Almost nothing miserable, the room was awfull
Conveniently located of the A31 highway, close to the beautiful centre of Nancy, we were welcomed by a very friendly and pretty girl at reception who took the time to explain everything and even sold us on taking a trip to the centre of Nancy which we didn´t regret even though we were tired of traveling. Also, we liked the free and ample parking in front of the hotel. The hotel is not very modern, the bed felt like a trampoline and the breakfast buffet was very basic although very inexpensive so we weren´t complaining.
Quiet and good quality accomodation. Drinks making facilities in the rooms would have been good.
location Resto and bar closed
easy to find, clean rooms, english speaking staff breakfast expensive
room was clean the mattress, feeling was like you sleep in a water bed
Staff was very friendly.Price was good Very close to motorway. Blankets were a bit dusty.
Quick check in nice clean room very spacious good shower and breakfast very good choice and value for money. We have three persons in our room and we could have done with having three bath towels not two which we had plus the towels were a little on the small side.
the beds the restaurant
Restaurant was excellent for service, food quality and value for money.
Badly designed rooms. Very small and very dark. The bathroom is miniscule. Overall, the hotel is not suitable for family stay. Maybe is Ok for a night on a business trip.
Friendly service. Well equipped rooms. Close to public transport. Plenty of car parking.
Clean and freindly hotel excellent breakfast plenty of choice
We booked half board at this hotel, which was a good choice. We had an excellent dinner and breakfast.
environment, quietness, good public transport into the city
Hotel on the edge of town and tucked away down a small road. Security was good. Choice of food was limited and seems expensive.
access to hotel easy facilities at hotel closed when we returned after a visit to town, this was around 10.30 pm
Location No personel at location (arrived at sunday)
Perfect for my needs, no frills, clean and well run. Thanks. No
Proximity to Place Stanislas. Good value for money.
Excellent location, very close to main square in Nancy, friendly helpful owner clean room Minor inconveniences, the shower was not fixed to the wall so you had to hold the attachment while showering, our room was on the toad and a little noisy
Decore location and staff Sat nav took us to the wrong side of the square
squeaky bed; the door to bathroom/shower space did not close completely, so limited privacy
Location and frienlidness of staff No lift. Very small bathroom. Needs a refurbishment.
Location in relation to the place stanislas: staff very helpful. Liked the staircase. Parking was good No
The hotel has an excellent location in the city centre. My room overlooked the rear courtyard. My bicycle was parked in the rear courtyard, under a plastic sheet.
hotel did not open from 1400 to 1700 so we could not check in
It was centrally situated but in a very quiet location. The owner/manager was very helpful and friendly.
Superbly situated, a stone's throw from Place Stanislas. Very friendly. Free parking within easy walking distance. WiFi worked in stairwell and sometimes in room. The booking, confirmed by e-mail from this site, did not appear to be on the hotel's own system. However another room smaller, cheaper, was found for us with the possibility of moving to a larger room the next day. (We stayed put and saved money) WiFi worked in stairwell and sometimes in room. No lift.
friendliness of staff the location is horrible and does not invite us to book again
Friendly helpful and so relaxing. The location, it cost us 15 Euros for a taxi into town.
The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. There was no safe in the room and little information about the restaurant facilities.
Comfort, cleaness Evening Meals, fair but quantity too small.
free parking, access to highway, reception and bar area look nice. we booked this hotel for one night as a stop to cut a long trip from france to belgium, ok for that purpose if you can compromise on room quality and still pay expensive rate. room decor is poor and old. children's bed old, not stable, swinging and making iritating noise. room carpets old and look dirty. contrary to reservation confirmation interntet in room is not free, costs 4.9 eur an hour - a rip off.
The bed was very comfortable
The position of the hotel (near the motorway, but very quiet) and the breakfast (wide choice of everything) The sofa/bed for children (in the room with the parents) was rather small to allow two children to sleep.
24 hour reception, secure parking and location was the reason of our choice. Might it be that the hotel is trying to save on water - I checked 2 rooms but bathtubs in both of them had leaky stoppers (not possible to take bath, but only shower)
Every single member of staff was polite, friendly, helpful and natural. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. We stayed for one night to break a long road journey and this hotel is perfect for that purpose as it is close to the motorway, not in the city centre.
Room itself was quiet, ie not much noise from other apartments (with exception of water tank filling loudly) and, even though we were on first floor on top of a bar and on a busy roundabout, the double glazing did its job very well. Also, there appeared to be separate lifts for different kinds of user. The shower was powerful, lovely to find in a hotel at this price. Very good value for money. Would recommend for students wanting studio flats. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. This is not a complaint, just something that wasn't up to the standard of the rest of the hotel, and is easily rectifiable. The cleaners had obviously not been out on the balcony of our superior room as the floor was covered in cigarette ends. Otherwise, the hotel was extremely good value for money.
The location of the hotel was very convinient for me I lost 45 min looking for the hotel, if possible put some signs around it and put exact post code for it, because I couldn't track it down neither with Garmin nor with Nokia maps
Room smelled of smoke although I booked a non-smoking room
It is OK for a night when travelling through France to the south or back. Although booking.com confirmed that a fourth bed for a small kid was available, it was not and it was also not possible.
Quiet The hotel is quite old. There was no hot water in the morning because, we were told, the pipe broke. Had to take a cold shower which wasn't pleasant!
Centrally located. Good price. Nice staff. Clean rooms.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was good, close to everything we wanted to visit and close to lovely restaurants. The WiFi reception was excellent. The premises was a lovely former old home. Nothing
The atmosphere of the building and the location in the old city centre, friendliness of the staff. The room and bed were very small. Noise from other rooms got through the thin walls.
Nice location in the old district of Nancy. This hotel has a special flair. It looks like a museum due to its collection of old stuff shown in the hall and stairs. isolation between rooms could be improved.
Clean, spacious rooms; well-disposed and complaisant staff Really poor and unstable Internet connection.
A very nice individual hotel based right in the centre of the lovely city of Nancy, making it easy to explore, but it was not noisy at all. Staff were helpful. Directions were good so it was easy to find. Parking nearby. Felt that the hotel offered good value for money.
The location in the old town was convenient. Rooms were clean. Room and bathroom were small, but clean and basic. It was just a place to crash at the end of the day so it suited us fine. Breakfast is expensive, better to grab a fresh croissant at a nearby bakery.
de beschaafde kwaliteit
Typical 2-star hotel, but in a great location for walking the old city. There is no lift, so you have to drag your own luggage upstairs to your room.
The breakfast is good and staff are helpful. The shower is half-door closed and water splits when taking shower.
All seasons is very near to the centre. One can easily walk to all the interesting places, shops and restaurants none
Location, garage available and pleasant staff.
Good parking facilities, however not for free. Breakfast OK. Nice location WIFI didn't work, incorrect information in room about internet use
The staff was very helpful and everything was very clean. Also the complimentary water and tea at the reception was appreciated. The room was quite small. We have had some problems with the bathroom pluming which, despite the good will of the staff, were not solved.
The hotel is in very easy walking distance to the main places of interest. The lift was very small making it very difficult to fit into along with our luggage. For the price the breakfast was meagre and better value could be had breakfasting at a local cafe.
The staff were very helpful, the room was functional and the private car park was convenient.
We have stayed at the hotel two years ago and the renovation works were much needed. The rooms are too small for two persons.
Easy to find, easy parking and excellent food just around the corner. Nothing really bad to say, just the colors and orange plastic furniture...
The breakfast was excellent 1. Beds were extremely uncomfortable - back aches 2. Parking was a big problem. I could not get space two out of four nights 3. Room was much smaller than described in your internet space. I rewerved a triple but got what appeared to be a double with day bed. Absolutely no room for 3 people .
The breakfast selection was extremely limited and not worth the money.
had a good tv it was a buget hotel and thats what you got
Quiet location Very difficult to find - road signs were misleading
cheap and offers everything
Simple but afforable (Formula-1 type) hotel with good parking facility Located to the far east of Nancy, inconventient from the highway. Also in an industrial area, so not much to do there.
Whats to say it's another Novatel, but it's showing its age. On site parking was a critical factor in chosing accommodation in Nancy For a hotel that actively markets to businesses for conferences etc it is pathetic that they done provide Wifi free throughout the hotel
It was a good stay for one night. People were friendly. Location was good, easy to reach by car. no comments
Easy to reach from highway
Hotel Staff helpful and pleasant to deal with, Food rather expensive in the restaurant The Hotel is in a semi industrial area and is not suitable for taking walks from the hotel it is not located in a tourist area.
Great value; clean large rooms; easy to find None
A room have two free extra beds. Also French news papers, including L'equipe, are available for free. There are a few, limited kinds of food for breakfast.
nice atmosphere no douche in bathroom
Nothing was exceptional - there were the usual Novotel facilities - large car-park, good standard of room comfort, good restaurant. No
The service of the reception The staff of the breakfast, very dominant girl, rest of staff was doing nothing. Everything was to much.Airco did not work on every hotel room. Therefor poor comfort. Roomes are all the same; very small. So there is no so called family room. In the contrary of their website; Swimming pool was closed due to local regulations, start opening by June!. Don' t go here! It is a tourist trap.
Beautiful and tastefully decorated hotel. Very helpful staff.
The staff were very friendly. Cosy. Very good breakfast, you got lot for the money. Good that the Tram was nearby the hotel for going in to the centre of the town. Sad, that it was not possible to have bread without gluten. I had to bring my own bread.
comfort of the bed no detectable reduction if reservation through booking.com or directly with the hotel
Central location, friendly staff (despite my lack of French). Clean tidy room, value for money. secure car parking close by. No Bar, limited breakfast options and television reception a bit poor.
An elegant traditional hotel with a very helpful staff. Good central location. Very good free Wi-Fi. Impossible to sleep with the window open due to a lot of noise from the street. No air conditioning. The beds and blankets are short, and that makes sleeping ever more difficult. Not recommended for a relaxed stay.
Good combination of price, location and comfort. We obtained room with balkony on same price but we didn`t ask that. Good view on street and housetops. It's easy to get center by steps or using tram. Not far from railway station and supermarket, but in silent place. Check in till 10 pm (it is difficult to find in Nancy).
Nothing special, but without any specific issue or remark. Location is not perfect. 10 mins of walk from the train station but on the wrong side.
Staff were all very helpful and flexible. The meals were just fine. It was good to stay in a hotel that was not a boring predictable multinational hotel, while being close to the railway line from Paris, the Eurocar pick-up point and shops. Cracked toilet bowl in our room.
The staff was extremely courteous and friendly!
I liked the view from my window. There was lovely flowers. Little walk from the station, but if you use a tram, it should be fine
Small new open air pool. It is located next to the motorway. So it is a bit noisey however the room are still quiet enough
the possibility to make coffee in the morning we cou,ld not order drinks before 19.00h the bed was very small for two Dutch
Ease of use and the position of hotel for our journey
It was conveniently situated for the station, main square and shops.
Good centeral location. Comfortable bed and good soundproofing so no noise from other rooms. Roomy for a french hotel. The machine to squeeze your own orange juice at breakfast was a superb addition to an extremely good breakfast. The room was too hot and the heating did not turn off.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful
Good breakfast, very pleasant and helpful staff. Procedure for getting TV seemed a bit long!
Staff were best we have come across. Extremely helpful and courteous.
Helpful staff, clean room and bathroom, great location for Hotel De Ville and Light Show.
please give me points for this stay to my recently opened Acor account
Right in the middle of Nancy. Parking facilities
I booked a twin room and all they had left when i checked in was a double. There was no apologie or compensation offer, it was a take it or leave it attitude.
Very clean and modern, great place for overnight visit or longer.
Superb location right on gorgeous Place Stanislas. Excellent Concierge service. Beautifully decorated public areas and rooms. Excellent rapport quality/price for the courtyard-side double-standard room we had. Minor detail...We chose one of the less expensive rooms which did not have a mini-fridge or hair dryer. If asked for, I'm sure a hairdryer would have been sent to the room. Bathrobe was nice touch.
The location is convenient for museums, restaurants and the world heritage sights in Nancy. It is two blocks from the tram line. The hotel is located on Stanislas Square. Every night around 10 to 11 PM, there is a son et lumiere show in the square with a powerful sound system. Afterward, the locals drink and party in the square until early morning. Sleep is difficult. The hotel does not have parking for guests.
The location of this hotel is definitely its best feature. Although it is still grand, it has seen better days...Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The room was far too hot when we checked in, we had to turn the radiator off.
The very central location. Its situation in the grandiose historic Stanislas square. The proximity of many excellent restaurants and shops. The complicated access by road and the lack of hotel parking.
I thought the location was spectacular and room met all of our needs and was excellent value
Right on the most beautiful plaza
The location and the hotel being very authentic The beds were a bit to soft and the furniture was a bit outdated. To some extent it did give it some extra character, but a bit more moderated would not be a bad thing.
The fact that it was situated in the Stanislaus Square is a plus point. The same cleanliness and well kept historic beauty of the Square ends on the Hotel doorstep. This Hotel could be a gem, but it is evident that it is being neglected. The cleanliness is not up to standard. The bedrooms and bathrooms are badly needing renovation e.g. paint, the splitting windows, tile the bathroom floor and wall to standard, toilet lid broke off. General feeling of non-interest from the staff. Friendliness and attention to guests is a Hotel service and should be expected for this price. Sorry, but perhaps a little bit of this money could be used for the above problems. That would make it a hotel to remember.
We stayed at this hotel in 2007 and enjoyed it as much then as we did this time.
Comfortable bed, good bathroom, lovely terrace on the square. Non-free and overpriced wi-fi, mini-bar/fridge didn't work, burns in the carpet.
Location excellent Room had a smoke smell
Superb place for a low budget stay.
In proximity to train station, center of the town Under the floor, no soap in the bath room.
The hotel is very close to the city centre and the room was not very big but comfortable and clean. The staff was also very friendly. This hotel/motel is ideal for short term stay because is really economic without any flair and fair parking slots. Breakfest: Dont try the optional - breakfast for 7,50€/person . For this price you obtain a croissont and machinecoffe and machine juice (all you can drink).Save the money and go to a bar in the center or a bakery and spend there the money. Bathroom: Only small plastic-bathroom inside with shower and toilet at maximum 1qm. Not recommendable for long term staying.
Central location and on site parking. Although booking was 'no smoking' there was an ashtray in the room and cigarette burns on the sink. Toilet/shower module is very compact!
private car park, value for money
location, peacefullness Small shower
Quiet hotel. Simple (mininalistic) facilities but clean & comfortable. Staff helpful.
The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the city centre of Nancy, as well as to Art Nouveau houses such as the Villa Majorelle. Basic room but fair, in view of the price of the night at this hotel.
The double room was nice, it even had a TV, although we didn't use it, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is also close to the railway station and city centre and the prices are very good. The bathroom was a bit small, but fully functional.
