It was very convenient in that it was close to the Flores airport. The rooms were fairly spacious and clean with newer appliances. Had air conditioning. No hot water at any point. No filtered water for guests to refill water bottles or drink from. Everywhere else we stayed in Guatemala had filtered water for guests to drink, brush teeth with, etc. You had to buy it by the bottle which seems wasteful. The staff we encountered were not particularly helpful or friendly.
The front desk staff was very helpful--offered help with finding an ATM, called a taxi when needed, helped facilitate shuttle and airline travel. Location is perfect--on the waterfront. The chambermaid took care to make the room welcoming, and window AC unit took me back to the 70s of sleeping to a window unit during the summer. Room was smaller than I anticipated, and sheet and towels were of a low quality; however, I think the amenities are on par with the locale.
