Pros. Overall, this is a great place to stay! The pool was a great added bonus along with the hot tub. The continental breakfast was good as well. There is free popcorn in the lobby. The employees were very friendly. They even have discounted tickets on site for the ferry to Mackinac.
Cons. While the bed was ok, it could have been more comfortable, unless you like a firm mattress.

Pros. Staff was very friendly. Enjoyed visiting with some of the guest. The pool was great for laps during the day and a lot of fun for the kids at night
Cons. Would have liked something beside hard boiled eggs for protein at the continental breakfast. I do know that the cost of some meat would be greater. Some people just don't act like parents and their kids literally tell the parent what to do.(not the hotels fault)
Pros. The staff was nice and they had a great chess set in the lobby.
Cons. The rooms are disgusting. The toilet kept getting plugged and there was no water pressure. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. The maid didn't clean the room or provide clean towels second day so we had to clean it ourselves and ask for fresh towels. Pretty disappointing.

Cons. Upon check-in a staff member could not be located to assist me at the front desk even though I was the only one in the lobby at that time. (result of under-staffing the hotel) Drain for the sink in my rooms bathroom was partly clogged resulting in a slight backup in the morning. No accommodations to iron your clothing, so if you plan on something nice be prepared.
Pros. It was cheap and near everything we wanted to see. The staff was very friendly and the room was pretty clean!
Cons. This was mostly my fault for not asking if other rooms were available, but being located outside the pool was horrible. It was damp in our room and loud at night. The staff was very nice and I'm sure they would have helped. I should have asked for another room. We stuck with it. Don't get a room near the pool if you can help it!
