Different type of accommodation than usual hotel and very cute tiny room. Breakfast included pancakes which were yummy. There are comics on bookshelves covering the walls which made it a unique experience.
The bathroom is outside the accommodation area and you have to walk past people using slot machines, dart boards and pool tables to get to the bathroom. There was also only one shower so would be hard if busy.
Great location, comfortable room, all you can eat soft serve, all you can drink soft drinks, and great manga selection.
Only one shower for women.
The place was new and cute. The location is amazing. And even though there was construction right next door. The walls of the building was sound proof. It was off season when my friend and I went, so the place was fairly empty.
The single rooms aren’t really single... there is an opening (like part of the wall missing) above the door. So if there were people walking by or snoring then you could clearly hear it. Also there is a smoking room in the private lounge of our hostel but the funny thing is that it is an open room. Meaning even if there’s strong ventilation, you can smell everything outside the lounge, in which to me is kind of pointless of having a “room”. But the BIGGEST problem was the air flow of the room either in the normal or the deluxe rooms. Though the hallways of the rooms were very nice and cool, but once u get inside the capsule or single room, it’s really warm and stuffy. There’s a little built in fan, but it doesn’t do any justice, it’s still really hot and stuffy.
Breakfast was well done
No light after midnight.
I really like this place. Whenever I go to Sapporo, I stay here. It is peaceful, calm and entertaining at the same time. They have good food with very reasonable prices. Beds are comfortable, everywhere is clean.
Some of the drinks were not very good (especially orange juice).
