Lovely view, nice setting in wicker/garden, dining room...great food in both dining rooms, breakfast and dinner. Good view from room.Loved our short but delightful visit to baths. Hard to find hotel on our GPS...lconfusing it with another hotel in same general area...or?
Room size was good with all of the amenities one would expect. Breakfast
Comfort and silent hotel. Nice place to relax a bit.
The view from the room and the fact that they had bath robes
location, breakfast, access to the Limes-Thermen lack of free wireless Internet, too narrow sngle beds
Comfortable and functional; great restaurant on site; a little far from the Aalen City Center, but easy driving distance.
The spa was excellent with the pool and the sauna and turkish bath. The food was good and the breakfast buffet was excellent value for money.
The restaurant was amazing - the food was excellent and they had a wonderful broad selection of items to choose from. They provided an english menu and really the food was above and beyond anything I expected!
Easy access from the motorway. Good restaurant, Clean and silent room.
This has been so far the best hotel we have stayed in. We loved it No
Clean and comfortable Next to a church with loud bells!
Extremely polite and accomodating staff. Even if guest knows no German, not a problem.
Very quite and plesant place The cemetry sight
The room, beds, and bathroom and the size of the room. Also the peace and quiet.
I stayed at the hotel in late October, it's not yet winter but the room was very cold. I already turned the heating to maximum and it was still very cold at night.
Simply fantastic Old Hotel :) We will come back there for sure!
the hotel is beautiful and is very centrally located, making it a wonderful place to stay for a visit to Dinkelsbuhl the staff was not very friendly
The location was good and the rooms very spacious. There was no one to help with our bags so we had to carry them ourselves two flights of steps. It was 92 degrees outside and our room temperature was 105 degrees with no air or ventilation. By far the worst night on the whole trip. We had paid for valet parking and found our car on the street parked illegally and unlocked late at night.
The room was much bigger than we expected - more like a suite with an entry hall, full size shower room and a sitting area with couch. The hotel is quite quaintly decorated which we found to be a unique touch. You really get a feel for the history of the hotel from staying there. Location was great being on the main square of the town. There is a daily night-watchman tour that departs from just across the road and during the day, there is a horse and carriage tour that departs from the building next door. As there is limited parking in the town, we reserved a car park and the staff kindly offered to park the car in the garage themselves and retrieve it the next day for us. For light sleepers, be aware that the main church is directly opposite the hotel and the church bells can be quite loud and go on for some time. This did not bother us as the location and views of the town more than made up for this.
Really enjoyed staying a historical building. It is amazing such an old one is still alive "in service". Only if there would be a lift, however, we understand why there wasn's.
Excellent location, beautiful, noteworthy historic building with updated rooms, gracious dining room where an ample breakfast is served. Guests should know that parking is off-site and at an extra cost.
very welcoming and efficient; big comfortable room; quiet; very good restaurant and breakfast.
Fruhstuck ! The shower does not allow a choice of stream, it is only a very strong flow.
clean comfortable and friendly....great value
Great staff ,very welcoming, good food.
Wireless internet access
This is my second stay at the Adler and was again very happy with the friendliness of the welcome from all of the staff. Breakfast buffet is very good, as is the restaurant. Well recommended as a staging point on the way South.
Beautiful hotel with excellent personal service, excellent restaurant, well located, parking is very convenient, highly recommended
friendly staf , good food, clean rooms
We searched 2 hours in the region of Aalen before we found your hotel. There is another "Adler" restaurant at another Aalener Strasse in Aalsen. Your Hotel is in Westhausen!!!! The gps brought us to the other one. It was very difficult to find the right place in the dark, when you are not familiar with the region.
Located in the town, close to restaurants & shops. Friendly helpful staff. Plenty of space in the apartment to relax. Very quiet - couldn't hear other guests. It's a minor point, but cushions on the leather sofa would be nice to make it more comfortable.
Very modern and trendy, but still in an historic setting. It's a thing, but we dislike German hotel beds (too hard) and pillows (too soft and flat) but this was common to all German hotels.
The room was large, comfortable, bright, and clean. The owner was very friendly and cheerful. The breakfast was excellent. It was an excellent value for the money.
Personal attention of owner to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Excellent selection at breakfast including several homemade delights.
The staff cold not have been more welcoming, helpful, or friendly. Our room was very large, bright and modern. Excellent breakfast and useful suggestions for dinner. Free internet and plenty of parking.
This was our second visit to this hotel and everything was just perfect.Very friendly staff who are also very welcoming to children, excellent breakfast, very stylish & clean & well equipped, comfortable beds.Good value for money and definitely worth a visit! Nothing.
It was like at home. none
Owners were very hospitable. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. No
the best hotel we have stayed in for many years
we enjoyed it very much. Everything was just superb! Exellent value for the money. we will recommend it wormly. Sophie & Ygal. Israel --
Felt more like staying in a unit than a hotel. Big room with modern appliances. Breakfast was excellent with a lot to choose from and the staff were only to happy to help.
Cleanest room we ever stayed in.
The hotel was very good for the business traveler. The food was excellent. The rooms were clean and noise free. WiFi connections were above the normal strength.
The room was well maintained and clean. The staff has been very friendly and the two dinners I had at the restaurant were of high quality.
This is in a quiet neighborhood, with an excellent restaurant attached. the staff is very helpful and cheerful. Rooms are clean and larger than some chains.
This hotel has an excellent restaurant an very clean comfortable rooms. I think that you will not find a better hotel for the price.
Location Friendly staff WiFi erratic
We arrived in Dinkelsbuhl on a rainy evening early in the week. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. Our kids loved having a room overlooking the street. Dinner was outstanding...possibly the best meal ever, for sure our best meal while traveling around Germany. Loved it! There was no coffee for the in-room coffee maker, but that was not really a big deal because they brew a pot of fresh coffee for you at breakfast upon request.
Amazing room decor!
My wife and I went to Germany for our honeymoon. We stayed in Dinkelsbuhl for the last few nights of our trip. It was nothing less than fantastic! The owners were more than accomodating. The breakfasts were great, the decor was very unique and the art studio displayed many of the owner's pieces. We even bought a few I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend anyone else to do the same!
Helpful owners, location of the hotel, free parking Cannot be helped for the old and somewhat historical building such as this, but there is no lift so putting up and down heavy suitcases is troublesome.
The artist owners created something extraordinary to this very old building. We will certainly return to this lovely hotel (and the city) again some day.
friendly family run hotel in pretty little and fairly unspoilt town. No evening meal but owner is pleased to recommend restaurants.
Very friendly owners. Good combination of art & hotel business. Good location. Clean rooms. We would come back.
everything was just pleasant and relaxed
We enjoyed our suite, it was spacious with beautiful paintings and antique cabinets. We had good contact with the owners of the hotel, and fond memories of our two days stay. A word of advice, if available, book the suite, it is well worth the extra few dollars. Not the hotel, but the italian restaurant next door was poor, salty soup, pasty pizza, poor service. There are better places in town to eat.
The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The room was tastefully decorated and very clean. The bathroom was modern and larger than many in other hotels where we stayed. The location is quiet, but it is also convenient for day trips to other sites of interest in the area.
very nice artist host, great location
The hotel is in a quiet rural village and has been finished to a high standard. I was given an appartmewnt that would have slept 6! It was enormous. The restaurant serves excellent food and was not very expensive for the high quality that it produces. I would definitely stay here again
The people are very friendly! The spa was excellent!
New hotel, very modern - build in 2007, nice and friendly staff, quiet location in a village, a lot of parking places, clean. The hotel I liked most in Germany, in the last couple of years. I would stay again any time there. Breakfast simply great, bright breakfast room, a lot of food to choose from. Children friendly, with super playground. TV screen is far too small (15") - but for me it didn't count. Free wireless would be great
There is a nice fitness center and wellness center. The rooms were what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. They were a little bit old and dirty looking, but not horrible.
Really nice hotel full of character with friendly staff. Good garage for safe cycle storage. Great breakfast (again!) Everything was good.
The staff were extremely polite and helpfull. Room was lovely and clean. Didn't want to leave
Right in the heart of Dinkelsbuml which is a walled-in mid-evil small city - all cobblestone roads, colorful buildings, real neat place to visit.
The family room was big enough for four of us, and bath room has a large and deep bath tub. Also, the dinner was very delicious and the price was reasonable as wel. Everything was perfect, and we want to stay there again.
Nice hotel. Excellent location. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Excellent value for the money.
The location of the hotel is excellent for walking around Dinkelsbuhl old town. The hotel and rooms were very quaint and the restaurant was excellent. The breakfast provided was also excellent.
very lovely room at the heart of the town
Rooms were large and comfortable. Lots of knick knacks around so it seemed like we were staying in someones house. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Free parking a plus. Wi fil charge excessive...8 euro for 60 minutes. Heat was turned off at night but luckily it wasn't freezing yet outside.
Central location in old town. Garage for motorcycle. Tiny shower, room not as requested.
The rooms were niced size as were the bathrooms. Free parking and even tho there was no lift, you could drive around back and bring luggage in on 2nd floor from the parking area. breakfast was good, although the woman tending to it didn't seem too friendly toward us. It is located on a side street so there is no view other than the other buildings across the street. It is in a small town so everything is close. tho, Wi fi is 8 euro for 60 minutes. Seemed like lots of "stuff" around
the thermoregulators on heaters were not working properly. as an effect the heater could only be very hot or absolutley cold. This impacted the comfort of overnight.
Big room, exellent food, kind staff A lot of flies, there were a big barn on the backside, thats why
Everything was good. . The flies- there where many of them. But we were at a farm, so that we could have told our selves
