Nice, comfortable hotel, very helpfull staff, modern clean rooms.
Great people, beautiful hotel!
Big and very nice rooms with splendid view of the alps
The breakfast room and the breakfast itself Noise isolation of the room was very bad. We can hear the neighbor talking. In addition, we had one of the smallest room in the hotel I suppose. It is not a proper real room, it is a connecting room. Specifically ask for not getting one of those... And just 6-7 parking spaces for a hotel of 38 rooms...
Excellent service. Room very comfortable and clean. Lovely breakfast... Very friendly and helpful staff. :-)
The size of the room; the quietness; the new fittings; the attentive staff.
We like this hotel very much. It was newly renovated...guess we're on their 2nd day of biz. We got a pleasant surprise, as we're here for honeymoon. The staffs prepare us a complimentary champange & pastries, to welcome us. We got a big jacuzzi in our room, where we can enjoy our time in our room, despite e cold winter. Plus, there was a free entry to the famous nearby Mineral Spa. The breafast was spendid, in a ballroom style. [One of the receptionist was rather pretty, helpful & gentle. Kind of miss her, though. :) Her name is Daniella.] Price wise - It's abit on the high side, though. We paid abt $132 euro, but guess... that's winter peak seasons price, at St Moritz region.
Staffs are kind. Breakfast is very nice. Jacuzzi is great! Very cosy and charming place.
1.The newly renovated room 2.The cleanliness of the room and especially of the bathroom 3.The comfortable bathroom with jacuzzi 4.The breakfast with extended variety 5. The friendly and ready to service staff 6.The view The only problem is the sound from the nearby rooms.
Fine service, exceptional breakfast in a beautiful room No complaints at all
Hotel Schweizerhof Pontresina was excellent. The staff were very very good and very professional. Everything in the hotel met our expectations , cleanliness, serice and food.. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would enjoy another visit.
very nice position of the hotel, in Pontresina. Extremely nice staff.
To expensive in relation to the room
The staff is efficient, friendly, and helpful. The dining is excellent. The room was large and clean, and my top floor room had a great view of the Alps. The hotel facilities Re nice including a large check-in area, comfortable lobby, and friendly bar. The overall feeling of the hotel is warm and inviting. My sons and I have come here twice to ski at St. Moritz, and will come again. I love the staff and hotel. +41818393434
Nicely located in the center of Pontresina. Good Breakfast Buffet. Excellent Restaurant. Use of the big indoor/outdoor swimming pool of Pontresina was included. Ideal to relax after a day of hiking in the mountains. Has a garage.
Great staff, close to everything
Very helpful and attentive staff. Bathrooms are in the 50s style (very old fashioned).
Staff was very friendly! Excellent diner in the restaurant.
Cosy, beautiful view, nice rooms Toilet
Nice and practical location, you can leave the car and go walking or by cableways, buses, trains, everywhere, Simple yet confortable and complete hotel lorganization, Beautiful view of mountains and village. Furniture is 60's 70's style and old, but not worn out.. Optimistically it could become a kind of vintage.. The smell in the garage is not.. "reassuring".
The room was very nice and comfortable.
Very pleasant stuff, cleanliness of hotel. I think that hotels should have free parking for guests.
gutes Preis-, Leistungsverhaeltnis, freundliches/hilfsbereites Personal -
Very nice room, large size & pretty location. We were not told about the swimming pool, spa services & availability of these things for guests until the day we left. Could have used them since we had cold, rainy weather during our stay.
very good part buffet dinner and breakfast, staff pleasant and friendly, very good service pillows lumpy, duvet polyester
The staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was large and comfortable. We ate one evening at the Grill and found the food disappointing. Some seemed to be pre-packeged and pre-cooked. The waiter was very nice but quite inexperienced. Still, the price was reasonable.
The staff were very helpful. Very affordable accomodation. Heated flooring in hotel room : ) Showing it's age ... but very clean
The hotel staff were very kind & helpfull. No.
location , service,
The rooms were gorgeous, and the facilities were excellent. Terrific staff-especially at the desk and the concierges.
Excellent location, service and quality. Could not ask for better
Lovely Hotel, excellent staff. too upmarket for me.
every thing wonderful none
Hotel was excellent, staff outstanding. Shame there was only one restaurant open with limited menu due to end of season ONly comment to you (booking.com) is that you gave us the wrong phone number of hotel on the form!!! Please amend....
The kitchen smells all over the place specially for morning – breakfast time. Cocking should be separated from dining area. If customers request any cocked food should not be prepared in the same area. Hotel should smell fresh with no smells of cocking and that's the first thing customers feel when they first come.
very excellent hotel.. in St. Morits..
One of the best Hotels I have ever stayed in. Service is impeccable, the staff are second to none, the Hotel itself is truly magnificent, would recommend it without hesitation. 5 Star plus. Nothing
Pleasant, welcoming staff; clean, attractive and comfortable room; own room and public areas smoke-free. Pleasant breakfast room with excellent continental breakfast buffet. Pleasant, quiet village. The free Engadine bus & train pass was very useful, and the hotel is just 1 minute walk from the nearest bus stop, and about 5 minutes from the railway station. The hotel's own restaurant was much more expensive than others around.
The cheap piker owner tried to charge me sfr 4.50 (us$4.50) for tap water during a $60 dinner. I raised hell, and he took it off, but not without "explaining" that "it is not for the water, but for washing the glass" (!!). I have been to Europe at least 50 times in 48 years, and no one has ever had the gall to try a stunt like this. I would blackball this hotel at once.
Room and adjacent bathroom were very nice for a single room
Quiet, clean and comfortable. Supposedly the restaurant should be a gourmet one - looked very good, they have a nice selection of wines. Employee or maybe owner was not properly kind. He seemed snobbish which is actually the wrong attititude towards your customers.
Staff were very helpful & friendly.
The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable. We were treated very well by all, including the hotel's owner. The dining room was beautiful, with antique wood-paneled walls and ceilings. The breakfast buffet had a hug choice of foods. The village of Samedan is also quite charming with cobblestone streets and very old buildings and monuments.
The staff was very friendly, the room was spacious and warm. The breakfast was great.
We were pleasantly surprised when the owner went to pick us up at the train station and even more so when we found out the great gourmet restaurant we did not expect to find in a little hotel in the mountains.
The politeness of the staff and the quality of the restaurant
The staff at the hotel was very friendly. On arrival the Manager introduced himself and on departure came and wished us well...nice touch. The minibar in the room was included in the price. The use of the internet in the lobby was also for free. Location very central. The room was too warm and we could not get the heater off.
Staff and location was central Teh room size and the wooden interiors
Location weak internet wireless signal from room.
The place. Right in the center o St. Moritz, and not far from station. They got a shuttle from and to the station. The staff very kind and helpfull.
I would like to stay in winter and to use sauna next time.
Very pleasant and helpful staff, nice restaurant, fine breakfasts, directly in heart of St. Moritz
wonderful breakfast incredibly hard mattress, a real nightmare
Everything. Could not fault a single thing. no
Hotel reception staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Cental location close to designer shops. Hotel provided transfer service to train station. Excellent restaurant.
Excelent services, very clean, excelent location
Beautiful breakfast, great location, cleanliness, helpful, knowledgable staff
Wonderful staff --- great breakfast --- nice ambiance (400 year old building ---beautifully restored --- Rooms were lovely very small with low ceilings --- Church clock Tower across the street!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chimed every 15 minutes ---- also chimed sporadically through the night???
The owner was really nice and inviting. Breakfast was good and location was nice. The church bell rang about every 15 min all night long. Which made it hard to sleep.
Larger than normal comfortable rooms in a central location
the management were so friendly, the hotel was unique, old and new style. food excellent. Brilliant place, what a find. nothing, everything was fantastic. if staying near St.Moritz you must stay here, 5 mins on the bus. Do not miss this hotel.
Friendly atmosphere. Centre of town location. Only a minor point - it would have been nice to have had the wash basin in the same room as the toilet.
Large room, comfortable bed. Some staff are atrociously rude and believe that the customer should pay for their lack of common sense and unintelligent assumptions.
The hotel is ideally located for skiing breakfast buffet was too busy
The Pool and Spa!! Breakfast. Proximity to ski school, ski rental equipment and slopes.
Everything was perfect Deposite for ski equipment
Good location, friendly hotel staff, clean rooms and good service. Several of the staff went out of their way to help us. Not a negative as the hotel has a lot to offer but It was not always clear what services or activities were available and how we could use them(e.g. kid care, nanny services, kids meals). Not specific to the hotel but if I had to do over again I would not have used the local ski school in Pontresina for the kids as suggested by the hotel, rather would have gone straight to one of the ski resorts.
From the moment that we arrived we received excellent service. I had barely removed the keys from my rental car and the concierge was organising our baggage and parking our vehicle. Our room was huge and had beautiful views of the mountains and glaciers. The Hotel itself is steeped in history and the formalities -such as a dinner jacket in the restaurant - were worth the extra effort and ensured a charming "somewhere in time" ambience. We travelled through Europe for two months and the Hotel Kronenhof will definately be remembered as one of the highlights of our trip.
Fabulous hotel with fantasic views.
Fantastic SPA!!!!! Very luxury restaurant and bar!!!!! I'm looking for going back as soon as possible!!!!! Outstanding!!!!!!!
Large rooms, excellent spa. The children below 14 are not allowed to use the spa even with parental supervision.
the friendly attitude towards us.
Outstanding personal service and the best concierge service (more than one) ever. Other staff all greet you, often by name. Breakfast buffet up with the best with a fine range of local cheese and bread. Large room with wonderful view to glacier and a great spa. Compared to the rest of the hotel, our room furnishing was.. uninspired.. ; hotel has no air conditioning which in August made for warm nights. And all this is expensive of course.
Good hotel ,Serive is prefect ,hope next time ,thanks
It was a very nice hotel in a very nice location. The restaurant attached was also very elegant.
Very good hotel, with tasty restaurnts!!!Perfect situation, unbelievable views on St Moritz lake and friendly personal!!!!will visit only his hotel next year!
great hotel breakfast needs to be improved and room service should be 24hrs
The location and view was great - a little spendy but it is st. moritz. The smoke from the bars in the basement would drift right up the stairwells - nasty to say the least...............rooms are all non-smoking, but spent no time at all in the bars due to all the smoke.
Very central location of the hotel. Very good breakfast in a nice looking restaurant and friendly stuff.
excellent restaurant. no facilities to make tea/coffee in the rooms.
Everything was excelent. Service, the room, the spa. We were upgraded to a Junior suite with no additional charge. We realy enjoyed being relaxed into the jacuzzi with an awesome mountain view on the 6th floor (spa) with no additional charge. It was just excellent. Everything ok!
The suite we stayed in was beautiful with an amazing view and the staff was exceptionally courtious, professional, helpful and friendly -- of the 8 hotels we stayed in in Austria, Italy and Switzerland, they were the best
Happy and good mannered staff who were very informative about the hotel,St.Moritz and good areas to visit N/A
Excellent stay. The service was first class. We really felt we were taken care of. Great location in the middle of town, but also very close to the Corviglia lift. Best of both worlds. Spa is also very good after a day of skiing. We stayed in a Superior room - which was huge and accommodated us very well with two small kids. Food in the restaurant was also highly satisfactory.
great location, loved the whirlpool with the view, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff. the food was good in the restaurant but the ambiance was lacking.
The hotel was centrally located in the shopping district and the shuttle came to the train station quickly. We were upgraded to junior suites upon arrival, which was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were very, very spacious and comfortable. The bar facilaties, as well as breakfast were both wonderful.
The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable. Happy hour was fun too. Watching the "tour" clients was very entertaining.
The location of the hotel is great. You walk one minute and you are at the ski lifts. One more minute and you are at Yves Saint Laurent shop :)). Very close to the train station. The hotel has a shuttle bus. Excellent staff. They help you in every way they can.The rooms are very clean. The rooms get turned down for the evening. Great view from the windows. In short we were very satisfied with the hotel and we got a very good deal at booking.com None
The room was excellent, big spacious and luxurious. The Barmaid , who was from Scotland, made everyone welcome and was very friendly. The breakfast was very average but the service was not up to the best standard. We also made an enquiry about some travel arrangements to reception and they never got back to us.
excellent location and a top quality room additional car parking fee excessive
First kitchenette we've had that had dishwashing liquid and dishcloth! Everything was beautifully clean and comfortable.
The studio was arranged over two levels with a mezzanine, very clever design!
Near Train station interlakekn west Noisy closed to main road bed is not comfort
The split-level room was perfect for our family of four. The kitchenette allowed us to cook our own breakfast for a couple of days - a welcome change from expensive hotel breakfasts. The free travel pass with two nights booking was a great deal. Celerina itself is also very nice with a good choice of places to eat and a station on the Bernina line. All up, we loved this place! We found the room a bit over-heated and there didn't seem to be any way to turn the heat down.
very clean, kind staff
tidy room and a full breakfast provided sound insulation is a bit poor, as it is rather disturbing to the sleeper because of the late coming
A rambling and fascinating building to stay in which we had good meals. Comfortable and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Excellent location in the quiet centre near to the church. Within easy walking distance of the train station.
You cannot beat the location in terms of being central and the rooms were spotless. The staff were very kind and accommodating. Breakfast was uninspiring and the price, in general, was quite high. I think Switzerland hotels are quite expensive in comparison to the rest of Western Europe.
Clean refurbished room. No TV. No lift. Parking could be problematic.
Mainly friendly staff. No TV. No english speaking staff. No menus in english.
Convenient location, clean throughout, polite staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable room. Toilet roll half used and no spare for when it was finished. No curtains other than net so light in room early. Staff could speak only Romansch and Italian. Despite Booking.com assurance that credit cards were acceptable, they were not.
The authenticity of the place was at first a bit off-putting (we had to lug our bags up three flights of stairs) but the room was fantastic.
It's within easy reach of the train station. The staffs cannot speak / understand English. For those who cannot understand the local languages, it will be difficult to communicate.
Location was good. Breakfast was good, not great. Cost was high, and there was essentially no discount for 3rd person in a room -- it cost 140sf for the 2-person room and 210sf for a 3-person room of the same size. Parking was crowded. No air conditioning, and nearby bell tower rang loud & early. Booking.com website says they accept credit cards, but they don'T.
Very comfortable beds, and quiet despite the creaky floorboards in the room itself. Beware, some staff do not speak English at all.
