The Hotel was located conveniently for our purpose. It was clean & quiet. The staff were always helpful. We considered the food was poor
Basic hotel for the people who want to stay in St. Ouen
staff was very helpful and friendly, everything was great no
Unhelpful front desk staff. Poor internet connection. Incomplete condiments for in room drink making (tea/ coffee)
nothıng locatıon .rooms . receptıon
Very professional, helpful and friendly staff No garden/no possibility for being outdoor even though the hotel has a small garden. More options on the menu in the restaurant would have been nice.
hotel is in a great location for the stade de france, just a short metro ride away
The reason I chose this Hotel was its proximity to the Stade de France. It was fine for for my requirements. On arrival the receptionist was particularly unhelpful, though in contrast the one on duty on the Sunday was very pleasant and helpful.
not far from the center very small rooms and bad beds
Was not there first time. In overall was OK. Wide menu in breakfast. Did not like sound insulation between rooms and corridor. Minor problem.
very clear, friendly staff, nice rooms shower kind of tiny, no parking space other than paying, not even for the first hour in which people come loaded with luggage and have to choice but to pay for the parking.
Very modern and clean. Good service and in-room amenities. Free wifi...and easy check-in-check out Walking distance to the Airport price was a little higher
small room, but clean, modern, and convenient location
Rooms setup good for the space and the iPad. No snacks and limited food on the buffet along with price being too high for the food you received.
Very comfortable living room with easy access to outdoor patio. Perfect for our relaxing drinks Great staff service offer to contact taxi but high priced just to CDG 2 A
Close to the RER stop at CDG terminal 1, and easy access to all three CDG terminals. Rapid and easy automated check-in and check-out. Room was clean and well-appointed. The desk had three outlets in different voltages, as well as USB ports making charging devices and working easy. Bed was very comfortable, the blackout curtains shut out light effectively, and the room was quiet. Would have no hesitation staying at a citizenM hotel again. Meals were good, but expensive for the quality. Beaming media to the TV from the handheld pad is a nice touch, but it is difficult to figure out how to beam media to the TV while getting audio to headphones.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, highly recommended and great price.
I was a honor member but did not have my members number on me at the time of check in but they gave me free WIFI on my word and came down with the information later that evening. I appreciate the honor service Since I prepaid and I was not planning to use any other services, I did not appreciate not knowing at check-in that there was a city tax that was not in the prepaid payment. Even though the amount was only 5Euro, I should have been told this at check-in and better yet it should have been part of the prepaid amount which state that is was room charge and taxes. I had limited funds since I was coming from vacation and I had spent most of my Euro's by the time I was checking out of hotel.
Clean room with comfortable beds. The tech gadgets in the room and the entertainment system were excellent Service was just ok. There were a bunch of very young staff with variable level of service mentality. They market a 24/7 canteen which is nothing more than a refrigerator full of pre made food. There was a warm meal offered at dinner for 23 Euro which was essentially self serve cafeteria food. We tried to get a cocktsil nightcap and we're told there was no alcohol service after midnight despite the fact that there was a staff member behind the bar. I asked if we could take a bottle of beer ( in the refrigerator ) to the room and the staff member made it clear he didn't want to answer the same question more than once. I've been to Paris many times and I don't recall a midnight curfew for alcohol. This wouldn't be such a big deal if they hadn't marketed the 24/7 canteen so heavily. The service was essentially hostel service.
We really appreciated how clean and functional the room was, a very small micro-studio but designed well with clean countertops, a very clean bathroom, and easy to use controls for blinds/shower/tv etc. The large bed and towels were very comfortable. It was also helpful to have a casual restaurant/bar onsite, we had everything we needed after a long drive to the airport. The computer check-in was new for us and confusing at first, but the attendant was extremely helpful with all of our questions.
Hands off but fully available approach to customer service. Fully digitally connected as well as humanly connected. The staff is always available and extremely friendly. Fantasic rooms with great digital access on both entertainment and communication/internet. This is in my top ten hotels ever. I have been travelling for over 25 years worldwide. There was nothing I didn't like excecpt maybe the price of the brekfast buffett.
Brand new Hotel with a very Chic attitude. We didn't stay in paris Long enough. At least 3 nights is needed to get a sense of this Beautiful City.
Easy, convenient access to Charles de Gaulle airport. Free wifi. Rooms are small but use space efficiently, so there was enough room for everything.
Ibis is conveniently located near the RER and the CDGVAL, very accessible. It is quiet, rooms are clean and decent price for one night's rest, before heading back home.
Very close to cdgval, efficient and clean. Many dining options but basic food. Rooms are very basic.
Not bad, quite expensive, especially when you factor in that you have to pay €21 extra per day per computer (we're two people with two laptops) for internet, plus quite a bit more for taxes and breakfast and parking. Ultimately our €475 room came to about €750 per night with all the extras. Room service food is outrageously expensive - €36 for breakfast - plus tax, gratuity, room service fee, all comes to about €55 and that's if you don't tip the guys either. And, watch the bill, they have habit of charging for extra items that should be included in your breakfast set. The staff were mostly efficient but cold or indifferent and the maid's service was either dumb or lazy or both. They'd always miss things or forget to clean our room or leave the breakfast tray in the room while cleaning everything else. I guess that's room service's job, not theirs?
The level of service of the Hilton Chain and its luxury
Pleasant and helpfull staff ,good atmosphere in hotel The hotel has a lovely bar however at 14 euros for a beer you won't stay long
I was pleasantly surprised that such comfortable and business-friendly property at the heart of Paris existed. Aside from the rate, I think the hotel was excellent in all aspects for a person travelling on business who has a little spare time for some leisure. As I stated, I thought the rate was a bit on the high side given it's location.
The room and comfort of the bed and friendliness of the staff could not get selection of movie channels and had no confirmation from the engineer sent to the room as to when it would be operational again.
Service was excellent, and the Purple Bar was Fantastic.
central location in room tv very bad overall: choice of channels, image, etc air con would only heat and not cool-only way to sleep was to open window
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Refreshing to get this kind of service...
Location great, friendly helpful staff, they had flowers, champagne and cake in room on arrival, beautiful touch.
The hotel in very good location
Prefessional and friendly staf
Very good location - great staff - great rooms Parking was not easy - unloading luggage almost impossible - No room Service
Location Room service too bad
the hotel as a whole nothing
The location is perfect. When we arrived the television didn't work but they fixed it the next day. Also, a friend left an envelope for me at the desk and it was never delivered to me. Otherwise it was fine.
How the hotel looks like residence, the kitchen should stay the same as the first day, and dont the service getting worst day by day, the suplies getting poor. The first day should be the same as last day.
good location,Spacious room, and clean the internet in business center is not free, unlike other hotels
Great attention, all star was always trying to give us the best experience
Hotel staff were trying their best and cooperative The hotel was understaffed compared to the occupancy rate
Location and only the location is the best thing for this hotel Old firntures , old paints , bad semll from the toilet and the very old carpets which looks more than 30 years used !!! at the end the price is very expensive for the room status and the room level , i did't recommend this hotel
The staff were extremely friendly and heplful. The room was very nice and the location excellent. Unfortunately, the hotel was underoing renovations (something which was not mentioned on the web site and we did not find out about until we were actually in our room). We had to put up with drilling noises from 9am to 5pm on the 3 days that we were there. When we asked to be moved to a different room we were told that this was not possible, however they promised to refund us 100 euros. I have a feelinf had we not booked the 'discount' price we would have been allocated a room in a different location.
location & style
The staff was most courteous and helpful. The hotel was very convenient to the heart of Paris and many of its attractions. I recommend that reservations be re-confirmed prior to travelling to avoid any confusion.
Location, style, very friendly and professional staff at front desk and concierge Room not very spacious, no gym/spa
Great atmosphere, helpful staff.
We loved the central location, across from the Louvre and the Gardens of Toulerie as well as the view of the Eiffel Tower. Sightseeing, shopping and all types of dining were within walking distance. There was nothing unpleasant about this hotel.
Location and attention to detail by a superb staff
Location is superb. Near to all fascilities and amneties Being along the main road, its somewhat noisy
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was amazing the view from our balcony was superb excellent stay overall would have liked if breakfast was included in the rate
Location of Napoleon Paris is excellent. We stayed in the superior room and its size is really big. It is great value of money.
In general everything was very good. The room was a very nice and a very good size for Paris. I paid €160 for the night which was very good value for a hotel of this standard in this location. My bed had a dip in the middle
The ambience, the friendly staff and the proximity to city attractions
Location and the comfort of the suite. Clean linen, well thought interior. Charming decor Nothing other than the smell of cigarette smoke in the suite. Cigarette butts were found on the carpet on second day after housekeeping.
Location and decor Rooms quite small
Our room spacious, very comfortable. we were close to metro - shopping - it was a great location and a great place to stay - we would stay there again!
location only need some renovation for the rooms furniture was too old
Breakfast buffet Internet conexion should be included in the price of the room as many hotels do
The hotel is superbly located, very comfortable, with wery friendly and helpful staff
Friendly staff, and very good size of room. Most facilities available. Breakfast only dining room.
Convenience & closeness to hub of city sights & metro network. Price a little too steep
Hotel Burgundy is very well situated in the Opera district, and was a great "home base" for seeing the sights of Paris. The hotel is quite small, but clean and good value for money.
Everything was great. It's a beautiful hotel with a lovely decoration. Very clean, the staff is helpfull and sympathetic. Excellent location, just behind the rue St. Honore. We were really impressed and will recommend it to our friends.
Hotel was very well located, minutes walk from sights and attractions. Our room was luxuriously presented, designer style in black, grey with cherry red accent colours. Bathroom included large bath and separate shower. The ambience in reception is very welcoming, candles lit and very fragrant with attentive staff. There is a spa at the Hotel which my husband enjoyed. Our room was located at the front of the building and we were disturbed by delivery vans, refuse vans in the early hours of every morning. We would stay at the Hotel again but request a quietly located room at the back of the building.
The location is perfect as it is in the city center. Spa and indoor swimming pool as well as professional massage. Car parking services was great as it is almost impossible to park anywhere in Paris. The bed mattress was not comfortable as compared to other five stars hotels.
We had a beautiful modern bath and a spacious room that comfortably accomodated my mother, daughter and myself. The front desk staff was helpful in providing directions and making reservations. We never had to wait in line at the desk. The location was superb. We had a wonderful experience here. The lounge area is a bit dark and cramped so this is a hotel that is best suited for exploring the city and returning to a comfortable room for relaxing and a great night's sleep.
The staff was incredibly helpful. Not only were they multilingual but they went out of their way to accommodate for our needs pointing out good restaurants and good places to tour. Given the American standards for comfort about bathroom necessities, the shower was a bit awkward and we found it took much longer to shower when compared to the typical American standards. Ultimately, the issue did not proove to be a burnden to our trip.
My sister and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during November. We found the hotel to be fantastic. The design and layout perfect. Location couldnt be better if you want to wish to shop around in the big department store Galerie. The best part of the hotel was the wonderful staff. I found all of them to be superb and their english fault less!. We even forgot a mobile in the room and when we phoned the hotel to check if it was there they offered to bring it to us! This was fanstastic as we were waiting at the bus stop for the airport bus. Thats service!!!
Please write at least 15 words
superb hotel, superb staff, couldnt do enough for you. yes it is a lot of money, but for a treat and/or special occasion highly, highly reccomended
The location near to everywhere, the bed is extraordinary comfortable ! Only for the breakfast rooms need more improvement, more bigger for more guests.
i liked its central location the staff where very knowledgeable and the beds and bed linen were out of this world it was my birthday during our stay and was given a bottle of champagne i disliked the prices
Bathroom small and uncomfortable and needs to be redesign
Location, staff support, comfort, friendliness
Location & service are really good! They gave me a present at my birthday surprisingly.
confort of the room
The Location which central to tourist sites + the cleanliness of the room
Hotel staff are ok, but need more english speaking staff if possible Location, location
The room was quite small but fine for me. I cant really imagine sharing it with anyone - I had filled the small closet and two shelves for clothing. The people at the hotel were nice. The toilet was a separate room and was very small. Too small for my liking.
The location is absolutely superb. Towards the end of our stay the service deteriorated, e.g. room was only serviced late in the afternoon on 2 days
The hotel is located in the most central part of Paris, walking distance to all major touris attractions. The staff is very polite and welcoming very helpful as well. The room and common area design to perfection. The food in the Resturant is to die for. Very nice hotel worth every penny. You can't get food after 12pm even though the menu says 24/7
location decor friendly It had plumbing issues. i.e.. oder . Cleaning staff was noisy in the mornings. Staff needs training. This is not a five star Hotel.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel room was pleasant with a fine view of the Eiffel Tower in the distance. The restaurant menu was very expensive but this is to be expected in the middle of Paris. We didn't eat in!
the location and the design of the hall the rooms are quite small and the rooms on the court which are very calm have the view on a part which has to be still restored
breakfast was great we missed our flight because the front desk/concierge team could not arrange the taxi to arrive on time (even though we were assured the night before that we would have plenty of time and that their taxi partners always came early or on time, never late).
Great location, personal service Small room
The staff is amazing. Room always clean. Great location
the staff, the room, the ease of the staff and the location
Atention of the staff is excellent. The hotel shows pictures on the Internet rooms that have been renovated and hence modern and luxurious; however, the room we stayed has not been renovated at all and furniture, carpet and design were old.
soft matresses missed more equipment in bathroom
it was next to the metro station
Location and comfort.
Location, nice atmosphere On the expensive side
Concierge services are exceptional - special thanks to Eric, Remy, Magaly.
Great traditional typical parisian 4* hotel. Excellent location. Wanted 100 euros to stay until 1:00pm for check-out. Offered me 12 noon free.
The welcoming and very helpful staff, cleanliness of rooms, and above all, the excellent location. The room service was poor. We had a baby and we used to order warm milk twice a day. They gave us hot milk one day, watered down the other, cold another, and so on, even though every day we asked for a glass of warm milk. I guess it all depends on who is on the shift.
O.K., I know its owned by Hyatt but It still felt boutiquey and small with a personal touch (as if not owned by Hyatt). The staff focused on attentive service, from the front desk, to room service, etc. Its clearly part of the staff culture. There is an intimate feel as if they all know each other--and everything about you. When I spoke to one front desk person they know a discussion I had with another the day before. The Concierge was amazing and made recommendations and the actual reservations and when things were not available made good judgments on his own for changes. We felt like they know us and were watching out for us. It is not that big really which helps in this case. The rooms felt well maintained with a terrific balance of old world and new. Highly Recommended!!!!
The quality of the rooms, decoration, and space are far far less than shown in the pictures and indicated in the hotel desciption.
Excellent location, helpful staff, clean rooms, large and light bathrooms, really french atmosphere, close to most of the sightseeings and fashion boutiques. The decoration of rooms is a bit tired, but this is a problem of the most of the hotels in the centre of Paris.
The worst hotel Old smelly rooms , bad carpet dirty, wood very bad
Great location ......just a short walk from some fantastic places of great interest. Buzzing cafe night life right on the doorstep too....good atmosphere in the hotel... It seemed expensive and the quality failed to match the expense....certainly for a pound based UK visitor. There was a shortage of helpful welcoming staff....particularly at reception where you face an unacceptable wait. Irritating.
The best about hte hotel is its location - just next to the Louvre, between two squares, walking distance to everything I wanted to visit (never took a taxi or any other kind of transport). The receptionists were English-speaking and nice and helpful. The room was spacey (stayed in a junior suit), as well as the bathroom, cosy and clean. In fact, everything in the room, as well as the service, could be compared to a 5* hotel (including the cosmetics in the bathroom). Plus, the free WiFi is a nice addition to all. The hall and the corridors need renewing - the first impression of the hotel lowers ones expectations because of the old and a bit dirty common spaces in the hotel. Another thing, is that the air-conditioning was poorly working and it was a bit hot, but I just turned it off and opened the windows from time to time. Also, unpleasant surprice was the thinnes of the walls - I could hear every slam of a door and footsteps, however, no one really made noise, so I slept like a baby. One more thing about noise is that the windows of my room overlooked an inner yard and when opening the window there was a bussying sound from the air-conditioning or other machines. Overall, these were quite minor problems and didn't spoil my stay in the least!
The staff - everyone is very helpful wifi should be more accessable almost everywhere within the hotel
Very good location just few steps from Champs Elysees and metro station. prices
Old world style. Staff excellent. Very personal.
great location, good staff, large room, happy overall Quite expensive. The early morning noise mentioned by some reviewers is true & we experienced this on both days of our stay.
Hotel staff, services, Staff courtesy
The staff is really nice, the facilities are modern and is very very close to all the good stuff and the Ecole Militaire Metro Station which let's you go basically anywhere. It a very good hotel and I would definitely recommend it at the right price(4 star hotel price) The hotel is good but definitely not a 5 star. This is a good 4 star hotel in my opinion. The facilities are modern but not fancy and the rooms are super small, I know, this is europe but my room in a 4 star hotel in downtown Bruges was much bigger then this one and cheaper. And my opinion is not based in just that, I'm also considering that I have stayed at other 5 star hotels(in Europe and other places) and they are definitely better. I wouldn't consider this a 5 star hotel. A very good 4 star hotel, FOR SURE, but NOT a 5 star.
Overal was good. Room service selection was limited in choices. I Bar only have French Menue and no English. No English Channel on TV only CNN. Mentioned above
Atendimento da recepção e concierge. Housekeepers should make less noise and be more gentle when closing the room doors. They should start working after nine o´clock and attend the customers requirements more acurately. Matress is too softy and unconfotable and unable to provide a good sleeping.
Hospitality of hoel staff At 29 euros per person, breakfast is quite expensive.
The rooms are great as are the staff.
The Sofitel Hotel is well located and within walking distance of the Champ Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe as well as the Charles De Gaulle Metro. This allows for good connectivitey. There are also some good inexpensive eateries nearby. We mentioned that we were coming on the Honeymoon in our notes but we were treated as if I was the Sole occupier of the room. The Honeymoon touch was missing a bit especially since we read about another review who were treated specially for theri honeymoon.
Severly understaffed and any service requested takes quite a while. Rooms were not cleaned on on time, until we requested specifically to clean them in the evening. Turndown service was done on 1 day of 4. Used glasses from the minibar were not replaced for 3 days. Waited 1 hour for check-in after arriving at 4pm on a Friday. etc.
airconditioning was not very effective despite my changing the room.
The location is just fantastic - the hotel is located in 2 minutes walk from the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees, with nice shops and restaurants all around! Hotel staff is nice. Breakfast was very nice with a good variety, a bit expensive though (31 euros per person, free for kids). Free internet in room (luxury room). Variety of tv channels was very poor.
We liked the location, the building, the interior design and the friendly staff. We also like d the fact that it was brand new and everything was clean. We could use a writing area in the room a stand for the suitcase and hooks for the towels in the bathroom.
the room and lobby Inexperienced staff
Perfectly situated in the Opera District of Paris
I enjoyed staying at this hotel! It is really great and staff is very helpfull and nice! We had a great room! The breakfast was delicious and athmosphere of the hotel is very nice although it is a splendid style for not everyone to understand! For some people room maybe dark but it is a design and for us it was great! If the prices will remain the same next year we definetely will stay only in this hotel! Thank you for a wonderfull staying in your hotel! I would like to give advice for russian travellers, it is better to pay for the room by cash at check-in, becausу the hotel first make a pre-authorisation and the at check out they charge money from the card and it takes a lot of time for the bank to return money back. Please note also that a day before check-in the hotel blockes amount for the first night on the credit card!
The service provided from all the staff, very friendly and sincere. There is no weighting machine for guest to weight their luggage to avoid being tax. Shortage of multi plug.
It's a 4 star hotel that is well worth its stars, providing an excellent service to the travellor: slippers and bathrobe available in the room, generous flasks with shampoo, body lotion and shower gel - very much appreciated especially for those who travel with only their handluggage!
Location is perfect, I like a still of the rooms... Room is very small and bathroom and toilet is not so big,
Reasonable sized room for urban Paris. Good Wifi, Nice bathroom. Hotel staff was not responsive. Also, they cancelled my dinner reservation, even though I told them to confirm it. I was upset.
The location is fantastic and the metro close by to get to all the sights. Breakfast was a little disorganised and the shower tends to leak all over the floor as the shower door does not keep the water in. I would say that they could provide better service in the bar as it was hard to find someone when wanting a drink which I would not expect from a 4 star hotel.
The hotel design is stunning, the rooms are comfortable and stylish and the location is great. The staff were inexperienced and service consequently slow.
Location was good. The room was terrible, no operable window, flooded bathroom from roll in shower. AC ran non-stop, room was too small with nowhere to sit, set luggage and the rate was ridiculous considering. Nowhere near four star accommodations.
Hotel staff is very friendly, rooms are large, location is very convenient even if you want to visit Paris, hotel is close to subway. nothing - all good
Hotel is located a stone's throw from the main Metro line, so it is in a convenient location, however it is in the business district.
Stayed at Fraser Suite in London, all of us said good. When we come to Fraser at La Defense, all of us say Wow - it excellent. 1. Less than 5 mins walk to metro. 2. Very nice, friendly and helpful front desk. 3. Our 2-bedroom are very comfort (very similar to N. America spacing). It not like normal hotel room in Europe - Fraser here provide a big room. Our 2 bed-room also comes with 2 balconies. 4. Quiet and fresh air (compare to Paris downtown) environment. If travel with 4 or more people, this is the 1st choice - no doubt.
clean and the location of hotel
Location, very good breakfast and the space of the rooms. The staff is not very welcoming. the view of the room was very bad.
nice and roomy. nice view. good kitchen. Overall, a great stay.
Space of the rooms and comfort
Convenience of location and siz of the apartment. Plenty of space. Automatic switching on of the air conditioning at 6am every morning no matter whether it was off or not!!!
The space no diner facilities
We stayed as a group. This hotel was ideal for us, having a separate kitchen. The location was great only a short ride in the metro The only complaint that we had was the room sounded like the wind was coming through the front door and was very noisy.
the accessibility to the city any and the room quality
Great location, great hotel, great staff! They upgraded us to an awesome room with a spectacular view for free the attendant was very nice and helpful.
Hotel was under construction (and for quite some time apparently) so I'll spare you with the details of what that means when you are trying to catch up on some much needed sleep. Staff responded poorly to this situation that was not communicated ahead. Very dissapointing. One last thing, te hotel seems to be weel located because few hundred meters from champs Elysee but it is quite a dead area at night.
