Pros: It's a nice hotel in a great location. Great pool! Lovely lobby and cafe area.
Cons: The room was a great room but the ac kept resetting to a default temp and the room stayed hot. Also the sheets are scratchy. I hate scratchy sheet.
Pros: Great new hotel, great sunsets

Cons: Be sure to call well in advance same day if you're arriving after 10PM, or you won't get a key to your room.
Continental breakfast was pretty minimal and not very health conscious.
Have to pay additional fees for beachside furniture.

Cons: Only one good rsstaurant within easy walking distancehttps://maps.google.com/maps?q=Party+City%4042.1151914,-87.9843942

Cons: Let me start by saying how misleading the previous reviews about this place are; for sure the fake "excellent place" reviews were written by the owners of this awful motel. This is for sure NOT the #1 hotel in Treasure Island!!! We have been coming to this area for a decade and staying at great places such as the Marriott and Sunset Vistas. Unfortunately we decided to try something new. What a mistake!
About the owners: the lady who owns this place is extremely rude on top of her huge language barrier; we couldn't understand half of what she said. She is bossy and does not respect costumers' concerns and complaints at all (as written by another costumer before on a real review). We felt very unwelcome for bringing children. They also charged extra for our children!!!
Why is not safe for children? the floor tiles are very slippery in the entire unit. My kids felt badly and my daughter got injured twice. You need to keep drying the floor with towels all the time. The rooms are not child proof! Another big problem is the location. There is a long walk to the beach, which is NOT simply across the street. You have to walk all way to the pedestrian crossing area in order to safely get to the beach through the heavy traffic. It took us about 10-15 min to walk to the beach with all the umbrella/ stroller/ chairs etc!!!
Rooms: we stayed at a 2-bed and the AC does not cool down the second/porch addition bedroom. It gets super cold in one room and super hot in the other room. There are no curtains and some of the blindes are broken. That means you will be up early with the sunrise!
Service: they only provide few kitchen utensils. Towels only once for your whole stay. We try to find the owners at the office but no one to be found when we needed help. They don't provide cleaning products but expect you to leave the rooms clean or you may be charged!!
Check out is at 10 AM!!!! No option for extended hours?!? What?!?
We will certainly never come back to this place! There are better and more affordable options of hotels oceanfront that welcome costumers in a much better way and provide safety and comfort for families.
When visiting Treasure Island, The Bungalows Motel is a great choice to consider. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, along with onsite kayaking and surfing/boogie boarding. Rooms at this Mediterranean motel get the details right with nice touches like iPod docks, premium bedding, and rainfall showerheads.
Cons: Mildly hard to access, had to do a U turn to get to driveway
Pros: Great room and breakfast was amazing ... Staff was fun and great.. Nice pool
Cons: The price could have been a little lower... I didn't like the fact that they could take the big dog into the breakfast area

Cons: * Had issues with booking through a 3rd party
* no staris from parking garage to lobby floor, had to run in the storm to get in from parking
* $25/ per day security deposit we did not know about

Pros: Returned to the BFB hotel a second year with my mom who loved its small, quaint, friendly feeling and its magnificent views of the beach. Oceanside rooms are perfect for two and provide an opportunity to relax and enjoy the views. Staff are very accommodating and down to earth. Rooms are clean and designed to add to the "life by the sea" experience. Our first year there was quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately there year there were some rude vacationers that put a damper on our trip.
Cons: Tables by the beach encourage people to sit and smoke. Very sad that this year we had to close the door to our room many times due to people smoking cigarettes, weed, and drinking late into the night. Make that area non-smoking and reinforce it. Place a smoking area elsewhere.
Someone dumped a cup of snuff onto my rental car. Would recommend placing some sort of awning over that area to protect peoples cars. When the hotel is full there can be nowhere else to park but on the gulf side of the hotel.
Barefoot Beach Hotel is a great choice for a stay in Madeira Beach. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, along with onsite rowing/canoeing and surfing/boogie boarding. Bonuses like sofa beds, refrigerators, and microwaves are in all rooms.
Pros: We booked a room with a balcony and the view of the ocean was great. The room was very clean, and to our surprise had a pretty nice kitchenette.
The beach was not crowded at all, which was very nice. The resort fee included daily free kayak or paddle board rental, which we took advantage of everyday with no wait. It also included free beach chairs, but we brought our own so we could have saved on room in the car had we known beforehand.
Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend The Bilmar to anyone looking to enjoying Treasure Island.
Cons: The only negative thing about our stay was that our room was not ready for us to check in until about 4:40, and check in was at 4:00. Not a big deal since we were able to hang out by the pool while we waited.
Pros: Easy walk to variety of restaurants and shops. Very short drive to other destinations.
Cons: We booked our room and we're charged but when we arrived there were no rooms available and I still have not received my refund...which did put us on a bind that was 500 dollars that we didn't have for the rest of our trip...very sissappoints
Pros: Cheerful rom with great views
Cons: A little noisy
Pros: Beach front, lots of stuff going on in general area, convenient etc.
Cons: There were some fees that brought the nightly price from what I thought was a real bargain, right up to lots of other places in the area that I usually stay. I'm sure the fees were disclosed somewhere when I booked the room online but it raised the room price quite a bit compared to the $93 per night (plus fees) I thought I was paying. It seemed a tad sneaky to me and I wouldn't stay here again because of this.
Pros: We have stayed at Bilmar many times and always have a great visit. The rooms are spotless, modern and very comfortable. Breakfast at Bazzie's Beach Cafe are excellent. Walk from your room to the immense Treasure Island beach, or just a few minutes' drive to a dozen other T.I. attractions.
Cons: They should install pneumatic wheels on the hotel laundry and housekeeping trolleys -- they make an incredible amount of noise going past your room on the brick corridors, and always seem to be busiest when we are trying to nap!
Pros: The view was spectacular. It was fun having the use of free bicycles, ocean kayaks and paddle boards. The food options were great.
Cons: They didn't clean our room everyday. One day all they did was make the beds. No trash was taken out and they didn't vacuum the floor. With two toddlers in diapers the trash needed to be emptied every day and the floor vacuumed.
Pros: clean, and very hospitable staff
very nice shampoo and conditioner and soap!
Location on beach is very convienent
Cons: the cost - one night 197.00 way too expensive
Cons: Rooms and bathrooms were small. No fan in bathroom-hot. Bartenders were rude.
Pros: The Bilmar is very clean and right on the beach. The room looked over the water. It was chilly outside the nights I was there and enjoyed sitting by a fire pit that they had. Had dinner at Sloppy Joes. Good food at a good price.
Pros: Beach front. lots of restaurants nearby, large beach and good walking trail. good location but the facilities are old but good.
Cons: The front desk was very subtle, beware of stingrays and surprise charges. Paid $134.40 plus $15 and got the worst room in the resort, dark, dingy room with no view whatsoever, they had mentioned that it had a pool view, not thru the window but thru the door peephole. Walls on both sides plus small windows. The facilities were good, the room was very clean but found couple of live roaches. The rooms are noisy. On checkout they charged me a resort fee of $15 plus tax for parking and amenities, which they never mentioned at booking, check-in or in the fine print. They say complimentary parking but they get us somehow or the other. I had 4 days off and was so glad that I stayed only one day, they are several great places nearby. I saved some money there. The beach was great and had lot of fun. The weather was excellent. The food at the restaurant was ok, I had to get the bill corrected three time – watch out like a hawk. Money greedy people. Not worth the money.
The Bilmar Beach Resort, a Florida Gulf Coast resort in Treasure Island Florida has been the undisputed favorite of families for years. The spacious studios- efficiencies- penthouses- suites- and amenities that include two heated pools and a beachside fitness trail are all a part of what makes this beachfront getaway unforgettable. We invite you to explore the accommodations at the Bilmar as well as our resort amenities and the local Treasure Island area. When other hotels on Treasure Island simply will not do make plans for a vacation as it was meant to be - at the Bilmar Beach Resort.
Cons: Limited parking by hotel. 14-15 spots total directly out front and the staff parks right there as well. Staff should be required to park across the street to allow additional parking for paying customers. This was one of the big issues I noticed with this hotel
Pros: Location was great
Cons: I was under the impression all rooms got a beach view we didn't. Rooms were incredibly small like really really small!!
Pros: Very clean and quiet. Pool area is in the center of the hotel making it nice and private, surrounded by beautiful landscaping. The beach is right out their back door. Loved the location.
Pros: Met all our expectations, it's not luxury, but it's nice. Appreciate all the honest posts that we based our decision on. Would definitely consider revisiting the gem.
Enjoy your visit to Redington Shores with a stay at Hotel Sol. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, and hiking/biking trails, kayaking, and parasailing are nearby. Rooms feature conveniences like kitchenettes, along with flat-screen TVs and premium bedding.
Pros: Staff was friendly, lodging was decent, clean and moderately updated.
Cons: Had a room directly next to breakfast and gym, across from elevators and stairs. It wasn't overly loud or distracting, it placed our 2nd floor room overlooking the pool, in the corner lining up to the patio, 25 feet to direct right was the bar, where breakfast was served, and stairway down to main entrance doors. Kept the sheers closed, and didn't use our balcony due to lack of privacy, wasn't disruptive, just a little to easy to see right into our room. Pool was closed 5-7 pm for cleaning??
Pros: Clean room
Cons: Breakfast was minimal
Pros: Right across streeet from beach with free self parking and breakfast. Not much more you could ask for.
Pros: was good
Cons: from the desk pressure to us to leave before time hour,
bathroom bath shower i saw dirty with fungus in the tile,
Pros: Right across the street from beautiful beach, heated pool/ whirlpool and plenty of great restaurants close by!!
Cons: Only complaint is not enough days to enjoy the area before heading back to work.
Pros: Great value, excellent location. Walk to everything you want and need.
Pros: Free parking, free wifi, kitchenette
Cons: Very long walk to water from public parking area. Hotel did not provide beach chairs. View was not very good, even from rooftop patio. Room was filthy. Not much to do in the immediate area. We actually drove to Johns Pass Madeira Beach to use the beach there for 2 days and rented chairs for $15 a day and that's what made the trip worth it.
Pros: Large room, comfortable beds easy access and central location across from the beach and ammenities.
Cons: Loud AC unit! A minor nuisance.
Cons: They seemed unorganized and unprofessional. It took me calling them for them to tell me the hotel was overbooked.
Pros: Very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. They were installing new carpet and our room already had it. Appreciated being able to have our pet there and the fridge and micro. Beds were comfy and we had more than adequate room to move around.

Hotel Features. Treasure Bay Hotel & Marina features a 24-hour business center, swimming pool, a spa tub, and complimentary use of a nearby 24-hour fitness center. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel and a marina is on site. The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms at this Treasure Island hotel are non-smoking units and feature balconies, flat-screen TVs with premium cable channels, and free weekday newspapers. Free wireless Internet access is also provided. Kitchenettes offer microwaves, refrigerators, and coffeemakers.
Pros: I liked almost everything about it, honestly. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I'm from the Clearwater area and was visiting family in Indian Rocks Beach. I learned a long time ago it's best to stay in a hotel rather than with family. Anyways, the breakfast was simple and sufficient and had just about everything you could want. For the price and location, you definitely can't beat it...!!!
Cons: I hate to even bring this up, but it would have been nice to have a room that I could smoke in. It was a bit of an inconvenience, to be perfectly honest. The air conditioner made loud noises during both nights. It woke me up a few times.

Pros: We liked having a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms as well as easy beach access just across the street. Also walked to restaurants on John's Pass about 5 min.
Cons: New bed linens need to be supplied, the ones that it had are really old. Although everything was very clean.
Pros: Ended up staying at their new Bella Vista location, which would have been more expensive to reserve alone, so we got some additional value. Both rooms seemed excellent despite this major setback. Overall ended on a positive note and enjoyed the stay.
Cons: Staff decided it was a great idea to initially give us a one bedroom room despite literally having on receipt a reservation for a two-bedroom room. They suggested to either bear a one-person room until tommorrow, when a double would open up, or go to their Bella Vista condos. Had to relocate to a different location further away from the beach, no pool. Housekeeping was not informed of our occupation and came in mistakenly on the first day we stayed.
A great choice for a stay in Madeira Beach, Madeira Bay Resort & Spa features a marina. You can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant, or indulge in massages, facials, or mani/pedis. An outdoor pool and a health club are other highlights, and rooms offer conveniences like kitchens and sofa beds.
Pros: The personnel at the front desk were great (Charley and Scott B) and we had the most wonderful time there. Will stay there next time I am in the Tampa area and want some nice beach time and great food.
Pros: It was pretty and was entertaining.

Pros: Will not ever stay there a again front desk were rude and would not help with my luggage I had to drag it up stairs
Cons: They would not give me a room on the bottom floor
Pros: The Thunderbird is awesome. The rooms are nice, clean, cute, COOL (as in AC cool) and the property has everything you need for a stay at the beach. The location couldn't be better and the staff was wonderful. We needed to stay past check out time and they would've let us stay in our room as long as we wanted, but guests were coming in that had requested our specific room. They still let us stay on the property, park, and use their facilities as well as towels for pool/beach and ice even after we checked out. I can't speak highly enough of this place!
Pros: Great location, very friendly staff. The rooms and the grounds were a bit dated but very clean. We liked that we had the option of sitting by the pool or in a beach chair on the sand close to the pool. And the beach access cannot be beat!
Cons: Mattress was pretty hard and the loud neighbors could be heard late into the night.
Nestled on the beach, this Treasure Island hotel is within 1 mi (2 km) of Dolphin Marine Rentals, Treasure Bay Golf and Tennis, and Treasure Island Golf, Tennis & Recreation Center. Hubbards Marina and John's Pass and Village Boardwalk are also within 2 mi (3 km).
Cons: Breakfast was awful, didn't know it was possible to mess up bacon
Cons: When we arrived at 9 p.m. I found out that the room I had paid for was no longer available. I had myself and a female companion and two kids and the room only had one bed in it. I had paid for a double but there were none left available. I tried to get the front desk staff to help but they told me there was nothing I could do unless I wanted to just leave. It was late at night and almost everything in town was booked, I was left without any options
Pros: Clean and comfortable.
Cons: I booked a room for 3 adults but they only provided a room with two beds. When I went to the front desk to inquire about getting a third bed/cot, they did not have any available.
The Country Inn and Suites St. Petersburg - Clearwater is 100 percent smoke free and features 70 guest rooms and suites with wired and wireless Internet access, 32 inch flat screen TV, refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker in every room. Fitness room and business center with copier, fax, printer, and Internet access. Complimentary Be Our Guest Breakfast each morning. Recipient of TripAdvisor's 2015 Certificate of Excellence.
Situated by the ocean, All Seasons Vacation Resort by Liberte' is a great choice for a stay in Madeira Beach. You can get a morning swim in at the outdoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Condos feature bonuses like kitchens and washers/dryers, along with balconies and sofa beds.
Pros: Such a nice staff!. Right across the street from the beach and a cute tropical pool area. Walking distance to the beach bars and dining. Comfortable room with a full kitchen. Quiet at night.
Cons: It's an older hotel with a few wrinkles, but the plusses make that easy to overlook.
Pros: huge room, decently comfortable beds, great view of pool area which looked great. 24hr front desk. great location and prices
Pros: Very clean. Nice workers. Close to beach. Would stay again.
Cons: Dated, but clean.
Pros: Not too far from the beach, easy access location, free wi-fi and on site parking. All and all the place was not too not bad...definitely nice and quiet.
Cons: Room is quite dated, circa 1960s, kinda like staying in grand ma's spare bedroom. Also I became painfully aware that there is a difference between Beach front (ad photos) and beach access (shoes req). foremost strictly adhere to the check in at 3pm policy
Pros: The room and friendly folks that work there. The pool and area was clean. The hotel was in the right spot to the beach. They have an efficiency room that had clean kitchen and bathroom.
Cons: That we had to leave.
Cons: Smell. Bed, carpet. All old out of date. This is the 70' and 80' when they allowed to smoke in hotel. Now 2015 no smoking is allowing in the hotel. But the smome still smelled in the hotel room. I know why the bed and the carpet are from the 80'.
Cons: No wifiNo remote for tv
Pros: Great location.
Cons: Cannot check in after 9. Office totally closed. Kitchen from 1975? Pool closed at dusk. Check out time at 11 but online said 11:30. I felt very unwelcome.
Pros: The pool was large and clean.
Cons: Old rooms and, furniture..Bed uncomfortable, noisy air conditioner.not the cleanest
Pros: The hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Clean and comfortable. This is a hotel straight out of the 50's, so if you're expecting something more, you'll be disapointed. We will stay again when in the area.
Pros: We liked the price the location and the staff.
Cons: The old room. Carpet was rough and uneven. The windows on the ground floor didn't lock, so we were worried about a break in. One of the beds was broke down.
Situated by the ocean, Island House Hotel is a great choice for a stay in North Redington Beach. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool, and freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks.
Pros: Megan the proprietor was extremely helpful. Rooms are clean. The kitchen is just adequately stocked. Everything seemed to work.
Cons: I understand the hassle of recycling, but in today's world there should have been an additional can for recycling. There was not one in the room. If there was one outside I missed it
Pros: The price
Situated on the bay, Lorelei Resort Motel is a great choice for a stay in Treasure Island. Freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks, and guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby kayaking, parasailing, and surfing/boogie boarding. Rooms feature kitchenettes and balconies.
Pros: Location was unbelievable. Room was perfect for myself, wife and two small kids. Kitchenette makes things so much more convenient and cheap! Staff was more than helpful, allowed us to hang out on beach for a few hours after checkout. 10/10 recommend.
Pros: Great location - Right on the beach! Great coffee shop across the street. Easy parking and easy to travel from the hotel.
Cons: No shampoo provided.
It was noisy because there is a motor shop in front of these old motel. no staff in the morning theirs hours are 9hr am to 4hr pm
Pros: near the sea
Cons: no reception apon arrival at 6 hr pm the exterior was durty and the interior like walls was broken and the shower was patching with ciment. it was very small. It is to small for 2 adults imagine for 4 personnes(advertise)
Our end room was a bit noisy on Friday night due to bar across Gulf Blvd.
Pros: The kitchen
Cons: Only one chair in bedrm/livingrm. Remote did not work and girl never came to fix it after I called her. No dinner plates or teaspoons when we arrived- 1 teaspoon and 2 plates appeared the next day.
When visiting Indian Shores, Sun Burst Inn is a great choice to consider. Guests will have free perks like WiFi and self parking. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves, along with balconies or patios and flat-screen TVs.
Pros: I was a bit hesitant until we arrived we loved it! We actually extended our stay for 2 more nights. Everyone at the hotel was super friendly nice rooms and a great bay view! Walked everywhere no need for vehicle. Will definitely be back
Pros: The pool area was very nice. The air conditioner was great. The kitchenette was nice. The bed was ok for a hotel bed. Nice area out back ( Bayside ) with picnic tables/grills. The staff was nice especially Terri the housekeeper
Cons: The shower head was PAINFUL!! If I knew we could have taken the shower head off I would have went to the store and bought a cheap one to replace it with. If you walked in the room with no shoes on, the bottom of your feet would be black (I kept my flip flops on at all times). There were knat like bugs in the room, especially around the windows. We complained and they said that the exterminator would be out "sometime during the week " but we never saw them. The bugs were especially bad first thing in the morning. They would be all over the blinds on the Bayside of the room. This made me more uncomfortable than anything during our visit.
Pros: A good value, clean with a small kitchenette. Staff was friendly, although office closes early.
Cons: The beach is really wide, so it is a bit of a hike to the waterfront. Parking is limited, a warning to late arrivals.
A great choice for a stay in Treasure Island, The Bayside Inn & Marina features a marina. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, and kayaking, parasailing, and scuba diving are nearby. Conveniences like kitchenettes are in all rooms, along with pillowtop beds and flat-screen TVs.
