Cons:The staff were hard to deal with when my reservation didn't come through. I didn't stay here.
Cons:I reserved a king size bed and a smoking room and when i got there they gave me a queen and non smoking. The receptionist said it a computer error and there was nothing she could do
Pros:When you need a cheap no frills place to stay and don't care about amenities then the Econo Lodge will do ok.
Cons:To start with they collected an undisclosed $20.00 room damage deposit from me and only after my refusal to give them the money without a receipt did they write one on my room receipt. Upon leaving the front desk called someone to "check the room" before giving back the deposit. This all took less than 3 minutes which I thought was suspect. The room I got was ok. there was a special event in the area so I had to book a smoking room. It stunk but I was prepared to put up with that. There was another non-smoking room available but since I used Kayak to book the room they refused to let me switch. Sheets and one pillow had cigarette burns in them but being a health inspector I did check for bed bugs and saw no evidence of them.
