Family run Austrian hotel
We were one of last down for breakfast and the dishes had been allowed to be run down with some empty. Asked for an egg but 25 mins later it still hadn’t appeared. Not a great breakfast experience
The food was very good, we had half board. The waitress at night was great and so was so the staff. Free parking and we had a great stay.
The SPA is absolutely wonderful. New and elegant it is easily the best feature of the hotel. There is a good sized backyard for the childern to play and the meals were good.
The hotel could be nice, but seems a bit old and would probably need a restiling mainly in the rooms. For a 4 stars hotel, it is understaffed, the same people man the reception (usually empty unless you ring) and the kitchen, service in the restaurant is 'distracted' to say the least. The fridge in the room, nowadays a common feature even in lower rated structures, was removed. Lastly, when asking if it was possible to have somthing prepared for lunch for our 2years old, they said they didn't cook at lunch and coul only heath something we brought them in the microwave.
The best hotel sauna facilities we had in years ! Spacious, with free water and tea, and in complete silence. We love !
Missing: a small fridge in the room (or call it mini-bar) would have taken our beverages cooled..
It’s a very nice location, easy to get to the center and to the ski lifts, quiet in the evening, staff very friendly and helpful, good food! Feels like a family run place
the price that was mentioned in the statement sent by Booking.com has been brought up by 1.5 times upon checking out. It seems that even though I had booked for 1 adult and 3 Kids, Booking.com provided the price for 2 adults instead, and we had to pay 1.5 times more than in the booking confirmation...I’m not sure why Booking.com or the hotel haven’t ever sent a confirmation with the correct price?! No tourist likes this kind of surprise!
