In the four-star superior Belvedere Hotel, nestled in the magical landscape of the Salten, the harmonious interplay of light and the vivid colours of nature create a unique feel-good ambience. While enjoying your breakfast on the hotel terrace in the morning, savour a clear view over the Dolomites all the way to the southern border of the region of South Tyrol.
The Belvedere Hotel has been a family-run business for 65 years. As a member of Hiking Hotels Europe, we are specialized in active lifestyle and wellness within the Alpine landscape.
The existing hotel had been expanded with a new wing below the level of the present garden. New Suites were built, partly embedded in the garden and offering a breathtaking view with their panoramic location. Furthermore, a new Outdoor-Swimming Pool with roofed access, a larger spa, gym and relax area are waiting for you together with exclusively new Suites.
Pros: Infiniti pool as awesome, the hotel is high up on the mountain, and this adds a special character to the place, ideal for those who like to travel through the mountains, the hotel provides tickets for public transport
Pros: Amazing views! Perfect sleep and atmosphere. Wish could stay there longer.
Pros: Very welcoming hosts on a working farm. The house is 400 years old and has lots of charm. Spotlessly clean, it was a really nice change from hotels on our driving honeymoon. Dinner in the rustic communal dining room was fabulous home cooked food (home made spag bol, antipasto, etc). Lots of very nice home made wine with terrific company. The guests and hosts gathered around for a chat and a drink and sampled some home made grappa. Wow. Great place for a stay with the top of the dolomites in view.
Cons: A little hard to find, but worth it.
Pros: The fresh and homemade food from the working farm was amazing! Fantastic views! Very friendly and helpful hosts! Wish we could have stayed longer!
Cons: This was our favorite place of all our locations on our trip to Italy! However, there was a heat wave at the time, and we wished there was a fan or two.
Pros: Owners are very nice!!
Cons: The had the fridge, but there was no socket for it, so it is useless...
Pros: Extremely friendly wonderful food and stunning room. Best loo with a view in many years. Great set up and location.
Cons: My only regret was not booking to stay longer.
Pros: The views were incredible and the hotel itself had a really nice homely feel. What stood out more than anything was the food, which was absolutely fantastic! It was all home cooked from scratch and it was obvious the ingredients were all freshly picked. The hosts were both lovely and spoke English very well - useful for us.
Cons: There wasn't really anything I didn't like. If I had to pick something I'd say the beds could have been slightly comfier but they were pretty good anyway. The bathroom we had could be looked into from our own balcony, not a problem if with a partner but worth considering.
Pros: The hosts were very hospitable. After the long day on the road the dinner they had prepared was very nice and their house white wine was excellent. My room was clear and the bed comfy. They also have an adorable friendly dog, which for a dog person like myself was a big plus.
Pros: Quiet location, possible to run if you interested, good food, prepared by owners
Cons: No wifi working at all in no places in the building
Pros: Comfortable apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. Quiet location, very friendly host.

Pros: Spacious room. Bathroom had hair dryer. Phenomenal views from room and restaurant. Delicious food. Indoor and outdoor seating. Staff wore dirndls. Friendly staff. Great location. Room comes with day ticket for Bolzano transportation and museums.
Cons: Slightly pricey, including food.
Pros: The restaurant was excellent with an amazing set menu in the evening of numerous courses. The breakfast had a lot of choice with lovely healthy fare. The views from the rooms was stunning, and the bedroom we had was enormous. The hotel is located in an area where you can just walk out into the mountains - so very convenient for walkers. No problem with parking. Would like to have stayed longer as there was a cable car nearby that went to Bolzano, but we didn't have time to locate it, which was a shame!
Cons: Some of the Superior rooms had a much better view of the mountains than others for the same price structure.
Pros: The dining area was nice with a nice view. Staff was nice. The breakfast good and plentiful.
Cons: The facility is going reconstruction and large cranes were in our view. The work contributed to the noise even on Sunday. The guests near us was extremely noisy waking us up at 1:30 in the morning. There was no front desk person to help up tell them to be quiet.
