The Hyundai they gave us was not a new model, and it’s battery died after three days. Alamo responded by bringing us a Nissan Kick replacement, but it took more than two hours to get it to us. Aside from that, the staff were friendly and helpful.

The entire process was quick and easy! A driver picked us up at the airport in a shuttle and took us to where they store the cars. The car was clean and in excellent shape. The guy who gave us the car gave us all the essential information. I got exactly what I reserved. The return process was also quick and easy. 10/10.

The do not honor their quotes and try to charge you more for insurance. I brought my certificate of insurance form my credit card. They did not even want to look at it. They are scammers. I went somewhere else got a nice car for less.

We made reservations for our family trip. A few days before they decided to let us know they decided to take a whole week off for Easter vacation. 🙄 Who does that in the travel industry?! Anyway, told us they would switch our reservation to the airport. Thought that would be ok and thought we'd have our original reservation honored for what we paid. Landed at the airport, went to Budget, and they not only didn't honor our reservation, they also were trying to make us pay TRIPLE the amount of money we paid! Are you kidding!! YOU CHANGED OUR PLANS AND NOT HONOR THR PRICE!! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Ruined the start of our vacation. Do not go with them! How ironic they take a week off for a religious holiday but don't hold up to the values. If I were everyone, I'd not go with them. 🤷🏻‍♀️ After wasting some time on our vacation, we found another car company who took better care of us. I don't recommend Budget at all.

Car deposits are not supposed to be high. $900 in the beginning!!!!! no wonder people get angry about it. I was too ...to be honest I was double charged deposit so I couldn't buy ANYTHING on my trip but stay home and do errands for my family 🤬

Bad experience. We were asked to go back to the airport in the midst or our rental to fill out some paperwork. We denied to do that and ended up paying more because of that.

They pulled some tricks that I don’t appreciate. First, they didn’t have the car category I booked. Unprofessional, but turned out to be not a big deal. Then, they didn’t accept the third party Kayak RentalCover coverage, so I had to pay twice as much to get their coverage. Last, they made me place a credit card hold of over $1000. This is unheard of. If I didn’t buy their insurance and stuck with my third party, it would have been an hold of *over $10,000.* Yes, seriously. The car ran well, was clean, and otherwise check-in and check out was fine. I will not be using Europcar again.

I was told I HAVE to get the premium insurance otherwise my deposit would be $26,000!!The receptionist kept on showing us in Spanish, I asked to have it shown in English, she did. And I was able to select no insurance, but it needed managers passcode. So I clicked back, and selected the lowest coverage and it was allowing me to choose how much deposit, $5000! At the return, they charged me $0.01 to release my deposit, which still has not been release. The car itself was comfortable, the people on the other hand, I feel they are shady.
