Pros: Very charming and authentic chambre d’hôte! Friendly hosts. Nice homemade bread, jams, yogurt.. for breakfast.
Cons: Not always strong wifi connection.
Pros: The hotel is Located in a small town and nearby there is a pizza restaurant. The room was cozy decorated. Breakfast was all home made and very delicious. Next time if we go visiting caynon du verdon, we'll still choose this hotel!
Pros: Barbara & Tom are very warm-hearted and interesting hosts. They prepare a delicious breakfast with e.g. home-made bread, Bircher Muesli. They use to cook 3 times per week for their guests - we enjoyed it once and this dinner was absolutely fantastic. Their guest house and rooms are super cosy, calm and have a nice ambiente; We loved our stay here
Pros: Such a fantastic place to stay, the food was fabulous and extremely good value for money, we were well cared for and our hosts were wonderful people, very welcoming.
Pros: Stylish, beautiful rooms, nice garden and relaxing area around the property, good homemade breakfast, very friendly and informative owners. Thank you!
Cons: Wifi in our room was very weak, same for mobile data signal. No problem to connect in other parts of the estate though. The adjoining city is very small and nothing could be reached on foot, but that´s the nature of this charming region.
Pros: Very cosy, peaceful and clean place . Thank you so much for your hospitality!
Pros: Hard to find..
Cons: The room is very small. Walls in the bedroom are full of flecks. On the loor are full of ants. Our accomodation was good for maximally one night. Not for several days. We were disapointed. According presenting photos we looked forward to very nice room, but reality was absolutely different. Be careful. Only some of presented photos will be exactly from our accomodation.
Pros: Nice terace, very good breakfast and dinner, nice place around for reading or relax.
Pros: The location was peaceful and beautiful. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful with local things to do and walks. The dinners are our favourite. The food was plentiful and delicious and we loved meeting with the other guests who were all lovely people from all over Europe.
Cons: Nothing. It was perfect.
Pros: Very charming and authentic chambre d’hôte. Perfect location to relax and start exploring the surroundings. Friendly hosts. Delicious breakfast. We loved our stay here and we highly recommend it.
When you a stay at Le Moulin du Château in Saint-Laurent-du-Verdon, you'll be in a regional park, just steps from Verdon and Verdon Regional Natural Park. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, laundry facilities, and a library.
Pros: I couldn't find a better place to enjoy life. Extremely nice owners and staff, they love what they do. Wonderful food and wine from producers around the area. Even the sun surrenders to the lavenders during sunset and shows their colors. Simply special!
Pros: Over and above the high score we have given, the food (breakfast and dinner) was superb. Carefully sourced locally and as far as possible all organic. The hotel is family owned and managed with great attention to detail. We will definitely go back again. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who appreciates the peace and quiet of the countryside, great food and kind hospitality. The location is perfect for exploring the Gorges du Verdon.
Cons: Nothing to say
Pros: the great location and the great view of the region
Pros: Very nice building with a great garden in front of the hotel. The welcome was extremely great and the meals not expensive but really qualitative.
Cons: Some small ants in the bathroom in the morning, but considering the house is fully in countryside and green it is acceptable
Pros: very polite, helpful & friendly chief and staff. very relaxing environment
Pros: We loved this place. The accommodation and service was excellent. We also loved the location; quiet and beautiful countryside and so close to the lake.
Pros: Very cozy place to stay, nice people. Hotel is eco oriented.
Pros: Everything BIO
Cons: Dinner small portions.
Pros: Good breakfast, nice breakfast area both inside (in the old mill) and outside. Nice and helpfull hosts and staff. A good starting point for long or short walks in Verdon.
Cons: Compared to other places we stayed, both accommodation and dinner was on the expensive side compared to quality. Saint-Laurent is a very small village with little to do and see and only on restaurant.
With a stay at Hôtel Les Deux Lions in Riez, you'll be in a regional park, within a 15-minute drive of Lac de Sainte Croix and Verdon Regional Natural Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nice outside area / patio. Seemed very clean. Nice interior. Close proximity to city center.
Cons: There was no possibility to hang up the shower head in the bath tub on the wall to act as a shower. No lift. Could have had some whole grain alternative for breakfast, cereal for instance.
Pros: Fabulous location for the lavender fields, verdon du gorge and st croix. Riez itself is a charming village. Good restaurants and bars too. The hotel was extremely clean, very stylish and across the road to the village. Car parking was ample and the staff extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Pros: Super friendly staff. Incredibly clean and well presented. Room with a balcony. Value for money
Pros: Rooms were very nice and very clean
Cons: Outside of building is not very pretty and the breakfast was average at best
Pros: Convenient location for our travel needs. Breakfast was good
Pros: Nice terrace.
Cons: Doors were a bit noisy to lock and unlock so we would be woken up by late comers trying to get into their rooms.
Pros: Large, very clean room on the back with a balcony. Huge, comfortable bed. Great bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Very nice staff. Much appreciated fan provided in the room. And right on the GR4! Recommended.
Pros: Nice rooms with comfortable bed. Big bathroom.
Cons: There is a bigger street right outside the hotel and the traffic is loud. To get a quiet room you have to pay extra. There was a nice garden where you could eat breakfast however there were so many wasps that we couldn’t sit outside.
Pros: The hotel was lovely, very nice staff and very good breakfast. It was a very good location.
Cons: For a 3 star hotel it should have air con, refridgerater and tea and coffee making. It was very hot and we had no where to keep a cold drink to enjoy on the balcony. The small fan provided was not enough to keep the room comfortable in the heat.
Pros: The hotel is very close to lavander fields from all side: to Valensole direction lavander starts at 5 min from the hotel by car, to Sainte - Croix-du-Verdon direction lavander starts from 6 min from the hotel by the car. You are free to enjoy the azur warm water of Verdon lake (July-August) in 25 min by car. The Road of Creetes (D23) starts at 40 min by car
Cons: There is not fridge in the room, however, you can ask at receiption to use the fridge of the hotel up to 9p.m. For dinner you should better go to Greoux Les Banes as far as it's more picturesque and "tasty"place in comparison with Riez
