Pros: Breakfast was very good - for Italy and the location and view from the room were wonderful. You could see rolling hills for miles and it was very peaceful.

Cons: Nothing at all - lovely little property!!

Pros: Filomena was excellent! She was an amazing host. She was there every morning and had breakfast ready. As soon as we were done with one cappuccino she would ask us if we wanted another. We attempted to find any remaining family and she and her family went above and beyond to help us. The place was extremely clean. Overall a great experience!
Pros: Comfortable modern clean rooms, great hosts and every need met
Pros: Super clean and spacious room, with en-suite bathroom. Lovely decor and attention to detail in every corner of the house, which was just recently restored by one of the sons of the owners, who is an architect. The location is perfect: right in the heart of the lovely town of Bovino. Plus, the hosts are just lovely: they make you feel like at home. Fresh croissant and cappuccino for breakfast are the cherry on top. Will definitely recommend this and hopefully...come back too!!

His mother was so friendly and helpful going out her way to make sure everything was just right. Gorgeous rooms and very modern accommodation! Cons: The parking garage eats cars. It is very difficult to maneuver around the columns. The
Pros: The building is, as described in its title, very Grand. Staff, at checkout and checkin, are very good and helpful. Well done .
Cons: Location wasn’t great, but the building is impressive. Unfortunately an 18th birthday party was held on our night there, and very noisy music and DJ till after 02.00. Breakfast unimpressive unfortunately.
Pros: My parents stayed at the hotel instead of me. They had only good things to report. Beautiful grounds, very good buffet breakfast, and the restaurant of the hotel (fish specialities was excellent and reasonably priced.
Pros: Modern, high quality fittings, clean, comfortable, great bathroom & shower (important to me), regular maid service with replenished toiletries daily. Staff were very kind and went above and beyond even after I had checked out.
Cons: Nor a dislike - there were many weddings throughout my stay so a little bit noisy at night and in morning when guests checked out. Didn’t spoil my stay at all though. Would stay again.
Pros: The location for our purposes was great. The facilities were also great. The staff was excellent!!!
Cons: Our AC did not work properly. The staff attempted to repair it three times which was partially fixed the problem. The biggest problem involved four dogs barking all night which kept us awake. This was not addressed by ownership, and two of the four dogs belonged to the owners.

Our host was really great at showing us around and pointing where to eat a night. Candela itself is a typical charming sleepy little Italian village, although the night we stayed the regional finals of Miss Italia were on which was a little different. ur host, the room and the house

Pros: Helpful staff given that we arrived late, nice room, good view, good breakfast, parking for my motorcycle , good value local restaurant, lotgqtion suited our topper needs
Pros: Casa Nostradamus is my favorite place to stay in Candela. The place is immaculate, the staff is friendly and accommodating.
Cons: This year I ran into a problem. I booked online and paid it in full. When I was checking out I was given a bill for my stay and I should the woman my paid receipt and she told me it was never processed. My July bank statement reflects differently, the funds were taken out of my account. I’m hoping there is a way that this transaction can be reimbursed.
Pros: -Very clean and nice. -Well equiped and great view. -Helpful staff.
Cons: -The streets are rather narrow and very tight turns, you need to be careful if you come with bigger cars. -Not much to do around the hotel, but the hotel is so nice that you dont want to leave anyways :)
Pros: Excellent breakfast.
Cons: TV cable connection could have been better.
Pros: It was clean but that was about it. SEE what we didn't like. Saw the cameras on the second last day there.
Cons: Our group of 7 stayed between 3 -7 days and all felt like prisoners and being constantly watched. The breakfast is NOT suitable for diabetics and if you pay an extra 5 euro you can share a couple of sliced boiled eggs, ham and cheese proportioned for you. There was plenty of homemade sweets but little was eaten. Wondered why the owners parents busted in at midnight to be surprised that we were only playing cards, checked the air conditioner that we had turned on and left. There was no coffee or tea facilities in the rooms, and we were not able to use the kitchen coffee machine as the fridge and all cupboards were padlocked. When we felt like a coffee it was miss out or walk 8 minutes to the nearest coffee shop for a quick espresso and home again, NOT an option for some. There is only 1 lounge so my friend and I sat on the brick/stone ledge in front of the fireplace and wondered why the next day there was a vase with flowers on it. I ran out one night in my slip after everyone had gone to bed to check that the air conditioner had been turned off. Beware of the cameras that we were not told about. The courtyard was locked and we were told that they don't open it as it is dangerous. There was a shaded area with a table and chairs and when I said that I would like to sit out there, they reluctantly after an argument opened the door, however, they would not leave the key for us to open and close as needed. So the washing had to be taken in dry or not before we went out as they would come and lock the door and take the key so we couldn't open it on our return. We all felt like 2 year olds and our ages ranged from 47 - 85. My friend was born in Candela and she and husband go when they are in Italy and her brother and family have a family home there as well and go to Candela every summer with their own families. This year they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary and all attended their nephews wedding outside of candela.
Pros: A very well presented B & B that was very clean and beautifully designed. The views from every window were amazing, looking out over the hills. The room was very big with access to a large kitchen area and sofa with tv. Highlight for me was the warmth that we received from the lady working in the B & B who came in to bake cakes, which were delicious for breakfast in the morning. This is a very special B &an.
With a stay at Le Pietre Del Borgo in Bovino, you'll be 26.3 mi (42.4 km) from Duomo Lucera and 26.5 mi (42.7 km) from Castello Lucera.
Pros: Beautifully restored B & B in a peaceful position in the ‘centro storico’ of Bovino. San Procopio is extremely well run and the staff are kind and helpful. We had a lovely room/suite at the top which had a spacious and comfortable lounge right next to it. The lounge has access onto a roof top terrace with seating. An added bonus, except that it rained while we were there so couldn’t fully enjoy it! When it wasn’t raining though, we took the opportunity to appreciate the wonderful view from the terrace, both during the day and at night. Breakfast was good and quality produce are sourced locally. Bovino itself is a beautiful town. We visited at the end of May and loved the buzz in the evening of families and friends having their passeggiata in the Villa and the Corso. We found the Bovinese people friendly, and would have loved to have stayed longer. A special mention here for Carmen. She is a lovely girl and her natural willingness to help people (and not just guests) is a delight. She went absolutely above and beyond the call of duty to come and rescue us, when we almost ran out of petrol after we’d gone out sightseeing for the day. On another occasion when I was having trouble in the municipio finding birth certificates for my mother and grandmother, Carmen was also miraculously there and ready to lend a hand. When we needed help Carmen was always there! She really did contribute to making our stay in Bovino wonderful.
Cons: Hard to think of anything they could have done better.
Pros: The whole experience, Carmen from the B&B came to fetch us from Bovino corso as we were not 100% sure where the B&B was, check in was nice and easy as was check out, she was very welcoming and even helped us with the luggage as she took us to our room. The room itself was nice and clean, very comfortable, the en-suite was very well appointed with a lovely powerful shower, it also had all the toiletries you could hope for.
Cons: although a nice quality healthy breakfast, the selection was limited, but the overall experience has been excellent. The B&B also has its "centro benessere" (sauna, jacuzzi, massages etc) which unfortunately we could not use through lack of time.
Pros: We live in Salento Puglia and decided to visit Bovino after seeing it on a tv program 'A spasso tra i Borghi'. It is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Situated on top of a hill, with a Castle. Hotel Palazzo San Procopio is a fabulous place to stay in Bovino. VG value. The hotel had four bedrooms over two floors. Each floor has its own communal sitting room. The rooms were spacious and had beautiful views of the Centro Storico of Bovino. See photo below. The staff were amazing, Carmen was particularly helpful, offering to phone around for any place we wanted to visit. She arranged for a masseuse and we had a wonderful aromamassage Breakfast was lovely. Had a wonderful supper at La Cantina, and Nicola the chef showed us round his Agriturismo & Caseificio (cheese making factory) the next day, We bought some wonderful cheeses, with mint, lemon and chili. We picnicked at the largest man made lake in Italy 'Lago di Occhito', and on our way home visited Le Canne della Battaglia. Thank you everyone for giving us such wonderful memories.
Cons: I suffer from backache but fortunately I had read the beds were a bit hard so I bought a small topper with me and had a good nights sleep. My husband slept as normal.
With a stay at La Maison in Vallata, you'll be 15.9 mi (25.5 km) from Chiesa San Andrea and 16 mi (25.7 km) from Imperial Castle of Sant'Agata di Puglia. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: It was the perfect place for me and my family! The host was friendly and very helpful. I would recommend it to anyone.
Pros: On arrival we were greeted by a very lovely host who presented us with a little gift bag. The room was lovely and a bathroom had a disco shower:-). You get a breakfast voucher to a nearby cafe and the coffee there was probably one of the best ones I've had in Italy.
Cons: Hard to get some traditional Italian food after 22:00.
Pros: Not much
Cons: 2 AC units in place, both did not work. Unit is below ground so no windows to open and was excruciatingly hot and couldn't sleep. NO TOILET SEAT! Shower was broken and could only get water out of the hand held unit but couldn't out of main shower head because the valve was broken. The holder for the hand held shower wand was broken, so in simple terms, the shower was useless. So if wand a bad experience, this is the place for you!
Pros: Spacious and very clean apartment in centre of small town. Very useful for travelling around the area. Fully equipped. Parking was free.
Cons: Breakfast was at a local patisserie. We were given a voucher to use. We felt we were limited to one pastry per person plus a drink each.
Pros: There were no eggs it was ok.
Pros: Location and very clean
Cons: WiFi was bad
Pros: Easy location. Parking was easy and the restaurant for breakfast was only a few doors down in this lovely village.
Cons: All Good
Pros: The owner was not there and some relatives helped us with getting the keys and entering the room. Heat was on, but seemingly the room was not heated for a long time since the walls and stair-case were very cold. They did everything to heat it up before arrival, but probably it should have been turned on the heat much-much before. Towels and sheets were clean.
Cons: The walls need a fresh painting, and the cleanness of the room was not perfect. We were sent for breakfast at a nearby bar, but there we got only water, a coffee (tea) and one croissant. The room was smaller than described and the "mountain view" was missing.
With a stay at Bed&Wine Rocco Zambri in Bovino, you'll be 26.3 mi (42.3 km) from Duomo Lucera and 26.5 mi (42.6 km) from Castello Lucera. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The friendliness of the owner. The passion for his wine. The location.
Cons: Nothing really
Pros: Very nice view, good wine, Rocco is very friendly and helpful! Nice new rooms! Hope to come back one day!
Pros: The location was beautiful, overlooking a valley.
Pros: The breakfast was just ok. It was within walking distance to the main street.
Cons: The rooms had very poor lighting. It lists A/C but when we arrived we were told it was not working right. Meaning not at all. We asked for a fan, which was the only way it was cool enough to sleep. We found out later that a family member had stayed a month before us, & the A/C was not working then. Very disappointed, would not stay again.
Pros: The owner was very helpful and walk me through his winery he also let me keep my car at his property the day checked all day as i wanted to see the procession in bovino grazia Rocco
Pros: Service, cleanliness, sights, very helpful and friendly. Fantastic family
Pros: Great beds, nice host, lots of space. Nice touches and a fantastic balcony view!
Cons: There were some smells in the bathroom (sewage) and kitchen (smoke). Not sure if permanent or incidental. Kitchen was missing some utensils (forks, knives), could use some new dish washing materials (sponge, etc.). We are tall and saw a lot of dust on shelves and higher places. This place could be really good (again?) after a thorough check and spring cleaning.
Pros: The cleanliness and views
Cons: Quite dark in the property
Located in Ariano Irpino, B&B Villa Milena is in the mountains and within the region of Sanctuary of Montevergine and Castello Lucera. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Milena and Salvatore went out of their way to make us comfortable. They served us homegrown fruit.
Cons: The seasonal pool was not up, even though we had +90 degree weather. And as for the AC? We got a fan - which was fine with the nice breeze coming from the mountain.
Pros: Truly a wonderful process arriving until departing. From the welcome afternoon snack to incredible restaurant recommendation to breakfast and take away treats, an incredible stay. Milena's English is exceptional and allowed great discussions is there area and things to do.
Cons: We loved this property. The hosts were wonderful and property very comfortable.

Pros: Easy to find, spacious & spotless bedroom and communal areas downstairs. Thank goodness for the restaurant and delicious food we were served each evening of our 2 night stay. It seemed strangely quiet and on one evening we were the only guests. Perfect location for visiting the historic delight of Bisaccia.
Pros: Nice place, easy to find. Owner very courteous but speaks very little English. Breakfast in the morning was delicious.
Cons: Air conditioning was not very good, but the window in our room had a screen so we were able to get a breeze through that. We also expected a better view then the back of the place.
Pros: Wonderful place to stay in a very charming town!

Pros: Food was good, clean
Cons: Basic facilities
Pros: The price Comfy bed

Located in Ariano Irpino, Villa Tre Colli B&B and Restaurant is within a 5-minute drive of Silver Museum and Civic Museum. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great location to rest. Staff is simply super friendly and super good food is served. Strongly recommended Very quiet place.
Pros: This was close to a city we were visiting that had no accommodations.
Cons: Bathroom was poorly lit with no storage. The only small shelf was slanted which made it unusable. No hooks or towel bars. Bed was very hard. No bedside table on one side. Noisy at night. No comfortable chairs or room to sit in to relax.
Pros: Really lovely surprise in our journey to Puglia. A bit out of the way and first impressions were mixed, but this ended up being one of our favourite places that we stayed in. Lovely property, fantastic views from the balcony, great food in the restaurant (stay for dinner if you can), decent breakfast and a good room overall.
Cons: The owners live on the upper floors and the floors/ceilings were quite thin, so there was quite a lot of noise. Being on a farm there was a lot of outside noise also, although that quietens down quite a bit near the end of the day. A small fridge in the room would be useful too.
Cons: Lovely friendly family run B&B
Pros: Very friendly. Relaxing setting. Beautiful view over the valley.
Cons: They don't easily accommodate an early breakfast. If you want to leave before 0900 then you are given a voucher for a cafe down the road. The cafe is good quality but it's a bit inconvenient. Restaurant currently on a reduced menu. However what is available is delicious.
