Pros. The room was updated and clean. The inn is located in a central location on the island so we didn't have a far drive to places on either end of the island. It was also nice being on the water. Not much shells on this access spot; would recommend Bowmans beach for that. There was lots of parking so did not have any issues finding a space.
Cons. Although updated with granite countertops, the bathroom was tiny and hard to maneuver in; and I am a petite woman. It would have been nice if beach chairs and umbrellas were included like most of the other hotels.
Pros. The room was well appointed, very clean and updated. Had everything we needed, was like an efficiency apartment. Location across the street from the beach was great. Though it was too far from downtown for my wife to walk, she has very bad knees.
Cons. Bed was very uncomfortable. Woke up with very sore and stiff back. When we checked out the front desk said the room had a brand new mattress. I doubt that. The person said we should have said something earlier, they would've gotten us another mattress. I had no idea they would do that.
Pros. The location was great with a beautiful view. Loved being close to the beach and having a short drive to the shops and restaurants. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well.
Cons. The parking wasn't very accommodating. The lot is gravel so the parking spaces aren't marked. The residents would take too much space up, so that would leave a lot less parking places. There were several times we would have to park on the other side of the hotel. The shower door wouldn't stay shut and water would get on the bathroom floor.
Cons. Did not clean room very well. Leftover coffee from AM was left in pot and coffee cups were never washed out just left in bed area. The coffeemaker is located in the bathroom on the small sink counter! Yuk! Forgot to empty trash cans. Beds were obviously made in a rush. This place is definitely in need of some updating, both inside and out!!
Pros. Secluded beach front location. Well maintained for an older resort. The hotel is arranged so that most rooms have a view of the gulf. On site restaurant was very good.

Cons. Small room and very small bathroom 1 person only. Room had light outside door that shine in the room.
Pros. Room was nice. Kitchenette was well supplied. View was breathtaking. bathroom counter top was spacious. Adored our screened-in balcony with chairs and table--it even has little hooks to hang out your wet bathing suit! Tons of hangers in the closet was really helpful. Room safe was very helpful to put wallets away when going to the beach. Pool was lovely. Pool bar was great for a drink or a snack. Plenty of pool towels for poolside or oceanside use. Could inexpensively rent umbrella and chairs for beach use. Business center let me get my boarding passes printed easily. Front desk was very nice and always helpful. Plenty of parking near our room.
Cons. We did have one roach in our room, but front desk had spray and it's the only negative issue we had.. Cleaning team was mediocre. They did an okay job but not a terrific job.
