Pros (+) Owners were very friendly. They allowed us to use the rest of our stay after we checked out early and missed our bus they let us sleep in our room at no extra charge which was extremely appreciated!
Cons (-) Bathrooms could have been kept cleaner but maybe that was because it was late at night when I used them. In the morning they were nice and clean. We also didnt have a secure door for most of the night into the morning. The keys stopped working or something and if it wasnt for my boyfriend asking a couple times I'm not sure we would have gotten a working key.

Pros (+) Cheap place to stay. Close to market street and train station. Not too many people stayed at the hostel. Bathroom was always stocked with paper. Bathrooms and shower were clean.
Cons (-) Not a true hostel as their is no common area. Only private rooms. Neighbors always have music playing loud. Neighbors also smoke a lot. Smell from smoke reached our room
Pros (+) Seems to be in the midst of an overhaul. New floors and paint and in decent shape for one of these cheap San Francisco hotels/hostels.
Cons (-) The owners/managers are a little crazy... Room was booked for two but they freaked out when my friend came in to stay, until I pulled up the reservation... Also, they hate animals... They were going off on someone with a small service animal.
