you pay for)
Cons: Cons: Activities: snorkel gear is NOT included. Go West Diving Scuba Shop just laughed when told them I was staying at the resort next door. Beach maintenance: is acceptable, but could be raked (cleaned) at least once a week. Seaweed and debris along the beach, unkempt. Building maintenance: quite old, needs paint, sealer, repair. Ground maintenance: old and run down. Missing tons of light bulbs, doors are falling off, irrigation lines are all exposed. Room maintenance: Poor. Still have the old CRT tube TV’s with 2 channels. Drink options: very limited. Cocktails are not included. Water is only available in these 8oz plastic cups and cannot be brought to the rooms Food options: not available all day. Quality poor. Selection poor. Food quality: mostly well done (as in dry and burnt). no condiments available (ketchup, mustard, hot sauce). They use a vinegar bottle for syrup so you only get 1 drop of syrup for the pancakes. Housekeeping: OK Services: massage was okay I was quoted $60, but was charged $78 Service: poor. No acknowledgement. There’s this one restaurant host who never smiled and just rolled her eyes whenever you get a meal. She only smiles when the manager is around. Everyone seems to just be on their phones. Wifi: not available in the rooms. Did not receive a welcome drink Did not receive a map of the property

Pros: This is a very simple bed&breakfast guesthouse with two so cute dogs and a very friendly and helpfull landlord. It is close to the nature, the garden is beautiful and is very quiet. This is a yoga center so you can have yoga, massage and meditation. The location is good to visit the beautiful north and west beaches. All good snorkelling and diving spots are available within a 10-15 min drive. But the car is a must have. Breakfast is also good, simple egg with bread, butter, jam and fruit and coffee or tea. Check out was very felxible, we could left the luggages there for the last day while leaving to the beach before the airport.
Cons: Remember there is no airco in the room which can be challenging. Though there are two big fans but they are very noisy.
