The host were really lovely and their homemade food/breakfast was just delicious. Apart from the very pleasant stay we got a recommendation to one of the most beautiful hiking trail we've every been on. Hiking along the small Verdon canyon up to the "enchanted forest" just made our day perfect.
We arrived in the late afternoon and were directed to a nearby town for dinner, so breakfast was our first real experience of this place. And what an experience it was: we walked through the comfortable house and into the kitchen with a big welcoming family table: one inside and one outside, which is here we ate breakfasts of homemade müsli, fresh fruit, excellent breads and eggs on demand. At every meal we sat family style with sometimes new arrivals and sometimes the people we had met the day before. Never have I had a more relaxed, friendly start to my day as I had at Tom and Barbara's breakfast table. And that doesn't even begin to take in the fantastic and friendly evening meals we had twice during our 5-day stay.
I had a bit of trouble with the few steps from the parking area to the house, but I have an orthopaedic problem. After the first day I got used to negotiating the steps - they became part of the charm.
The hosts were so nice, and helpful and FUN! We loved talking with them and getting their suggestions that ended up being our absolute favorite parts of our 2 weeks in France. The rooms are fantastic, clean, and comfortable. It was fun to have a delicious breakfast outside with the other guests and get to meet some other travelers.
Cute property in a nicely secluded area
Hard to find..
The room is very small. Walls in the bedroom are full of flecks. On the loor are full of ants. Our accomodation was good for maximally one night. Not for several days. We were disapointed. According presenting photos we looked forward to very nice room, but reality was absolutely different. Be careful. Only some of presented photos will be exactly from our accomodation.
