9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had a great stay at Pelicano! Nice Hostel, host with the best breakfast. Bikes are for free if you want to go to the Center of Santa Catalina or the Beach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner kindly welcomed us with a home made ice-tea and gave us all the necessary information about the town, including good places for food, beaches and things to do. The room is nicely decorated and of a descent size. The room includes air conditioning and you get your own bathroom. We could lend bikes for free from the owner. The bikes were quite useful since the place is a little bit outside of the town (less than 5 minutes by bike). Though the bikes are not the best, the breakfast definitely made up for this. The breakfast here was the best during our one month stay in Panama/Costa Rica. Every day it's basically a surprise what you will get for breakfast - and we loved it every morning again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff, location, breakfast, we would definitely come back!
Cons: A little bit far from the Main Street (15 minutes walking), but they provide bikes for free
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Zian the owner prepared a daily breakfast. His creativity and quality of food was great! I needed to get up early to dive and he loaned me what I needed to make my coffee very early. Then at 7am sharp he had a really great breakfast waiting. He went above and beyond in all his help. Would not hesitate to stay again! Thanks Zian for the hospitality!
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Attention to detail and support by local host Zian. He goes the extra mile to accommodate guests' every need. Peace and quiet: this property is ideal for visitors trying to escape the world for a bit to be "off the grid" Zian's breakfast is amazing with incredible attention to detail, daily changing variety of prepared breakfast meals and high quality products used - impossible to find anywhere else in Santa Catalina
Cons: Daily towel change would be advisable Property is located a fair walk from village center - which has pros and cons: cons include lack of immediate access to restaurants, shops or beaches (although free bicycles are available). Pros include total peace and quiet... With lack of backpackers choosing this property.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Zian made the entire experience. His warmth, knowledge of the area (e.g., ocean, trails, transport, and restaurants) and thoughtful attention throughout our stay were welcomed after long journey. His breakfasts should not be missed--they are scrumptious, healthy, and wonderfully presented (as are his cocktails).
Cons: Bicycles could use a little attention.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Villa Coco was the perfect place to stay in Santa Catalina. The bungalows are beautiful, the outdoor shower is amazing and the pool, set in the lush gardens is perfect. The beautifully designed rooms are very clean and and the huge beds are so comfortable! The boho chic atmosphere is relaxed and the staff makes you feel right at home. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Santa Catalina
Cons: The bungalows are shared and the soundproofing between the rooms was not great so we could hear our neighbours talking in the next room but in general the clientele is very respectful and we were not bothered
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is a wonderful, small, boutique hotel. We were in the only private villa (room 7) and it was amazing. The view is stunning, we sat on the big porch and lounged in the hammock for hours listening to the birds and palm trees rustle. The outdoor shower is so cool, loved the concrete floors everywhere. The pool onsite is stylish and the water is the perfect temperature. There are amazing birds everywhere on the property and it was awesome to see them up close (saw a hummingbird drink from the infinity pool!) - just incredible. There is a beach you can walk to and watch some good surfers. The restaurant is casual with great music and a wonderful ambiance. Great cocktails. Can't recommend this enough for any nature lovers who want to get away from it all. We seriously didn't want to leave.
Cons: Nothing!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice bed, clean room. Exotic location.
Cons: Toilet was not really separate from the room. Outside shower was fine, but impossible to set an intermediate temperature.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The pool is amazing, beautiful en very clean. The outdoor shower and the bed are very comfortable. They arranged our trip to Coiba, it all went smoothly.
Cons: The rooms are not soundproof. It's a minor thing, but we could hear our neighbors clearly.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Best place to stay in Santa Catalina. Most friendly and helpful owners.
6.3 Good
Pros: Excellent food
Cons: The location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful bungalows, pool and garden. Super nice and supportive staff. Great location.
6.7 Good
Pros: The property, the location setting and the swimming pool are beautiful.
Cons: We felt the staff was not very attentive, and there were several issues with the facilities: We had to wait a good 10minutes before being attended at the reception (in spite of arriving at a fairly standard check-in time: 5-6pm). The water in the shower was never hot (at best lukewarm, but only for the first 1-2 minutes). We were unlucky to have a hole in the roof of our room, so that water dripped directly on the bed and on the floor during rainy weather (we were lucky that the rain did not last long, and the newly-created pond was cleaned and dried up for free when we asked for it; but no apology whatsoever was received). WiFi properly worked only in the common/main area (which, to be fair, is mentioned on the hotel page). On the day of our check-out we were unable to make full use of the swimming pool as it was being cleaned with chemicals (during standard pool times: 8-9am). We stayed only 2 days and we were told it gets cleaned twice weekly. Breakfast was pricey by Panama standards (about 7$ for tea and bowl of yogurt with fruit).
Hostal Familiar Rolo - Santa Catalina - Building
3
9.1 Excellent (93 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Facing the beachfront in Santa Catalina, Hostal Familiar Rolo features a garden and barbecue facilities. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, a shared kitchen and organising tours for guests. At the hostel, each room is equipped with a terrace.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great hostel. The owners are really nice and helpful. Had a great time!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff is really nice and the hostel perfectly located. Perfect for a peaceful stay.
Cons: The kitchen closes too early, at 9pm.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Directly at the beach, lots of hammocks
Cons: No breakfast
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Hostal Rolo is really cozy and great value for money. Rolo and his family are lovely people and you feel right at home there. Location is also fantastic.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Stop doing more research and just book a stay at this hostel. The location is fantastic (you can spend an entire day sitting in a hammock and looking at the ocean), the people incredibly helpful and warm, the kitchen is large, you get filtered water and free coffee in the morning. I was happy that there was no wifi because I could actually connect with other travelers.
Cons: nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: 'Mi casa es su casa' is Rolo's motto and his beautiful family makes you feel exactly like home. The location is perfect, over Santa Catalina beach and very close to restaurants and market. The bed was confortable and the room i stayed had two fans and mosquito nets on the windows so i was never hot and no mosquitos bugging. I felt so welcome there that i ended up staying longer than i had planned. Tottaly recomend!
Cons: The kitchen can get a little bit messy over the day. No wi-fi and no hot water are not exactly a problem because you mingle a lot more with the people around and you don't damage your skin ;)
5.0 Okay
Pros: The hammocks were comfy and the staff was nice.
Cons: No hot water and no wifi. The "ocean view" is only if you get the one room that has it (through a bunch of trees) or if you walk over a berm that blocks the view. You have to walk down a bunch of steps (that have broken gas on them) to get to the beach, then climb over a bunch of driftwood and other debris to get to the sand. The "terrace" for the dorms is simply the hallway in front of them. The company they booked for my snorkeling tour was awful. The little dingy they put you on barely has shade, the staff doesn't speak English, and they only took us to two snorkeling spots, not four, and we only snorkeled at one for a reason unknown to me. And there were hardly any fish. It was a horrible trip.

Pros: Great pizza. After a night we decided to upgrade to a room with ac. Recommend this as the rooms have fans but still get hot. Nice and clean. Decent breakfast.
Cons: Hard to find a staff member sometimes. Aircon broke down on the 2nd night but not their fault. Staff gave us a extra fan which got us through the hit.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: All up a pleasant stay, the pizzas are good, well situated
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the atmosphere that this hostel created. The staff were super friendly, helpful and made my partner and I feel very welcome! Breakfast was lovely every morning, fresh fruit, toast and coffee. Pizza in the evening was delicious too! Location is great, very peaceful and away from noise but only a short walk to the “centre” and about 20 minutes to the beach for surfing. Would 100% stay again! :)
Cons: Nothing!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast and pizza, nice rooms, good airco. Friendly staff.
Cons: The staff doesn’t speak English. Only 2 people speak English and can help you book tours. This is difficult when you want to arrange something, since they are not always there or are busy working in the restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean rooms and very friendly, happy and helpfull staff and owners.
Cons: Be aware to bring extra cash money since there is no ATM at the town ;-)

Free bikes for use, good kitchen and the staff were really nice! Ensuite has hot water and the room had a/c Thankfully there was only 4 of us in a 20 bed dorm
Cons: Nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: The owner and his family are amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The location is great, just a minute's walk to the beach. If you are coming to Santa Catalina to surf, this is the beach you want to be close to. It's great for beginners. Surf board rental, laundry service, beers, soft drinks, water, are all available at a very fair price. Bicycles can be used free of charge. When we left we were dropped of at the bus stop in town, which was very nice. The rooms are en-suite and have a fridge and aircon.
Cons: Inside the room, you can hear the sound other guests make outside quite well. The kitchen needs more cutlery and plates. The bicycles (that are available for free, which is absolutely fantastic!) need maintenance. The price is okay for Santa Catalina, but quite high compared to other places in Panama.

Pros: The view outside the rooms and from the pool was amazing
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location. To compensate all the problems we have encountered at the hotel the owner gave us a free night by applying a discount in the total amount.
Cons: Lack of staff, poor management, cold shower, no WIFI in the room, TV not working, slow and disorganized service at restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Louis is a very Nice host and the location is great with a Nice swimming pool. Excellent restaurant!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a really good time at Sol y Mar and would definitely stay here again.. The Staff was really friendly and helpful and our Family-Room was really big and comfortable!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great view from the restaurant and swimming pool. Nice staff. My prefered hotel in Panama
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel itself was beautiful, with the cabins built on the hillside. The views were fantastic, of jungle and the ocean. Luis, the owner, was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. We ate supper here one night as well and it was great. The atmosphere is laid back and welcoming. In terms of location, it is a little bit away from the main surfer beach, Playa Estero, but that also meant that the hotel was quiet and safe. The rooms were clean, with good AC and hot water. The pool and restaurant area has wifi and is a relaxing and cool place to hang out. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend Sol y Mar!
Vista Coiba villas & restaurant - Santa Catalina - Pool
10
8.5 Excellent (285 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Vista Coiba Villas & Restaurant in Santa Catalina, you'll be on the beach, and 6.3 mi (10.1 km) from Lagartero Beach and 20.8 mi (33.4 km) from El Banco Beach. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location
Cons: Who owns where extremely simple for the price
7.5 Good
Pros: 1) The owner was supportive in organizing us a Coiba Island Tour. 2) We had a TV and a little kitchen in the room.
Cons: 1) The included breakfast did not please us at all. Particularly the eggs and juices were a big disappointment. 2) The bathroom was very old. The tiles were broken, the joints were dirty and old, the bathmat has seen better days. And when we woke in the morning it smelled horrible (probably from outside, as the bath only has fly screens and no windows). Not comfortable at all.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location beach front. Swimming pool Happy hour, spacious rooms.
Cons: No lunch
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The view from the tables at the swimming pool
Cons: We stayed at the "apartment ground floor". We paid 170$ per night. Few things: - The ground floor is separated by the apartment at the first floor by a unsealed piece of wood. Guests at the first floor can see and hear us as if we are in the same room. Ridiculous! Also, it was said that the apartment is 90m2, that is probably both floors together. - Dining area also advertised for the room..see photo for what is considered "dining area" - Wifi did not work for 95% of the time. - Hot water was on and off. - AC had to be fixed twice. - A number of elements of the house are extremely unsafe (plugs, stairs..see photos) - Floor and couches were stained - The hotel is said to have private access to beach. The only private access is to a very rocky, polluted area which is underwater with high tide. The real beach is 5 minutes drive, 20 minutes walk. Probably we are forgetting few things, but the concept is there. We are surprised this place has so many good reviews. Perhaps the other rooms are cheaper and nicer. But we pay so much and the place is worst than a hostel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The members of the staff were so nice and kind!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and price
Cons: No burners or microwave in the kitchen

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location, friendly staff, view from the room.
Cons: Noisy locals on the beach, but that had nothing to do with the hotel.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is beautiful, with rooms with ocean view balcony and direct access to the beach.
Cons: the food is not very good, a lot of options but the quality can be better.
6.3 Good
Pros: Nice location right at Playa Estero. Staff took us to the bus when we left. Hammock and Seaview were nice as well. Surfboard rentals are cheaper for guests of the hotel. Very quiet at night.
Cons: Bikes were not in a good shape, so we could not use them and had to walk to town whenever we needed to go there. My bed broke in the first night and had to be fixed the next day for me to be able to sleep in it as the hotel was completely booked out. Rooms were okay but the bathroom wasn't very clean and had mold on the shower curtains etc. Guests of the restaurant were not allowed to use the WiFi and hotel guests are not allowed to share the password otherwise they get a fine. I had nicer rooms for less money, but it was ok.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We got a friendly welcome at the property, despite we arrived quiet late. The staff was helpful with organizing a visit to Coiba National Park. Our room and the restaurant all had panoramic view. We really liked the decoration of the accomodation. The smoothies were amazing!
Cons: They have quiet old and worn-out surfborads for rent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifull view from our own terrace, beautiful view from the restaurant, food very good, direct access to the beach, possibility to rent board and surfboard, friendly staff.
Cons: Sometimes WiFi not very fast inside the room.
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Santa Catalina Rentals Las Hamacas, you'll be centrally located in Santa Catalina, 6.4 mi (10.3 km) from Lagartero Beach and 20.9 mi (33.6 km) from El Banco Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, laundry facilities, and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Awesome staff, tasty and large breakfast (try the cakes too!), clean room with A/C and a small kitchen, nice pool, hammocks in every terrace.
Cons: Water pressure from shower is nearly non-existent, but luckily there is another shower around the pool.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This was a fantastic bargain. The property and rooms are clean and seemed to be recently refurbished. The room was nicer than the photos would suggest. It includes a working A/C, decent WiFi and lots of power outlets (for when you have electricity), a comfortable bed, a kitchen table, stools, an outdoor hammock, a stove, and a fridge.
Cons: There was, in fact, no hot water (despite being listed as an amenity). The staff doesn't speak English. The entire town itself frequently experiences blackouts that could last up to 24 hours at a time (though I am told it's usually about 8 hours per day). No hotel is immune to this, though I assume some probably have generators. A new pool is currently under construction, so it may be noisy (around the time of this writing). I would have preferred a microwave to the stove as I do not cook.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location. Apart from the hotel you can take a breakfast. For $ 10 you will get a great breakfast, absolutely worth the money.
Cons: Rooms outdated, moisty, need refreshment,
6.7 Good
Pros: the staff was friendly, also the daily change of bed linen was nice. And we loved the hammock in front of our room, which was also cozy for two people.
Cons: Not really what I would recommend to friends and relatives. The amount of water coming out of the shower is almost zero, which is quite annoying when washing your hair. Moreover we never had warm water. Last but not least don't expect too much from the "kitchen", as for example the pans are so bad, it doesn't matter how much oil you're gonna use, the food will still burn.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel with a swimming pool and hammackas. Location was in the center of village, with planty restaurants, grocery store, scuba diving centers... The host 'sugar mama' was the best and try her mango cheesecake.
Cons: The air-conditioning in our room was directly above the bed
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The pool, the hammock for each room, the spacious A/C room with kitchenette, and the table + chairs on each terrace were great and very welcome on a hot lazy day in Santa Catalina. Plus the garden is really nice as well. The beach, the minimarket, dive shops, restaurants were all at easy walking distance. Great value for money!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice and friendly staff and really amazing location.
Cons: Too much noise from 5am onwards from the birds, trucks and people all around the room that didn't allow us to have a good sleep a single night.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was a good place to stay. In the centre of a great village Santa Catalina. Nice people they are kind. There is a pool where you can chill or just hanging in a hammock at your cabin. Everyday a clean cabin, you can also have breakfast at Sugar Mama. (Check my review of Sugar Mama). You can book your tours at the reception. We did a paddle tour and the Coiba Island tour. Both tours are great to do when you are there in Santa Catalina. Good restaurants around the Hotel a small supermarket just around the corber and great environment. When I ever come back to Panama I definitely stay in Santa Catalina and Hotel Las Hamacas.
Cons: Not everyone at the reception speaks English. But they try to or use Google translate.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The pool, the kitchenette and the comfortable bed
Cons: There were no bicycles and the beach is 20 minutes away by foot The shower
9.6 Excellent
Pros: -Located in a very central but yet calm area (supermarket, restaurants, dive centres, beach Playa Santa Catalina within 3 minutes walking distance; beach Playa Estero within 15 minutes walking distance) -Very nice and clean room with a small kitchen (cutlery and some dishes and pots included) -We really liked our small porch with the hammock and the hotel pool to take a little dip in the evenings -The staff is very kind and warm and helpful with anything (e.g. booking a snorkel trip to the Isla de Coiba, booking surfing lessons, departure times for the public busses etc.) -Also try the handmade mango cheesecake at Sugar Mama’s Café (a small and cute little café next door to the hotel reception). It’s also run by the hotel manager Carolina and the cake tastes delicious! -We really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend Hotel Las Hamacas – we felt like home immediately!

The food at the restaurant is really good i tried the lobster and pasta and both were excellent. Staff is friendly. You can rent boards, they have board games to borrow, a shuttle bus to get you to the center of town.
Cons: There were ants in the room but since its right at the beach i guess its hard to do something about it. If you are staying in the dorms, know that there's no kitchen for you to cook.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Having to cross the river was probably my favourite part. A very adventurous feeling crossing during high tide with my belongings only looking into an abundance of tall coconut trees and even more fun in the night drunk when the electricity is out. The rooms were great and beds were comfortable but most importantly to me only steps away from the beach for surfing and lounging. I spent a week with Oasis and should’ve stayed longer. David, Jennifer, Solansh and restaurant staff were so great and helpful, easy going and fun to talk to. Even the dogs were very friendly and playful. I would definitely come back and highly recommend to family, friends and strangers. Thank you Oasis Surf Camp for a great experience!

Pros: Just step outside the porch and finde yourself right on the beach. The staff is really friendly and the restauruant has some great food options

Pros: Breakfast was good. Location was right on the main road, close to everything.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: There was no hot water
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location and very comfortable. The restaurant is good but pricier than other places in town.
Cons: The WiFi was very poor. Other places in town have better WiFi.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice, charming and colorful hotel. Very comfortable and spacious rooms, good / clean bathrooms with excellent showers. Very kind and friendly personnel, certainly the hosts at the check-in counter. They helped out with tips about the area / tours. Well-located in the middle of Sta Catalina. Appreciate their eco-consciousness. The restaurant serves nice and fresh meals. Would stay there again and we had a lovely time.
Cons: Not the fault of the hotel, but with the odd party down the road, it can be sometimes a bit noisy for part of the night if you have room at the front part of the hotel (closer to the road). (we were there around Christmas / New Year's period, so not unexpected)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has a great location, right on the street where you can find tours to Coiba Island. It has its own restaurant but other options are walking distance. The street is paved, different from other options that are closer to the coast but have a long walk surrounded by empty fields. The area is very safe. The rooms were big and comfy with a nice decoration. The rooms had a terrace. The bathroom was quite different because it was on the back of the room and it was partially open air. The room included a nice written guide with tips about Santa Catalina. Price/quality relation was excellent. Also, it is far away from some loud houses that are close to the beach.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very well located. Breakfast even though isn't included is very good
Cons: No hot water (but sshould be fixed now according to the manager) Staff except the manager is just ok, not very polite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff is really helpful, and the location is very convenient we will certainty come back again.
Cons: Bring a good quantity of spray
4.2 Okay
Cons: Don't book this place in low season. There is no staff around the place (no reception which can answer your questions). No cleaning of the rooms for three days. Also the restaurant was closed and will be closed untill Novemver. For the price you pay, you expect more service, very overpriced.

4.6 Okay
Pros: Peaceful setting. The kitchen has very little dishes, etc but there was a refrigerator to keep food cold if you didn't want to pay $18 for the host to prepare dinner.
Cons: The communication between the host and guests needs a lot of work. The hostel is located about 7 miles from town and there are no taxi services. I didn't know that I needed to order breakfast or dinner ahead of time so I didn't have access to food or a ride into town to get food. The WiFi is very spotty so in order to contact the host on WhatsApp it's difficult without a good connection. The host was friendly enough but I don't think he was attentive to the needs of the guests. If you have tours booked it's really best to stay close to town or at least find out when transportation can be arranged "free" by the host, although by the third day I did have transportation arranged by the host (so I thought) and the host ended up finding someone he knew to drive me in a very beat up vehicle that couldn't even make it up the driveway, so I had to walk 1/2 mile with all my gear. This driver charged me $10 (double what the driver charged me to get into town in the morning for my dive trip). When I brought this up to the host he said he offers free transportation into town if it's prearranged, although I did prearrange it the day before and I suspect the hours were not convenient for him. I needed to be at the dive shop by 7am and I wanted to stay in town after diving all day to make sure I got food before heading back to a rural area with no dinner. Soooo buyer beware or have very low expectations.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Very close to peaceful beach I had enjoyed morning and evening at the beach. Water pressure was good. And I love all the structure in hotel. It is impressive. If your trip style is just relaxing, Hibiscus Garden will be best place.
Cons: I think this hotel was really good management. Every structure was made by passion and detali. However, it seems not managed well. Especaily, garden is needed to take care. And here is far from santa catalina. If you plan to activity santa catalina mainly, you better get hotel at Santa Catalina. The manager’s response is little bit late
7.5 Good
Pros: + loved that it was in a remote area but close enough to santa catalina. about ~6km to main town. + room and space was lovely. colours and small details of our room and shared spaces were beautiful + beach and the abundance of hammocks was a plus + quite and private
Cons: - wifi (though didn’t use it much) can and is only reliable in the reception area - was very put off by the host’s, matteo, girlfriend during our evening dinner. we went down to the restaurant and inquired about the menu and asked if they had a fruit salad or platter because we’d been travelling all day and wanted something light and refreshing. she said they didn’t but could make us one for $4 with piña, maracuya, and sandia, which we agreed. she served us a serving that could feed a child or what i would call a snack, and as she was putting down the platter she said, “oh we added some extra fruit (two tiny sliced in half key limes), so can we charge you for $6 instead?” my boyfriend and i looked at each other flabbergasted. i wanted to say absolutely not but he responded for us to avoid any disputes. that was the only con about our stay there. i suggest don’t buy any fruit there because it’s a rip off. you can go in town and get a piña for $1.50 and get 5-6 pods of maracuya for $1, sandia for $2, and the fruit shops sell fresh juice for $2 as well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was fantastic!
7.5 Good
Pros: Peace and quiet. Very nice surroundings. Crocodile in a nearby river. Nice and helpfull staff
Cons: Poor wi fi, sometimes lack of water.
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff very nice, great breakfast, 100% pet friendly.
Cons: Heavy maintenance strongly needed. Real distance from main attraction double then the one indicated on the web.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Location is from a natural point of view great. Breakfast and for sure dinner was very good.
Cons: Place is a bit run-down. Lacks life, maintenance, cleanliness.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The apartment has everything you need. Very clean. Very kind and helpful owner! Great pizza next door!
Cons: For us it was no problem, but it’s a ~15 min walk to the center. We had breakfast included, which was at the next door restaurant. This was very basic and staff over there was not so good.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very efficient, inexpensive, self-contained unit. No nonsense, cleaned thoroughly, easy to reach and get around Santa Catalina. Liked the little handwritten welcome touches. A/C was brilliant. Grounds were simple but well maintained. Bed was nice and firm, it was quiet and close to the ocean by car. Jamming next door made great homemade breakfasts (I need the pancake recipe) and excellent Italian pizza. Thanks Paula and Omar!
Cons: Could have used larger pillows.
