Spacious rooms, convenient location, nice pool and hot tub. Loved it!
Valet parking only and it's $55/night
Great stay overall
The hotel was exactly what we expected. Good value for what we paid. Great location within walking distance of Seattle's main attractions.
I was double charged by the hotel. When I called to have it corrected, they claimed it was my fault. Ultimately, one of the charges was reversed but I was very unhappy that I almost ended up paying double for the hotel's mistake.
Lost and found
I forgot an item in the room, and calling to hotel 3 times trying inquire how it can be picked up. One time redirerected to vmail with no follow up; second time it was suggested to call at different time; third time waited for fairly long time and gave up.
It was good

Good stay at olive 8
Hotel is well appointed and the staff is excellent!
Staff amazing rooms clean beds great
My whole family of 6 loved this hotel the staff and location
Good location in downtown that is walking distance to most downtown sites. Lobby restaurant had great breakfast.
Thin walls allowed voices and tv to be heard from neighbors.
Lap pool & spa were outstanding.
Room service coffee was inconsistent.
Everything you need right there.
The steam room, spa, cafe, bar, and 24 hour room service with quality food were all great perks. Jaime
A couples first trip
It was my girlfriend and I's first trip to Seattle. The hotel was within walking distance of anywhere you'd wanna go. The staff was super helpful and we were able to squeeze everything we wanted to do within the weekend we were in the city. Whether it's shopping, a concert at the paramount, the space needle, the farmers market, or just wanting to explore the city, the Hyatt gives you the opportunity to do all these things without needing any transportation other than you two legs.
Great location and super friendly staff. We were glad to be here without our kids.
My only gripe is that the tv channels are very limited and you have to pay a lot extra for every tiny thing, even internet. In this day and age I think everyone should be giving out free internet!
Good location to walking downtown and easy to get to from the airport using the light rail.
The hotel wanted to charge for wifi, that should be free these days.
If an environmentally conscious hotel in Seattle is a high priority, the Hyatt at Olive 8 should be at the top of the list. Known mostly for being completely "green," the hotel also offers top ranks in exceptionally high customer ratings, and easy, walk-to-everything location. The Hyatt at Olive 8 is not directly on the waterfront, but it still manages to take advantage of all that downtown Seattle has to offer. Hardly a car, taxi, or bus is needed at this centrally located downtown hotel. It’s throwing distance from the Washington State Convention Center and is surrounded by shopping, theaters, and dining attractions. Two blocks away are Nordstrom and Pacific Place shopping center, as well as Westlake Center. A five-minute walk takes travelers to all the shopping, dining, and entertainment they will need while visiting Seattle. The Seattle hotel is eco-friendly from top to bottom, featuring a sustainable-foods restaurant and recycled writing pads, to a non-chlorinated saline lap pool, water-reducing showerheads, and energy-efficient light fixtures. Amenities at the high-rise hotel include luxury views through a heated, glass pool deck that looks out onto the Seattle skyline, a destination spa, 24-hour fitness and business center, and top-notch dining with a farm-to-table restaurant and a chic wine bar. The 346 accommodations are sleek, spare, infinitely eco-conscious, and come in guestroom and suites. Eco-friendly features include a master control switch dims lighting output, recycled paper, and low-water toilets and showerheads. All rooms come equipped with pillow-top mattresses, iHome and iPod stations, flat-screen TVs, coffee/tea makers, mini-fridges, and air purifiers. Even with the popular Seattle attractions just minutes away, Hyatt Olive 8 offers so many conveniences that guest have a hard time wanting to leave the hotel.
